Shinichi aka Conan and the magic thief Kaito are cousins, so they can't kiss or hold hands despite years and years of hints and sniffing each other and looking in the eyes.

Supernatural insider revealed they queer coded Dean and Castiel relationship from the begging to attract the gays and girlies, but it got too real so they even had to cool them down, and we still got queer bating somehow.

Since the whole tumblr is weeping for it's long lost lover, I decided to commemorate this day with a little note on this scene.

The thing here is the "mo" - that means "too" and is very often used contextually. We all know Yuri is a crybaby, he basically cries for sport next to skating. Knowing this, what he says here is more like: "I just though you can cry too, that's all."

Yuri is used to himself crying and Victor being the strong one and he's so taken aback by Victor being emotional that his first instinct is not "oh shit, please don't cry", but "wtf, you can cry too?" Little shit.

So... yeah, it ain't much and I will very likely be re-watching Yuri on Ice soon, so I will come up with something more interesting. Later, keep the candles burning.

Inside Out 2 took a dig at toxic work environments for animators.

(In looking at you MAPPA)

With some not-so-subtle imagery of a 'house of cards' to hint at jobs in the animation industry being unstable, empty cups of coffee trashed all over the desks to show animators being overworked and also to show bad working environments.

We also have Anxiety as the 'overbearing boss' that constantly pushes their workers to do better

I remember years ago after YOI had come out, I started looking up more MAPPA anime and suggesting them to my friends. I felt like MAPPA was doing something different with anime and their shows were beautiful and unique. I really wanted to support them. Looking back just makes looking at how far down they’ve fallen all the harder.
