I think the worst thing about having very vague/spotty memories because I was so young when it happened is feeling like I can’t ever fully accept that it DID happen. I will always second guess myself—even though the evidence is always with me (the body keeps the score, as they say). I will probably never tell anyone who knows him about it because what if I’m wrong?? What if I’m making up these flashes of “memory”, and seeing “signs” in my present self where there are none just because I want an easy answer that would explain the way that I am???

It would be such a horrible thing to accuse someone of if it wasn’t true. Especially family. Even just thinking it feels cruel and unfair to him sometimes. And there’s no way for me to get the truth unless he were to confess it to me himself.

I fantasize about that sometimes—I like to picture him apologizing to me at some kind of reunion, scared out of his mind that I’ll tell someone about it and ruin his life. Or even unapologetic, making jokes about it. At least then I would have confirmation. At least then I would have validation for the last twenty years of my life.

Election denial organization True the Vote has launched a new app ahead of the 2024 election for users “to quickly report problems at the polls" and “document and report instances of suspected election fraud.” Wired's David Gilbert described the app as a “one-stop shop for all your election conspiracy needs, featuring a scrollable feed of the latest voting-related alerts, the ability to report your own claims, and even, apparently, a 24/7 hotline.” During a September 12 stream on social media, True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht claimed that users can “put in a problem” into the app, and “if it is something that's going down at the polls” then True the Vote might “contact the county and let them know,” or “engage law enforcement,” including sheriffs they are apparently “working with.” Engelbrecht has also said during recent media appearances that True the Vote is aiming to work with sheriffs during the 2024 election to monitor ballot drop boxes, with the group apparently reaching out to sheriffs to try to give them “camera equipment” — which sheriffs can use for such monitoring and True the Vote can also use for “24/7 streaming video … for anyone who wants to see it.”

Just finished playing Floor 12 of Arcana Twilight and OH MY GOD

So first of all, MC is Polaris???? WTF??? Ok, reincarnation is pretty par for the course in otome games (Ayakashi: Romance Reborn, Blood Moon Calling, Obey Me!, etc), so I probably should have seen this coming.

I'll admit, I took this reveal better than other ones *cough*Obey Me!*cough*, but it's still pretty jarring. I wish there was an option to agree with Vega on sealing Polaris' mana, but at least some dialogue options let you be reluctant (?) about it. It's so tiring though, like why does my MC have to be somebody else? Why can't they just be a self insert? I just want to be loved as I am, bro. Anyway, I'm curious to see how they'll handle it going forward. Hopefully it won't be so bad that I have to create a whole separate timeline just so my MC can exist like I did in OM! , but we'll see how it goes.

Secondly WHAT IS UP WITH ARCKY??? Why are the Void Sorcers (?) calling to him? He was like possesed or smt??? YOU LEAVE MY BABY BOY ALONE YOU BASTARDS. This was a very intense Floor for us Arcturus/Pollux/Vega lovers. However it is perfect for playing out new hurt/comfort scenerarios in my head before sleep, so... silver linings

Also, I'm very excited that Sirius seems to be "turning good", so to speak. Yes, he always had good-ish intentions, but man his methods suck. Looking forward to Floor 13, I wanna see what he gets up to. I never cared much for him, but he was more tolerable in F12.

On a more lighthearted note, I love that one of the dialogue options was "I'm inherently sparkly" that actually made me laugh, lol

Please, if you recognize the video and can tell me who is the oroginal creator, I would be glad. Feel free to report this to him/her/them. They need to know some shady Corp is using their content to scam and fraud people. This is both intellectual property right violation than false advertisement.

Bot, legit person, scammer, it doesn't matter to me. The unfortunate fact of the matter is that I don't know what you are and there are far too many scams for me to give money online. I don't have time or desire to go through someone's profile to see if they're legit whenever I see someone asking for money. I have seen some people on here who I consider friends making posts begging for money and I still don't open my wallet for this reason.
