the fun thing w aetherspurn is that there’s so little lore to go off of with it that I’ve just started inventing stuff
#it’s fun bc I can say stuff like bc the body cannot gain aether to sustain itself through food#that the body starts to cannibalize itself to survive#at the same time it’s also like experiencing malnutrition#even if they are. like a year and a half into recovery they are still constantly hungry#which it’s like. aetherspurn is something that isn’t ever going away for them#it’s managed w treatments from the porxies—albeit modified#but infusions of aether from living people—most often via touch#but they don’t esp like taking aether from others due to the natural way in which it’s a sharing of essence#but they deal with it as it’s. kinda required. for living#they don’t take from the same person more than a few times over a short span of time#the different scions do taste different and they don’t like that they all taste a bit different#oc: eyrie kisne
