apps that used to be beginner friendly apps like ibispaint and CapCut are now making you fork over money every month to use such basic shit I swear to god

I used to use ibispaint and I used it so much that I bought the paid version of it for more perks yk. now I need to pay. MONTHY. to use the fucking lasso tool and move my lineart around. are you fucking serious?? I PAID FOR THIS APP OH MY GOD

CapCut also added a watermark in the top corner you have to pay to remove as well as if their app wasnt shitty enough

im getting so sick of all these paywalls as a society can we collectively agree to just pirate all of these apps because im getting so sick and tired of it my lord

Anyone have any advice for using capcut? Im using the free version and my free use of captions but for some reason it keeps flagging my video as PRO!!!!

I'd like to say, I am officially switching from capcut to Davinci! I am so upset that capcut is now becoming a waste land of "Pay or else" And yes, not everything is free forever, but the sheer fact that the pricing went from reasonable to 109 dollars, is outrageous! Especially for a low income artist/editor like me!, who is struggling as it is! Off to Davinci I go!!
