Flash Star Logan Williams Died from an Overdose: His Mom Says

A month later, the planet lost a rising star. On April 2nd Logan Williams, who starred on The Flash, passed away suddenly. At the moment, he was 16, and should have celebrated his 17th birthday exactly a week later.

Now, the mother of the late actor is opening up over the cause of death for her son in the hopes of helping others. The 16-year-old star passed away due to a fentanyl overdose, in which his mother, Marlyse Williams, told The New York Post, a preliminary toxicology report revealed. She revealed her son was battling a three-year addiction. "His death is not going to be in vain," she told the newspaper. "He 's going to help a lot of people down the road." She explained the overwhelming amount of stress auditions that resulted in her son eventually using marijuana. Logan started trying other drugs from there, however, Marlyse pointed out she was not sure when her son started using fentanyl. She said of the use of drugs, Logan "was in complete denial because he was so ashamed." "I did everything humanly possible — everything a mother could do," she shared. "I did everything but handcuff him to me to try to keep him safe." Marlyse disclosed the last time she saw Logan on March 30. The two prepared their first meal together and shared a "amazing" evening. "He said to me, 'Mom, I'm gonna get clean. I'm going to get better. And I want my new life to start,'" she said. "I just remember the last thing we said to each other was, 'I love you.'" Her son passed away in the night, Marlyse recalled a moment when she sensed the love of her mother. She said, "There was the brightest moon on me, and I swear that it was the spirit of Logan, letting me know that he had been transformed.” "I really felt his energy that he had transitioned. I just hope he's at peace." His Flash co-stars and fellow actor colleagues shared their heartburn over his loss at the time of Logan’s passing. "Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly," Grant Gustin posted a photo of himself and Logan on social media. "This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014. I was so impressed by not only Logan's talent but his professionalism on set." He added, "My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what I am sure they will experience an unimaginably difficult time.

Please hold Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers through what has been a strange and stressful time for all of us. Give love to everybody. ok not to go full cat mode but im imagining names for a naruto warriors au?? kakashi maybe lightningtuft, or lightningfang, after his dad wolffang. sakura would be blossompaw, later blossomheart when she becomes a warrior/chunin. sasuke would be ravenpaw (itachi has crow- prefix??) and naruto sunpaw, but they never officially become chunin so they stay as ‘paws. minato might be flashstar :’) (as hes known as the yellow flash)
