thinking about Kelsey and Devon again (within the context of my au of course)

and ughhh it's so messed up. Devon's last weeks of life and his death being warped to revolve around Kelsey, his kind words, his encouragement and casual affection, the warmth and confusion and anger it inspired in devons heart. all for it to turn out he not only didn't care but that you were one of the bad apples. He thought you were poisoning the people around you and simply sought to pluck you before your rot could spread. I would be on the news!!

Of course Kelsey wasn't trying to be cruel, he's barely even human and being intentionally hurtful is a waste of his time. but it's still awful and who knows how many other people have fallen down this same path

This song is just gives Devon vibes. The way it snaps between the rage fulled chorus to an equally furious rant. The opening is so cold and bone chilling, with the rage slowly seeping in. That angry, angry rant loops back to opening but everything’s seeped in that rage and it’s somehow worse now. The thing completely breaks down various times after this and each time is horribly unexpected. Kelsey is the wife.
