Some days I just get so completely fed up with christians, they can't accept or even tolerate queer people or the trans community, they can't accept that women should have the right to choose, and that everyone should have space to just exist, if you don't like gay people, then don't be gay? If you don't believe in abortions then don't have one? Naturally in life someone is going to do something that you maybe don't agree with you don't have to feel like you're being attacked or something over it? Like hello?

Oppression is not a peaceful existence, you wanting to force your belief, your God and your worldview, your politics, on the rest of us is not freedom.

Like just stop! When has being more pushy more judgmental and less open-minded ever led to any kind of healthy communication between religious people and non-religious people? When has your "solution" ever actually worked in the long run?

The fact that overall the queer community is incredibly kind and gentle and welcoming and accepting was a real shock to me when I first found out about it, a part of me really did believe the Christian dogma that queer people were just the worst thing in the world, (there can definitely still be people who are just unkind no matter if they're religious or not straight or not, this is a generalization) the queer community is a really beautiful place, it's a place where the love that the Christians claim to preach is actually practiced, and that's honestly the best flex I can imagine

This is an "I make NTs and occasionally NDs uncomfortable bc I am off putting and popular media likes yo act like there's something inherently wrong with me bc of things I can't control" safe space. If you're a freak and a weirdo and off putting, I love you.
