It's really aggravating when people are like "what's an ethical substitute for shein/temu?" and then expect the places/website they're given to have the exact same prices. Like, the reason temu/shein prices are so low is because they exploit their workers. You can't pay your workers a livable wage and have prices that low. not to mention the difference in quality, as well as (was it temu or shein?) stealing smaller designers designs. Plus how bad fast fashion is for the environment. People just need to stop expecting to be able to buy like, 10 different clothing items for less than a 100 dollars.

I'm so sick of seeing Shein clothes on Vinted. The site is SATURATED like most of the clothes I see on there now are Shein. I refuse to buy Shein clothes, even second hand, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I see a cute shirt on my funky sustainable second hand site and then look down and see its Shein. I can't even explain the disgust. So done with this.
