Seafood Thermidor baked till golden-brown on top with creamy sauce and gooey cheese. I could only make out the prawns and mussels embedded in the sticky cheese. Next up, Black Angus Beef Gulai which is a spicy beef curry commonly found in the Malay Archipelago. Initially I had thought that it was beef rendang.

A huge salmon swimming in shallow tomato gravy caught everyone’s attention while basking under the heat lamp and sitting atop the induction warmer. Whole Norwegian Salmon with Tomato Basil Coulis soon had diners digging into the side for the flaky flesh with tangy tomato puree.

Seafood in Mushroom Essence was like a herbal seafood pot filled to the brim with an assortment of shellfish and crustaceans. I should have noticed there were king crab legs in there as one lady was cherry-picking out all the crab legs into her bowl. As for me, I only managed to find one miserable piece to comfort myself. Subsequent top up doesn’t come with any more king crab legs in it. :(

There was Seafood Porridge and Herbal Chicken Soup to help yourself with but I did no such thing. For the porridge, there were nine condiments like pickled vegetables, beans, crispy anchovies etc. to pick from including two sauces.

I know he means like a salubrious draught, a bouquet or some roborant, etc, but I like to believe he’s crafting little corn dolls and hands them out with Gwyn to the children he comes across during his travels hoping to bring a smile to their little faces.

I do a lot of baking especially during the holidays. Three years ago I made 12 -250ml bottles of vanilla extract, I used only the best quality vanilla beans and vodka. The longer it ferments the better it gets, and this is truly a gourmet extract.

Drew Sol twice today... It's like Soltober came a little early this year...

#textpost #I punched the shit out of a dragon until death in D&D this evening #Playing a Dhampir monk named Konstantyn and he just ATATATATATATATATATATA-WATAAAAA!!#His punches heal him too lol He just tanks the damage and then goes in and punches until the thing is dead and sucks out their soul essence #I need to draw him more... Only drew him once for his token... He's got fucked up chunky teeth because-#-his flavor of vampire eats bones/raw meat and not blood. They're like hyena teeth kinda #Finger bones are his favorite but that hasn't really come up yet lol #He was converted into whatever his vampire species is called when he was like 5 so he doesn't remember being human really #and the vampire colony lived in a spaceship that attacked smaller transport vessels for food/etc #Konstantyn started showing empathy towards humans and the vampires got mad about it and #locked him in a rotting meat closet for like a week as punishment. Surrounded by food that only made him sick...#Then the next time they let him join in attacking a vessel he made a run for one of the escape pods #The ships were in the middle of nowhere and the escape pod ran out of oxygen but he doesn't have to breath so that doesn't matter much #The pressurization and temperature dropping almost killed him though #He's only lived among humans for a short time (~5 years?) and is still sort of figuring things out #Since he's only half-vampire he doesn't *need* to eat bones/meat and that helps him blend in better #But he's still kinda weird haha

i've actually been an absolute chef the past few nights 😳😳!! and nobody at all helped me or gave me instructions or reminded me that you can cook food in things other than water. you can, in fact, stir fry things in substances besides tap water and hot sauce. and you can, in fact, cook vegetables along with whatever random piece of fish you've scavenged off the side of the road like a mongrel beast

#i still used hot sauce but like. there were other substances in there #tonight i made this prawn (not even roadkill prawn) stir fry & i added like tamari (gluten boy sad sad sad) and fish sauce #and wrostchestershire (perfect spellling) sauce and uhh. sesame oil and this chilli paste thing (basically sriracha)#and salt (😳) and also yeah okay three different hot sauces but like. okay. and then i had like white cabbage and beansprouts & onion #& carrot & sugarsnap peas & also mussels from a bag i found in the freezer (i'm sure it's fine)#so yeah. i am the chef. it actually tasted like greasy take-away food 😳. instead of. uh. fish essence in water with no salt #anon #BUT ALSO YES PLEASE COOK ME EGGS PLEASE PLEASE please please please

the fun thing w aetherspurn is that there’s so little lore to go off of with it that I’ve just started inventing stuff

#it’s fun bc I can say stuff like bc the body cannot gain aether to sustain itself through food #that the body starts to cannibalize itself to survive #at the same time it’s also like experiencing malnutrition #even if they are. like a year and a half into recovery they are still constantly hungry #which it’s like. aetherspurn is something that isn’t ever going away for them #it’s managed w treatments from the porxies—albeit modified #but infusions of aether from living people—most often via touch #but they don’t esp like taking aether from others due to the natural way in which it’s a sharing of essence #but they deal with it as it’s. kinda required. for living #they don’t take from the same person more than a few times over a short span of time #the different scions do taste different and they don’t like that they all taste a bit different #oc: eyrie kisne
