Great time to remember that, in the books, Percy didn’t actually come to understand just how terrible the gods are (as a whole) until The Last Olympian. And he didn’t start to get bitter as hell about it until even after that. The show is doing a great job of setting this up, in my opinion.

Originally Eclair's design had freckles on her face, but with the way her hair frames her face, the glasses and the constant blushing, they always ended up either getting lost or looking too busy.

I've kept the hip freckles though. I just think they're neat.

As an ex-evangelical and current Christo-Pagan witch, I have so many thoughts on this statement already but I’m not going to wax theological unless explicitly asked.

“…matter, energy, radiation—all of them utterly dwarfed by their dark counterparts. …if the fundamental building blocks are so predominantly the dark parts, is it not the light-twisted versions of them that are the deviation, the pale reflection? Perhaps it should be matter and light matter.”

Johnny Sims really hitting hard with this theology shit and yet he isn’t wrong or opinionated on this aspect. This is reflected in science.

And again, science and string-theory, theory of the multiverse is what I’m drawing on in my series where Jon still dreams of people and visits them, but he can’t visit anybody in his own world via dreams. He lost that ability when he lost his eyes.

He visits other versions—multiverse versions. And as for his multiversal selves—he can body swap with them. Does this cause chaos for everyone involved? Yes. Does this make things fun? Yes. Will he swap with Spiral and Hunt versions of himself? Yes. Will he swap with the Slaughter version of himself? Yes. And Gerry will want to gag the fucker so he can stop inciting violence by just talking.

I think, out of all the statements I have read thus far, this is my favorite from a theological standpoint. I adored the anatomy students and the garbage pick-up statements, but this is so deep.

That’s what I love about this podcast—how deep and hard hitting things can get.
