I want to write about you,
but I'm afraid this feeling can't be sculpted into inked poetry. You are so incomparable that not even the beauty of the simplest things can outshine you. I could list all the alluring words I know, yet they would spill from my notes, unable to fill your visuals. "Too good to be true," now I finally understand what that means.
Will you kiss me again? I had to be sure.

You listen and you know you could live a better life than you do, be softer, kinder. And maybe this year you will be able to do it.

Coffee is the sound of taste, a sound for the aroma. It is a meditation and a plunge into memories and the soul.
(from Mahmoud Darwish's Memory for Forgetfulness)
Tumblr media
Coffee should not be drunk in a hurry. It is the sister of time, and should be sipped slowly, slowly.
(from Mahmoud Darwish's Memory for Forgetfulness)

I only believe in the easy things,
like red lipstick and coffee before noon and writing essays in pen.
(from Kristina Haynes, Self-Portrait at Twenty-One)

They can aim sea, sky, and earth at me, but they cannot root the aroma of coffee out of me.
(from Mahmoud Darwish's Memory for Forgetfulness)

I think we all speak a different kind of language than each other,
but you sound a whole lot like coffee on a Sunday morning and the rain is falling bitter against the windowpane.
(from Shinji Moon's He Loves the Rain)
Tumblr media
You give me an apartment full of morning smells-
toasted bagel and black coffee and the freckled lilies in the vase on the windowsill.
(from Rebecca Lindenberg's Catalogue of Ephemera)

Loving you has awakened parts of my soul that I never knew existed and it's in this love that I find my identity and my worth.
I have found my purpose and a calling to be more than just a woman.
You were born for me and my heart only lies in existence to become one with you in every possible way.

maybe if I start to see you as my first love, I could stop seeing you as my only love.

A scar reminding of a story
Grief is the only proof that I love and I love well. Love and grief are actually intertwined with each other and as "Akif Kichloo" once wrote, "the opposite of grief is not laughter or happiness or joy. It is love. It is love. It is love."

I'm busy..
But not in the way most people accept ..
I'm busy calming my fear..
I'm busy overcoming my anxiety...
I'm busy finding a reason to smile..

I yearn for a hug—
no, I would lose my mind if I couldn't be wrapped in two wobbly arms and shielded by a breathing chest. I crave a hug so tight that it would break my spine, so warm that it would melt my skin—a hug that would bring me to the brink of death and then put my soul back to the plane where it belongs. I am so much more, yet I am trapped in this rotting flesh, full of thick hunger for fleeting things.
I want to leave this body.
I want to leave.
Let me leave.
Please.

Las llamas arranzan con todo lo que se acerca, y se quema contigo.
Porque si todo el mundo espera que ardas en llamas porque molestarse en conseguir un extintor?

hey so do you ever think about how the Lapis on Lapises Battle in "Why So Blue" was clearly meant as foreshadowing for "Fragments"??? And that Lapis *directly says* that the reason why she was lashing out at the Lapises was because

thought you might like to know that your "I can fix me. Gotta do everything by my fucking self around here." post is in my qoute collection in my journal right between e.e. cummings and voltaire. isn't it crazy how a fragment of a thought can take on meaning for someone else? humanity, connection, etc.
lol, cummings
