Raven are you ever worries that the twst anime got cancelled? idk if it’s just me being anxious and paranoid but the yuri on ice movie was recently cancelled so my mind’s been wandering to other anime projects that are taking forever to be out out. sorry if that’s too negative, I needed some place to share.

Hey, hey! No worries, anon. I get that waiting can make people anxious 💦 (Side note, I don’t follow Yuri on Ice but hearing about the cancellation of Ice Adolescence must have been so sad for its fans 😔)

There was actually a recent interview on Yahoo News JP with Takuto Yahata, the head of Japanese animation at Disney+. He confirms that projects like the anime adaptation of Twisted Wonderland are “well underway”, so I don’t think we have anything to worry about ^^

Animation can be a years-long production (and to be fair, when the anime was first announced in October 2021 they never said it was done or mostly done—only that there were confirmed plans for an anime). The team is probably just taking its time to ensure the final product is good! Let’s be patient for its release~
