I am having extremely specific and niche ideas I must share. Specifically headcanons for Danny Phantom characters playing World of Warcraft
I feel like Sam would have been the first of them to get into WoW. Something other to play than Doomed, with a heavier focus on questing. She'd play on a PVP server and would be something of a legend on her realm.
She'd pretty much do everything, from hardcore raiding, to achievement hunting, to a little roleplaying on the side with friends.
She'd have two characters she swaps between, a troll warlock and an undead rogue, and would have the most min-maxed gear she can possibly get at all times. A "for the Horde!" girlie all the way. The warlock has tailoring/enchanting for professions, and the rogue mining/jewelcrafting, and she's got every recipe she can get her hands on for both.
I could see Sam trying to get Tucker and Danny into WoW, only to be wildly disappointed with their character decisions as both of them cozy up Alliance-side on a roleplaying realm.
-
Tucker takes one glance at worgen and goes "I'm gonna be a fucking werewolf" and it's all over from there. His main would be a guardian/feral druid (tank and melee dps) with the corniest RP name you've ever seen, and he loves them dearly. He's always looking for new transmog to dress up with, and he takes his mining/engineering professions a little too seriously. He mostly plays with Danny, but probably has a horde alt Sam forced him to make so they could actually play together before cross-faction became a thing (I am being intentionally Vague about what expansions they'd be playing in).
Tucker's horde alt would be a tauren druid that ALSO runs engineering. Pretty much the same character, especially considering he spends 90% of his time in animal forms.
-
Danny would start off playing a night elf monk and would get more into the RP of it than he ever wants to openly admit. He loves all of the flips and shit the monks do, and he's all in on the night elf aesthetic. He swaps between mistweaver and windwalker (healer and DPS), depending on what him and Tucker need to get shit done. He doesn't really focus a lot on the professions, instead going for dual gathering with mining and herbalism so he just has a lot of rocks and plants to throw at Tucker or onto the auction house.
After the accident though, Danny takes a long, staring look at death knights and decides he needs to play one-- for the memes. He's dogshit at it after playing monk for so long, but you can pry his frost (dps) death knight from his cold, half-dead hands.
The DK is just another night elf and when he's RPing, Danny likes to say it's the same character as the monk.
(Also I specifically think that Danny would play a nelf instead of a draenei because, as a trans Danny truther, I feel like the too-buff male draeneis would be a little Much for him, and the femme ones would be too dysphoric.)
-
Val would very begrudgingly start playing WoW with them once she joins Team Phantom. She'd go Horde-side with Sam, with a tauren warrior decked head to toe in red. She quickly gets sucked into the game, and gets a little intense with farming for all of the things she wants-- mounts, cool transmog, some battle pets. She likes to do a lot of content alone, finding it fun to just go off questing, but she'll let herself be dragged into dungeons ever now and then. She just doesn't have the time or energy for raiding consistently.
Val winds up making a bunch of different alts eventually to keep collecting shit, and she gets scary good at gold farming so she can pay for her subscription with in-game currency. She's got a bunch of different professions she runs on her various alts, but the warrior's got mining/blacksmithing since the idea of making her own armor won her out.
-
Dani plays on a laptop bought with Vlad's money, on a subscription also bought with Vlad's money. She takes one look at Val and Sam playing Horde-side and decides there is no other side to play.
She mains a vulpera hunter and is a troll through and through. She lives up to the hunter stereotype of accidentally pulling everything, but makes up for it by being scary good at DPS and PVP. Her and Val do a lot of mog and mount farming together, and some of her favorite things to collect are the battle pets and toys. She's got Meerah's Jukebox (a toy that plays a song about alpacas before exploding) hotkeyed to drop at a moment's notice.
She winds up getting a little too invested in alchemy, insisting she needs to be good at making goop.
-
Wes would not play WoW, and would instead play FFXIV and would never shut up about how much better it is than WoW.
Bonus:
Lancer plays a lot of WoW during the summer when school is out. He's got a human mage who looks a bit like a buff version of him that he's been playing since the game released, and he's got all sorts of achievements and collectibles held onto from that era. He runs herbalism/inscription as a profession, and has every recipe for it under the sun. He still insists on riding his first horse mount that he ever got, and it has a Shakespearean name.
#danny phantom#world of warcraft#these characters canonically play an MMO so I think it is only logical that they would try other MMOs#dog barks

[Nah, the Nelf Players are ALWAYS like this 24/7 especially the ones on Twitter. They’ll go out of their way to harass and demonize Horde players both IC and OOC for playing Horde going so far as to call them “Nazis” irl for it. Shit’s WILD.] [sent 3:27pm on the 19th] Hi, dwarf player here - I follow a lot of Night Elf players on twitter, and rarely see any acting as unhinged as some of you who DESPERATELY want to hate them. Once again, please seek a bit of therapy - this behavior isn't healthy.

I wanted to write about Tyrande but I don’t know how to go about it honestly so uh this is a rant more than a headcanon or meta or whatever Im just trying to make sense of things before blizzard comes and messes up all of my reasoning in 8.3
way back when darkshore stuff happened, I did this one post defending that while I disagreed with her initial approach being as it was, it was very in character for tyrande to request help and then act on her own when anduin denied it.
I think she’s right in not wanting to help the alliance too. I think it makes sense with her, as a character, and what was happening to her that she wouldn’t (and I personally agree with her reasoning tbh). My problem with the lack of tyrande content since darkshore isn’t that I think she should work with the horde --- I don’t think she should tbh. I understand that narratively this is why she wasn’t in nazjatar, even though it is absolutely frustrating that characters like tyrande and malfurion, who were directly tied to azshara, never got to face her, or the ruins of their civilization, or the ghosts of people they knew. while on horde side I found it super satisfying to have thalyssra there (precisely because she has that connection to, albeit less directly to azshara herself) on alliance side to have it be shandris instead was... frustrating. I love shandris, and I definitely support that she should be set up as the next leader of the night elves (it is what tyrande would want, too), but she was a child during the war of the ancients, and while she was a victim like most other night elves, she wasn’t as directly involved in the conflict as tyrande and malfurion were.
that said, the most upsetting thing about it is that while shandris is being an active part of the story, apparently her ties to tyrande and general contact with her, or malfurion, or maiev, were all completely cut off. I could let it go that tyrande was warned about azshara and nazjatar and actively chose not to participate in it because retaking their lands and having justice for teldrassil was more important --- and I could even excuse it precisely using shandris’ presence there, because she has been tyrande’s second-in-command since forever, and tyrande would trust her to deal with something like that without attending to it personally. I don’t think that would be how she’d go about it, honestly, because I think she’d be more likely to turn her attention to azshara and leave someone else dealing with the horde for a moment (someone like maiev, who is there working with her already anyways). she absolutely wouldn’t make any truce with them if she went to nazjatar, and would be very much against it if/when jaina was willing to accept it/suggest it (maybe even be angered by genn’s acceptance too, even though in his case it isn’t something he seeks as actively, and they have closer ties so not as much as she’d be by jaina).
anyways, I can reason that as ‘she did indeed know about what was going, shandris did let her know, and she entrusted her with dealing with it bc she was too busy killing horde’ asndjfkasdnf it is not ideal but it is okay. I can accept it, and it excuses why she wouldn’t be there, and why shandris would, and it doesn’t imply they apparently are not talking anymore because the plot demands it or blizzard doesn’t know what to do with tyrande before she goes full evil vengeance murder is all she knows now she’ll kill us all
this I plan on expanding on in an actual proper meta/headcanon thing but, I think tyrande not replying to anduin anymore is reply enough in itself, but that she would be aware it also serves to isolate her and her people from the rest of the alliance... and I don’t think she would unless she has decided the nelves won’t be a part of it anymore, or that she has decided to move against anduin’s leadership and isn’t in fact isolating the nelves from the rest, but ignoring the high king and stormwind alone in an attempt to isolate him, eventually. anyways, I don’t think she cut off communication with everyone, and she definitely wouldn’t with shandris.
I think her problem is with him specifically (and those who might try to speak for him, like jaina), not that she’s so focused on vengeance she set everything aside because this isn’t like her, even in her current state. and rightfully so tbh: yes, stormwind received the refugees, anduin helped her with helping take as many people from teldrassil as they could, but later when she sought him to retake what of their land they had left (and as I mentioned in the previously linked post, I don’t think that was purely vengeance; it makes sense to get darkshore back from the point of view of someone concerned with the survival of her kind --- just like it was one of the sin’dorei’s priorities too, after the fall) he said they didn’t have the resources to help and refused to. even after she did go to darkshore, (already splitting alliance forces, as much of the night elves went with her and they had the aid of genn and the gilneans too), the alliance didn’t try to help in any way, not even by sending a token force.
the high king said they didn’t have the forces to spare to help her people when they are at their most critical, yet he freed an enemy and used his forces to lend the horde aid with a problem they themselves created --- and that’s even without saying killing sylvanas alone (or sylvanas and nathanos, or sylvanas and the forsaken, what you will) is not enough for tyrande. the rest of the horde isn’t excused in her eyes, and it shouldn’t be because while teldrassil was an unspeakable act, they were all very much on board with marching on a virtually undefended darnassus before the world tree burned, in a plan of saurfang’s own making. to tyrande, the horde as a whole is the problem, not sylvanas --- to tyrande, anduin is deluding himself in believing that sylvanas is the problem because he is a child and not fit to lead, and it is easier to point at her alone and think everything will be fine when she’s gone even though it won’t.
he didn’t aid her when she needed most, but he can turn all of the alliance’s efforts to help the horde? of course she’s not talking to him. of course she won’t answer. of course she won’t be there. you don’t need to have been corrupted by vengeance for this to be acceptable on her part, honestly.
the entire thing with lor’themar and jaina has a throwback to mists and their learning that it ends when they both walk away ---- but people like tyrande cannot (don’t want to) walk away. her people was slaughtered, their sacred places and forests destroyed or defiled, and not by sylvanas alone. she won’t walk away, and why should she? it’s not fair to those who lost their lives fighting for their land, fighting for survival, that she’ll forget them and forgive their attackers. she won’t. there can be no peace with the horde, never again, not for tyrande --- and if anduin can’t see this, if he can’t understand this, if he chooses to help the enemies who harmed her people so but cannot move a finger to help her and the night elves, who have been loyal to the alliance for a long time, then he’s not worth more to her than the horde tbh.
I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong that tyrande would be walking away from the alliance or unwilling to fight with them --- my issue is with the overall lack of content, with the implied lack of communication between her and other people (like shandris) which doesn’t make sense, and last but not least, with the nelves standing there without her anyways.
shandris has never demonstrated greater openness towards the horde than tyrande herself. excusing it with something like ‘she and some of the sentinels are there because they haven’t fallen to vengeance like tyrande and the black moon army’ would be complete bullshit. that’s without saying that shandris and the rest of the night elves have always been loyal to tyrande as their leader --- and that they never had reason not to be tbh. on top of that, you still have the fact that kaldorei society predominantly worships elune, and that turning their backs to her former high priestess and current literal embodiment of vengeance and anger wouldn’t make sense either, not with it first being developed that she has indeed gone too far. we might have that in 8.3 but as is? shandris and the sentinels should not be working with the horde. blatantly disobeying tyrande doesn’t make sense and tyrande wouldn’t have even sent someone in her stead. there should be no nelf support to the campaign against sylvanas UNLESS it was made explicit that they’re there to see sylvanas dead but they couldn’t care less for the horde and will resume killing them right afterwards
which is like, the most plausible excuse I’ve found for it. if their stance on it was similar to genn’s who state that he was there to have sylvanas killed and doesn’t give a damn who leads the horde or if they tear each other apart, then it makes sense that some of the night elves, the ones who agree with that standing would be there, while others would be with tyrande and maiev and malfurion vengeancing bc even breathing the same air as the horde is too much afnkjands and if that was the reasoning, then I think tyrande would have begrudgingly accepted that they went --- she wouldn’t have told them to go, but having it requested from shandris for example, she might unwillingly say yes.
anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk everything is a mess and it’s all over the place but I’m trying to make sense of tyrande with all of this
#also this has absolutely nothing to do with anything but every time the darkshore thing is referred to as black moon#I can only think of sailor moon#black lady was my fave I still intend on cosplaying her some day lol#* muse: tyrande whisperwind / ELUNE’S CHOSEN.#long post cw#* character study: tyrande whisperwind / ONLY THE GODDESS MAY FORBID HER ANYTHING.

Current Activities in World of Warcraft #46
So there’s a lot to unpack here. I got my income taxes in and then proceeded to kill probably half of it on Faction changes and boosts. There were a few events on alliance that I didn’t care for. A worgen player creeped my paladin way the fuck out and just let that alt collect dust for a couple of weeks but my rep with that guild is under repair. My priest is in a Scarlet guild as a sort of financier but the Glead’s character is kind of a dick (as scarlet leaders tend to be) so while my character was trying to ask about membership/recruitment plans, she was basically told to sit down and shut up. I did not take kindly to this as my priest is sort of built to be an imposing figure. A highly tall, amazonian woman who controls markets. As per consensus in RP, I only have as much power as I am given and when characters in the guild she’s in think she ain’t shit, then she ain’t shit. Which kind of backed me into a writer’s corner. OOCly they’re fine people but I think I will quit that guild... tomorrow, probably. Again, good people IC but if their characters can’t accept my character as a force in the Scarlet Crusade then what the hell’s the point in having her? There was one other thing that I forgot. It must not have been that important. So like three or four bad things all happened within like, a two day period and I was so depressed about it all. I endeavored to create some horde characters I actually want to play. This led to what may be like, four different boosts? 1) A new rogue, an orc. Actually racechanged from a previous Nightborne boost. The NB variation was not at all interesting to RP and Silvermoon is quite a boor to hang around in. However it was a good decision, as she has slingshot into my account’s highest level at 931. Heroics and Isles quests are a joke to her and she got the 100% crit rate shoulder legendary (for five seconds out of stealth) which doubled her DPS to a hilarious degree. She’s easily my horde main these days. 2) Joining her was a faction changed Demon Hunter. Nelf to Belf obviously. I haven’t done as much on her but she’s in the range of 926 or so. Without any real decent mogs considering this is their debut expansion... Every demon hunter is basically wearing colored variations of the same two or three outfits. So there’s not much for me to actually DO on her but roleplay, and my orc is more interesting to roleplay. 3) A very recent boost (literally like three days ago of this post), an orc shaman. Got her off the ground nicely, doing the whole Argus questline and opening up those WQ’s for her. Conceptually subject to change, there are some mogs I’d like to hunt and acquire on her and she will VERY likely end up becoming a troll in the future. 4) I faction hopped my warlock from an orc to Void Elf after I had got the required reputation (at long last). This marks me acquiring the only three current allied races I give a damn about. 5) I boosted a Lightforged paladin and I actually kind of regret this because I have no overt plans to do anything with her. She’s basically my human paladin but... hornier. Heh. 6) I also leveled one of my two monks to 110. Both were already previous boosts, one was the original 90 and my draenei was a 100 boost. I went ahead and leveled the draenei through invasions and I discovered something; It might behoove me in the future to at least do a FEW quests between invasions as I discovered that my shit got kicked in when my character remained at around ~700 ilevel (the legion launch event gear gave you 700′s) but enemies constantly got boosted in power to the point where I was starting to get 3-shot by basic mobs and had to ask for help when I ventured out. This problem got solved by 107ish when I did a few quests and started swimming in 750′s. Helped a ton. Currently on to-do list; 1) Do something with that level 100 warrior that has been collecting dust for like, three years. A race change will likely have to be required to revitalize any interest in her. The class itself has always bored me but Legion has done a good job of making classes interesting to play. And they have some damn fine mog hunts I could engage in. 2) Do something with that level 46 Nightborne who is also collecting dust because I despise leveling in general. As it stands, NB do look pretty swag in plate gear so she can stay a warrior (despite me wanting to do something with the 100 I already have). This might be something I will have to look into when my one week work vacation comes up in 3-4 months. 3) Maybe do more with the human paladin. Repairing the sore spot I had with that RP guild. I should do more Argus with her and help revitalize my interest in playing her. Got to RPing in that Lightforged warframe (Oh yea I used some of my taxes to buy that damn thing, too. Thanks tokens!) which was a lot of fun for the short time I did. 4) Endeavor to get the hunter above 900. It has come to the point where I don’t really think I have an overt “main” anymore. I’ve gone from having four 110′s to TEN of the fuckers. The “main” changes every couple of weeks at this point. My new orc rogue is still my go-to when I log in but at this point mostly just to prod my base minions and after that it’s off to RP or alts and figure out who else I can get to their 910′s. So with a focus on rogue, my secondary “main” changes all the time. I played the DH for a few days straight then alternated to the paladin. My priest was a constant focus for weekly quests to get the allied race reps up (she got all of them for me, basically, except for the Nightbourne which my DK did.) Speaking of my DK; I do want the current season pvp gear but I’ll wait until that can be acquired with marks. Kiur has always been my effective main but she’s a bit of a niche at this point. The most walk-up friendly of all characters as she needs no excuse to bother people but the responses she gets for bothering are mixed to the point of not being fun. Everyone claims walkup friendly in their TRP’s but none of them specify exactly what kind they prefer. They certainly don’t want crazy deadites screaming to them about SCIENCE. Their loss.

theres so much potential with this new race system!! and with them talking about adding even more than the 6 talked about i’m just having fun dreaming...and thinking about what would be cool
Vrykrul
I honestly expect this to eventually be a playable race. I’d say most likely allied with the horde? They’re quite similiar to orcs culture wise. I can easily see them becoming playable. We just had all that Stormheim stuff so they’re still present in current content..i dont think its difficult to imagine the horde recruiting them when the time comes
We just helped the Valajar so they might be willing.
Yay for Vikings!
Ethereal
They’re bringing them back into the fold so it wouldn’t be a reach. They could easily have them ally themselves with one side or actually you know what I think would be more fitting? They choose a side like Pandaren? Ethereals are known for being rather self-serving. It seems like they would choose to go their own way rather than stick to one side
Naga
Naga should have been a race a long time ago in my opinion. They probably would have been if not for their models. Look, I don’t know much about ideo game creation but they should make naga a thing. The only thing is they would have to establish a friendly/neutral faction of naga. Which I don’t think is improbable or impossible. I find the idea of a species or race being 100% evil sooo boring.
It seems like we’re getting more Azshara stuff and I don’t think it’s too far of a reach to say maybe some don’t agree with Azshara. Rebels perhaps? Who knows. There are many possibilities.
Furbolgs
Alright, yeah Furbolgs would be a bit silly but I’ve always LOVED them. They’ve been present since Classic. I could easily see one or more of the tribes swearing their allegiance to the alliance. (due to their close relationship with nelfs) Some of them are actually quite intelligent so honestly I don’t think it would be too much of a reach.
The alliance needs more beast races..
The Broken / Krokul
Look, we should have been able to play The Broken a long time ago when we were given Draenei. They are Draenei or..were? I don’t know if they still consider themselves as such. With this new sub-race sort of system we’re getting I think this would be a good idea. They’ve got so much interesting history and with them being brought back into the light with Argussian Reach on Argus..it could be a starting point.
We are cleaning up Argus so perhaps we end up taking in refuges or some start coming to Azeroth now that they’re free. I mean since they’re draenei based it would make since for them to be allied to the alliance but who knows.
Ogres
If i remember correctly they did want to add ogres once. Honestly I have little interest in rolling one but I think it’d be a good choice for the horde. Some of them are relatively intelligent and not all of them are hostile. There are so many different factions they could come from a lot of different places.
Sporelings
This is pretty much an instant “No.” but I think they’re adorable. I loved getting to Exalted with them back in BC. As for how it could be implemented if somehow they did decide to do it.
Well Outland still exists. We most likely still have forces there (on both sides) so when it comes to all out war between the alliance and horde I don’t think it’s too much of a reach to say that both sides will be looking for allies wherever they can get them and that includes reaching out to factions and races we might not have interacted with for a long time.
Sporelings are pretty much a no for many reasons but for the record that’s kind of my stance on old races coming back into the fold in general. Just write them in well and it works.
Arakkoa
This is a long time coming okay. I LOVE Arakkoa. There are friendly Arrakoa populations on both Outland and alternate-Draenor and I could see them allying themselves with one of the factions.
Tuskarr
This is a bit of a silly one I guess but I loved the Tuskarr. Maybe we go to Northrend looking for allies and one side gets them? Maybe they seek us out for some reason. Who knows.
Frenzyheart
They’re not very intelligent, there’s not much out there about them beyond getting to Exalted with their faction but I think they’re pretty neat.
Wolvar
^^^ Same as Frenzyheart (although they might not ally themselves with either side after all those players stealing their children for daily quests ;)
Oracles
More intelligent than their sworn enemy the Frenzyheart but there’s a lack of lore for them, their models make it unlikely, overall both are probably outright no’s.
Jinyu
YES YES YES. I love Jinyu. I don’t think this would be a stretch at all especially since Jinyu are already allied to the alliance (and Hozen with the horde). The Alliance calls on their allies in Pandaria for aid? I could see it.
Ramkahen
Their models kind of make them an automatic no because blizz is lazy but come on who wouldn’t want to play as a cat centaur creature. Also intelligent and have an established culture.
Wildhammer Dwarves
With the inclusion of Dark Iron Dwarves this wouldn’t be too much of a stretch i think.
High Elves
They’re so close to blood elves but since we’re doing this allied race thing it could be a thing
Half-race
no pics
Nuff said. I’m also curious which races can interbreed. You know what would be really interesting. Half Alliance Race/Half Horde Race characters (a half human half orc for example) that like Pandaren have to choose a side OR can remain neutral perhaps?
Klaxxi
They kind of hate anyone but they’re pretty
Hozen
Their models make it unlikely but it would make since if they added Jinyu. Jinyu for alliance, Hozen Ifor Horde just like in MoP
Saberon
CAT PEOPLE. Nuff said. Some of them are relatively intelligent. Might even be an interesting contrast to worgen.(maybe give them to the horde)
please...blizzard I want cat people
Centaur
Unlikely for many reasons
oh good lord would they need a new model. look at dem classic graphics
Dark Elves
There’s not much known about them and some people say they were what night elves were referred to in the very beginning of the game’s creation. But I’m always a slut for elves. It’s always possible to make new lore
Dragons/Dragonkin/Dragonspawn/Drakenoids/etc
Unlikely but god do I want to be a dragon (might make since if they can have a humanoid form)
Gnolls
They’re not really...intelligent enough to be a playable race I think?
Murlocs (lrdhlfdh)
Oddly enough could be possible (disregarding models) since some of them hav human level intelligence
Demonic Races like the Mo’arg
I mean it would be cool but demons are pretty...you know, demonic. However black and white morality is never fun. Demons that have become disillusioned with the Legion? Demons who were forced into it? Could there be “good” demons or demons who are willing to ally themselves with mortals to help themselves somehow at least? I think so
Kobolds
You take my candle for the LAST TIME
Nerubian
Bug people races seem unlikely but they’re certainly intelligent enough, have enough lore to justify putting them
Quillboar
I mean..why not
Satyr
THIS WOULD BE COOL. Although ^ like demonic races they would have to display that there are indeed Satyr that are not completely evil
Dryads
Dryads are fucking adorable and have been present forever.
Saurok
NASTY TRASH LIZARDS. Unlikely due to a lack of intelligence and general shittiness but I love them
Taunka
another kind of Tauren so I think it’s possible
Yaungol
^^^^^ see Taunka
Blackrock Orcs
we have dark iron dwarves so why cant they have blackrock orcs
Mag’har
This one has been a long time coming I think
Vulpera
Who wouldn’t want to be a fox person?
those snake people in the trailer
SNEEPLE. I just really want more beat races okay. I think the alliance in particular has a lack of beast races. Snake people would probably go with the horde tho
those plant people
I just think they’re neat

Cooking headcanons
A L L I A N C E
- Eruina (nelf huntress): like most hunters, supplies all her food by herself. Years in the wilderness taught her how to survive minimalistically, yet use all of what she hunted and gathered. It’s very unlikely to catch her dining at a capital – when she wants food, she goes back to her lone camp in the wilds to eat what she had found. She knows how to savour her food with herbs found from the wilderness, and she never lets anything go to waste. A great cook, taught by nature itself.
- Naieelie (nelf druid): doesn’t give a damn. Since Naieelie likes being in her animal forms more, she also hunts as a bear or a cat. Picks berries and fruit from nature. It’s unknown if she actually knows how to cook. Maybe she just doesn’t care enough, as she eats everything raw, unless offered prepared food by someone. She doesn’t eat Leverette’s mana pies though.
- Eydis (human hunter, 18 by the time of BfA): she’s young, so she still has a lot to learn. She knows basic recipes though, and she also knows how to survive in the wild, since her mentor was Eruina. She enjoys spices a lot.
- Lufeni (nelf DH): she is 10000 years old, so we can assume that she has learned at least the most basic cooking to survive through hard times. However, the need for that has diminished heavily ever since she became a demon hunter.
- Valkÿ (draenei paladin): undoubtedly the best cook from my Alliance squad. She has been trained in exotic cooking techniques and use of spice in Pandaria. She has great knowledge of Outlandish/Draenor cuisine, and she can make at least one meal from every part of the world (or even beyond)! If you want a gourmet meal, you should probably ask her.
H O R D E
- Amaara (undead warlock): in life, she was capable of cooking. Now, however? Is that... someone’s tongue? Why is it green? What did you feed me?
- An’ti-tormen’to (troll shaman): wonderful cook. Her knowledge was passed on to her by mother, the knowledge from generation to generation. She has to make food for her husband and her four children. And they all enjoy her cooking greatly.
- Fereonal (goblin hunter): just the barebones meals needed to survive, of course provided by herself. She doesn’t ever cook crabs though. Her pet is a crawler, after all.
- Lithyllis (belf mage): has never heard of the term „cooking“. Probably something the poor people do. Everything is always brought to her on a silver platter and if she does manage to go hungry, she gets herself her mana pies or better yet, ask her death knight bodyguard to find her some real food.
- Wendeysel (pandaren monk): from my Horde squad, the best cook. Even though her knowledge was initially confined to the Wandering Isle, the mastery of the Pandaren Ways was not lost there. As soon as she got out from the Isle, she started building on what she already knew. She is eager to learn, and may become a master chef in time. Even now, her use of spice and technique is amazing. Wen and Valkÿ should do a cooking contest sometime.

Will Shadowhunters be playable in WoW? Will it be soon?
Hi. So… some guildmates asked me this a few hours ago(yesterday as I’m posting this), and also an anon, and it surprissed me a bit that this same question would happen so much today, but hey, if you want my opinion… here’s a transcription of the conversation.
Do I think Shadow Hunters could be implemented in World of Warcraft as a playable Class?
Well, obviously, if Blizzard wants, yeah, they will come up with any good enough (or not) excuse, and bum, new class.
If you’re asking about story posibilities? As much as the lore states that Shadowhunters are incredibly rare because it’s VERY HARD to become one in the first place, when it comes to game mechanics, most of the “lore impossible shit” becomes no big deal, like the mass ress, DKs and Demon Hunters everywhere… so I don’t think that should be an impediment. Also, remember that you could “play as one” in Warcraft 3, with Rokhan, so perhaps the question is not if, but when. Which…
What could they bring new to the game? What do they do exactly?
Well, Shadowhunters are…a strange combination; they are never really easily fit in one of the already existing Classes, which is part of why I think it’s a very good reason to have them implemented. Anilities depend on the character mostly; For example, Rokhan is as if you combined a shaman with an axe thrower or survival hunter (since they’re melee now), and Vol’jin…. he has been shown to have shaman like abilities in the novels(totems), but also capable of casting shadow magic, using a bow and glaive in melee combat, and I think in the wowpedia they once described his way of being a Shadow hunter as “a combination of a rogue and a Priest”….so it’s kind of complicated, but for simplicity’s sake, let’s say that shadowhunters are more shaman like than any other Class; they comune with the Loa/Elements, can heal their allies and can be melee fighters or casters. Or bowmen, but maybe that’s just Vol’jin.
The thing is, if they were to be implemented in game, it could be truly interesting! currently the armor is divided in 3 Cloth users, 4 leather, 2 mail, 3 Plate, so if SH are mail, given that they’re the most alike to shamans and hunters, it would even out the armor… distribution..? you get the idea. I mean yeah, the’re always shown to have very light armor, usually made of wood and feathers and cloth, but the item Shadowhunter’s mask is mail, and if they can alter gear so DH look shirtless half the time, when that doesn’t happen to the other leather wearing classes, then Blizzard can do so with this. Or create a new armor type, Wood.
Also, with the current changes to the hunters, DH have more in common with them too, there’s a melee spec(surv), and two range dps, one physical (markmanship), the other could be “caster”, since you spend more time in pet related spells than actually hitting anything as a BM Hunter.
So, unlike DH, who only have Tank and Melee DPS as specs, SH could have one Melee DPS spec, one Ranged DPs spec, which could combine spells and arrows and it would be cool, and a Healing spec. And by changing some details here and there, it could become its very own unique thing, and improve the game. It’s true that Rokhan has always been more the “healer” spec, and Vol’jin… depending on the medium he is more experienced in melee (Novels) and others he just stays ranged (in game), so who knows for sure if they could have 3 or 2 specs.
And I’m not including the “Draenor Shadow Hunters” because…they didn’t really do much, so we haven’t seen them actually fight. Same goes for the Siame-quasi.
If they would be implemented as a normal Class or a Hero Class… I don’t know, but it’ll probably be the later.
What races do you thinks could play as SH?
Well, Trolls obviously and…. uh, this is gonna be tricky. Ok, I’m going to outright say that Nelfs will definitevely not be Shadowhunters, because there are already enough Night Elfs running around, and because they can already be two of the rarest classes, Druids and Demon Hunters. Also their aproach to Wild Gods is much different to the troll’s.
I think that the fair thing would be that only one race of each faction could be ShadowHunter, or, shadowhunter would be Horde only, or just Troll, and Blizzard would give another special class to the Alliance, just like Shamans and Paladins where back in Vanilla.
But ok, let’s say that at least one race of each faction should be able to play as SH, for equality’s sake.
On the Horde side it would be Trolls, on the alliance we’ve already discarded Night Elfs, Gnomes have no interest on the wilds or the spirits, so they’re out; Draenei, although the Rangari are shown as skilled hunters, they are more focused on the Naaru rather than Wild Gods. Worgen can be Druids, so they could work… but their aproach to the Wild Gods is more influenced by elven ways, so I don’t think they count either. Pandas we’re not going to count…
That leaves us Dwarves and Humans. The Wild Hammer Clan brought Shammans to the Dwarfs, they are storngly linked to nature and also they happen to live very close to a Trol tribe, so, maybe the animal spirits of the mountains are willing to comunicate with them? But it just doesn’t sound right…
And as to humans… My first thought was no? but then I remembered the whole Lo’Gosh and Varian Wrynn business, which is different from the Worgen, since they were “cursed” with the wolf form and Varian was “blessed” with wolf like agility… also there’s this , which I think it’s just Blizzard reusing the name because it’s cool and really doesn’t have any bigger significance. Honestly, the Vault of the Wardens dungeon kind of drives me crazy because you have to fight “Shadowhunters” to reach this guy
and…. I swear Blizzard is just testing my patience. Or wildly trolling us.
Speaking of Tyrathan, unless what happened in Shadows of the Horde somehow makes the Loa have some sort of interests in humans, and Blizzard just uses it as an excuse, I really do think that Shadowhunters have no place as a Class in the Alliance. (Well if Blizzard wants, and the Alliance babies cry enough, they can pull anything out of their asses and justify anything by making up lore, so who am I to say it couldn’t happen….)
If they’re ever to be implemented, in my opinion, they should be a Troll exclusive class, or at most, avaiable to Taurens and Orcs, and even that doesn’t convince me. And if you’re going to protest why should only Trolls get all the fun, honestly I think lately we have been disrespected enough to deserve a compensation.
And Finally
When do you think it could happen?
Um…. so if I happen to be correct about a few theories I have, that are posted in my tumblr,
Anyway, if we are reading the signals right, and the Loas intent to have the Troll tribes united to defeat the old Gods once and for all… the Shadowhunter could be avaiable in the expansion centering around the fight against the Old Gods. Legion is like a big experiment with both the Weapons and the Classs Order Halls, and for the most part it’s turning out succesful, so just imagine an Order Class for Shadowhunters full of tiki and rush’kah masks, troll style glaives, maybe Bwonsamdi chilling with Sen’jin in some part of it, just getting to know more about the Loa in general, and recovering a powerfull glaive from a legendary Shadowhunter of times past…. it would be AWESOME. XD
I don’t know if this will be the exp after Legion, or maybe the one after that, but given that we have the certainty that the Old Gods will break free, and Vol’jin is coming back anyways, I think the posibilities are very high for this to be sooner than later. But who knows.
And this is what I think of the whole thing! Thanks for reading, and let’s cross our fingers so we get lucky with this :)

🔥 (gimme an unpopular personal/ooc opinion about each of the warcraft characters you rp?)
SEND ME 🔥+ a topic and I’ll give you an unpopular opinion // accepting.
OKAYI don’t know if I have unpopular opinions for all of them but? I’ll try
Azshara
Azshara is clever. Azshara is powerful. Azshara didn’t outsmart N’zoth. Sure, the Warbringers made it look cool and all, but in the end, she did just what he wanted her to in exchange for a title N’zoth probably couldn’t care less about. That’s not to say she’s stupid or anything, I in fact think she’s aware of her actual position and how disposable it is — but I’ve seen many people cheer as if she had really outsmarted him and… well, she didn’t. She needed him to survive as much as he needed her to be freed (more, actually, because he could always use someone else).
Also please don’t say she was corrupted by him. At most, she was corrupted by power, way back when she was Queen of Kalimdor. N’zoth didn’t have to do anything to make her evil, she was already evil don’t excuse her actions thanks
Thalyssra
It makes all sense for Thalyssra and the Nightborne to go to the Horde. No, that does not make her ungrateful if the player character who aided her was Alliance. I played it as Alliance (my main is Alliance, I only play Horde for characters I like, like her, or when I’m playing with my bf bc he’s Horde) and I honestly don’t understand the feeling of betrayal some people have towards her for choosing the Horde. Even if you, an Alliance player, were the one to help her, that isn’t all she has to take into consideration when choosing the future of her people. Yeah, Sylvanas is doing a bunch of shit Thalyssra doesn’t subscribe to at all, but she had no idea what Sylvanas was truly like (there’s even that one Valtrois quote that says they had been reassured Sylv didn’t raise anyone unwilling and that the Forsaken followed her only bc they wanted to) or that she would, you know, burn the world tree and begin a faction war. Even if an Alliance player character helped her during the insurrection, the faction that stuck with her and her people well beyond freeing Suramar of demons was the Horde. There’s indication Lady Liadrin continued to aid them even after, even if she didn’t have to, while her Alliance counterpart (for reasons that I find just as valid) acted like it was Thalyssra that had to go after her. She didn’t betray Alliance players by making that choice. She only chose those who actually offered friendship to her people.
Alexstrasza
Is there? An unpopular opinion about Alex? Idk. My unpopular opinion is: blizzard please she wouldn’t ever empower random objects to fight evil she knows where this ended with the dragon soul honestly canon is wrong and I will fight it because she wouldn’t at all and I know there’s the heal Azeroth thing but she should at least doubt it. And also question how exactly giving power to a necklace would help heal Azeroth if there’s still a giant sword stuck in her.
Anyways, the Dragon mom is the best and she deserves better than this, but this is (I hope) a popular opinion.
Alleria
What is an unpopular opinion about Alleria? What is a popular opinion about Alleria? Uh I really don’t know.
Unpopular opinion but she’s the best Windrunner
Tyrande
I’ll give you more unpopular Tyrande opinions because I couldn’t actually write one for Alleria and I have a couple for Tyrande asjkdfkasndfkjasdn
Tyrande is in equal power levels to Illidan and Malfurion
Tyrande isn’t perfect. That doesn’t mean she’s the awful person fandom tends to claim she is. Yes, she is prejudiced against some of the other races, specially of people with strong ties to magic, but she has actual reasons based on the experiences of her people to be like that. And honestly? She isn’t even as prejudiced as people claim her to be anymore. Yes she was awful in Suramar but uh have you guys ever stopped to think it wasn’t as much about race as it was about it being the city she was born and raised into and that was her home and she loved but had to leave because of the demons and the war of the ancients and thought lost forever in the sundering alongside many people she had known, only to discover it was actually fine because some of the magical upper class made a shield to protect the city of the demons and left other people who weren’t highborne to die and she had to fight a war and lead her people while they just went beneath a shield? yes, awful, but it is more because it is emotional than purely prejudice thanks for coming to my ted talk
Tyrande can kick ass even without using her priestess/Elune powers
Tyrande should be the sole leader of the kaldorei and the co-ruler thing is garbage because Malfurion was a weak bitch who slept for ten thousand years and then he’s back and suddenly he rules their people as much as she does? pathetic
Tyrande had no reason at all to trust Thalyssra’s word and she never intended to offend her, it was just raw honesty
Tyrande should have killed Nathanos in Darkshore because there’s no way he’s on her level. Killing a Val’kyr isn’t at all justice enough and she (and the nelfs) deserve more than that.
Tyrande is the best and also she could step on me I’d let her

WoW Ask Meme! 1, 6, 10, 46, 51, 60, 66, 95. Yes. I'm nosy. What?
I’ll just do Diily x)
1) The basics. What is your character’s race, class, gender, height, build, skin/pelt color, hair color, eye color?
Night Elf, hunter, female, 7'2 (had to look up heights for nelfs hehe), she’s fit but in more of a lean way than a buff bodybuilder way. purple hair, silver glowy night elf eyes
6) How do they usually dress when not in armor? Do they wear jewelry? How important is style and fashion to them?
Casual wear. A tunic/shirt and some pants. She dresses for comfort and practicality when not in armor. She doesn’t mind dressing up once in a while though. It’s a nice feeling.
She wears her legendary ring from Khadgar at all times (not in game because it’s outdated now but I digress). It’s very dear to her and also she died to make the damn thing so she’s sure as hell gonna wear it sdkhdkfh.
Hm, she has a locket Alaluria made for her when they were younger. too but she keeps it in a safe because it’s rather delicate and she doesn’t want to have it fall off somewhere in the wilderness.
She really doesn’t care about fashion trends. If she likes something she’ll wear it regardless of what people think.
10) Do they practice any customs of their race, clan/tribe, and/or current culture? How do they feel about their heritage? How do they relate to the common culture of their region?
She strongly believes in and reveres Elune like most night elves.
She’s very proud of heritage.
She’s proud of the kind of people her parents were. They were kind, noble, brave, loving people and she will always be proud to be their child. Her mother in particular is her hero.
46) Who do they count among their friends? Do they have a best friend?
Her pets, my other alliance ocs for the most part no matter how much they might bicker, her sisters. Best friend who’s not Khadgar, her sisters or an animal would probably be Erlaina. Who’s also her ex girlfriend but that’s a whole other story.
She’s proud to be considered a friend by Tyrande and Anduin Wrynn as well.
51) Would they ever date or sleep with a member of another race? Another faction?
Yes, she’s in love with a human after all! If she loves someone and is attracted to them she doesn’t care about anything else.
She’s rather wary of members of the horde but if she did meet someone on that side and fall in love with them she would pursue it without question.
60) Do they have a crush on any lore figure?
Khadgar of course! She had the biggest crush on Tyrande for the longest time though. Shhhh
66) What is the biggest lie they’ve ever told, and what were the consequences?
More like what’s the biggest lie they continue to tell.
“I’m fine.”
The consequences are a lot of suffering, poor mental health and l lack of sorely needed support and TLC.
She’s usually a fairly honest person.
95) What fate would they decide for Garrosh Hellscream if it were up to them?
She would have offered him a chance at redemption and if he didn’t accept and show genuine remorse for the atrocities he committed, she would have executed him then and there. (that’s the more likely option lbr lmao) Quickly and painlessly but without hesitation.
#asks#ch: diily wintermoon#my ocs#thank you for sending these in <3#send as many as you'd like tbh#I love talking about my ocs#highpriestessbriyanna
