Ford to tap Daniel Ricciardo connection in the future
Australian Formula One ace Daniel Ricciardo – who is taking a year away from racing as he returns to Red Bull in a support role after a dismal two years at the struggling McLaren outfit – could put his name to future Ford Performance models.
Ford recently signed on as Red Bull Racing's engine supplier from 2026, but the two entities have already begun flaunting their new partnership.
Ricciardo last week helped Ford announce the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV is coming to Australia, in the lead-up to last weekend's F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Now Ford executives are looking at ways to further leverage the new relationship.
"We love Dan, I think he brings something to the brand," a spokesperson for Ford Australia told media at the Mustang Mach-E event.
"So just like today, we'll be using him as we think is appropriate."
Representatives for Ford Australia didn't say whether the company was working on a Ricciardo special edition vehicle, however Ricciardo is known to be a big fan of his Ford F-150 Raptor pick-up, which he keeps at his home in California.
"I actually bought the Raptor before I bought a house [there]," he told US website The Drive in February 2023.
"Since I was young I loved them. We couldn't get the Raptors in Australia and me and my friends just love utes and trucks and hoped one day we could get one."
While the Red Bull Racing reserve driver is best known for cutting laps in Formula One cars, Ford could exploit its partnership with the team to create a special edition vehicle with Daniel Ricciardo's name on it.
"It's great because it's a strategic, technical relationship and partnership between Ford and Red Bull," Ford Australia boss Andrew Birkic told media last week.
"He's just so personable – we were chatting in the car like he was one of my mates. Very personable, very approachable. And we're thrilled that he could spend some time with us."

The Ford Bronco Raptor is the beast of the offroad machine we have all been waiting for since the 6th generation Bronco was reintroduced. With its 418hp 3.0L twin turbo Ecoboost engine, this is screaming to be touched and unleash its hidden potential. With an entire line of Plug and Play tuning box kits available for turbocharged cars, trucks, and SUVs, one of VR Tuned most successful sales product has been for the Ford Bronco 2.7L Ecoboost. Well now its time for the Bronco Raptor 3.0L Ecoboost to choice in with the gains!
Being lucky enough to have the Ford Bronco Raptor here at Vivid Racing, we were able to strap this thing down to our Mustang Dyno and see what it made stock. Once we got our baseline test of around 334 rear wheel horsepower, we could start the development of the tuning box map. The tuning boxes are universal and get preprogrammed to the customers vehicle before they are shipped. And the harness for the Ford Bronco Raptor is one already available as its used in the Bronco 2.7L as well as the Ford F-150 3.5L Ecoboost engine. Connecting the harness to the Manifold Pressure and Boost Pressure sensor is all it takes to bring this live. The sensors are very easy to access with one being right in front of the throttle body and the other just under the intake tube that goes across the top of the engine. With a 10mm socket just remove a metal bracket to gain access to this sensor.
Utilizing our logging device we were able to test different settings of some base maps that are then preset for the tuning box to be in a safe range for 91-93 octane. Once we were happy with the tweaks made, we were able to complete our after runs to compare to our baseline test. Using setting 6 on the tuning box which is preferred, we saw some pretty strong gains throughout the entire midrange. Both horsepower and torque picked up about 50 to the wheels (70-80 to the crank). Power can be measured to the crank which is standard HP or to the wheels which is RWHP. Dyno graphs will show RWHP. So when Ford says the vehicle makes 418HP, in actuality, on our Mustang Dyno with 91octane and our warm ambient temperature of 90F here in Arizona, we saw about a 20% drivetrain loss giving 334rwhp. But with the tuning box we achieved about 380rwhp. That puts this Bronco Raptor at 480HP to the crank!
The tuning box found a neat home to be mounted right behind the passenger side intake box. Because this is a plug and play device, it can easily be removed for major warranty purposes should you choose to do so. There is not trace or record to the ECU since we are not altering the ECU parameters directly. The best part is the entire kit is Bluetooth operated via an IOS or Android app.

Am I going to nerd out over what truck Jasper drives?
YES
Jasper truck is a 14 year model F-150 XLT 4x4 that has been leveled, never lifted. With the smaller 3.5L engine that comes turbo which is perfectly fine for the mountain air.
Added spray-in bed-liner with bed step. The truck is the extended cab. Bought originally with the factory 4-inch screen and normal dash he has thrown money at it to upgrade it to almost what Ford runs now in their trucks. Fully digital dash and 10-inch infotainment system.
The 4x4 system of course has High and Low with Electric locking differential, however he had the Auto 4x4 system added(basically he doesn’t have to touch the dial). The suspension had been redone with the Raptor’s fox racing springs.
Remote start, power mirror with power folding. Rear camera and front camera. Dash cam installed. All windows have been tinted with the rear almost being completely black.
He runs 88 grade which does just fine, averaging 18-20 MPG on flat ground. 36 gallon tank thanks to the off-road package which the railroad paid to be added to the truck as he also uses it as his personal work truck.
His truck kind of sticks out thanks to how fucking clean he keeps it on the outside, which a few stickers on the back glass. Tool box on the bed side containing straps, different fluids, some things for the railroad.

El piloto estadounidense Bryce Menzies continúa su seguidilla de excelentes resultados en el campeonato Score International al quedarse con el triunfo en la sesión de clasificación de la Baja 400 de este fin de semana. La carrera se disputará en Ensenada, Baja California, México. Menzies ganó por apretado margen sobre Luke McMillin: Solo 51 milésimas de segundo los separaron después del recorrido de 5,37 millas. Tercero fue Robby Gordon.
Menzies se anota así una buena ventaja para la carrera del sábado 18, ya que tendrá la posición de pista ideal para liderar desde el principio la carrera de 400 millas que además es muy importante porque ordena la grilla para la Baja 1000 más adelante en el año, el gran premio de Score International.
Robby Gordon se lamentó de varios errores que le costaron valiosos segundos y la oportunidad de quedarse en la pole position. El ex piloto de IndyCar y NASCAR cometió un error con las marchas que lo desconcentró y luego tuvo salidas de pista en varias curvas intentando recuperar para terminar a 8 segundos del ganador Menzies.
Jonathan Brenthel y Rob MacCachren completaron el Top 5.

i heave and open up his facebook profile. i’m not gonna do anything… i just wanna have another look.
“huh?”
hold on a sec, did he block me?
i retype his name in the search bar, but a bunch of other people with the same name pops up.

was it because i was snooping as deep as 2005? it’s not like i could help it! can’t believe this fucker. the audacity to have me, his wife, blocked. then why, all of a sudden, am i more attracted to him? what is wrong with me?!?!?!?
anyways, as if i care, i’ll just make another account, ha.
*ding.*
a blue box has popped up on the top right corner of my 13” laptop screen.
my heart stops.
opening it, it reads:

how does he know where i live? moreover, he’s already using the phrase ‘we need to talk’?? there’s only one way to find out what we so desperately need to talk about {even though a sad part of me kinda knows already, ugh}.
i throw on a random hoody and silently run down the stairs. i slide my feet inside the ugg boots and take a peep through the living room to the kitchen. mum and dad are both lost in conversation, tidying up from dinner. perfect.
i quietly leave and spot the shiny red suv quite a while away. the evening’s chill wears down on me. with one hand, i hold down my hood, and with the other, i hug myself. i jog to the sycamore tree, why is this so embarrassing? he’s so watching me in his side mirrors.
when i get close enough, i see him reach over and open the passenger seat door in advance.
i hop in.
“rosé.”
i face him.
he scratches his head, apprehensive. for once, his hair is messy instead of perfectly slicked back. the way it’s parted in the middle with the choppy strands landing equally on both sides, and how the ends of the strands closest to his face curve slightly inwards. gah, it’s so cute and so 90’s.
then, “is that mine?” he glances down.
i follow his line of sight and discern that i grabbed his hoody, not mine. “oh shi..yeah, it is. i’m sorry.” i get ready to take it off.
“no, please don’t apologise. looks good on you, keep it.”
my heart.
“and,” he clears his throat, “your clothes from last night, they’re in the back.”
“right. thanks.”
“sorry couldn’t contact you sooner...had a bunch of assignments that needed marking.”
still waiting for the elephant in the room to be addressed.
“you know what happens now, right?”
there it is.
i sigh, pissed. “really?”
“i have work tomorrow and you have school.”
“thanks for reminding me,” i glance out my window.
“rosé,” he lays his hand on my shoulder.
i look at his hand, then at him. it gets awkward, so he quickly removes his hand before speaking again.
“i’m twice your age.”
“that didn’t stop you last night, did it?”
he blinks, shooked. “you’re right, it didn’t, but you’re still too young and it’s still not right.”
“young, yes. minor, no.”
“rosé, fraternising with a professor is against the school’s policy.”
“fucking isn’t fraternising, sir.”
he stares at me like i’m that kid that never learned to not talk back. “my point being ~ it’s worse.”
“so, you regret it then?”
“more like i can’t stop thinking about it.”
*silence.*
was he meant to say that?
he shakes his head like he’s trying to get the right thoughts to stay. “i..we shouldn’t have done what we did. it was unprofessional on my behalf and i guess rash on yours.”
‘rash’, yeah right. “i won’t tell anyone if that’s what you’re worried about.”
“that’s not what i’m worried about, i trust you. i don’t trust myself.”
i frown for more elaboration.
he continues but with more bluntness now, “how the fuck am i supposed to teach my class and imagine you as my student at the same time?”
i smile on the inside, guess he’s fucked up as much as i am about this. “then don’t imagine me as your student,” i offer.
“rather want me to imagine you all naked then?” he looks at me with an entertained expression. “is that it?”
“if you can handle it,” i raise my eyebrows.
“if i can.. jesus chr..” he chuckles, shaking his head.
did he just figure out i’m too much for him?
“i can handle it,” he answers in a conceited tone.
we’ll see about this. i grip his shoulder for balance and step over. sitting on top of him, i bring my hand into the hole between us. my fingers fondle around for a minute. he tries to hold a straight face, ‘cept i can already feel him getting hard through his khakis.
“can you handle it now, sir?”
he leans into my face, “fuck you.”
now that’s starting to become a thing. instead of ‘always’ or ‘forever’, ours is ‘fuck you’. great. how cute.
“hey,” i take pretend offense, “you can’t talk to your student like that.”
“i will destroy you, rosé blackburn,” he adds succinctly.
i was just about to destroy him when i notice a 2017 ford f~150 raptor supercrew heading our way. from the hollering, i can make out exactly who it is. even without that cue, i’d know it’s him because, at school, he kept bragging on for a full month about how his dad let him borrow his pickup truck turned desert racing machine. who the fuck cares?
“fuck! oh my god!” i slouch my body into sir. “they’ll see us!”
“relax, my windows are tinted.”
“it’s fucking theo..!” i hiss.
his huge black raptor drives past us, music blaring with theo and his friends shouting like a wild pack of wolves.
🎶it don’t matter, be combative or be sweet cherry pie it don’t matter just as long as i get all you tonight
i don’t know what they are listening to, but they are drunk out of their minds from the way they are singing the lyrics. so reckless.
“you see what i mean?” sir clearly makes his point as i slowly bring my head back up to eye level with him.
and then tries to say something else, but i shove my lips right against his.
he pulls away for a sec, “you can’t leave like that again. i would have made you breakfast.”

En estos tiempos en que la gente se está acostumbrando a convivir en espacios reducidos debido a la sobrepoblación de las grandes urbes, se han dejado de ofrecer vehículos de grandes dimensiones. Ford omitió esa tendencia y se dedicó a realizar un vehículo que, además de sus sobresalientes prestaciones mecánicas, nos ofrece un enorme espacio interior, confort inigualable y la sensación de imponerse ante cualquier camino. Estamos hablando de la Ford F-150 Raptor.

Esta pickup que Ford Performance desarrolló con el objetivo de ofrecer un vehículo con capacidades de las camionetas todo terreno tipo “Baja” (llamadas “Trophy Trucks”) incorporando un equipamiento de lujo que la marca del óvalo azul puede ofrecernos. Siendo la versión que probamos la segunda generación de la Raptor, se pueden notar varios cambios.

Comenzando con el motor, esta Raptor ya no cuenta con el motor V8 de 6.2L que vimos en la primera generación. Ahora incorpora un motor EcoBoost V6 de 3.5L biturbo modificado por Ford Performance, proporcionando 450 HP y 510 lb pie de torque, está acoplado a una transmisión automática Select Shift de 10 velocidades con opción de cambios secuenciales a través de las paletas de cambios que están detrás del volante o con los botones localizados en la palanca de velocidades (por si necesitas un toque de caché).
El tren motriz es otro factor que nos gusta de la Raptor, con un diferencial frontal Torsen, la Ford Raptor nos permite seleccionar varios tipos de tracción, comenzando por las ruedas traseras (2H), tracción total en las 4 ruedas en alta y baja velocidad (4H / 4L) con la opción del bloqueo de diferencial para obtener mayor tracción en terrenos con menor agarre y la alternativa de tener tracción integral en las 4 ruedas (4A) donde permitirá distribuir la potencia entre las ruedas delanteras y traseras según sea necesario.
Lo que va a hacer que la Ford Raptor sea un vehículo capaz de transitar ante cualquier terreno, además de las enormes llantas BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A con medida 315/70/R17, es su suspensión, teniendo una configuración independiente de doble horquilla con muelle helicoidal y brazo de control inferior de aluminio fundido al frente, mientras que atrás, como buena pickup, tiene una configuración de muelles y eje sólido.
Los amortiguadores FOX Racing Shox™ de alta potencia presurizados que darán el confort o el alto desempeño son los que soportarán el castigo de las irregularidades del camino, siendo estos amortiguadores uno de los componentes más sobresalientes porque fueron diseñados especialmente para esta pickup. Con esta configuración, la Ford Raptor tiene una distancia al piso de 30 centímetros que es suficiente para superar la mayoría de los obstáculos.
El diseño exterior denota mucha robustez, comenzando por su parrilla octogonal en color gris con las letras “FORD” resaltadas tridimensionalmente, esta parrilla albergará la cámara frontal y unas luces indicadoras para darnos cuenta de la altura que se encuentra el cofre. Sus faros con tecnología LED con encendido y ajuste de iluminación automático, cuenta con luces diurnas para hacerse notar mientras uno va conduciendo. Otro detalle de esa robustez, es la defensa con corte angular y aberturas en los extremos para poder admirar la obra de arte que es la suspensión frontal. Esta defensa también contará con una placa debajo de ella para proteger el motor y para remolcar sobrealen dos enormes ganchos para arrastre.
A los costados podremos notar los rines de aleación de 17 pulgadas con las llantas All Terrain, debido a la altura, contaremos con los estribos reforzados para poder ayudarnos a subir a la cabina, estos estribos, además de tener grabado el emblema de “Raptor”, están diseñados para poder resistir impactos principalmente cuando estamos en terracería. Las salpicaderas, debido a sus dimensiones, se vuelve una de las partes más anchas de la camioneta sin contar los espejos, debido a esto, poder encontrar un cajón de estacionamiento suficientemente amplio de vuelve todo un reto. Para darle mayor presencia, en las salpicaderas traseras tendremos el vinil con la leyenda “Raptor” por si aún tienen duda de que vehículo se trata. Debido a las enormes dimensiones, en las esquinas de la Raptor tendremos luces indicadoras ¡Como si fuese un trailer!
La parte de atrás tendremos las luces traseras de LED con la forma en “c” para darle ese aspecto moderno además de funcional, también tiene integrado los sensores de proximidad para que sea fácil su maniobra ante obstáculos. La batea (o área de carga) va a contar con un recubrimiento que impedirá que se dañe esa parte de la carrocería si decides utilizarla para cargar cosas pesadas.

En la puerta de acceso al área de carga, tendremos la moldura con los emblemas Lobo y Raptor además de las letras “FORD” como en la parte de enfrente incluyendo también la cámara de reversa en ella. Al igual que en el frente tendremos ganchos de arrastre y la conexión para remolque. La Ford Raptor contará con dos salidas de escape con puntas en un color negro que cumplen su función de hacer sonar el motor 3.5L EcoBoost.
La primera impresión al subir al interior de la Ford Raptor es su inmenso espacio (es más grande que un “departamento” en la condesa y con mejor precio), lo primero que vamos a notar (si es que está descubierto) es el techo panorámico para las dos filas de asientos con función de quemacocos eléctrico (sólo al frente) Vista Roof. Regresando al espacio interior, podemos transportar a 5 adultos de complexión grande sin ningún problema. Dentro de la seguridad den la cabina, tenemos las 6 bolsas de aire tradicionales (2 frontales, 2 laterales, 2 tipo cortina) también tendremos bolsas de aire para las rodillas y los cinturones de seguridad inflables para los pasajeros de atrás.
Todos los asientos están tapizados en piel en color negro, los delanteros, que son de tipo capitán (para ir a tus anchas como un sillón reposet) tienen ajuste eléctrico y memoria de posición para el conductor, también tienen calefacción y ventilación para hacer más placentero el viaje. Adornando estos asientos, en el respaldo tienen el logo de “Raptor” bordado para una vez más hacer mención al vehículo que estamos manejando. Los asientos traseros tipo banca, permiten abatirse de la parte de abajo para agregar más espacio interior para carga y también para tener acceso a las herramientas.
El volante también te hace recordar de las dimensiones de la Ford Raptor porque también es muy grande (tanto que parece un timón), está forrado en piel tiene una marca en color rojo en la parte central superior (como en los autos de carreras) para recordarte la posición que se encuentra. Este volante, además de tener calefacción, tiene controles para el sistema de infoentretenimiento, la computadora de viaje (que se reproduce en una pantalla de 8 pulgadas incrustada en el panel de instrumentos) y los modos de conducción incluyendo la dirección para el comportamiento de la Ford Raptor.
Pasando al tablero de la Raptor, al centro de esta encontraremos la pantalla touch de 8 pulgadas con el sistema Sync 3 que nos permitirá conectar nuestro celular a través del Bluetooth, Auxiliar y USB con la opción de tener el Android Auto o Apple CarPlay además del radio AM/FM. Para complementar el sistema de infoentretenimiento, contamos con un sistema de audio premium B&O de 10 bocinas incluyendo un subwoofer que nos deleitará reproduciendo nuestras canciones con una calidad bastante agradable.
Además de la pantalla touch, en la consola tendremos botones para interactuar con el sistema SYNC 3, los controles del aire acondicionado, un convertidor de corriente de 110 V junto con un cargador “para auto” además de los botones para activar la cámara de 360 grados (sólo cuando la velocidad es baja).
Al centro de los asientos tendremos un compartimiento enorme compartimiento para guardas nuestras cosas, tan grande que yo considero que podría usarse como hielera si no tuviésemos cargadores ni conexiones USB en él. En el techo, además de los controles para el techo panorámico, la Ford Raptor incluye 6 interruptores auxiliares por si necesitas agregarle accesorios electrónicos a tu Raptor y con esto ya no tienes que modificar el interior.
Ya que llegamos al interior de la Raptor podemos empezar con la sensación del manejo (al fin). Al estar en el asiento del conductor y detrás del volante, lo primero que notas son las dimensiones de la Raptor, por increíble que parezca, tiene una muy buena visibilidad gracias a las ventanas de tamaño vitrina y los espejos laterales. La parte más complicada será medir el frente en el lado del copiloto y la parte de atrás porque, aunque ves perfectamente la caja, por lo alto, no puedes ver lo que esté detrás, pero eso se soluciona activando la cámara de 360 grados que es una gran ayuda sobre todo en maniobras difíciles como salir de un estacionamiento pequeño (se los digo por experiencia).
La emoción de oprimir el botón de Start y escuchar ese primer rugido de la Raptor te saca una sonrisa de inmediato, ves en las pantallas el logo de Raptor y “Built tought” y te das cuenta de que acabas de despertar al monstruo. Pones Drive y es momento abrirse camino. La primera sensación es el poder que tienes en tus manos, porque con sólo pisar el acelerador, la Raptor pasa de ser un vehículo grande y pesado, a un vehículo grande y veloz, su aceleración es sobresaliente gracias a su motor Biturbo, algo que puedes notar es como titubea unos instantes la transmisión para seleccionar la velocidad apropiada y el control de tracción conteniendo todo el torque que reciben las ruedas.
Obviamente para detener toda esta “mole”, cuenta con frenos de disco ventilados en las cuatro ruedas con ABS y Distribución Electrónica de la Fuerza de Frenado (EBD). La dirección es bastante suave para el tonelaje de esta pickup gracias a sus 3 modos: NORMAL, COMFORT y SPORT, siendo esta última la que ofrece mayor precisión al conducir. Además de los ajustes del volante, podemos nosotros elegir varios modos de manejo para la Ford Raptor:
NORMAL – Trabaja con la tracción 2H y una suspensión suave, la respuesta del motor y transmisión se enfoca más para el confort.
SPORT – Puede usarse con la tracción 2H o 4H, mejora sensibilidad del acelerador y la respuesta del motor, la suspensión se vuelve más firme y la transmisión realiza cambios más largos.
ARENA/NIEVE – Activa la tracción 4H, bloquea el diferencial, desactiva el control y se ablanda la dirección.
BAJA – Activa la tracción 4H, el diferencial no está bloqueado, la respuesta del motor es instantánea y el volante está en modo normal.
ROCAS – Activa la tracción 4L, se bloquea el diferencial y la dirección está en modo confort.
RESBALADIZO – Activa la tracción 4A, se reduce notablemente la respuesta del acelerador y el motor para no perder tracción.
REMOLQUE – Activa las asistencias para remolcar.
Manejando la Ford Raptor te hace sentir como cuando Godzilla llega a la ciudad. Comenzando por la altura, verás a la mayoría de los coches por debajo del cofre, por lo que deberás ser cuidadoso ya que se hace un punto ciego que se encuentra en el lado del pasajero. Con un ancho de 2.2 m por las salpicaderas y 2.4m con los espejos, aprenderás a manejar de una manera más precisa debido a que las dimensiones de los carriles, ya no están consideradas para vehículos como este (Viaducto, Reforma, Rio San Joaquín aquí en la Gran Tenoch).

Obviamente es de esperarse que encontrar un lugar de estacionamiento en la calle también será toda una travesía, con una longitud total de 5.9 m de largo tendrás que considerar tal vez hasta ocupar dos lugares (principalmente cuando son lugares con parquímetro) y en las plazas será muy gracioso poder notar la Raptor desde lo lejos pero no te librarás de las maniobras que tendrás que hacer para poder entrar a esos espacios. Pero no todo es sufrimiento manejando la Raptor en la ciudad, ya que es un vehículo grande, cuenta con varias asistencias que te facilitarán su manejo, comenzando con el Sistema Precolisión con Freno de emergencia Automático que, en caso de no ver algún obstáculo, la Raptor se detendrá por arte de sus sensores localizados al frente. Para las maniobras tendremos la opción de activar las cámaras de 360° con la opción de tener varios ángulos y así poder saber lo que está a tu alrededor.
Llevando la Ford Raptor a un hábitat más natural como la terracería, podemos ver el desempeño que nos ofrece este vehículo con prestaciones todo terreno. Comenzando por sus ángulos de ataque de salida de 30.2° y 23.1° no habrá muchos obstáculos que le impidan el paso a esta pickup (además de sus grandes llantas y el sistema 4×4). Percatamos de lo bien diseñada que está la suspensión, comenzando con lo confortante que puede ser en caminos irregularidades. Algo que debemos mencionar, es el recorrido la suspensión, porque al ir pasando por algunos montículos podíamos ver como de un lado terminaba una llanta “volando” mientras que del otro se encontraba totalmente pegada a la carrocería sin notar alguna queja de que estuviésemos excediendo los límites de la suspensión. Teniendo toda la situación monitoreada gracias a los indicadores del tablero y la cámara frontal que se activa cuando elegimos un modo 4×4, podemos conducir la Raptor de manera segura.
Ya que mencionamos las prestaciones de la Ford Raptor, pasemos a los detalles de consumo. Como podemos imaginar, esta gran pickup necesita ser alimentada… ¡y bien! Para ello, tenemos un tanque de combustible de ¡136 L! (casi 3 veces más que el de un auto subcompacto), con el tanque lleno, la computadora de viaje nos indica una autonomía arriba de los 720 km, me imagino que con estos datos ya hicieron los cálculos para obtener los kilómetros por litro que daría la Raptor. Ya siendo más realistas y considerando que nuestra prueba fue más tiempo estando en la ciudad, el consumo que nos dio fue de 4.5km/l en promedio, que es una cifra aceptable debido a que tenemos 450 HP que alimentar y más de 2.5 Toneladas por mover.

A pesar de las cifras que mencionamos, la Raptor hace su mejor esfuerzo para mejorar el consumo de combustible ya que cuenta con el sistema Start/Stop para apagar el motor cuando uno está detenido, además cuando manejas en modo NORMAL los cambios los hace a la mínima de revoluciones para no hacer trabajar tanto al motor. Un consejo que puedes considerar también para la mejora del rendimiento de combustible es usar el modo RESBALADIZO que reduce un poco más la respuesta del motor. Estimando con estos cuidados, la Raptor podría tener un rendimiento arriba de 6km/l.

Toda esta diversión, lujo, desempeño y tecnología tiene un precio, la Ford Raptor 2019 doble cabina que tuvimos a prueba tiene un costo de $1,402,200, que a nuestro punto de vista es un precio justo ya que Ford nos ofrece un vehículo de alto desempeño, equipamiento, nuevas asistencias para la conducción, seguridad y sobre todo comodidad. Para considerar tener una Raptor debes tener en mente que su tamaño será un poco problemático debido a que la ciudad no tiene contemplado estas proporciones bíblicas. El consumo de combustible será el precio que tendrás que pagar por una diversión garantizada al llevar este juguete a todas partes y como niño chiquito querrás jugar todo el tiempo con ella en la tierra. Sin duda esta camioneta me representa.
