Evaluation of Project : W A S T E
The development of my project : WASTE has come a long way from what it began to be. More specifically, within my project, I have analysed the compositions, appearances, textures, hues, tones, colours and environments of waste. I have particularly focused on the relationship between waste and its surroundings by recording the patterns, shape, structures and textures of my samples by using primary, secondary and artist research.
Key artists such as Nigel Bird, Nick Butcher & Nadine Nakanishi, Kurt Schwitters and Adam Pritchett have developed my understanding and knowledge within this project by enforcing different uses of the same method and experimenting with a variety of methods. With the help of my artists infusing further inspiration along with my style of artwork, this project has transformed my knowledge of the extensive work that is needed to create a project.

So far, this is the most engaging sample that I have created. It creates a blend of all my current artists's work along with my own primary images, drawings, prints, weaving, embroidery, paintings, mark making and embellishments.

BMAG - Leonardo Da Vinci
The foundation group were given the privilege to go and visit the Da Vinci exhibition before the museum opened to the general public, so that we could be at one with the art. Jonathan Sleigh from the museum gave us an insight into the life of Da Vinci and spoke about some of the pieces he admired from the collection; that was made up of 12 pieces, taken from the royal collection which show a reflection of Da vincis interests. Jonathan said that he believes that Bmag had some of Da Vinci’s best work.
Da Vinci to me was an absolute mastermind of his trade, in terms of how precise and perfect his work was. It is said that Da Vinci could have come under the autistic spectrum as he had a strange obsession with getting things right and to scale and paid very close attention to detail. I took a few pictures of he some of the pieces that stood out to me, but I don’t believe my camera done any justice as you can’t really see any of the intricate detail.
I was fascinated with the fact that Da Vinci was an anatomist who would dissect human corpses and make a record of what he seen through his art. He would spend so much time with the body parts, that they would decompose. Some could argue that this step was unnecessary or even jarring but I guess if you want to get a full understanding or picture of something then why not. Someone has to do it.
All in all, I found the exhibition really interesting and it was cool to see how creative you can be with basic drawing materials. The exhibition has really inspired me to practice drawing more as I’ve neglected my drawing materials.

Went on a little snowy Sunday photography mission around forty hall. I couldn’t feel my fingers after 10 minutes but i’m hoping it was worth it. Now time to crank up Photoshop and get editing, I’m planning to create collages from the successful images...
it was so cold i ran back to my car after half an hour

“TOO CUTE” CARNIVAL
I, along with a few others were invited along to attend the ‘Too Cute 'carnival that happened at the Birmingham museum and Art Gallery (BMAG), which was to mark the end of the Arts council collection national partnership.
The night was filled with an interesting selection of entertainment for guests to enjoy as well as light refreshments and a positive, social atmosphere.
During the event, we were able to see our art work as they were paraded around the exhibition area by members of the public. I was filled with a sense of pride, as I observed numerous people indulge and compliment the onesies that I had created. I asked one lady if I could take a picture of her in one of the onesies as she had walked past me several times in one. She joked and said that I could for a 10a in which I responded that ‘I was the person behind the design and making. She was eager to get me in the photo with her and I felt really honoured and humbled, to have work of mine appreciated. This particular lady kept this onesie on for the entire event because she loved it so much.
We also got a chance to hear from Maclean herself, as she spoke about her creative background and her initial approach to the project. I left the event feeling really inspired and positive and hope that one day I’ll be given the same opportunity to have an exhibition of my own.
Above are a few pictures from the event.

#modeldrawing can be a little overwhelming at first— there are a lot of “moving parts”— but what could be more fluid and lively than a human form?? We use leotard and swimwear figures in the course so you can really hone in on the mechanics of the body as a body but also as a design ... a form , balanced on the page- standing solid on their feet, balanced and dynamic, .... popping off the page as we explore the range of line quality. We get a handle on capturing the real proportion we see before us. #diversity #bodypositivity and love of people leads the eay. We get intuitive and playful to ta into our flow and make unexpected discoveries.... in a space that feels safe and invites curiosity to try new things. A@strong foundation in self- Discovery through exercises like this is how you develop and find your personal voice and the thrill of tapping into this magic feeling of full on insporation wheneber you want to. And of COURSE, we work with MUSIC to energize all of the work. 15 exercises dripped out weekly so you can grow every week along the way. Classes start tomorrow and the early bonus course Video bundle FASHION DESIGN INFUSION ends midnight tomorrow.#figuredrawing #fashiondrawing #fashionillustration #gesturedrawing #fashionsketch #fashionsketching #art #drawing #foundationyear https://www.instagram.com/p/CEIy_lzAk1l/?igshid=1iwdd7l443lmn

Self Portrait Reflection - 02.10.2017
My self portrait.
My drawing might be boring and not creative for many people, as it has nothing what could amaze them. But for me, it is the best self- portrait which I could ever make.
On my illustration I have drown:
☁ left hand - it is symbol of being left handed. However, I can say that it is symbol of being unique, as not many people write by left hand.
☁  my signature - no one else has same signature as me
☁  polish flag - white and red colours present my nationality. I have drown that flag as a symbol of my family, as they live in Poland
☁ geometric triangles - it is symbol of my course which I will start next year (Graphic Design)
What is the work?
It is drawing.
Can you give it a title?
My self - postcard
Who influenced you?
My mum influenced me. I was doing my task while speaking to her on the camera. Then we spoke about my project and she gave me few ideas to create my work.  Where did you research?
I didn’t research. I decided to use my imagination to create my self portrait.  Why did you use this technique for this mini project?
In my opinion drawing is the easiest technique for me. I feel really comfortable using pencils and highlighters.
What have you learnt about myself?
I understood that whole my life I was creative person but i was not confident enough to show my work for other people.  What did you find challenging?
I think drawing other person by one line was really challenging for me. However, creating a 3D object was the hardest task for me, so I hope i will improve my capacities in the next mini projects. What might you do differently next time?
Next time, I will try to use different techniques to make each work more unique and creative. However, I will put more pressure on my mini projects, to make them look really gorgeous.
