A VERY important thing- looking for a kidney.

As you know, I use my Tumblr to show art and advertise my streams, but I will go IRL here for a bit.

So, for the friends that know me. I have Polycystic kidney disease (or PKD), which, due to the cysts, has been degrading my kidneys. I am currently on a donor list; however, even with lifestyle changes and doing everything. My kidney function, or GFR, has been slowly decreasing, and if this continues, I MAY have to go on dialysis. I am currently working, and if that happens. That will affect my life and time.

So if your blood type is an O type ( + prefer but - can work), please consider if you want to. To possibly donate a kidney. I am registered under St. Louis University Hospital (SSM Health)'s donor list and will renew it this month. If you can help, feel free to reach out to SSM Health

Personal update!

I’m not sure if everyone knows that my husband is in need of a kidney transplant. He has been waiting for approximately 4 years, and been on dialysis since 2021. This morning he got a call there is an opportunity for a transplant if everything goes smoothly. This will be life changing for us- more specifically him. So, please pray for us!

A little life update

Unfortunately the previous kidney was not suitable for my husband because abnormalities… however.. a wonderful lady from church came forward to get tested. God bless her. She wasn’t a match but willing to do a exchange program so hopefully someone else will be a match. I was really bummed she wasn’t a match, and the fact my husband has high antibodies makes it harder to find a match because his body could reject the kidney.

Continue to help us pray, please. I know in God’s time this need will be met. But, I’ll be honest it’s not easy.
