#frozen Oaken

A friendly, summer reminder that, first of all, Hans knows Oaken, and secondly, he is now, cannonically, a proud owner of at least one pair of trousers without legs.

And my hand itches in general direction of my pencil.

I wanna talk about this guy: (his name is Oaken)

The sauna specifically:

There's two adult looking characters in there, one presumably Oakens spouse, but you can't tell which one is his spouse.

My personal theory is that the blonde man is Oakens spouse, and the rest are his kids.

Some people would be like no the woman is very clearly an adult but he could just have an adult daughter, it's never specified how old oaken and his spouse are, and they'd have to be at least a little old having 4 kids.

Another theory I had is that the blonde man and the woman are both Oakens spouses and he's in a polyamorous relationship.

My main reason for not thinking the blonde man is his son is because the rest of his kids have the dark brown hair, which is many shades darker than Oakens potential spouse's blonde hair.

Anyway I just needed to get that out if y'all have other theories tell me

These things I wish to see in F3/F4

- Olaf entering a new phase. I saw someone suggesting an emo phase. As someone who's alternative irl, I don't usually like when subcultures are used as a joke but I find this oke could be hilarous

-Oaken, that man's iconic, give him screentime

-How the old Northuldra reconnect with the spirits and how the young Northuldra embrace them (I'm really attached to them, that's be sad and a wasted potential if they were left out)

-More of Yelena and Mattias's beef. Characters arguing like an old married couple is my fav dynamic (I want those two as friends though)

-When the plot point hit, Olaf yelled at Elsa "You said we were done with danger!" or smth similar

-Kristoff, Honeymaren and Ryder being besties, the boys can't shut up about reindeer and Honeymaren is tired of them (petition for us to start calling them 'The deer trio')

- Anna, Elsa and Kristoff having a For The First in Forever/Some Things Never Change typa song about their new lives. With Elsa being so happy and comfortable in the forest while Anna and Kristoff are quite exhausted by the leading. I like to imagine the song ending with Anna wondering how Elsa managed to do all of that while still looking good

- More Agduna frozen memories

- The trolls and Arendelle's dignitaries arguing over rather their wedding should be celebrated in trolls' or Arendelle's traditions/Their wedding being a mix of both

-To know how the fuck was/were the fifth spirits before the sisters

-What exact roles Elsa and Anna have as the fifth spirit (yes Anna bc they did mention they are a bridge, Elsa isn't alone on that)

- The Earth giants playing with Bruni and children

- SPRING SETTING

- Elsa and Honeymaren interacting. I'm not necessary asking for their canonization. This ship is my hyperfixation but I don't place my expectations too high. So if we can at least have new material for fanarts and fanfictions, I'd be glad because I am STARVING

- Honeymaren's abs (of course I was gonna bring them up)

In case anyone wondered, yeah, all the most recognizable Frozen characters are in the final group photo, even Hans that many thought was excluded just because Elsa jokingly froze him in the picture.

So, to all the fellow Hans fans out there: calm yourself, take a deep breath and accept that Hans getting joked about is still a way to take him into account because, at least, the protagonists can express their disdain for him, which is totaly fare.

I admit that I still can't quite accept that Ryder and Oaken are straight. The first one tried to flirt with Elsa and the second one has a wife and kids.

It was predictable that there would never be anything LGBT with Ryder since he was a tribute to Chris Buck's late son, but was it really necessary to confirm that he was straight (or at least interested in women)? And that's still from a mobile game.

Oaken is even worse since, unlike Ryder, he is a very recurring character in the Frozenverse, with an interview with Jennifer Lee even being quite ambiguous about his sexual orientation. And after all these years, a book is released focusing on Kristoff's childhood and Oaken, who during all these years never officially had anything other than a large family of relatives, now has a wife and kids. And if this scene in "Frozen 1" is of his wife with his kids, they'll have to remove one child from the photo and the blond guy because he only has one couple of kids.

Trying to get something good from both of them:

At the same time that Ryder's interest is confirmed, it also confirms Honeymaren's interest in the Snow Queen (and Ryder became a supporter of ElsaMaren later, with Honeymaren proving herself to be a useless lesbian, lol).

Oaken being gay would be a huge stereotype... The stereotypical character not being gay is still positive, when if you exclude him, the gay rate drops to zero? Even in the Frozenverse, this has become a bit of a joke, since canonically there are only lesbian characters in the franchise. The couple that could be gay has been dead for centuries, and the other possible one, we don't even know the gender, which means they could very well be straight.

But the worst part is that in both cases I doubt anything will come back in "Frozen 3":

If Ryder has a big role, it will only be as Kristoff's friend and something related to reindeer.

Oaken? In "Frozen 2" he doesn't even have any lines, so if you don't remember the character from "Frozen 1", you'll think he's just another random NPC, lol

My blog is the place for Disney Frozen and a lot of attention for Agnarr and Iduna. Of course, this is where I mostly post my Frozen photo edits, gif edits but also Frozen videos edits and Frozen/Agduna merchandise and toys videos + posts ❄️. At this moment, my blog is not even a month old. I also made a pinned post before this a few weeks ago, but it was not really clear and now I have also made new decisions and updates.
