Been wanting to do something again for Flykra (my rewrite of darkhaired Elsa as an OC who's taken in by Elsa as a child) so hoping this will help me get into the mindset for it. Here's a little scene of her testing her powers with her adopted cousin Asta watching on.

I have more rambles about Pine <3 (dw, I’m working on my fics I swear :D… maybe)

Pine learned their cooking skills from their father (his name is Damini)

Pine was always convinced into playing dolls with Flykra as they were the only other girl in the family

They changed their name once they came to Earth, finding Pine to be much more gender neutral than their old name

They didn’t have the best relationship with their dad (Alev) and decided to not try and form a bond with him. They regret that.

On the day the infection started, Topaz had proposed to Pine.

In their free time, they used to explore the caves underground, and would bring Topaz there frequently.

When they were first becoming friends with Lunar, they treated each day like the last time they would see him, as to not actually get attached. They were convinced that at some point, the visits would end.

Pine has come close to telling Lunar a couple times about their dreams, but never does

Pine is terrified of the ocean

Their favorite season is autumn, because they like all the pretty colors

Their least favorite season is winter cause it’s too fucking cold :)

Pine is more about texture than taste, so no matter how good it tastes, if they don’t like the texture, they refuse to eat it

Their favorite sibling was their sister, simply because she was easier to take care of than Izotz

Their favorite drink is apple cider

They’ve never had alcohol (and never plan to) but I’d imagine that they would be extremely clingy and then pass out

Their favorite video game is stardew valley

They are really good at math and was put in charge of keeping track of the mathematical side of the farming (such as how many crops they would need, how much food each person in town needed, blah blah blah)

They don’t like the color red

They’re the type of person to freak out and worry if someone they cared about was hurt, but if they’re hurt, they don’t give a shit.

They usually don’t get sick, but during the winter, they are more prone to getting sick (they just use it an excuse to sleep more)

Their favorite things to do with Lunar is to bake with him, go on walks with him, or just watch something on tv. They just like spending time with him.

They don’t really like snow, but they do think it pretty.

Their favorite type of weather is when it’s raining, and they love the sound of it and love to just stand in it.

you heard the header, it's old art time! i'm about to spam post a bunch of old art from 10+ years ago

these were my main queer lady pairings at the time! i'll post about some of these separately but this was a collection, so

silence + aurelia: from a 'verse called SERENDIP, a futuristic space 'verse with aliens. silence is from a shapeshifting race of aliens called ezzroll that had a long history of picking up alien radio/television/etc broadcasts and developing fascinations with different species. silence's parents and silence herself were all focused on humans. silence's whole schtick changed, i think from like a space pirate thing to an undercover agent? idk man. aurelia is a human who owns a transport spaceship that gets commandeered by silence, who's immediately very taken with her.

fionn + dierdre: from the fantasy 'verse i talked about yesterday. they're both centaurs and were one of the few very sweet no-drama pairings i had at the time lol. that's... all i really remember about them tbh

mirja +flykra: i think their storyline was just called sælkvinden (might mean seal woman)? i found that written in a sketchbook next to a pic of mirja. a selkie story, nothing super unique. mirja is a fisherwoman from the faroe islands, flykra is a selkie. they develop a friendship while mirja is out fishing that starts to edge towards romance before a guy in town steals flykra's pelt. she's made to stay with him because of this since she can't return to the sea, and they marry and have kids. flykra is miserable and doesn't get much chance to interact with mirja with her husband isolating her, while mirja is just distressed watching this happen. they might keep a bit of that romance going in secret. i think ten years go by like this? eventually mirja is able to steal back flykra's pelt and give it back to her, and she immediately catapults herself back into the ocean. no idea what happens to her kids tbh lmao

valerie + quinn : from a 'verse called cwytchy, a 'verse that never got super fleshed out. valerie is a scientist at an ethically questionable company, quinn is a hippie that frequently protests against said company. i don't remember too much about them, just that quinn's parents were conservative and her first name is liberty.

sedna + mercy: from a 'verse called killing mercy. mercy is a human with a terminal illness who's got less than a year to live, sedna is the mermaid she befriends who collects bones and likes to drown people. the two come to an agreement that sedna will get to drown mercy once she's ready, and they just hang out until then. not much else going there.

Little Miss Perfect - SnowPunz Moodboard

I’ve had this idea in mind for SnowPunz for years. I even posted something about it here on Tumblr, but I’m too lazy to try and find it. I love these two, even if I don’t come up with as much for them compared to other ships.

This story mostly follows the “Little Miss Perfect” song, with Snow (or Flykra as she’s called in my modern AUs) and Rapunzel going to a private school. Rapunzel is the junior class president, while Flykra is the newest student in school, and the two first met when Punz is asked to show her around.

Now, Rapunzel is the daughter of the mayor (Frederic) and is always being told that anything she does could affect his image, at least by her stepmother, Gothel. And she’s president because of how well liked she is by the student body overall. But when Flykra comes into her life, it throws everything she knows into question.

I really love this song and these two fit the idea for it perfectly. Sure, Isastrid could fit it as well, but the roles here in this story works better for SnowPunz.

So!! I think I've finally figured out how I'd chose to being Concept Art Elsa into my DisneyVerse. Ive wanted to for a while as I really liked her design and the more spunky vibe we got from her. So here we go!

I always try to use an actual fairytale base for things in my DisneyVerse when I can, so I've based her new backstory off of a couple of wintery stories, the Russian fairytale Father Frost, and a different Snow Child story then most think of, where a woman apparently gains a child by swallowing a snow flake--which is where this story begins:

Once upon a time a Merchant's wife, who had longed for a child for many years but never been blessed with her wish, happened to swallow a snow flake while staying in Arendelle for some months while her husband traveled. Unbeknownst to the woman, this was on one of the days when the former Queen Elsa was visiting her old home and entertaining with her magical snow--snow which had unknowingly created Life before...

9 months later, the Merchant's Wife gave birth to a child with skin as white as snow, hsir as black as a winter's night, and eyes as blue as the deepest ice. And though she was always much colder than a child should be, the deepest chill never seemed to bother her in the slightest, and she loved nothing more then to spend hours playing in the snow when winter came.

Unfortunately the woman was not so blessed, and one winter in the child's third year she took ill from ataying out with the child in the old and so died, leaving the merchant alone to raise a child he was never sure or not was his, and either way he felt had cost him his wife, and so gained his ire. He married again a few years later, to a wealthy woman with a daughter of her own, with skin like a peach and hair like sunshine, everything the Snow Child was not, and who gained all the affection of their parents, leaving the Snow Child to be neglected and shunned.

But the Snow Child had a secret, she not only felt more at home out in the snow than in a house before a fire, but she found she could control the snow as well. Sending gusts where she would and calming or increasing it according to her moods. For a few years she was able to hide her powers, but eventually her step-sister discovered her secret, and told her mother.

The woman, who had never cared for her strange step-daughter, now feared the child as a witch, and conspired to be rid of her once and for all.

The next time the family traveled together on a journey, the woman sent the Snow Child out in the dead od night under the pretext of an errand, and before the child could return packed up and moved the family out of the town, leaving the child alone and abandoned in the snow and the darkness as a storm swept in.

But she was not alone for long...

For that night the Snow Queen Elsa traveled in the storm, and she saw the child left out alone, ragged and bare footed. She swept down to save the child from freezing to death--only to find that the child didn't appear troubled at all by the cold surrounding her. The Snow Queen came closer, and sensed something of her own power surrounding this strange child left in the snow, and she knew then she could not simply take her to the nearest kind villager to be tended to...

And so the Snow Child came under the care of the Snow Queen. She was given the run of the magical ice palace where the rest of the Snow Queen's creations dwelled, where she was the most content and where she could learn to harness her powers under the Snow Queen's tutelage and watchful care...

So yeah! Thats the set up for my story for Dark Haired Elsa, who I'm thinking of calling Flykra, which means Snowflake in Old Norse according to the internet x)

I see her as being a very feisty and outspoken child as soon as she actually feels safe to be so, and a bit of a handful for Elsa who really never expected to be anything more then the Cool Aunt to Anna's kids. I think she and Elsa get along fairly well overall but there's definitely tension that comes up from both of their past trauma's bouncing up against eachother. Especially as Flykra hits her teenage years and her powers start to grow even more.

But there's a lot of love between all the family still, and Flykra loves getting to hangout with her new cousins and the Northhuldra and the trolls and just getting into good clean trouble now and then.

I'm definitely seeing this concept art by Claire Keane as Asta and Flykra hanging out now x)

whitney: white island/white water, whitaker: the white acre/white field (cause i think its really cute that all of weiss siblings' names and their mother starts with a 'w' and maybe weiss and ruby keep it going, also yes, whitaker is a boys name but i think if we all try hard enough it can be unisex). then theres rosalba: white rose or neve: bright snow. cecil: gray eye, griselda: gray haired heroine, lesley: from the gray fortress (that one may be a stretch tho idk)

Ruby x Blake - feminine/unisex names related to red and also an animal (this part was kinda hard)

rufina: red haired (roman origin apparently, and a fem version of rufus, which i mostly associate with dogs. blakes not a dog, obvi but still), cerise (moderate to deep red), dahlia (flower that comes in a red color), akane (deep red), qiong (red jade, a chinese name and i think if ruby took inpo from yang, yknow)

fern or ann/anne (both of these are inspired by a book i read in middle school called where the red fern grows, thats a book about dogs again but i dont know a lot of books about ginger cats)

not the best with names but if youre looking for suggestions but for your punnet square au (a very cool idea btw) here's some if you want. emerucury: ash, slate, fidda (so, it may not be the best practice but rwby does so why not but google says this word means sliver in arabic) or something related to a gem/mineral (according to some quick research these can come in different colors) like spinel, jasper, or cole (coming from colemanite).

for blacksun something like begonia, petunia, or poppy flower related (im more so thinking of the yellow variants of these flowers). theres also jet. i tried to think of a name maybe more related to sun but i couldn't think of anything thing, maybe luna i think thatd be cute.

for winter/marrow child maybe ruddy? for rosegarden olive, i just think its really cute. for something more masculine something like copper or auburn (okay i know theres a team auburn already but i think its fine). for nora/oscar...maybe aidan, kai (both relating to fire), faro, helen, or ellen (those are related to light)

i didnt think of any allusions or anything like that.
