I actually need more of background friendships getting some attention so bad. I'm so fed up of seeing Marauders, The Slytherin skittles (what is up with that name), golden trio, silver trio, bronze trio. I really really feel like these friendships need more spot light too (Ginny and Colin, Percy and Fleur, Cho and Marietta).

I have nothing against them, at all. But it gets tiring to see so much of it all the time.

That dahlia again. I’ve been posting pictures from home because I haven’t been well enough to go out.

Spent hours at an ER yesterday and finally got it sorted out. It seemed at first as if I had some kind of major life-changing system failure happening but many tests later ($$$!) I now know that I had two things that weren’t connected but were for no reason happening at once and both of them should be temporary. Whew! I should be able to walk normally or close to it within a month. Apparently my own healing strategy of forcing myself to walk through the pain was making it worse. Oops. Anyway I should be out and about in time for autumn photos. All good wishes, prayers and vibes are appreciated. 🌻🌿💙🌈🌸 Thank you for being there, friends!

Maybe she and Regis had to have a quick wedding on the road, or maybe they split and she wandered off before she realised she's having a kid. I'm just here for Fleur Vs Ardyn custody battle over the Bastards.

You know I was debating whether or not to make Persephone or Jules Fleur's kid in this prompt and then I figured that since I don't really have a backstory for Persephone LET'S MAKE HER FLEUR'S DAUGHTER.

It doesn't take long for Fleur to wind up back at the Citadel, seething with anger. She knows that if she still had her more cat-like features her ears would be pinned back and her tail would be swaying. As it is, Fleur is having a hard enough time attempting not to snarl at Regis and Ardyn.

Fucking Lucis Caelum's. Fleur wonders why she was ever fond of them.

"Why," Fleur begins and takes a terrible pleasure in how Regis stiffens. Good, he remembers her wrath at least. "Is my daughter of interest to you two?"

"She's my daughter as well." Regis presents an argument and Fleur wonders if Phoenix will still answer her calls. "She deserves to know her father."

"She is 15, even if she had made the choice to get to know you, I would have thought you'd be mature enough to tell me."

"Come now," Ardyn croons and Fleur makes a face that makes Regis snicker, "She needs teachers. Your daughter is one of ours, which means someone needs to teach her how to wield that terrible power she has."

"I've been teaching her myself just fine," Fleur hisses at Ardyn, "I don't appreciate you questioning my knowledge." She turns back to Regis then. "I won't keep you from her, but if a single hair on her head is threatened I will burn this city to the ground.")

y’all the weasley’s are poor but they’re not dirt poor. like everyone saying “they have too many kids” and “arthur should��ve taken a promotion to support the family” like they’re not destitute? they seem to live pay check to pay check (like a lot of people lol). we know they don’t have much savings (as shown when harry goes with them to their vault) but they can afford a house and food and long term house guests (harry and hermione). and they aren’t poor enough to qualify for the hogwarts scholarship money like riddle does. they are probably equivalent to like if y’all ever watched the middle to the heck family. like lower middle class, can afford the necessities and the occasional splurge (like ron’s broom or percy’s owl) but buy a lot of things secondhand. they can afford the amount of children they have, they just can’t afford the material extras like the aristocratic malfoy’s or the upper middle class dursley’s. and some of y’all are boarding on elitist by implying that arthur and molly are bad parents for not providing the best material items for their kids. when they are one of the only families shown to encourage acceptance, curiosity, and love for marginalized people like lupin or muggles. and support for harry when he’s branded a “liar” and “mad” for saying voldemort was back. like I’m sorry but I’d take the weasley’s over the bigoted, cruel life of the malfoy family where lucius spends his time torturing muggles, harassing school board members, and trying to frame an 11 yr old for petrifying an entire school.

the whole point of ron’s insecurity over money/status is that he was a child and short sighted. like yeah it is hard/sometimes embarrassing to always have hand-me-downs but that’s not exactly a life-ending trauma. it’s something you, like ron does, learn to deal with because at least a megalomaniac murderer hasn’t been trying to kill you since you were one

- loves magical creatures, and wants to work with them when he’s older

- huge fan of Newt Scamander! (obviously)

- was a hat stall between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff for so long, he broke the record for the longest stall in at least a century (according to Headmistress Mcgonagall)

- sorted into Gryffindor in the end, genetics were just too strong

- a prefect since his 5th year

- very popular with girls, but they never interested him much until the summer before his seventh year, when he fell hard for a muggle girl he met at the beach (they ended up getting married a few years later)

JKR Writing Fleur Delacour: So this french bird is super sexy but she's also incredibly shallow and vain and snooty, y'know how the French are. She's high fem which is a bad thing, tomboys are the best. She's also just incredibly annoying and full of herself. Constantly making herself the centre of attention even though nobody likes her and they call her phlegm behind her back. Hilarious, right?

90% of Fanfics when Writing Fleur Delacour: At first she comes off as entitled & full of herself, but as time goes on it's clear she's actually incredibly kind, compassionate and loyal. She also has a keen sense of matters of the heart. For the younger characters she takes on the role of a wise older sister. She's loyal and nurturing and and will always be there if you need someone to talk to. She is from a noble matriarchal race of fierce warriors and will fight tooth and nail to defend what is hers.
