Fresh Pair of Eyes - New Niche

Recently, I’ve been thinking hard about my so-called niche. What exactly do I want my blog to showcase? I feel, that so far, my blog has been all over the charts – mixture of journalism, daily life moments, and music. It doesn’t look complete and I know it.

Now I do have an angle I want to pursue, and it really might just kill this blog, or maybe I’ll gain a small group of virtual friends who are interested in what I do/write about…wow mumble jumble. ANYWAY, back on track here, I’m going to start frequently posting my assignments (also known as articles), I write in my journalism classes.

Maybe this will give insight to those who are curious about journalism and how one actually learns in j-school. Or maybe I inspire someone out there to pursue journalism as a career! (yay, for motivation!)

Here and there, little lifestyle posts will pop-up but they’ll be supplementary to what really matters to me – documenting the art (yes, writing is a form of art), that has really boosted life up for me.

So that’s it, a fresh new niche to my blogging journey and even though my blog is new, its slightly bewildering to have a mid-life blogger’s crisis so early on in my journey… well you know what they say, when life gives you lemons (fill in your blank space – you are what you make yourself out to be).

Fresh Pair of Eyes: Birth of Dylan Jace

It was 2 long days for us but it was all worth it once Dylan came out especially for his mom, Jhoielle. This is the journey of her and her husband, Daniel, to parenthood. Watch as you witness God's everyday miracle, child birth.

Special thanks to Armadale Hospital, Dr. White and the registered midwifes that allowed us to capture this beautiful moment. And to Anne Bugarin for arranging everything.

A lot of the shots were handheld but I was also able to get the time to use up stabilising equipments. As a filmmaker, this is such a great experience. Thank you Jojo and Dani for allowing me and trusting in me.

Live for the Sounds
