An Ultimate Guide to Understanding the Role of a Full-Time Virtual Assistant
Are you planning to outsource to a full-time virtual assistant and are looking for an ultimate guide to understanding the key responsibilities of the position?
Whether you're a small business owner, entrepreneur, or managing a growing team, a remote virtual assistant is able to handle administrative work, customer service, social media management, and more. They can be a valuable asset to your business because they are most likely dedicated to supporting your daily operations, helping you manage time-consuming tasks, and allowing you to focus on the core areas of your business.
So, if you’re looking for someone to lighten your workload and become a trusted part of your team, a reliable remote VA might just be the best fit. They bring a level of commitment and support that can make a big difference in your day-to-day operations and overall success. They can free-up your time even when you're busy with other important matters.
This guide will walk you through the main role of a full-time virtual assistant, their responsibilities, and how they can benefit your business. You can also check out John Jonas’s podcast episode on how a virtual assistant can simplify your workday.
What Is a Full-Time Virtual Assistant?
A full-time virtual assistant (VA) is a remote worker who offers comprehensive administrative support and handles a wide range of tasks for your business. Unlike part-time virtual assistants, who might work only a few hours each week, a full-time VA is committed to working a full schedule, typically around 40 hours per week.
What sets a full-time VA apart is their dedication to your business. They work from their own location, which is often from home, or they might be using digital tools to communicate and manage tasks. This setup allows them to provide consistent and reliable support without the need for physical office space. They are generally equipped to handle routine business operations efficiently, freeing you up to focus on more strategic aspects of your business.
What Does a Full-time Virtual Assistant Do?
But what exactly does a full-time virtual assistant do, and why might you need one? The duties of a virtual assistant can vary depending on the needs of the employer, but generally, they handle tasks that help keep the business running smoothly. To earn more about how a virtual assistant can fit into your business and what they can do for you, check out this in-depth guide on Onlinejobs.ph
Administrative Support: This includes tasks like managing emails, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence. A VA can help organize your calendar and ensure that all appointments and deadlines are met.
Customer Service: Virtual assistants often handle customer inquiries and support tasks. This might involve answering emails, managing chat support, or even handling customer complaints.
Data Entry: VAs can assist with entering data into databases or spreadsheets, ensuring that information is accurate and up-to-date.
Social Media Management: Managing social media accounts is another task that a OFS can take on. This includes creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media activity.
Bookkeeping: Some virtual assistants have skills in basic bookkeeping, such as tracking expenses, managing invoices, and handling other financial tasks.
Research: Conducting research for various business needs, such as market research, competitor analysis, or finding new suppliers.
Project Management: They help oversee and manage projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and that team members are staying on track.
What Are The Key Responsibilities of Skilled Virtual Assistants?
Understanding what a full-time virtual assistant can do for you is crucial to making the most out of their services. Here are some common responsibilities that full-time VAs can take on:
Administrative Support: This includes managing your calendar, scheduling meetings, handling emails, and organizing documents, allowing you to focus on more strategic tasks.
Customer Service: A VA can manage customer inquiries, handle support tickets, and provide a positive experience for your clients. This role is especially important if you want to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction without having to oversee these tasks personally.
Social Media Management: If your business relies on social media for marketing and engagement, a remote virtual assistant can create and schedule posts, interact with followers, and analyze performance metrics. This helps in maintaining an active online presence without needing constant attention.
Content Creation: Whether it’s writing blog posts, creating newsletters, or developing content for your website, a VA can assist in producing high-quality materials that align with your brand’s voice and goals.
Bookkeeping and Data Entry: VAs can handle tasks like invoicing, expense tracking, and updating databases. This ensures that your financial records and other important data are kept up-to-date and organized.
Project Management: If you have ongoing projects, an online virtual assistant can help coordinate tasks, track progress, and communicate with team members. This can improve efficiency and ensure that projects stay on track.
Specialized Support: Depending on their skills, some VAs may offer specialized services such as SEO, graphic design, or website management. It’s important to clearly define what you need and find a VA with the right expertise.
Onboarding Your Full-Time Virtual Assistant
Bringing a full-time VA into your team involves several key steps to ensure a smooth transition and successful collaboration:
Define Your Needs: Identify the tasks and responsibilities you want to delegate. This clarity will help you find a VA with the right skills and experience.
Create a Clear Job Description: Outline the role, expectations, and key responsibilities. A well-defined job description attracts the right candidates and sets clear performance benchmarks.
Find the Right Candidate: Use reliable platforms or recruitment services to find the right one who matches your requirements. Look for OFS with relevant experience and positive reviews.
Set Up Effective Communication: Establish regular communication channels and tools to stay connected with your VA. Clear and consistent communication is crucial for remote work success.
Provide Adequate Training: Even though the chosen person you hire is experienced, you might want to provide them with necessary training and resources to understand your business processes and expectations.
Final Thoughts
A full-time VA isn’t just about offloading work; it’s about finding a partner who can seamlessly fit into your business and help you run it more smoothly. Whether you’re overwhelmed with daily tasks or just need a hand with specific projects, a VA can provide the support you need to keep everything running efficiently.
To get started, think about where you need the most help and what skills are essential. Write a clear job description to attract the right candidates, and use platforms like Onlinejobs.ph to find talented VAs ready to assist you.
If you’re looking for skilled virtual assistants, here’s a quick guide to find the right fit for your needs:
If you need help with website management, check out Webmaster VAs.
If SEO is your focus, you might want to outsource to expert SEO VAs.
For content creation, full-time Writer VAs or Blogging VAs could be a great fit.
Real estate businesses can benefit from professional Real Estate VAs.
Those needing design work can hire talented Graphic Design VAs.
For quality bookkeeping tasks, Bookkeeping VAs are available.
If you need someone to manage your website, think about outsourcing to a WordPress Expert.
Ask yourself: What tasks are taking up too much of your time? How could a full-time remote VA help you get things done more smoothly? What is your focus right now, and how could a VA shift your attention to more strategic areas of your business? Imagine having someone handle routine tasks, manage your calendar, and oversee projects, freeing you up to concentrate on growing your business.
Think about the relief you could feel knowing someone else is taking care of these tasks. With a dedicated online VA, you can focus on growing your business and achieving your goals more effectively. Your next great hire might be just a click away, ready to help you streamline your work and improve your overall productivity.

I love the way Andrzej Sapkowski writes Ciri in Tower of Swallows when she's relating the horrors she experienced, travelling alone as a young girl in a hostile world to Vysogota. She endured so much at such a young age but never let it break her, and I find her strength and resilience inspiring. Reading her describe feeling like a wooden doll, stepping outside her body during an interrogation to look down and watch it really got me, like... I do that!!! I've been doing that almost my whole life, I knew exactly what she's describing!!! Sapkowski really understands the different ways trauma can shape people. Ciri becoming more violent (while still hesitating to kill) is a natural response to the violence that surrounds her, the conditions she was raised in. So does her seeking comfort in an animal, in Kelpie, who cannot speak but can provide some much needed silent support when nearly every person she's met over the last few years, besides Yen & Geralt, only wanted to use her.
#ciri#cirilla of cintra#the witcher#the witcher books#tower of swallows#always loved ciri. cosplayed as her when I met geralts va#relatable portrayal of someone who has been through an ungodly amount of trauma and been hardened but not broken by it#and remains so compassionate and loving to her friends and family#but is allowed to be angry and hurt and full of rage at the same time#and she's still just a child! it's heartbreaking how young she is

Rose Ch2 Culprit Theory!!
(Spoilers for Ch2 Ep12! (and literally every episode before that too)
(i know it probably isn’t her, but i wanted to post my theory regardless! Also, this is unfinished, I just wanted to post it before Ep13 comes out- I’m so sorry to anyone who reads through my stupid little rambles-)
(reminder that all of this is silly stuff my brain thought of while i was sleep deprived after ep12 so- none of this is probably relevant-)
I was looking at DRDT culprit theories for Ch2 and randomly though what if it's Rose-? 'Cause after they found the body, Rose was right outside the room, in the hallway- She was the one who found evidence that nobody else would have found, since it was hidden in the trash can, and more than that, it was evidence that specifically framed someone else. She mentions not wanting to see the body, so she's unable to help with the crime scene, unlike in ch1, where she helps by using her photographic memory to draw a picture of the crime scene before it got disturbed.
But WHAT IF the reason she doesn't want to go in is because she doesn't want to end up accidentally revealing herself as the killer- Like- First off the BDA thing, where 3 people who hadn't seen the murder needed to set it off- This isn't actual evidence, really, but i thought i could mention it- uh- Anyways! Another way she might reveal herself as the killer is being too- useful- Like, how Min volunteered to help Teruko investigate in Ch1, but it was actually just to make sure Teruko didn't figure out it was her. So- Rose could've made a fair assumption that Teruko or someone else could be suspicious- And so she used the excuse of not wanting to see the body as a way to get out of it.
The reason she might want to escape is because of her family- Who she put into debt and also got them out of it- So she obviously cares about them, ergo, motive for murder. (maybe she was reminded of this when Teruko told her the secret she got-? idk lol)
Plus, she mentions the grippy tape in the gym, and how she used it to be able to do a pullup- So she could've used it to get a better grip on the spinny thing during the murder. (I know it’s probably just a way for the tape to be introduced before the murder) She could've taken it from the gym whenever, and since she's the one who mentioned it was missing- Could be to get rid of suspicion. although she wasn't there when the tape disappeared from the gym, you can't rule out that she might have an accomplice- Or she could be the accomplice, either or-
Also, I've seen a lot of culprit Eden with accomplice Levi, but what about culprit *Rose* with accomplice Levi- Just a thought I had.
Rose culprit with Levi accomplice theorists wya
Another thing is the fact that she hides her face when talking to Teruko in the hallway after Arei's body is found- which means we can't see her expression. And since her voice is usually monotone, even when talking about stuff she cares for, we can't get any clues about her emotions from that either-
She's also the first one to mention that the evidence from the murder is probably hidden on the second floor, since it would be difficult to make elevator trips without people noticing it- This isn't *too* suspicious, but also, it could be. Because sometimes Danganronpa is so fucking sneaky and hides stuff in obvious places-
None of this is really concrete evidence it's her, even though she *does* try and push everyone back to assuming the murder happened at night, rather than in the morning like Teruko proved it did, during episode 12- And in Ch2 in general, Rose has been- kind of derailing the trial a bit. Not too noticeably, but a few things-
1- She *did* agree with Ace somewhat when he brought up Nico being the killer. Which is understandable, considering that they *did* lie and steal from her- But it could also be evidence of her trying to blame someone else for it without being overly suspicious.
2- She spends some time in Ch2 Ep9 trying to convince people that Arei committed suicide and not murder. Maybe a normal assumption, but given that they're in a murder trial, talking about a murder, and Veronika had already mentioned that Arei wouldn't have been able to snap her neck by jumping from the swingset- Plus the rule that if it *was* suicide, MonoTV wouldn't hold a trial. And since Rose has a photographic memory, she should've remembered that, right? She even mentions this- in the trial- She then brings up the possibility of assisted suicide, instead of continuing with the murder assumption like everybody else- Rose could've helped Arei kill herself, but this isn't a theory about that, it's about her being a murderer so-
Also, she hasn't fallen asleep once in T2 yet. Which is- strange considering she did in T1. And plus the fact that she possibly uses sleeping as a form of escapism. Maybe because she needs to contribute more to this trial for it to work, but it's still suspicious- I might just be reading too much into it idk- Maybe the reason she isn't sleeping this trial because she doesn't have anything to specifically try and escape right now. Unlike T1, Rose supposedly didn't see Arei's body, so she wouldn't be trying to forget it by sleeping through the trial.. But that's also not really evidence, mostly just guesses-
(Another thing- When the fish in the playground are brought up, she seems like she's going to say something- But then J interrupts and Rose just stops talking. Probably doesn't mean anything but I'm putting every Rose trial scene in here- )
She also doesn't have a reaction to the note being brought up, but she joins in after Teruko asks to see the note for the second time. She mentions how she and Whit figured Teruko wouldn't mind as much if Eden was the one who had the note- probably so Teruko could easily check if Eden was lying.
Rose doesn't talk for a while after that, but almost at the end of episode 10 she mentions that she doesn't have an alibi. Of course, this doesn't mean much, considering what happened in episode 12 where they find out that they got the whole time of the murder wrong- Which leaves almost nobody with an alibi. But I had to mention it so-
After that, she doesn't speak up again until Ace is mentioned as a suspect, and then she only mentions that Ace being on the second floor is suspicious. Which, again, normal assumption, but just let me have this- And after that, she brings up David's 'secret' of family depression not being on the board- Which starts David's whole Nagito arc that apparently lasted 2 hours-
Okay! Now on to episodes 11 + 12! Rose doesn't show up at the beginning part but she does show up when the others are talking about David's real secret. She mentions that no actual good came out of David pushing them to share their secrets- And then after that her only line immediately after David's reveal was just her talking about her memory again- And then after David and Hu's whole.. conversation, Rose mentions how David is 'Definitely the killer.' Which is, well, what everybody else assumed, too- I just think it's interesting how Rose only shows up in this trial when somebody else is being blamed.
After David's whole 'I killed Arei, blah blah blah' moment, Rose speaks up and says they should just vote now. Levi agrees, and he actually almost tells MonoTV to start the voting time. She's really pushing for just whoever seems the most suspicious at the moment- I mean, plenty of characters have done it, but it's still really interesting to me. Mostly because if Teruko hadn't stopped them, everyone would literally be dead. David's plan would've worked-
Okay! Now Ep12-
Rose doesn’t show up for a lot of it- again- But her first appearance in this ep was when Teruko realised her mistake. All she does is say that it was kind of a big mistake and that’s it. Nothing else about it from Rose. She doesn’t speak up during Arturo’s rant either. Rose is shown when Charles asks if anyone has any counterpoints against Arei being killed at 7:30AM, but she doesn’t say anything.
And then they go back to alibis, and like before, Rose still doesn’t have one. She never has one, because she’s always asleep- But that’s not evidence, really, because nobody (besides 3 people) even have an alibi for this-
She doesn’t show up during David’s monologue either, but then nobody really shows up during that besides J, David, Hu, and Teruko, so-
She comments on how scary Hu is after she interrupts David, but Rose still hasn’t contributed much in this ep- Although it was more focused on David and Xander, so that makes sense. When they talk about alibis again, Rose still doesn’t have one. Which isn’t surprising. After that, but before Levi derails the trial, Rose speaks up and mentions not having any clues and not knowing where to go from here-
But that’s all for this theory so far! uh.. I’ll probably finish it at some point- but i wanted to get it out before ep13 so- I’m so sorry to anyone who reads through this absolute rambling bullshit-
#drdt#danganronpa despair time#mage talks#drdt chapter 2#chapter 2 culprit theories!!#mage’s long as fuck ramble#rose lacroix#none of this makes sense i’m so sorry#it’s not even finished why is it long#i did not proofread this#my brain is just full of random thoughts#the VAs in ep12 were SO GOOD I AHDKAJCJAKFI#HU DAVID AND TERUKO’S VAS I LOVE YOU

2024 reads / storygraph
Outdrawn
f/f contemporary romance
two cartoonist who’ve been rivals since uni, and now have competing webcomics online, have to work together on the relaunch of a cult classic at the comic press they both work at
they both struggle with art-related physical and mental health issues, and complicated families
#outdrawn#aroaessidhe 2024 reads#sapphic books#I thought this was decent! I liked the concept (even if I got distracted by some art related things…)#and the dynamic between the characters was good. I enjoyed their relationship development broadly speaking#and the emphasis on communication; though it was a quick flip into being together all of a sudden.#The sketchbook doodle flirting was cute. Some interesting exploration of their complicated family situations too.#There’s a lot of exploration of burnout and carpal tunnel and the dangers of artists overworking which I think are important conversations#and are done with some nuance. But it’s pretty much all discussed in the context of the personal pressure they put on themselves#rather than the industry corporate greed and artificial competition created by the comic platform - which are significant in this story!#It felt odd that that connection wasn’t really ever made?#I know that this is a romance and nitpicking the background plot is beside the point and also that I am not a big romance reader#but the premise that the comic hosting site archives everything; wipes the leaderboard; and out of nowhere has a comic competition for#new weekly chapters…I’m sorry but the art world would riot. Even if people enter because they’re desperate for the cash they’d be pissed#People live off the income from their webcomics! if they were erased (temporarily) with no notice…..there would be crimes committed istg#I simply don’t believe that it would be doable to create a new weekly webcomic with no notice while you also have a full-time comic job#(especially as the only stylistic choices mentioned are full-colour) - not to mention what happened to their 8-years-running webcomics#that were archived? they don’t think about them at all after the beginning? surely they’d care about that?#And then with their new comics they make for this competition (after work I guess) we get vague snippets about them but barely anything#- if they’re consuming that much of your time I would expect to feel like they’re thinking about them all the time#rather than the vaguest discussion about genre and cast numbers only.#I guess I just think the whole comic site stunt felt unnecessary for the plot anyway -#it would have worked exactly the same if they were just competing on the normal leaderboard with their normal comics???#anyway - I’m not judging TOO hard about all that because again I know it’s not the point and maybe the industry is like that in some place#Unfortunately it was distracting enough to affect my feelings on the book tho lol.#Lastly: the audiobook………oof. The narrators talk at different speeds; for one.#And Sage’s VA does this deeply weird raspy-anime-teen-boy voice for Noah which is such an odd choice#and doesn’t match her character at all.#unforch my library only had the audiobook (what I usually prefer) so I just had to sort of….translate the narration into a normal voice lol#anyway the romance is good tho

I have an interview tomorrow at the library I practically lived in as a child, but it’s a very part time role that I - economically - cannot afford to accept.
On the other hand, I absolutely despise my current job and wish to burn the building to the ground every damn day. Mental health over financial stability battle commences🫡

#Aah I have so many thoughts concerning this episode#First of all: that I can think of Lucy really is the character that grew the most on me.#I remember I really didn't feel strongly for her the first time I watched and through the first year or so‚#even after finishing reading the manga‚ but now I really like her a lot and feel strong sympathy for her!!#Second. I remember the first time watching I found Fitzgerald's portrayal really distatsteful...#Like I get there's a whole deal of the usa's economic power having destroyed literal countries.#And Japanese people are rightfully enraged at them.#And I get there's a whole deal of cultural colonization made by the usa of half the world#That said. I don't like countries stereotypes in general no matter the country. I believe it's harmful to enable stereotypes full stop.#Moreso in bsd where a lot of it feels to me like “Our country is the best and all other countries are bad / evil / lesser”#(Again like. There IS an issue with how every single foreign character is a villain if you ask me)#(And this is coming from someone who's not from the usa nor feels particular kinship with it.#Just to clarify that I shouldn't be holding preceding bias. Again I just dislike stereotypes in general‚ the country doesn't matter)#Third I LOVE Lucy's va they're sooooo good!!!! I adore them in p/p voicing Akane–#and it's extraordinary to see them voice a villain in this episode. I love them so so much they're so good at what they do#Fourth I remember the first time watching the episode it was immensely amusing how between Akutagawa and Lucy‚#it really felt like everyone was trying to make a competition with Atsushi on who had the most miserable orphan life. Like guys‚ wtf 😂😂#Fifth another thing that bugged me MASSIVELY was Lucy's reaction to Mori like… What even is that………#Idk it's probably not a big deal and it's probably just an issue with me but.#It's just that in the context of bsd already being plenty sexist everywhere you look.#You have a female character who's evidently got the upper hand‚ in her own reign‚ with a super powerful ability–#facing a defenseless male character. And yet the male character is implied to win due to the power of his……… Frightening stare.#Like you DO get why it irks me right. One thing would have been if that was an ability he had‚#but also the way it only seems to effect Lucy… To me it really adds to a rhetoric of women being more frail / easily scared–#because it's not like Mori was ever able to use his special move: scary look™ on anyone else#So y'know :///#That's it. Atsushi and Kyouka were super cute <333#random rambles

there is nothing that brings me more rage than seeing people get severely injured by cops during peaceful protests and then seeing people be like "well we can't do anything about it" oh ok. what if i stoned you to death biblical style then.
#it's even worse when you consider i live in italy like. we had a fascist dictatorship until not even 100 years ago.#how do you not realize that it's bad. that using violence to repress rights is bad#that ignoring what our governments does and pretending that their fascist ideologies will just go away on their own is what got us into a#dictatorship in the fiest place?????#i am so full of rage i dont know how some people can just tolarate it#literally a sto punto va dalla meloni e mettiti a pecorina se proprio non te ne frega un cazzo che ce#la pigliamo nel culo se si continua così porcodio#anyway. normal rant time. crazycafinecomplain i guess#crazycaftalks

JUST watched a video about the Afton's and I really love their British accents, but I've seen people dislike it so.... I'm curious. Reblogs or comments welcomed, I really want to know people's thoughts on this!
#fnaf#five nights at freddy's#Afton#the aftons#poll#I'll be honest I love them being british it feels intimidating and makes them unique amongst all the american accents.#I'm also notoriously known for liking British voice acting over American because rarities like the amazing work for the aftons and#final fantasy 16's whole bloody cast feel much more familiar and nicer to me. Probably because the amount of american accents I hear in....#EVERYTHING feels like it's a little too much all the time.#I'm not british but maybe it's because my accent (being australian) is very close to it that I feel more connected to characters with#foreign accents rather than American. Plus I love the evil Bri'ish stereotype.#About that actually I love how Wiliam doesn't SOUND like a cliche British villain. He sounds just like any other bloke and it's terrifying.#Michael having that british accent that was well executed and full of emotion added LAYERS to his character#and ELIZABETH oh my god I can't imagine her with an american accent.#It's so weird to me that there's a chance that they're going the American accent route with the Afton's after so many years of bri'ish.#Was the yelling in the trailer (I believe) for Security Breach actually Afton talking to Vanessa or something? MF sounds like Monty#I have nothing against the new VA for William I'm just very confused and actually genuinely sad at the loss of PJ being William :')#Correct me if I am wrong and that voice ISN'T william (I could see it being spring bonnies voice instead??? kinda like how Baby is american#but I'm afraid we'll loose the british Aftons WAAA#ALSO ADDING TO THIS#It's driving me nuts who was the british lady in Matpats timeline video#WHO WAS SHE AND WHERE CAN I FIND HER VOICE AGAIN (Was it in the VR tapes?? I'M SO CONFUSED)

idc about okiayu dark still but i do like miyu irino. i want to hear how he's improved compared to his v first gig as daisuke in the new 2024 drama cd. thing is i like soichiro's daisuke too so it's hard to choose between daisuke's canon vas since neither of them sound like manga daisuke to me in my head. but just looking at them (ok well not really looking more like listening to) soichiro's daisuke having an abrasive voice compared to onosaka's is cute, but miyu's daisuke sounding like he could actually properly impersonate dark's voice if he just adjusted his pitch hrmmmmm hmmm hrmgrgmgh?????
#*・゚⊰ 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒. ⊱ ✦ › OUT.#i thought it was cute how the LNs would always describe daisuke's voice as gentle too#miyu's daisuke is pretty gentle sounding but at the same time he's whining like constantly#in a way that kind of grates on my ears#soichiro is more full freak out and he does a very good job at it#3am im distracted i havent written a single thang i wanted to#started thinking about vas instead#aourhbbakalfjlk#whoops

Anyways as a resident senior to many, I urge you to get physicals of the media you love because you don’t know if they’ll ever remove the digital version of it
#I heard sony has a big issue with this even if you paid for it#and I’m not the type who really buys digitals#tho the only thing I’d get that’s digital is probably the 90’s dub of sailor moon#and even then I’m not paying for it but torrenting it#cuz the physicals for that dub have been out of print since like 2004 and it’s by episodes and not seasons unfortunately#and idc I prefer the old dub over the redub of sailor moon#like don’t get it twisted I’m so happy they put my lesbians back where they belong but I just can’t get with the new voices for the scouts#and the funny part is I like all the vas in the new dub but I think they just don’t work together and sound too similar#I could only pick out Stephanie and Katie but the other scouts? nah man way too similar#I can barely tell who is who unlike the old dub where every single voice was so distinctive#the old dub was a godsend to the visually impaired kids like me that didn’t know I needed glasses until grade 4 :/#but yeah gonna be difficult as hell to find that old dub since the new one completely replaced it everywhere#just wish that they released dvds of each full season to make life easier for me#but at least I’ve had an aeasier time with others#even happily ever after cuz that was a Snow White movie I adored as a kid cuz I thought she was so pretty lmao
