to make a long story short, i have been in an unstable and hazardous housing situation since july. along with multiple health hazards being found in the house that we rent (black mold, the ceiling caving in, lead pipes) i have also experienced my roommate spreading life ruining rumors about me and my bf in the workplace, my other roommate telling me to kill myself, our belonging being stolen/broken, etc. recently my roommate caused my car to get towed, and it cost over $400 to get it out of impound. luckily i was able to cover the cost of this, but i now have no money for the next week until i get paid, and i had to dip into my rent money to cover it. i am also trying to save up for a security deposit on a new place (away from these roommates) when our lease ends.
DM me for more/higher quality (tumblr made this post kind of crunchy) examples of my art or if you have any questions!

Link to their campaign:
Hello
my name is Aya, I am 26 years old, currently living in the northern part of Gaza City, and I am a mother of two children. My oldest is my daughter, Sana'a, who is 5 years old, and my youngest is my son, Wasfi, who is 3.
Since the morning of October 7th, 2023, our lives have been turned upside down. We have lived through the hardest days of our lives, facing displacement and homelessness. We have been forced to leave our home more than ten times since the war began. We would leave without knowing where to go.
We sought refuge in schools and relatives' homes, hoping we could return home and that this nightmare would end. But our house was bombed, and our dreams were destroyed. We became homeless and displaced.
Every day, we wake up to the sound of bombs and rockets. I lived in constant fear and terror with my children, especially when my family's house was bombed while we were taking shelter there.
We are experiencing a real famine in Gaza. I’ve gone to bed with my children many nights without dinner because there is no food available. We have had to eat animal and bird feed due to the high cost of flour just to fill the hunger of my young children. Even after eating it, we all suffered from diarrhea and severe stomach pain. My children developed rashes on their bodies due to the spread of viruses and the accumulation of garbage. There is also a severe shortage of water, and even when we find it, it's not safe to drink.
My children cry, asking for vegetables, fruits, and eggs, but we can’t afford them because we have no income. The gas shortage has forced us to use fire for everything—cooking and baking—using plastic and pipes because firewood is so hard to find.
My children also developed jaundice, and I struggled a lot to get them better because there was no access to vegetables, fruits, or medicine. I even feared that my son might have developed polio because he already had leg problems before the war, and they worsened due to malnutrition.
Winter is coming, and we have nothing for it. I need clothes and shoes for my children to keep them warm, but I can’t buy them because they are so expensive.
For this reason, I beg of you and hope that you can support me, even with the smallest contribution, so I can provide my children with the most basic necessities of life.
I was displaced with my children to my family's house, tears in my eyes. On the way, Salah Al-Din Street was bombed, and the Israeli occupation committed horrific massacres. By the grace of God, we survived for the first time. We lived in terror and fear. A few days later, my family's house was bombed, and we were pulled out from under the rubble, miraculously surviving for the second time.
When my husband heard the news that we had died, he came to bid us farewell, only to find us alive by God's grace. We returned with him, but as the situation worsened and the fire belts in our area increased, we started to flee again and again, not knowing where to go next.
I beg of you to share my story and help me continue to live.

So, so close, let's help out !
i like clicking buttons too but i am asking you to actually pay attention to things that matter even if you don't have a fun poll to engage with. it's ridiculous how inventive people have to get to entertain tumblr userbase enough for you to reblog fundraisers nowadays.
donate to mahmoud ( @ma7moudgaza2 ). his fundraiser slowed down significantly again, once the polls in the promo posts expired. he's currently at $19,794 USD raised of the temporary $20,000 goal. it is a verified, trusted campaign.
@buttercuparry @feluka @appsa tagging you for reach! thank you

please donate to @Adhamfamily87 🙏🏻🚨⚠️
They have very little donations - only £140 throughout their entire campaign
They have no money for food, clothes, medicine or Neven (Adham's wife) spinal surgery.
They have 4 children, their youngest turned 1 yesterday - born in a war, first birthday in a G-cide 😞
They have been displaced 5 times already and they may very soon have to do so again due to level of constant bombardment in the area
They also support Adham's injured brother and elderly mother after Adham's father was unalived and his wife's entire family minus 2 siblings were also unalived
They have been thoroughly vetted through Ebonies voice Charitable community organjsation - you can see their work at: www.eboniesvoice.org

Emergency fundraising! (I got scammed)
This is gonna be a long post, so if you don't wanna read all of it, here's the summary:
I fell for a bank scam call while grieving the loss of my grandma and the election results. Now I owe PayPal 900 dollars and have no means of paying it.
I hate asking for money, but if anyone could please contribute with absolutely anything, I'd be endlessly grateful. We're in a rough financial spot at the moment, so this is our only option.
Any donations can be sent to
https://ko-fi.com/pastalbird
About 2 weeks ago, right before those harrowing election results, my grandma passed. With all that was going on, on top of my full time job and other life responsibilities and struggles, I was pretty rattled.
It was then I got a call "from the bank".
They were friendly and familiar, and asked me questions that sounded official, claiming my credit card info had been stolen, and making me go through different steps to resolve the issue.
(Looking back, it's frustrating how obviously scammy this was, but at the time I was under so much stress I truly didn't notice. Or rather I did, but dismissed it as paranoia.)
They had me try and send money through Zelle, where there was a request for 900usd. Since it didn't go through, they tried through PayPal, which also failed. They then told me to not use the account for 24 hours so they would try again the next day.
(Again, I know there were burning red flags, but unfortunately I didn't fully process it until it was too late.)
It got even more ridiculous, as they called the next day, asking me to redo all the steps and even demanding I go to an ATM.
I said I couldn't. They claimed my debit was "infiltrated" and that I had to mail them my card.
It was at this point I told my mom about all this, hung up, called the bank, froze my account, removed the account from PayPal, and changed my password.
I thought that would be the end of it... Until the next day, when I checked my PayPal and found my balance to be -900usd, meaning the failed transaction went through after all.
Another one for 800 was also pending, but luckily I managed to cancel it in time.
Immediately, I reported the transaction as a scam. However, PayPal said they couldn't return my money since "the transaction had been approved" and that "no unusual activity had been detected". I have called my bank once more, but they say it's out of their hands entirely.
We are in the middle of a move, my husband is coming to visit later this week.
We were already very tight for money, since my husband's boss was sick for half the year, meaning he got no work before July. And just last month we had to pay 2000 in lawyer fees for an unrelated issue, so timing could absolutely not be worse.
We do not have the financial means to cover this debt. I really don't know what we'll do now. Normally, I absolutely hate asking for money, but if anyone could spare anything, it would be more than welcome. We'd be immensely grateful.

Emergency: Help Evacuate My Family From GAZA WAR
Dear Humanity,
I'm Haya from Gaza , from a family of 8 people: my parents, two sons, and four daughters (two of them suffer from allergies).
I've witnessed the evidence of the tragedy that has struck our lives in Gaza, where my family and I have survived amidst numerous previous wars. But today, we face the most dangerous and fierce battle in the current war. The urgent need intensifies for us, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water, and safe shelter.
Here is our story - On October 7th, our lives changed forever, my family and I evacuated from northern Gaza to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but it wasn't meant to be. Our home was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed, Our home, once a fortress of hope, now lay in ruins, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams.
The night before we left from the north to the south was terrifying. Shelling sounds were everywhere, making a loud noise that felt like it went through our souls. Every explosions shook the ground like earthquakes, sending shockwaves of fear through our trembling bodies. filling us with fear. The air smelled of destruction and blood, making it hard to breathe. When dawn came, we saw the devastation around us, realizing our home was now a symbol of loss and despair.
We ran into the streets and with each step we took into the unknown streets, we felt as if we were plunging deeper into the abyss of our shattered existence, leaving behind everything we own in our home: Clothes, important official documents, the car, and literally it's almost everything - the enormity of our loss weighed heavily upon us.
Our home it was where we found hope, safety, and made precious memories. Losing it felt like losing years of our lives, leaving us adrift amidst the wreckage of our shattered existence.
youtube
A brief video depicting the devastation that struck our home and our entire neighborhood in Gaza.
Desperate Plea: Escaping Gaza's Allergy Nightmare
I, Haya, suffer from severe allergy to penicillin-derived medications, and my sister, Amal, also suffers from severe allergies to medications from my family such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.
These allergies create a deep sense of fear and anxiety for us, as we live in a constant state of tension and fear of anything that may require a visit to the hospital. We fear being given inappropriate medications due to the unavailability of suitable treatments in Gaza because of war or lack of awareness and not informing the doctor of our allergies, which could lead to serious consequences threatening our lives.
MY Father Income
Our dreams are heading towards oblivion in the labyrinth of an uncertain future
My story, along with my siblings, represents a united team of four individuals, three of whom are skilled programmers and one graphic designer. We work as freelancers in the world of freelancing.
As for my younger sister, she is a student studying at the College of Architecture. She has always carried a big dream in her heart, a dream of being part of changing Gaza, of making it more beautiful and better. She looked forward to the day when she would receive her degree and start building this dream. But the beginning of the war changed everything. The destruction of infrastructure and universities cast shadows of despair over her dreams.
When I think of my brother in Belgium, I can't help but feel deep sadness. He has been suffering from unbearable anxiety and insomnia since the outbreak of the war. Sleep eludes him at night, and his physical and mental health collapses under the weight of these heavy burdens, negatively affecting his performance at work. Problems and challenges pile up in front of him without the slightest opportunity for rest.
We all feel psychological pressure and extreme anxiety. The war hasn't been limited to external attacks but has deeply infiltrated our daily lives. We search among the rubble for a little safety and the basic resources for survival. Every day comes with a new challenge that we must overcome.
As we sway amidst the rubble of shattered dreams, our souls wrestle and our hearts beat strongly challenging the ravages of war.
Our parents earnestly seek a way to rescue us from this hell, feeling the heavy responsibility for every moment we spend under the shadows of fear and destruction. They dream of a safe place where they can build for us a better future, filled with security and hope, for we deserve life in all its meanings of comfort and peace.
Perhaps this fundraising campaign represents a light in the midst of darkness, it is indeed the only hope we cling to firmly.
I appeal to the world as a whole to hear my cry and the mournful cry of my family in Gaza. We need the helping hand that reaches out to wipe our tears and build a bridge to safety.
Your donation is not just a donation; it's an opportunity to rebuild life and brighten a better tomorrow. Be part of our hopeful story, for we need your hand to start anew.
The purpose of the fundraising campaign
The goal of this fundraising campaign is to rescue my family - my parents, my siblings, and me - through the Rafah Crossing to Egypt, which currently requires $5000 per person. This campaign is our only chance to stay alive, and I humbly request your assistance at this critical time. I will provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of the expenses, committing to transparency and clarity.

I've been messaging back and forth with @mohammedalanqer after he shared his fundraiser with me, and very quickly into our conversation I offered to draw a comic about him to help boost his gofundme. he was incredibly excited about the idea and shared so many lovely pictures of his family for reference. the text is based off his story of him and his family living under constant bombardment, which you can read here.
he has been able to raise €50,403 out of €58,000, meaning he only has €7,592 left to be able to evacuate. please share this comic as much as possible so that he can reach his goal!
UPDATE (09/01): the goal has been raised to cover additional costs! the current progress is
€59,031 / €60,000
€969 (❕️❕️❕️) left to go!

only €249 out of €10,000 however!!! go help them however!
Hello guys,
I back again from a new account because my previous account was blocked as all the Palestinian people on Tumblr ,,
I need your help, your efforts and your generosity to support my family and shere their story as much as you could ,
You remember surely my nephew, I think his image is still stuck in your minds.
Here the link Gofund for helping my family and Shahed:
And the link PayPal for helping my family:
Even the account was deleted about two weeks ago and I almost lost hope but after the massacres we are witnessing against our people in Gaza, where tonight they were completely burned and their bodies melted in front of the world,
I want to get my family out of Gaza while they are in full health, I do not want to talk about the mechanism they use to kill innocent people and how death occurs, I do not want to think far away, your prayers again for my family that they remain safe and the war ends soon

They have gotten so far and are nearing their goal. Please help them to reach the finish line!!! Remember that these funds are necessary for daily living as the family awaits evacuation.
🕊 Currently at €64,657 / €100,000 - a donation can also get you entered into a raffle for a free commission from me! More info here !
🎨 Art NOT by me - all art credit goes to an artist (who wanted to remain anonymous for now) who gave Ahmed permission to post, and then Ahmed gave me permission to post on his behalf.
🌟 This campaign has been vetted by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi - #264 on the vetted Gaza fundraiser list. Also verified by @/butterflyeffect.project (line 741)
EDIT: final goal has been changed due to Ahmed needing to raise the goal to ensure he receives the necessary funds after gfm fees and bank taxes have been taken out! truly despicable that these financial hurdles exist given the circumstances :((
