Can someone explain Leia’s role regarding Ben in TROS to me? I don’t think I can stomach watching it again any time soon, so I may be getting this stuff wrong but this is what I remember and can’t figure out:

- Maz says something like: “it will take all her strength to save him now...” referring to Ben I think

- Leia force connects to Ben, distracts him from a fight he was not losing with Rey/maybe also connects to Rey to convince her to forceheal him? Not sure. ALSO, does she take the hit for him and die or was that just her dying from Jedi power use? (Can you tell I was confused by all this?)

- we learn about her Jedi training from Luke’s forceghost and that she chose to forgo that path due to a vision about her becoming a Jedi which would lead to Ben’s death....??

So, by reaching out in the force is she “being a Jedi” to “save her son” whilst simultaneously condemning him to death by becoming said Jedi???? I’m so confused/didn’t understand the train wreck of a plot enough I guess...
