Hi. I don't know how to start letters, I've never written one before, I'm not sure you're worth this effort.

And that was a joke. Obviously. You're worth it, you're Etho.

Which is the main problem. You're you, and you're great and I miss you because of it and it sucks because I don't know if you miss me. And y'know I tried, really tried to feel like we were on equal footing, but you're Etho. You're so amazing, a "pioneer" of redstone and not exactly a bad builder either.

Did you think at all about the way people reacted when they found out we were soulmates? Did you think about how they felt bad for you? How they compared us, did you see the way they looked at me?

Because I did, and I still do.

And it makes me feel sick, and pathetic and small.

Would you have rathered been with BDubs? I think everyone expected you two to be a duo, sorry for fucking that up I guess. Glad we we still allied with him and Imp, obviously, but, I don't think you know what it's like seeing your soulmate so close to someone else. We both know I'm not a people person, we both know that if something wedged between us you could freely run to your real friends and I'd be alone, again.

Also, I miss the Relation. I miss the way the wood felt, I miss the way the sails looked in the early mornings, I miss getting to see you first thing because gods, you're Etho.

one thing about Joel Smallishbeans is that he's always giggling. I think most people overlook this in the fandom because most of the time his delivery is just so deadpan and sarcastic, but its when he's doing a bit with another person you can always hear him loudly giggling in between sentences trying not to break character. He is ESPECIALLY prone to doing this with Etho. Its so damn cute it makes me insane and I think more people deserve to notice this!!
