I just couldn't help but envision my Farmer from Stardew Valley and my future Farmer from Fields of Misteria as being related, perhaps as cousins. This could lead to an interesting story where one visits the other's farm from a different place and explores the areas.

My Friends introduced me into Fields of Mistria as soon as it released as an early access, recently. And the first guy I instantly run into is Ryis, and the first words he says to me, is just so sweet that I do NOT regret mistakenly talking to him. Also he's cute??, real?? About Olric…

As a fic writer, avid multishipper, and lover of Fields of Mistria, I wanted to clarify my stance on Olric since it has sort of evolved.

Originally I would have liked him to be romanceable (along with pretty much everyone else I think lol) He is very lovable. But since seeing aroace discourse surrounding him and how the aroace community has really resonated with him, I’ve decided I won’t be writing ship content for him.

This might be subject to change, depending on the developer’s intentions for him.

I also am not against anyone else having their own competing headcanons for him and not writing him as aroace. Ship and let ship.

But personally, I won’t be writing any romantic or sexual content for him.

Here's a random headcanon for my future character in Fields of Mistria

It has been mentioned in the game that before your farmer moved to Mistria, they were also a member of the Adventurer's Guild. (I believe) Then what if, your main character in Fields of Mistria used to live in Stardew Valley until something significant occurred that took a toll on them.

One day, Marlon received news from one of his old adventurer friends in the Capital about a request for help from Mistria. Recognizing that his comrade and student needed a change of scenery, he informed your MC about the opportunity of a new farmland in exchange to assist the town. After a lot of thinking, the MC (soon-to-be mc in FOM) decided to start anew, bidding farewell to their cousin, the MC of Stardew Valley, before relocating to Mistria.

I am in fucking TEARS right now. some of my absolute favourite people have deactivated because of bullying/harassment/stalker threats and I ONE OF THEM WERE MY FRIEND. Only a couple days ago we had interacted and now they're gone. To the toxic mileven shippers who did this, FUCK YOU. You have HURT people, made them feel UNSAFE to the point they completely DEACTIVATED THEIR ACCOUNTS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T FEEL SAFE. Think about that as you try to sleep at night. Think about how while you slept soundly, they felt UNSAFE. BECAUSE OF YOU. Yeah. Thanks a lot.
