But ofc (^o^) (it's going to be long so strap in. Specifically Sorayne, and ill only do dlcs where ive diverged the canon; Dog/Emrys arent mine and belong to my friends so their ramble will be from them and what theyve played)

TES ONLINE

Sorayne:

Redguard; Templar - Bastion of Light; 23 at the start of main quest; Bisexual, Panromatic

MAIN QUEST

Sorayne was (and is) my Vestige from the first time I've played it around 2 years ago.

She was born in a small village on the Hammerfell/High Rock border, where she soon met a Breton named Einar, who would become her best friend. She grew up very religious, and worshipped Kynareth in specific, though she respected all Aedric gods.

Around the age of 18, she went off on a voyage/pilgrimage, leaving Einar behind in the small village they grew up in.

When she returned, Einar was nowhere to be found, after asking around, she found out that he was prosecuted for Daedra worship.

Struck with grief, she left once more, this time with no plan to return. For the longest time she made a living from bounties and selling extra game. She did this until she was 23, in which she left for Daggerfall.

(We all know what's coming next, yes?)

Anyway, on the docks, she bumps into a hooded figure who told her about some benefactor and the fate of the world.

Here's where canon slightly diverges; Sorayne, although sacrificed, isn't sacrificed by Mannimarco, but an unnamed Worm Cultist.

She ends up in Coldharbour about a week and a half before Lyris meets her (and Dog/Emrys) during a jailbreak.

Problem upon returning to Nirn is she doesn't remember who she is. She didn't have the Prophet's protection initially, but rather her deity's (which was weaker in Molag Bal's domain). This led to her slowly descending into madness rather than almost instantly. (coughtheballadofjanedoewhocough)

Rest of the Main Quest proceeds as normal, with Sorayne breaking down about who she was and why she feels longing for someone. Why she feels an ache in her heart yet no memory to correlate it to.

She's begged The Prophet to show her who she was when he showed her, Dog, and Emrys the vision/echo of the past.

One night she cried to Lyris and Sai about her missing memories.

Memories are regained when the Amulet of Kings is used against Molag Bal and her soul merges with The Prophet (that's what happens right? I have don't mq in a while)

Dark Brotherhood

She was reluctant to join the guild of assassins. In her defense: Naryu.

However, Dog was rather excited for the idea, and didn't shy away from the opening task. Begrudgingly, she followed Dog's footsteps and also assassinated someone. (Although if you ask her, saying that was an assassination would be an insult to the name)

She enjoyed chatting with those that welcomed the conversation. She didn't like the insults she could see behind Elam Drals' eyes.

She felt sick when she saw the body of Cimbar. Cheap Assassin or not (who was she kidding. She was one as well); no one deserved that. However, she saw the golden chains and immediately felt an Aedra's chosen was at work.

When Hildegard ran off, she was worried sick. She's lost one friend she wouldn't loose another.

She was enraged when The Black Dragon killed Mirabelle, although she tells herself it's because she had no power to try to stop her, but really it's because she began to care for Mirabelle.

She felt much more satisfaction when killing Lyra/The Black Dragon. And admittedly she was tired of running and killing. Yet of course there was one more soul to be sent to The Void.

She died a few times during the final battle, but much less that Emrys and Dog did. She never wants to remember what it feels like as your lungs fill up with your own blood.

Summerset

As I've mentioned in a previous post, Veya didn't go evil and instead was on the Vestige trio's side during the storyline. Summerset proceeds as normal, with Sorayne feeling a mix of hatred and guilt towards Leythen and the entire scenario with Valsirenn.

Sorayne, Dog, Emrys have no quarrels in ending the Court of Bedlam. Atleast not until Tundilwen has a little chat with Sorayne (when you first get the option to make the connection of Tundilwen being Veya). Sorayne refused to believe it. She later tried to plead with them that she was told they were dead. That they couldn't possibly hold her at fault for the rumors of others when she was gone for the better part of the year.

Later in the story but before the conversation with Tundilwen after Nocturnal's betrayal to the Court, Clavicus Vile reaches out to Sorayne with whispers of promises. Promises for a reality where Einar never fell under Nocturnal's control. Promises where she never turned out the monster she was.

She was on the edge of giving in when Veya found out about her thoughts. aka Veya does what Sorayne tried to do during Vvardenfell story zone questline.

Gold Road

Skipping to here bc I don't remember what happened in Necrom so I idr what was that and what was Gold Road. However, I will admit, there is some recent Avowed inspo mixed in to how diverged this canon gets

Anyway

Sorayne signed the contract with Hermaeus Mora. She trusted Emrys enough to trust his Prince. And once again, she was ensnared in a plot that concerns reality.

However, when she met Ithelia in that inn, lost, confused, mortal in all but death. She couldn't convince herself to not care about the Forgotten Prince. Not when she saw herself. She wondered if she walked Ithelia's path in another reality. She figured she could play the role well. She helped Ithelia regain some sense of who she is/was without a second thought. Something she commonly did and was always told it'd bite her in the ass one day.

During the adventure and travels across different paths, Sorayne respected Ithelia to a degree higher than Hermaeus Mora. That respect only increased when Sorayne had collapsed after the final path and Ithelia was the only to rent a room and take her to bed. Ithelia was still there when she awoke, and Sorayne was embarrassed with how...curious...Ithelia looked at her.

She told Dog about what happened and Dog understood. Dog was one for chaos. If she could twist the strings she would without a care of any consequences. The only real issue was trying to persuade Emrys. The Dunmer called Dog and Sorayne insane for entertaining the idea of siding with Ithelia.

Anyway, come final battle with Ithelia, Torvesaard (i hoe that's how u spell it. I'm not looking it up.) never absorbs her power, as Sorayne and Dog (and Emrys) had gotten Mora and Ithelia to talk rather than fight. They find out that the whole reason Ithelia was imprisoned in the first place was because the Princes also feared Jyggalag's power and hindered him by cursing him with the reality of Sheogorath. And therefore, led to Ithelia being too much for reality whenever madness ruled over order.

Long Story short, Ithelia is kind of put into a scenario like Jyggalag. This lasts until HoK (Hermes) mantles Sheogorath, and Ithelia is now free to be free

Crushes really hard on Naryu and she knows it. And when she met Ashur? Also crushed. But did so respectfully. (That post i have abt Val and Sorayne; yes these are the two Morag Tong.)

Sorayne was the one shot in the head by Inigo, not Crow.

Sorayne, when hearing from Kaidan and Gabrielle about their traumas in relation to Dagon, was ready to square up with the Prince. They get to the shrine during "Old Love, Old Hate" and Sorayne's glaring fucking daggers at the shrine.

During "The Cause" cc content, Sorayne desperately wanted to run off and find either Dagon, Feah'al or Rosalind.

She was forced to stay by Gabrielle.

Dog

Khajiit; Nightblade - Umbral Assassin; 21 at the start of Main Quest. (Any Pronouns); Pansexual; Panromantic

Dog's backstory is still in the process of being made.

Dog almosted immediately became friends with Cadwell. Much to Emrys' horror.

Dog's least favorite person in the Five (four) Companions was Abnar. He was too controlling and self centered for them.

At the end of Morrowind/the Vvardenfell zone story, Dog actually went on the ship to Summerset with Veya. The two actually bonded and got really close to each other during the journey.

Dog became an Eye for the Queen rather early in life. And they and Razum-dar were a thing.

Naryu was equally annoyed with both of them during "The Sweetroll Killer" quest, the only buffer being Sorayne as Emrys wasn't present for this.

Why do you think they were so on board with betraying the contract with Hermaeus Mora?

Dog acts often without thinking (except for what the funniest action would be).

At the time of Skyrim when Dog heard about Dragons, Dog practically bolted for Skyrim.

They met Emrys somewhere in Cyrodiil and then traveled together.

Dog respects Caryalind. As they used to be a Queen's Eye, they felt a similar duty to the Dominion Prince.

Dog's least favorite follower is Xelzaz. Reason? They don't like the Telvanni.

Emrys

Dark Elf (Dunmer); Arcanist - Desolation Scholar (bit of training in healing, lost interest in it when he became practically immortal); 120 at the start of Main quest; (He/Him); Greysexual, Cupioromantic

Theme: "Alive I" by Precious Jewel Amor

Jerk in the beginning of Main Story. He's snarky in a way that puts Abnar Tharn to shame.

Used to be in a cult dedicated to Hermaeus Mora and left for Davon's Watch one day because he was bored.

Had two close friends in said cult (currently unnamed)

Desperately wants to wring Mannimarco's skin ever since he woke up in Coldharbour.

Mad that his powers weren't the strongest in Coldharbour.

The Prophet calls him Soulless. So now he could brag to his friends about it. (They constantly poked at him for not expressing much emotion).

Dog was the bane of his existence for the longest time. "That damned cat won't shut the fuck up about *whatever has Dog's interest*"

Isnt huge on being a comfort person until he was the one sent to talk to Veya. (They're siblings your honor)

Still has an attitude around the time of Skyrim, though it's much less.

Keeps his mouth fucking SHUT around Gabrielle. He isn't trying to piss her off. He likes his life. Gets teased by Varrick for it.

Crow: "Mora wants me to-"

Emrys: "FUCK!!"

TES OBLIVION

Hermes

Imperial; Barbarian; 28 at the beginning of Oblivion; Androsexual

Unfortunately; backstory is still being made

Was imprisoned for a false accusation of murder. Guard had no care of him or what cell he went into, hence why he was thrown into the cell with the escape route.

When he rescued Martin from Kvatch he was annoyed. He didn't want to be wrapped up in this. He hated the gods for the irony of HIM having to guide a priest of Akatosh.

During the trip to Weynon Priory, Hermes begins to appreciate Martin's company. And when they went to Cloud Ruler Temple, he would consider the two of them friends. Throughout the main quest, the two grew closer and before the battle where you close the big Oblivion Gate (give me a break, I haven't played in months) Martin makes a promise with Hermes that after everything is through and he is titles Emperor, he offer a similar position to Hermes. (They gay af. Good for them. Yet Dagon is homophobic 🙄)

Dont remember much about him, but he did grow close to Lucien LaChance before he was killed.

As that one Dagoth Ur guy said "The Champion was mad before he even set foot on the Shivering Isle".

When he mangled Sheogorath, and Ithelia was also set loose, he just looked at her and said, very exhausted "THERES ANOTHER ONE OF US!?"

TES SKYRIM

Crow (Birthname: Eldoria)

Nordic Imperial; doesn't have a specific class but is a minor Pyromaniac; might as well be 16 at the start of Skyrim; (She/Her); some fucking flavor of queer idk

Was born in Rivenspire, with the name Eldoria, and was there for most of her childhood, she has a twin brother named Vivian, and an older brother by nine years named Ezio.

One night when she was 5, Thalmor agents intruded on their home and killed her father (ex blade). Eldoria was afraid and out of instinct, triggered fire magic (related to her dragon soul being one of a fire dragon). Terrified of her now burning hands, she stumbled against the wooden wall. Which surprise surprise, caught fire.

Unknown to her at the time, Vivian awoke when she had first collided with the wall in terror and was quick to run away at the first sight of flames. It was only the twins and their father at home. Their mother was at the Imperial City doing merchant things, and their brother was with a friend training for the Legion.

Vivian ran to tell guards who were stationed night watch about the disaster at his home.

Back to Eldoria/Crow, she was surrounded by flames, yet besides her hand and forearms, didn't burn at her, simply everything around her.

A guard was able to brave the flames and get to her. They calmed her down to where she was no longer actively using magic, and carried her from the burning house.

More lore that I haven't really written, except for the fact that she finds out her mother kind of set her father up after an argument a month before the incident.

Their mother eventually remarried to a wealthier man, who had a prestarted family, yet still she was the oldest at the house (her brother was now with the Legion so she technically is second oldest but he isn't around often, and their mother and father are mostly absent. Doing...things. with eachother).

Time Skip to about 15 years old, Eldoria gets attacked one night at an inn by a superstitious patron for her freakish "elven" looks. (White eyes, albeit rare, were seen in Altmer. Never humans.)

Eldoria defends herself well enough but is kicked out for disrupting the "peace" of the inn.

Later that week, Eldoria and Vivian sneak out to a small grove they discovered years ago.

As they passed through the wooded area surrounding their special spot, a group of friends (as well as unnamed patron from the inn) spot them. They ambush them with the intent to kill.

Vivian gets his throat sliced by someone before Eldoria could burn them alive. When it's only her standing, she cradles her twin's head in her hands. She doesn't want to believe he's dead. He couldn't be. She cries herself to sleep, not a hard feat after her magicka usage. She doesn't awake in the woods however, instead it's a peaceful room with a warm ambience. The bed she's in is comfortable, her body ached, specifically where she probably either had broken ribs or a cut from a dagger. She didn't know. Didn’t remember the specifics.

When she tried to shift to see why her side ached so much, the door creaked open to reveal a Redguard (go on. Guess who it is.) who is carrying a steaming bowl of what smells like chicken and...something.

"Glad to see you're awake. You sleep like the dead you know?"

Eldoria let the Redguard, Sorayne, take care of her. Her name wasn't asked, which she appreciated. Even as nice as a person Sorayne seemed to be, giving your name to a stranger probably isn't the best idea.

Eventually, the offer to stay with her and her friends comes up after Eldoria says she doesn't wish to return home. She takes it. And its then that a name is asked for.

Her mind blanked. She knew running away with the same name, same look, is stupid, and so she hesitated. Thinking. Perhaps a name that alluded to everything that led her here, her...misfortunes.

"Crow, I think."

Not quite a year later, Sorayne offers to take Crow to Skyrim for a trip she was doing. Crow took it and the two went to Skyrim, and camped just outside of Darkwater Crossing. There they heard the sounds of Imperials.

Crow gets spotted by a Battlemage and Sorayne puts herself between the two.

This makes a minor altercation where Sorayne and Crow ultimately loose. Sorayne gets "killed" and the battlemage hits Crow with an Elemental Blast spell, which finds its mark on her left shoulder and burns her upper left arm, left chest, lower left face.

Skyrim then Skyrims

The civil war doesn't really happen (this is stuff I'm still writing, but ik Crow gets her dumbass imprisoned by the Thalmor)

She meets the modded followers I've posted about. And gets close with Gabrielle (not as close as Sorayne winkwinknudgenudge /j), Kaidan, Remiel, and Varrick in particular.

Cant think about Crow right now, but the timeline is

In the center of the fortress was a kennel [would em say kennel? pen?] There were a dozen and a half people leaning over the fence, letting the dogs lick portions of their meal from their fingers and cooing over their tongues. It was sweet. The Ash Warriors had told Emery these were war dogs, but they looked like babies just now. Safely locked in the heart of the wrecked fortress.

"Hey, you there." Em jumped back, stepping away from where she'd been on her tip-toes to see over the fence. "You're one of the new Grey Wardens, aren't you?" An old woman was tying knots alone on a stump, just outside a doghouse. "Come here." She sounded used to being listened to. Emery spared a glance at the humans across the pen before hopping over the bars.

"Aisleen went down last night and without her this little one started scavenging the darkspawn. I took care of Aisleen—don't you worry about her—but without your help, I'll have to kill this one too."

"I don't know anything about mabari."

The woman raised her eyebrows at Em's incredulous [good word technically, but not vibes wise. skeptical doesn't get across the surprise im aiming for though…] face. "I guessed," she sniffed. "Good you don't have to, you just need to pick something up for me."

Puppy Love - EmerySaks7 - Agent Carter (TV) [Archive of Our Own]

Peggy Carter was beginning to think she and her recently acquired companion would never be seen. After arriving more than half an hour ago, she had been ushered into a small exam room where she and her charge sat and waited.

Finally, the door opened. A petite woman with light brown walked in with a tablet in her hand. She wore a white coat with stitching over the left pocket. Dr. Angela Martinelli, DVM. She smiled at Peggy and then bent down to pat the dog that rushed toward her, tail wagging back and forth as it pawed excitedly at her coat.

"Well, hello to you, sweetie."

She looked back up at Peggy. "Hi, I'm Dr. Martinelli. I'll take care of your kiddo today. What brings you in?"

Peggy smiled as the golden retriever continued to lavish the veterinarian with affection. "I'd like to get a wellness exam done for her and ensure she's healthy."

Dr. Martinelli beamed and glanced at the chart on the counter. "Excellent! How old is your dog?"

"I don't know," Peggy admitted. "I found her nine weeks ago and have been trying to find her owner ever since."

"You've been fostering her for nine weeks?" Dr. Martinelli looked up from the chart." That's impressive."

Peggy frowned. "It is?"

"Most people try for a few days and then either rehome the dog or take it to the pound." She smiled at Peggy.

"Oh, I couldn't bear to take her to the pound," Peggy said. "I had her scanned for a chip, but she doesn't have one."

"Fliers?"

"They're plastered throughout my neighborhood," Peggy confirmed. "I also posted her picture across social media." She laughed. "I didn't realize there were so many pet groups and websites."

Dr. Martinelli grinned. "So many! But that's the best way to get her information out there if someone is looking for her."

Peggy sighed. "I haven't had a single promising lead, though."

"Sometimes people dump dogs." The vet, whose tag read Dr. Martinelli, sighed. "It stinks, but there's not much you can do about it." She leaned down and scratched the dog behind her ears. "She's sweet, though."

Peggy smiled. "She is, but she's loud."

Dr. Martinelli laughed. "Of course! She's a golden retriever."

Peggy shrugged. "Is that normal for the breed?"

"It is," Dr. Martinelli nodded. "Does she grunt a lot?"

Peggy's mouth dropped open. "Yes! I thought perhaps something was wrong with her, so I brought her in today."

Dr. Martinelli shook her head. "Perfectly normal. It's how they communicate." She knelt in front of the dog and examined her teeth. "Great dental, hardly any tartar buildup." She ran her hands over the dog's coat and felt its belly. "She seems to be in great shape. Young, too. I wouldn't say more than two years old."

"Does she need shots or worming or..." Peggy waved a hand. "Whatever it is that dogs need?"

Dr. Martinelli stood up and chuckled. "First time?"

"Is it that obvious?"

"Only to a trained professional," the doctor grinned.

Peggy felt her cheeks redden. She knew nothing about caring for a dog; now, the adorable veterinarian knew it, too.

Dr. Martinelli placed a hand against Peggy's arm. "Nothing to be embarrassed about, Mrs. Carter. We all have to start somewhere."

"It's Miss," Peggy instantly corrected her. "And please, call me Peggy." Was it her imagination, or did Dr. Martinelli perk up at that information?

"Well, Peggy," the doctor smiled, "You're doing great. I assume you're keeping her until you find her owner?"

Peggy nodded.

"In that case, I recommend we do a few small things like basic vaccinations and worming to ensure she's healthy and safe while she lives with you. A second dose won't hurt her if she's had the vaccines. And, if you end up keeping her, it's one less thing you have to come back for." Dr. Martinelli paused and gazed at her. "Of course, that's only if you decide to use our clinic for her primary care."

Peggy felt her face grow warm. Dr. Martinelli's affable nature put her at ease. It also didn't hurt that she had the most adorable dimples, which appeared whenever she smiled.

"I hadn't gotten that far, Dr. Martinelli," Peggy admitted.

"It's Angie," she told her, and the dimples came out in full force.

"Angie," Peggy echoed. "How lovely."

"Thank you," Angie laughed. "Now," she said, lowering herself before the dog. "How about you sit with your foster mom, and I'll be back with some shots in a few minutes?"

Peggy watched the dog excitedly wag its tail before giving Angie a wet kiss.

"Such a good girl," Angie cooed.

Peggy smiled. "Goldie does that to me all the time, too."

"Goldie?" Angie looked up at Peggy.

Peggy blushed. "It's what I've been calling her."

"You named the dog?" Angie teased.

"Well, I could hardly keep calling her Dog."

"Uh-huh," Angie said. She stood back up and grabbed her tablet. "I'll be back with the shots, and then we can talk more about Goldie and her future care."

Peggy blinked. "But, I'm not sure I'm keeping her."

"I see."

"What?"

Angie smirked. "You're not keeping the dog you've already named."

Peggy rolled her eyes. "Are you always this sarcastic to your patients?"

Angie stepped through the door and smiled. "Only to the ones I really like," she told her before closing the door.

Peggy stood there, grinning like an idiot. Goldie barked at her, and Peggy looked down. "I like her, too, girl," she murmured. "Maybe we should ask her on a doggy date when she returns?"

Goldie licked Peggy's hand and then pushed her head against her palm.

"Yes, I like you, too," Peggy told her.

Goldie looked up at her with wide eyes, and Peggy relented. "All right. I might even love you, but that's not public information. Okay?"

Goldie barked in response, and Peggy laughed, knowing that all her secrets were safe with her new friend.

Grandma Adriana came to visit

Of course Nika didn't felt the need to put on some clothes in front of her mother-in-law. She at least made some tacos so they could all have dinner together. Diego's father was too busy with work to come.

Loki got sick and Diego took him to the vet. The treatment was obviusly expensive since Diego will only accept the best for his baby.

Rainn and Emery finally got a family dynamic and it seem they get along pretty well.

I love Valkyrie Nesta, I love that she found her people, but I absolutely hate that she became a warrior and wanting it in the end

I hate that it's sort of made out that it was where she wanted to end up or the right path for her

I hate that she wanted to travel, she wanted to wield a strength outside of swords and brute force, she seemed to just want peace after everything she has been through, but in the end she will always be fighting

I hate that it was set up by the IC to tame her and she ended up embracing it

I hate that she will always be a weapon now, she will always be monitored and kept in check by them

People want her to be the General of the Valkyries and yes she would be amazing but look at Cassian, he's the General of the entire Night Court army and he's basically Rhysand's lap dog. That is absolutely not the end I want for her

She could have been a scholar, an emissary (an actual emissary not whatever the hell she is now), a dance teacher, a court liaison, an advisor, a librarian, she could have opened her own bookstore like Emerie has her shop, she could have opened her own tavern a place for people to dance and escape safely like she needed

Her character, her actual character not whatever SJM tried to warp her into throughout ACOSF, had endless possibilities that could have been explored and it was all wasted
