now is a great time to remind all of us of how noble a hero percy jackson is. because he refused to harm the demigods who fought beside luke. as much as he hated the fighting them, he understood why the were fighting. he recognized the gods failed them too. and to not acknowledge that in the aftermath of the war would be disingenuous to the lives lost on either side. and not only that. but he was the only demigod brave enough to tell gods how it is when they offered him immortality. he told the gods to their face that their faults in leadership and parenthood are what lead to their near demise. that they must swallow their pride and nurture the things they create, or the threat of a revolt will follow them. and his ass used his gods-given wish to make them promise to give their children a fair chance at a better life. no one was doing it like him. happy birthday, man.

Have you ever had a good think about the fact that Jason woke up in a school bus with a pretty girlfriend, a best friend and protector had a brief altercation on a bridge and then was taken to camp — whereas Percy woke up in the wilderness being attacked by monsters stumbles into a fortress then when he wakes up there’s a wolf saying only the strong survive trains with wolfs for a bunch of months finally he leaves them - and then he gets chased across America killing a bunch of these monsters and chokes one of them out with his bare hands when his sword got flung away I’d like to say — Hera did him dirty

I have the urge to write again.

The editor doubter is loud in my ear.

A heavy touch ripping away commas, words, and thoughts.

It’s been years of her

snapping up my words.

She wants stand up straight

and spell it correctly.

No made up words.

No sentences that start with. And

I was slow to learn.

Letters and numbers mixed up and bumbling over ahead several words ahead.

I was told I couldn’t write.

Don’t even try.

Don’t do it that way.

Do not do it this way.

He said, she shouts, they whisper.

Be more creative, more descriptive.

Write what you know.

I know I moved on, I let the editor doubter go.

Looked past the carefully chosen words from the thesaurus to describe:

Stupid.

Foolish.

10th grade English class, standing taller than me. Dark hair. Angry. Telling me to stop,

I love MU so so much I think in part because he reminds of a younger Yeo Sang. New Atiny see this very sexy, confident and strong man. Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.

All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
