That are two questions in one, yet the answer to the first question is shorter to answer: The Tynnan had been teached to fight since she had been a child- in combat, with a lightsaber, with the Force and eventually also with whatever nature lets grow aroudn her whichs growth she had learned to control by will. Ziv is also part of a species made of hypercarnivores, so her body, while beeing sickly for Tynnan standarts, is still evolutionary made to fight and hunt as efficiently as possible so she is not only strong and fast but especially durable and tough on a biological level. Let alone that beeing send to the AgriCorps had made Ziv furiously determinated to proof her worth and her strenght in combat, so she had build up a arsenal of knowledge of poisons, fungus, neurotoxins, spores and chemicals that she can recognize in the area around her or carries with herself to fight, and uses to fight. In the same manenr her medical knowledge in combination with her Makashi Training makes it easy for her to use the Makashi style light jabs to hit acupuncture points and paralyse them for some time.

Now lets answer the second question: Ziv would never kill another person again, after she had used Forcehealing to speed up the celldeviding on a stormtrooper and mad ther cells grow into rot in the manner of a few seconds. Ziv is a healer and she never wanted to do anythign else than helping and healing people in her life. So using the ability she had trained since she had been a child (not that she was anywhere near beeing a adult when beeing 15 years old when she killed the trooper during Order 66) to do harm and doing harm in such a brutal way, messed with her mentaly to such extremes that she is unable to use the ability of forcehealing for the rest of her life. At any moment she precieves herself as a failure for one beeing unable to help peole the way she should by using force-healing, and also beeing on the otehr hand now unable to serve those under her care as a protetcor by beeing able to kill attackers and she can fight as many stormtroopers or heal as many people with her herbal and medical knowledge, it will not change that she feels like a failure. She can not help people properly without forcehealing. And she can not protect people properly because she can not kill another person. She feels like a sham.

India offers Tejas light combat jet to Egypt 🇪🇬

Given that Egypt is looking for new training aircraft, India has offered to set up production facilities in Egypt for the Tejas Mk1A light combat jet.

The Egyptian Air Force (EAF) wants a new training aircraft to replace its old fleet and train its student pilots for the newly delivered Rafale fighters and possibly the Sukhoi Su-35 fighter.

Several aircraft manufacturers have already indicated interest in providing training aircraft, with Grob Aircraft, Sierra Nevada, Aero Vodochody and Leonardo already negotiating.

Now, the Indian state-owned manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has offered its LCA Tejas to be used as fighter pilot training (LIFT) for the Egyptian requirement of 70 aircraft, as it plans to retire the approximately 100 K-8E trainers made in China.

HAL has offered to set up a local production and technology transfer line in Egypt for the Tejas MK1 and is also launching its range of national helicopters such as the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) and the Light Combat Helicopter (LCH).

In recent weeks, several high-level commitments have taken place with Egypt, and the head of the Egyptian Air Force is expected to visit India in a few days, during which manufacturing experience, as well as the maintenance of the aircraft fleet, will be exhibited.

Egypt is looking for new aircraft to train Rafale jet pilots.

In November last year, the Head of the Air General Staff of India VR Chaudhari paid a five-day visit to Egypt to participate in the Air Power Symposium and Defense Exhibition (EDEX) in Cairo. He gave an opening speech: "Strategic air intelligence in confronting new and unorganized threats".

For about $42 million per unit, the LCA Tejas is considered a low-cost alternative to Western projects, due to economies of scale after the Indian Air Force placed an order for 83 fighters of the Mk1A variant.

HAL had previously announced that it plans to develop a hunting training variant based on the Tejas fuselage devoid of state-of-the-art sensors and avionics, but will include specific cockpit equipment for training, including Wide Area Display (WAD) to be used as an Advance Jet Trainer for new pilots.

The LCA Tejas is considered a fourth generation fighter equipped with a fly-by-wire (FBW) system and in-flight refueling capability that allows long-range missions.

Today was an amazing, beautiful, cold, crazy day. This was the 19th annual Plunge, I was so fortunate to be a part of it, all to raise money for transplant funds for 5 of us. I honestly can’t believe people ran into the frozen Atlantic Ocean, there was literally ice floating. They said this is the coldest the water has been since they started the plunge. My mom even went in a little bit!! Kudos to her, because I was uncontrollably shaking from just standing outside!! During Order 66, Ziv had been as a Medic in a sickbay, so the Clones she had interacted with had all been in some way injured. Accordingly she survived out of luck. The one clone who came after murdering the other Healers for her as she was hiding, had already thrown away his blaster as it had been crushed with the force by another Healer. So he had dragged Ziv out of her hidingplace under one of the biodbeds by her hindpaws, held her in place on the ground and strangled her. Ziv panicky reached out and digged her claws in the Clone face and than did what she had learned to do as easy as breathing: Force Healing. In that matter of- she speeded up the celldeviding, but instead of stopping when the injur was healed she - panicky and frightened- never stopped until the clones biomoss died and started to rot under her paw. Ziv had murderd someone. She had murderd someone who she had just patched up a day before. Not only had she as a Helaer murdered someone. But she had used the most purest, beautiful Force-Technique commiting that murder. Ziv keeps what had happned to her during the Order 66 a secret out of shame and panic, but whenever she tries to reach out and use Forcehealing the "rotten face" is back in her mind, blocking the ability. She knows that people die in war, she knows that pepole die, there had been patients who had died despite her treatments, she knows that she had acted in pure self-defence, but she also knows that she is a healer and that her paws should save pepoples lifes instead of ending them. SHe also knows that she had murdered someone, who had been under he protection in the most gruesome way possible, not swiftly and clean, but by letting them rot alive until his biomass had drooped down on her, because she had been scared.

📚 If your OC was given some kind of forbiddon knowledge, what would they do with it? Would they tell anyone? Use it for evil or good? How would it change their outlook on life, if at all? Actually Ziv had already been forbidden, secret knowledge in the Form of the highly telepathic Murakami Orchid Sapling she carries aorund in a pendant around her neck. And she also does her best to research on the Story of Odacer-Faustin, on Darth Drear who still haunts her nightmares, and Darth Scabrous, so she could continue to keep the Murakami Orchid safe and the Sickness and its child the Blackwing Virus away from anyone in the Galaxy. Accordingly it might be suprising for somone like Ziv who seems to never stops talking, but she keeps the murakami orchid and its story an usage suprisingly well hidden, in fact there is noone beside herself who knows about the Orchid and since her mind can not be read due to her strong mindshield it will stay this way.

🌗 Early mornings or late nights? What do they spend their time doing during these hours? There is not a single time of the day in which Ziv is not moving- unless the herbs she uses to push herself wear off and she just drops uncouncious for a day or two wherever she is at the moment- but usually she orefers nights. Due to the Murakami Orchid going through her dreams and occaisonally a memory of a by the Sickness infected Ziv appears in her dreams, Ziv prefers to just gopple down a can of caf, take in stimulating herbs and power through whatever anyone else is calling night. In this time Ziv will continue to study for her work as a midwife and also conducts expierments for her botanic studies, prepares salves and oils from the healingherbs for her patients and, when she becomes too tiered, will try to meditate through Alchaka, because she is worried she would fall asleep when she would sit still.

My mind is going crazy with headcanons after that trailer and keep in mind I haven’t read Dune and so have no idea about the storyline . So anyways -

Headcanon with tropes galore ( been taking notes from the million metas and fics have read since TROS)-

When Ben forceheals Rey infusing her with his life essence ( sounds like a good tea 👀). She becomes pregnant with Reylo Kid aka (Timothee Chalamet in Dune .. tht desert on the backdrop of spaceship like tell me that’s not young Kylo) but after losing Ben, Rey although tries her best to be a good mother becomes obsessed with trying to bring him back from world between worlds eventually she leaves her son with The resistance, her friends mainly Poe , Finn and Rose however Finn and Rose are always travelling and so it’s mainly Poe who mainly raises him and he thinks he is Poe’s son. OR Rey disappears with him or gives birth to him on another world where she encounters another Kylo and decide to be a family but when something happens there only their son escapes finding his way to Poe ( who is leading the new Republic) fighting a new evil maybe( I mean this is Star Wars ) . The New Skywalker Scion brings hope to them while all he wants to do is save his parents . Or Rey disappears leaving him with Chewie and he finds himself fighting with Poe who is either power drunk and deluded or fighting sigh a new evil. But wait for the twist it’s Rey or Kira ( Hello Dark Rey 🔥) anyways owing to the agony of being one half of the dyad she blames the force / Jedi / resistance of killing of her other half she thinks the right thing to do would be to use her status as empress and Scion to abolish slavery help places like Jakku and bring back her other half through any means necessary. When faced with her grown up son who is a mirror image of his father will she change her mind !! Or plot twist Rey is actually fighting the good fight and Poe is the villain who thinks Jedi and the force should no longer be part of the equation and hell bent on eradicating them . Anyways owing to the immensely talented fandom I am looking forward to a few fics !!

A Defense of Force Healing

I will preface this by saying that I am not a big fan of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. These movies were not managed as well as they could have been and the lack of direction showed in the execution of these films. That being said, one of the more common criticisms of the Sequel Trilogy is force healing. Critics say that force healing came out of nowhere or that it was used in material outside of the movies which is the main source for many viewers. However, there already is precedence in Star Wars for the sudden introduction of new force powers in the last movie of a trilogy. Force lightning was introduced in Return of the Jedi and that power had a large influence over the climax of that movie and in the turning point of Revenge of the Sith. I do think that the power could have been better explained, such as showing that Rey learned the power from the ancient texts she recovered from the island Luke was hiding on, or any sort of explanation really. Also, because Star Wars is such a large franchise, it is not completely unreasonable for fans to have come in contact with force healing in other material such as television shows, video games, or books. However, I do think that the movies should be written in a way that is fully coherent for fans who only watch the movies. This does not free the Sequel Trilogy from all blame. I am not even advocating for force healing to be completely absolved.  In essence, I am saying that the original trilogy also deserves to be criticized for suddenly introducing a new force power in the last movie and so Star Wars as a whole even if there is some consistency with how force powers are introduced.

Can someone explain Leia’s role regarding Ben in TROS to me? I don’t think I can stomach watching it again any time soon, so I may be getting this stuff wrong but this is what I remember and can’t figure out:

- Maz says something like: “it will take all her strength to save him now...” referring to Ben I think

- Leia force connects to Ben, distracts him from a fight he was not losing with Rey/maybe also connects to Rey to convince her to forceheal him? Not sure. ALSO, does she take the hit for him and die or was that just her dying from Jedi power use? (Can you tell I was confused by all this?)

- we learn about her Jedi training from Luke’s forceghost and that she chose to forgo that path due to a vision about her becoming a Jedi which would lead to Ben’s death....??

So, by reaching out in the force is she “being a Jedi” to “save her son” whilst simultaneously condemning him to death by becoming said Jedi???? I’m so confused/didn’t understand the train wreck of a plot enough I guess...
