I'm sorry but I'm just so angry, we really do need to include black people in queer art there is no queer history without black people I'm tired of barely seeing any black coded characters on this site. Being queer is not a white thing but it feels like it's the default on this website.

One thing that pisses me off about "Poor Tim, abused by Batman!" stuff is that while Bruce definitely gets up to some fuckery as you said.
If one wanted a Robin/student who was intentionally and actively mistreated and put in horrid situation on purpose by him the best choice would be Stephanie.
Yeah this is something that bothers me alot about the sad little Tim stories or when people in general try and say Tims the most forgotten robin it's like first off bitch where are you looking and secondly Stephanie Brown will always always hold the title for worst off robin until Tim is regularly left out of both official and even fan made art that's meant to depict all the robins I'm sorry but he's fine

the idea came to me in a migraine induced dream but now im obsessed with the concept of a mu qingfang who knew the abuse bunhe was going through at the hands of og!shen qingqiu/shen jiu and did his best to treat the kid whenever he could (and bring his concerns to zhangmen shixiong, which were obviously very much ignored) and his constant worry over the situation means that when the qi deviation happens he is suspicious of shen qingqiu’s changes for all different reasons and very much protective of luo binghe -who is a sweet child and an earnest disciple who seems to always find the most incredible medicinal herbs to bring to his mu shishu as thanks for the care bestowed upon him- which means that when the whole shen qingqiu dying thing happens instead of bad mouthing luo binghe or fighting him at every chance he does his best to come over and keep an eye on things to try and help him and make sure luo binghe won’t kill himself trying to bring shen qingqiu back because he remembers that earnest kid and he’s witnessed luo binghe’s devotion to this shen qingqiu first hand and knows there is no way that the kid who cried when ning yingying found a bird with a broken wing and begged mu qingfang to fix it and the kid that would always borrow medical texts and try to find new herb combinations as if it was a game between him and qian cao disciples is actually doing anything nefarious to shen qingqiu’s corpse.
anyways in this essay i will-

I don't know why I perceive so much beauty in these corners. Am I the only one?
Maybe the stories behind. Maybe the past. Maybe the chaos.
Maybe i'm mad .

I've been thinking a lot about hws Sealand. I don't usually concern myself with the micro-nations, but I think his identity as an old ww2 sea fort and ultimately nothing more makes him a really beautifully tragic character.
A boy bred and born for war, made to die but now a self-proclaimed nation. He barely has a population, he's still ruled by the laws and legislation of Arthur, there's no future or growth for him.
So he'll stay as a boy. A violent boy: he spends his days watching war films, playing shooter games; sitting and waiting, no interest beyond his original purpose. He cares not for music or literature, a bit of a barbarian with his bare feet, uncut hair, black fingernails.
Rebellious in his eternal youthfulness, he's dirty and brutal and apathetic. But not with Arthur, oh no never to Arthur. An abandoned English military fort, as much of Arthur as he is himself, he remains completely obedient. They play chess, needlework together, he pulls the weeds Arthur points out to him.
An image of domestic bliss and paternalism. Except the boy never ages, never concerns himself with much beyond shooting badgers and chasing cats. And Arthur, as neglectful as ever, doesn't mind the messy shadow living in his house - the trail of muddy footprints, the dead animals in the garden, the occasional mug left out.
The one young nation who stays with him, who doesn't resist or retaliate - and its him. its him a thousand years ago, lonely and barbaric thing he was. it must be torture for him, for his ex-colonies, to watch the boy go so neglected and stay so young.
