SO FOR TWO DAYS AT MINIMUM#BUT THEN YOU PLACE THE TIME WHERE SHUNKUN WAS AWAY FROM HOME#WHICH IS DAYS. PLURAL DAYS#AND THE MASSACRE COULD ONLY HAVE POSSIBLY STARTED THE MORNING OF THE DAY HE COMES BACK#because the other kids that survived woke up that same day and were extremely confused so that didnt happen the moment shunkun left#it pretty much happened shortly before arriving and thus the same day he left#which . by the way nothing to do i think it was intentionally premeditated so all the participants of the friends game could be there#BUT THE POINT IS. MULTIPLE DAYS IT HAD BEEN MULTIPLE DAYS SINCE THOSE DREAMS STARTED#so the mere idea that there was a slim point where things could have possibly been different if if that call for help would have possibly#jesus cheisr they mess me up#THE SLIM PERIOD OF TIME IS ITS AWFUL its .#AND THERES MORE OF THIS THERES MORE OF THIS IN ME REGARDING THE TRAGEDY OF THESE TWO BEING FOILS#BUT THIS IS A POST OF A FLUFF DRAWING SO LETS LEAVE IT THERE SHALL WE😁😁😁#they make me sick. i will die /lighthearted

#artists on tumblr#art#illustration#digital art#digital drawing#dnd#dungeons and dragons#homebrew#original art#my art#my ocs#Setting: Heim#I drew these a couple of years ago now i think#but since i'm drawing stuff for this setting again i'm reuploading with updated information cause the last one is outdated#I will say right off the bat however#If you compare my designs to already existing IPs i will block you on sight#the last time i posted these they got compared to a piece of media i really dislike#and that comment alone made me fall out of love with this setting for almost two years#so please. do not. it's rude and unnecessary#These are the artefacts my setting and its story is largely centered around#Tethry is credited with creating them (Even though he didn't)#They were gifted by Tethry to each of the largest cities in the world to serve as power generators supplying arcane power to the whole city#immediately pushing the four sister cities into prosperity and progress. leaving literally everyone else in the dust#which caused some understandable tension between countries that already had a bit of a strained relationship to begin with#There is SO MUCH to these little trinkets and their link to Tethry and how finding them essentially fucked up his whole entire life#You'd think becoming the world's most renowned arcanist would be the best thing that ever happened to an aspiring caster#but to some poor dude just trying to study arcane language. stumbling across the magical equivalent of the demon core#was very much not on his wishlist#especially not dealing with the consequences of trying to make sure no one actually realises how nasty they have the potential to be#which. someone inevitably does

The Humble Opalite...........................
#summoner oc#moe used to have an opalite necklace as part of its design! to match mine i wear irl#but the thing about drawing a chara over and over again is eventually you break them down to their bare essentials.#moe's outfit is already so complex even just that one element causes the design to feel Too Messy#esp in where your eyes are supposed to be drawn. esp in how the necklace would dangle and swing around#the golden chain/halo is way more focal to moe's entire design philosophy and is a subtle thing that draws the eyes#but doesn't get in the way! even when wearing the robe/ESP w the bowtie!! which is tied loosely#like!!! i think i've done a good job at spacing it out and also making the chain non-intrusive#RAMBLING THOUGH. i did reuse the opalite esq design for its staff which reads like an orb#and may be one??? straight up??? either way i had opalites in mind when designing it#bc of the significance to me (epic stim object i've cherished for years) and the resemblance to orbs in game!#moe's design feels p set (save for like special occasions i guess LMFAO) so it would be cool!!!#to see if anyone else can make use of this!!!

moth and compass! the project I've been working on with @natdrinkstea this year-and-some!!
I believe I've introduced our dramatis personae — Moth, an Inquisitive Young Protagonist; Goodfellow, a Ghost; Luna, a Lighthouse-Keeper; and Peregrine, an Ordinary Cat — a few times before, but I still don't think we've every really talked about the story!
and that is because it has taken. quite some time to actually figure out what Goeth On in moth and compass proper. it's a mystery-fantasy, that'll probably be best told as a scrapbook or a puzzle game or a thing along those lines*, and a somewhat purposefully-nostalgic ghost story. it's everyday magic and the haunted sea and learning to look beyond what you think is there and bubblegum pop road trips and creepy creatures in the shadows and the kind of navigational equipment that, if you use it just right, might take you places you'd never otherwise be able to see...

#I was thinking I would draw this thought instead of typing it out#but Im too hyper rn and cant wait so just saying it is#essentially. barring the azata path which i consider 100% non canon - the 'nothing wrong ever happens' timeline if you will#Ellu has three possible endings#I've mentioned Shyka ending (most common- imagine 90% of all possible timelines)#and the alive timeline (one in a million chance essentially)#but I havent mentioned that 9.99 something % gap#that's the 'he just jumps into the wound without opening a crossroads' ending#in thinking of playing that out now#borne of him not being well enough to value his own life- still too scared to throw his cursed plan away entirely-#but at the same time valuing the goal everyone he loves's been fighting for too much#whatever retribution for not using the essences can't find him in oblivion -> his mind#oc: elluin

#I MIGHT ACTUALLY DRAW THIS ONE#i wanna draw a fairy tail esque mini comic of a girl falling in love w a star and the star dying#but in reality the star doesn’t die but instead takes the form of a human girl and loses its memories#the star is drawn to the lonely girl that loved her#but the girl grows ill one day and the entire kingdom is under chaos as there is a dangerous illness spreading around#the illness is essentially patches of darkness spreading all over the human body until it eventually engulfs the whole human body and#killing the person#the star realises its own identity and what kind of entity it is#it then turns itself into a blast of light that shines all over the kingdom and cures humanity#sacrificing itself for its beloved#🥳#fairy tale* lol

life is going to an art museum only to have something happen that forces you to distract yourself in the world of art and when it comes time to think you try to think of anything but yourself and you land yourself in a rabbit hole of fandom mischaracterization that went identified too late and is engraved in the thoughts of many, only noticed by few, and soon to be hopefully captured on a digital canvas—a free place for the muddled thoughts between my head and my pencil to live.

a really interesting film from the 70's that deals with faith within the black community of the deep south... definitely not a typical 'horror' imo lol still worth a watch tho!
