Mother doesnât know best (one-shot)
Regulus Black AUÂ
Summary:Â Walburga upsets Regulus. You will always be there to pick up the pieces.
Pairings: Regulus Black x ReaderÂ
Rating: M- smut
______
You could tell from the moment that Regulus walked through the door that he was in a hell of a mood. It didnât take the two of you to be together for so long to know when he was in a horrible mood. You couldnât help but be curious about exactly what Walburga did to piss your lover off so badly.
Regulus took his coat off and let it drop to the floor. Normally he would have neatly put the garment back in the closet. Regulus hated wrinkles and would have a fit if his coat had the slightest wrinkle on it. You would spend hours listening to him bitch about how annoying and sloppy wrinkles were.
You didnât say anything as he sat down on the sofa and stared at the TV with a glare on his face. That look...you knew that look very well. Any time that Regulus was the least bit displeased THAT was the look that you saw on him.
Giving Regulus a few moments to cool off, you hung up his coat before turning around. Regulusâ grey eyes were still locked on the television. You crawled behind Regulus and wrapped your arms around him from behind. Normally you cuddling Regulus was enough to calm him down from whatever stupidity that his parents had caused.
Touching was your method of providing him comfort. It had been from the moment that the two of you had become a couple. While you came from a family that wasnât the least bit hesitant to show each other love and affection, Regulus didnât. The poor boy was touch starved from the moment that he was born. At first, Regulus was hesitant about returning a hug or letting you snuggle him. It only took a month for Regulus to enjoy the cuddles enough to be wrapping himself around you at any spare moment.
You snuggled your face against Regulusâ shoulder. He didnât say a word as you proceeded to pepper his neck with kisses.
âWant to tell me whatâs eating you?â
Regulus groaned but didnât say anything. Mentally shrugging, you continued to kiss the same path over and over before getting brave and biting down on his earlobe. Regulus wiggled himself loose and rolled his eyes.
âJust stop, would you?â
Had he not been in the mood from hell, Regulus would have seen how stunned and baffled that you looked. You looked as if you had been knocked off of your imaginary unicorn. Regulus turned and walked out the door to the back garden leaving you blinking after him.
This had been the first time that Regulus remotely took his frustrations out on you. Normally that was never an option. It wasnât your place to take the blame for his issues âwhatever they were.â
You didnât move to go after Regulus. When he was ready to talk about whatever it was that he was going through...he would come to you.
An hour later, you sat on the couch reading a book that you had borrowed from Remus. You were so lost in the story that you hadnât noticed that Regulus walked back in. You also didnât notice the embarrassed expression on his face. Truth was, Regulus felt awful. You didnât deserve him taking his frustrations out on you. It wasnât your problem that his mother knew how to suck the life out of anyone within five minutes.
Regulus wasnât about to tell you that the reason that he was so pissy was because of his motherâs insistence that the two of you produce an heir. You didnât need to spend the evening and the next few days wondering if you were âgood enoughâ to be his wife. Regulus would stop that from happening at all costs.
As Far as Walburga was concerned, it didnât matter that Regulus told her that you werenât physically able to do that. Walburga didnât seem to understand the words âit will not be happening.â Regulus accepted it and it was time that Walburga did too. If she was so desperate for an heir then she needed to go talk to her eldest son. Regulus assumed that Sirius probably had a few kids running around out there. The way that Sirius âgot aroundâ it wouldnât be surprising if the Black family had multiple new family members that no one knew about.
Regulus waited a few moments for you to say something to him but you didnât. He smirked when he realized that you didnât know that he was in the room. Shaking his head, Regulus gently snatched the book away.
âHey!â
You whined. Regulus gave you a smile before kneeling down in front of you.
âHi.â
You reached out to stroke your fingers through his hair.
âHi... I suppose that you are having a bad day?â
You said softly. Regulus nodded, taking his hand in your and kissing each fingertip.
âSomething like that. Mum knows how to suck the life force right out of you. It's no wonder my father is nothing but a glorified statue.â
âWanna talk about it?â
Regulus shook his head. You didnât expect him to be wanting to talk about whatever it was that Walburga had done. Regulus was never much of a talker when it came to his family. He would put the issue away in an expertly secretive little file in his mind only for it to never be seen or heard about again.
âWould you rather me take your pants off?â
Regulusâ grey eyes rolled up at the prospect of sex. This didnât surprise you. As much as you wanted to make a comment about Regulus not being so different from Sirius; you decided not to. If you wanted to make your lover feel better comparing Regulus to his brother was not a good idea.
âThat sounds nice.â
Regulus replied. He stood up and offered his hand to pull you up from the sofa.
âBed or here?â
You asked. It didnât matter to you where the sex would take place. The two of you seemed to have sex wherever the mood would hit.
âBed.â
Regulus commented before picking you up and carrying you into the next room. He closed the door with his foot before gently sitting you down. You stayed in the same place as Regulus began unzipping your dress. His fingers expertly tugged the zipper down toward your bottom. Regulus wanted nothing more than to tug the fabric off of you but he knew that would get him nowhere except a shopping trip to buy a new dress. The last thing that he wanted was to spend the evening stuck in a dress shop with other husbands who were bored out of their minds. Regulus would rather be feeding you his cock instead.
The moment your dress hit the floor, you turned in Regulusâ arms and pressed your lips to his. The kiss was the same as always...sweet and timid at first before moving to fiery and possessive. You internally smiled at the memory of the first kiss that Regulus had given you. He had been so timid and embarrassed at first. Now he didnât care where the hell that the two of you were. When he wanted a kiss your lips were his for the taking.
âWhat?â
Regulus questioned as you started unbuttoning his shirt and tugging the garment out of his slacks. You shook your head with an innocent smile and kissed his chin once more.
âNothing. Canât I smile when I kiss you?â
Regulus rolled his eyes.
âThere is no such thing as nothing with you. Good try though, sugar. Now, what do you want me to do to you?â
You sat down on the bed before reaching out to unbuckle Regulusâ belt. That was a silly question for him to ask. Regulus was always the more dominant in the bedroom. You assumed this question was always to see how interested you were in what he had to offer.
âSuch a silly question, love. I know what you want.â
You replied, running a hand up Regulusâ now obvious erection. He bit his lip as you finally wrapped your mouth around his length.
âI suppose you do know.â
Regulus commented as his eyes fluttered closed. You opened your eyes for a brief moment to see the ecstasy on your loverâs face. Again, you internally smiled at the memory of the first blow job that you had given Regulus. How he lasted a whole five minutes was still amusing to you. The poor love was so embarrassed at the coming so quickly and kept offering promises that once he was inside of you he could definitely last longer.
As the years progressed, Regulus gained an iron grasp on his orgasm. You often found yourself begging him to come already because your jaws or your pussy was so sore from âactivitiesâ that you needed a break. There were only a few ways to make him come super quick and he refused to talk about them. Your personal favorite was giving him an inconspicuous handjob at bad times. The most memorable was a few weeks ago at dinner with Walburga, Orion, and a few of the other Black family members. You smiled at the memoryâŠ
It was another boring dinner or listening to Walburga and Orion talk about how wonderful their family was. You sat beside Regulus as the dutiful sweet little wife that he adored so much. The less that you caught Walburgaâs attention the better. Regulus hadnât said much that evening. Granted, he normally didnât say much around his parents. He had learned years ago to keep his trap shut.
As Walburga started talking about Christmas plans, you let your eyes fall to Regulusâ lap. Now would be the perfect time for a handjob. You knew Regulus probably wouldnât think so. Your prim and proper lover still didnât exactly love the idea of public displays of affection. A handjob and him coming in front of his family would be a huge âhell no.â
You let your eyes flutter to Regulusâ face. He sat watching his mother with a bored expression on his handsome face. Regulus clearly had not picked up on your playful smile and for this you were thrilled. As carefully as possible, you scooted your chair closer to Regulus.
The moment your fingers stroked over his cock, Regulusâ eyes turned to you. He gave you a warning expression that said ânot nowâ but you werenât going to listen. So what if he spanked you later? You would have some fun at the time being. You only blinked at Regulus before continuing to lightly stroke your fingertips over his hardening cock. Regulus reached down and wrapped his hand around yours. You assumed that he was going to shove you away but he didnât. Instead, he forced your hand open to palm him under the table cloth.
Regulus pressed his lips together as you got braver and began unbuttoning his dress pants.
âY/n, no...please.â
Regulus whispered in your direction. You gave him a playful smirk before wrapping your hand around his length. Regulus discreetly put his hand over his mouth obviously hoping that his parents would assume that he was carefully considering their words. Little did they know what you were actually doing to their youngest son.â
Regulus rocking his hips pulled you from the memory. He whined when you let his cock drop from your mouth. Sitting up a bit straighter, you placed a kiss to his hip bone.
âWant to take me?â
âThatâs a dumb question.â
Regulus said as he gently pushed you back on the bed. You knew that he wasnât going to just shove in. That was for inexperienced kids. He always left you needy and soaking the sheets before ever considering pushing inside of you.
He gently stroked his left hand between your bodies to stroke your pussy. Regulus groaned feeling how wet you were. He knew to expect it but it was always such a pleasant surprise. His middle finger effortlessly slipped inside your opening leaving you gasping his name. Regulus continued to tease you for a few moments. One finger became two. Two fingers were pushing in as deep as possible. He scissored and pumped you to orgasm twice. Each time, as your orgasm approached, Regulus stopped moving. His grey eyes were locked on your face and a small smirk played at his lips. Regulus knew how to drive you wild just as you knew how to push him over the edge.
âNeed you now.â
You whimpered as Regulus curled his fingers. If Regulus continued to tease you like this there was no way that you would last long. To your relief, he seemed to want sex as badly as you did. Both of you sighed the moment that he pushed inside of you.
âTake it all, sugar.â
Regulus ordered, trying his hardest to resist the urge to start fucking you as if he was a careless teenager. He stopped himself each time. You didnât deserve just to have a sloppy mess made out of your pussy. Despite this being about him, Regulus would make sure that you were taken care of. The words âhappy wife, happy lifeâ could have never been more accurate.
The soft gentle lovemaking turned hungry and desperate within seconds. You reached up to wrap your arms around Regulusâ shoulders as his skin slapped against yours. The feeling of Regulusâ cock sliding in and out of you before filling you to the hilt was enough to make you want to come alone. Your body twitched involuntarily as the arousal became more intense. Suddenly you felt your body lingering on the edge of orgasm.
âPlease don't stop. Please donât stop.â
You chanted over and over. You were trembling all over as the pleasure exploded. Regulus moaned loudly. The feeling of your body strangling his cock was enough to bring him over the edge. He knew that this wasnât going to last long from the get-go. Regulus stopped thrusting almost instantly. You could feel his cock throbbing inside of you for a few moments before filling you.
Regulus was the first to break away. He stroked his finger over your nose before lying down beside you. You didnât fight as he pulled you into his arms.
âDo you feel better?â
You asked, yawning. Regulus nodded and kissed your head.
âYou always make me feel better. Maybe a small nap is in order?â
You didnât argue as you wrapped your arm around Regulusâ body a bit more tightly and prepared for a nap (and round two). Before falling asleep you made a mental note to thank Walburga for whatever it was that she did to him. You would assure her that you were there to calm her baby boy down...just as you always would be.

ă Comfort ă
Sukuna x F!Reader
Word count: 2.1k
Tags: Fluff???, Established Relationship, Angst, Mentions of death, self hate, and abuse, slightly insane reader, slightly soft Sukuna
A/N: Readers abilities are touching people to make them sleep, transfer memories, and see past (for those with DID, talk to the souls within the persons mind). She serves as a informant by going inside victims heads to look in their pasts for curses that were around them; informing her teammates of location and grade level. She can also gain powers from whomever she touches for a short period of time.
Ex: Sukuna can give Malevolent Shrine to her for battle, but after one use/within five minutes, it vanishes. If she uses powers that are harsh on her body, (domain expansions or strong cursed manipulation) she faints/gets nose bleeds.
Your feet dragged against the brutally cold floors of the first-year dormitories at Jujutsu Tech. Everything around you was dark, dim light being provided by the full moons reflection through the windows. The corridor felt like a never-ending strip as you silently sobbed under your h/c locks.
Today was⊠hard. Usually, you can handle the painful endeavors of reaching into the depths of strangerâs minds, but today was different. Todays victim was a young boy, not even a teen, who was abused by his own parents. When you grazed his swollen cheeks as he lied motionless on the floor, the fear he felt as his mother raised a hand to him engulfed your body. Then and there on the scene, you began to cry uncontrollably.
Doing the same thing every day, seeing the same pain in peopleâs memories, reliving all of their fears within seconds- it was beginning to rip your soul apart piece by piece. At first, it was manageable. However, over the past year of being at this damned jujutsu school, all you seem to feel is excruciating aches in both body and soul.
Recalling the childâs memories, you fell against the wall of the corridor while burying your tearstained face into the same shaking, gloved hands that touched him. Gojo Satoru picked you to be a student because of your âStabilityâ, yet you were turning into the opposite. The way you viewed death and the nature of It was what impressed Gojo and everyone around you the most, though you have never seen yourself as impressive. All you do is touch people and relay information, nothing too complicated, right?
A door creaked open after your fall emitted a loud thud in the room behind you. When you lifted your head to apologize, you noticed it was none other than Yuji Itadori- Sukunaâs vessel in other words. The young sorcerersâ eyes widened at seeing you in such a distraught state, hastily running over to you. Yuji scanned your body for wounds but was only able to find a pair of empty eyes. âY/n? Are you alright? Câmon, lets get you to your room.â He scooped you into his arms, carrying you as a mother does with her sleeping child.
Yuji opened the door, gently placing you onto the silk sheets of the rooms bed as you silently cursed yourself for being so weak. The expression you bared made him pained, so he attempted to make you comfortable by taking your shoes off. After doing so, he sat to side of the bed. He held your shielded hand into his bare ones before recommending, âHow about talking to Sukuna?â
Your voided eyes closed as you slouched into the headboard. Sukuna would be disappointed to see you in such a state, him possibly refusing to secretly work with you anymore if he saw this mess. Or even worse, heâd stop loving you. From that thought, your mind continued to spiral.
While stuck in your self-pity, Yuji was removing a glove from your hand. âGojo makes you talk to Sukuna for information, but I know you enjoy talking to each other. He thinks about you a lot.â
Hearing Yujiâs words made your eyelids flash open like lightning as he removed the glove completely. Gojo assigned you to become an informant for him by touching Yuji to go into Sukunaâs domain, however that plan backfired. Overtime, you began to tell Gojo you couldnât get anything from him, while secretly falling for and scheming with Sukuna. There was a pact made between the two of you: In exchange for touching Yuji to temporarily gain sukunaâs abilities, you must kill with those powers.
You grew to hate violence over the years; having seen multiple forms of it through peopleâs memories. But you made an exception, being that violence should be used against those who use violence with malicious intent. Although it is a bit of a hypocritical way to think.
When going out with Yuji and others, you take advantage of the surroundings by stalking your next prey. You do this by âaccidentallyâ bumping into people on the streets and reading their memories to search for any abusers, cheaters, or murderers. Although you were technically a killer too, you knew one day youâd have to pay for your sins. Lately, that day seems to be snaking its way closer to you.
âY/n?â Yuji questioned with a slight tilt of his head; his voice snapping you from your train of thought. Raising the hand he ungloved, the fingertip of your index finger tapped against his forehead. With the tap, his body relaxed before falling into a deep state of sleep. His head fell onto your lap, giving a perfect opening to use your ability. You took the smooth palm of your bare hand, and cupped Yujiâs jawline. This was how you opened communication into someoneâs memories, or in this case, into someoneâs personalities.
Although you were nervous to see what sukuna would think of you in such a ruined state, Yujiâs words made you feel relaxed. Sukuna was your partner after all, he should be able to see you like this. But then again, he was the king of curses, not just some human guy you picked up on a dating website. In the end though, your want of Sukunaâs comfort overlaps your fear.
Your eyelids shut, then reopened in a different place. It was still nighttime at this location, but it was not the physical world that humans are used to- even if it felt like it was. A vast plateau of flowers swayed in the man-made dream you were in. Constellations of multiple forms helped the moon light up the colorful night sky. The cool air caused you to slightly shiver as it brushed through the grass.
âWhy did you bring me here, brat? I was sleepinâ on my throne.â
Sukunaâs rugged voice didnât seem to faze you as you gazed upwards to the moon. Instead, it oddly comforted you. Although most are terrified of his presence alone, it did not budge your already cracking mind in any shape or form. It slightly annoyed Sukuna that he couldnât scare you, but it felt comfort in knowing that there is at least one person in this world who doesnât flinch at the sound of his name.
When you didnât respond to his question, he lifted a brow in confusion. The robed man slowly stepped through the tall grass, his hands staying in his pockets of course. âHey,â he started as his warm palm gripped your right shoulder, âAnswer me.â His tone became serious, but if you squint, you can see the worry in it. The sound of your silence was so damn loud.
Sukuna jerked your shoulder, revealing your heartbroken expression to his red pupils. You leaned your head downwards, feeling embarrassed that he had to see you like this, but who else could you have gone to? âYu-Yuji told me y-ou,â you hickuped while trying to speek, trying to hold back your tears from him, âHe t-told me you⊠think about me.â Your tears looked like melting diamonds as they fell from under your locks and into the moonlight.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3qrKjywjo7Q
(For those that want to feel the moment.)
He didnât know what to feel, nor what to do, until you muttered out, âIâm sorryâŠâ
In that moment, you felt your knees go weak. Your legs gave out, making you fall into the grass. Sukuna quickly grabbed your waist, falling into the grass with you as your cushion. He nuzzled his tattooed face against your puffy cheeks while whispering, âShow me what happened.â
You lifted a hand, cupping his jawline to open communication into his nervous system. Through the line, you showed him the memories you saw and how they hurt you. Sukuna couldnât have been less fazed, seeing as he is the king of curses and was a mass murderer. But when he saw the expression you made when ripping your hand away from the boy, his spirit felt like a nail went through the center of it.
He sighed, moving loose hairs from your forehead so he could have a full look at your bloodshot eyes. Your e/c orbs told him how drained you were beginning to feel from the mortal world. He cooed, âI wish I wasnât trapped in this brat. I would destroy the entire world for you, Y/n⊠You wouldnât have to deal with any shitty pains like this.â
Sukuna hated everyone, except you. As the saying goes, Heroes would sacrifice you for the world, while villains would sacrifice the world for you. He enjoys telling himself the lie of âY/n got on my good sideâ, but Sukuna always knew the truth of why he couldnât help but care for you so much: You changed him. Out of billions of people just on this planet alone, you were the one to take his heart, mind, and philosophy and then mold it.
Killing was killing to Sukuna, and thatâs all there was to it. But he found his goals shifting when he meant you. The insanity that filled your eyes as youâd hold a fresh blade against the neck of your enemies. Human or curse, it didnât matter to you. Bad was bad, good was good; things were black and white to you as they were to him, but in a different manner. Your bravery was another factor to his care for you. The fact that you went unarmed into Yujiâs mind after he ate the finger just to get a view of Sukunaâs throne without any care for consequences was such a curious thing to him.
You both saw things the same way, yet not. The complexity of your careless philosophy was something to applaud in his eyes. But as you lay in your despair, Sukuna is grimly reminded you are still a human that must endure the torture that is a fleeting life. He wanted you to be a curse like him, enjoying the comfort of eternity in a paradise he could build for just the two of you.
But in the end, you were just a human. And although it sounds like something he is absolutely disgusted by, itâs not. If anything, the fact you are just a human girl catches him off guard even more. A human girl managed to move a godâs heart. A human girl somehow has the power to see peopleâs pain and was never moved until many years later. Sukuna didnât know if he should have been happy or terrified to find someone like you.
His thoughts were cut off by the sound of your silent sobs, making him close his eyes in uneasiness. It took him a few minutes, but he soon realized what he could do to relieve your pains. He saw what you saw and felt what you felt, therefore he knew just how helpless and weak you were feeling. To him, you werent weak at all, and he needs you to see that.
âY/n.â
Your crystalized eyes looked to his blood-colored ones.
âLet me show you what I see.â His voice was soft, yet still had a rugged tone to it.
He pulled you upwards, making you sit up across from him while waving grass continued to surround the two of you. Leaning into you, his forehead leaned on yours as you snaked a hand across his palm, entangling your wrist with his fingers. The hand you were snaking tightly gripped at your forearm before you gripped onto his. Using this technique is a more intimate way of opening a line of communication. Both of your eyes closed to open it completely.
In Sukunaâs memories, you view things how he views them and see things through his mindset. It felt like a wave of ease flow throughout your body as you became comforted in the way he sees you. Most of the moments you saw were when you would smile, fight, or annoy Sukuna in general. Which, by the way, you were the only person who could ever taunt Sukuna and live to see the sun rise.
When your eyes fluttered open, he felt your lashes against his skin. This prompted him to open his eyes as well, and he found a pleasant surprise upon opening them. âWhat?â You questioned with a hint of sass, feeling your tears dry as your aching mind became soothed. Sukuna smirked, enjoying seeing a temporary tint of red over your normally e/c orbs.
Usually, your eyes donât change colors after a connection, so it struck him as pleasant while it lasted, âNothing, you are just a giant ass baby.â
âOh shut the fuck up. You are the same person who got mad and came out when I ate a croissant that was meant for yuji!â
âI can taste whatever this brat eats, you realize that right? Those butter ones are tastyâŠâ
Your eyes reverted back to their normal state as you bickered with your partner in the moonlight lit field. While back in the physical world, Yuji was snoring away on your bed in a very unflattering position. Although you donât get to see Sukuna in the physical world, you still find comfort in feeling his soul In the spiritual world.

Feeling. J. Wooyoung
Wooyoung x fem!reader College au!, Soulmate au! WC: 4.9k Summary: You were one of the few who actually had a soulmate, shame you though the whole idea of love was artificial. Warnings: mentions of panic attack, language,
*12 years ago*
âY/n got her soulmate mark!â Yeosang, your best friend shouted to the rest of the class a few seconds after the heart shaped scar bloomed on your skin; a moment you would never forget. The whole class ran over to you, shoving one another to see the mark that had just appeared on your skin. You were the first kid in your class to get a soulmate mark, so to say everyone was excited was an understatement.
âA heart? Whatâs a heart mean?â asked Mingi, another boy in your class. âLoveâ Yeosang said in a âduhâ tone that made you giggle. âActually, it means Y/n will be able to feel what her soulmate feels, and theyâll be able to feel what she feels.â Your teacher explained, earning a chorus of âohâsâ from you and your classmates. After everyone got a look at your mark your teacher was quick to get everyone back in their seats to resume class. You looked down at your wrist, a smile coming to your face as your heart swelled, âI have a soulmateâ you whispered happily to yourself.
*Present*
You let out a sigh as you quickly cover up your soulmate mark with multiple bracelets, not wanting to look at it any longer. The day you found out you were one of the few who had a soulmate, you couldnât have been more happy, but as you grew up, you realized your soulmate mark came with the watching eyes of everyone who saw it.
Soulmates were a bit of a rare occurrence, so when people saw anyone with a soulmate mark it grabbed their attention. Whether people were jealous or just curious about the phenomenon, everyone you had ever met only care about the stupid mark on your wrist. The only people who didnât care were your best friends, Yeosang and Mingi. They both had marks of their own, but unlike you, they didnât mind the prying eyes, the only thing they cared about was finding their soulmate.
âYou canât hide it forever you know,â Yeosang teased as he walked into you room, not even bothering to knock. âI can tryâ you huffed back in response. âWhat happens when you meet your soulmate, are you still gonna hide itâ âprobablyâ âdude seriously?â
Normally, when people find their soulmate, they proudly put themselves on display: showing off their mark, being overly affectionate in public, and over all just sucking up any attention they could get. It was disgusting.
âYeah, seriously,â you stated. âI wouldnât like that if I was your soulmate, Iâd wanna show off our bond.â Yeosang stated, making you roll your eyes. Before you could respond with some witty comeback, a sudden wave of sadness hit you like a truck. Tears welled up in your eyes for god knows what reason and you felt like you had a lump the size of a baseball in your throat, it was awful. âWhat- whoah, Iâm sorry I didnât mean to make you upset- no no no donât cryâ Yeosang said frantically as he tried to calm you down. You tried to explain that it wasnât him, but the only thing that left your mouth was a sob.
âHeyy- What the hell did you doâ Mingi said as he walked into your apartment, quickly rushing to your side and pulling you into his arms. âI didnât do anything-â âof course you did something, itâs youâ âHey-â âshut up, pleaseâ you managed to say through sobs.
As much as you hated your soulmate bond, you hated that your soulmate was feeling like this even more. It made you wonder what happened and if they were okay, if someone was with them to help them.
After about five minutes of you sobbing, you finally calmed down enough to explain what happened. âAh your soulmate bond! I thought you really were upset with meâ âgoodâ you sniffled, âmaybe this will teach you to stay out of my businessâ âhmmâ Yeosang pretended to be deep in thought before tackling you, ânah Iâm good.â âGroup hug!â Mingi shouted before pulling both you and Yeosang into his arms.
For the rest of the day you had this lingering sadness and the lump in your throat never went away. You never really gave much thought to your soulmate before, but today you just couldnât stop your mind from wandering. There was this urge to find them and hold them and reassure them that everything would be okay. You tried pushing those thoughts away, you didnât even want a soulmate, so why were you so concerned? You tried to convince yourself it was just because you were a nice person, but there was a deeper reason and you could feel it, no matter how hard you tried to deny it.
You now sat at one of your favorite cafes with Mingi and Yeosang. You had went there to study, but no one was studying. Mingi was trying to balance a spoon on his nose, Yeosang was making sure Mingi would fail at that task, and you were recording all of it. Soft giggles left your mouth as Yeosang pushed Mingi for the third time, making the spoon fall to the ground. âDude, come on-â Mingi pouted, shoving Yeosang back. â-I almost had it!â âYeah I know, thatâs the pointâ Mingi picked up the spoon from the ground and threw it a Yeosang, hitting him right in the forehead. You let out a loud laugh, all but snorting at the look on Yeosangâs face. The two bickered like two little kids for a while, giving you a front row seat to another one of their entertaining arguments. You were so distracted by your two best friends that you didnât even realize the lump in your throat was gone.

Wooyoung lied in bed, a small smile on his face as he felt the urge to laugh. His soulmate was happy. He had been hurting all day, and he could only imagine what that did to his soulmate, so feeling them feel so care free- it made him happy. All Wooyoung ever wanted for his soulmate was for them to be happy, and he couldnât stand when he would feel you hurt. He found it funny how quickly you would get annoyed or frustrated, he honestly just couldnât wait to meet you.
After a while of just enjoying feeling okay, he looked over and saw it was actually getting pretty late and he had an 8am class tomorrow. He had already skipped class today, he couldnât skip tomorrow too. So he quickly got ready for bed, slowly falling asleep with a warm feeling in his chest and a smile on his face.
âFeeling betterâ San asked as he plopped his stuff down next to Wooyoung. They had both shown up to class early, which was weird for the two who were normally the last ones into their classes. âYeah, Iâll be good manâ âthatâs good, because weâre parting tonight.â San excitedly as he took his seat next to Wooyoung. Wooyoung had been down for the past few days and yesterday was the tipping point, San just wanted him to go out and let loose.
Wooyoung let a chuckle slip past his lips as he shook his head. âI donât feel like going to another frat party-â âwell itâs not a frat party because weâre throwing the party- just come on manâ San whined as he all but begged his friend. âIâll think about it.â Wooyoung sighed. He pulled out his laptop and textbook, getting ready for class when he heard the door get busted open. Everyone turned to the door to see two guys scrambling to stand up, and a girl, trying to get away from the two as quick as possible.
âYou started it- hey, donât run away from us!â The taller of the two shouted at the girl as she rushed to get a seat. She pretended like she didnât hear them and sat two rows in front of San and Wooyoung. The two boys were quick to sit next to her, the shorter boy wrapping his arm around the girl as the taller one sat on her lap. âYou two are so embarrassing- get off.â The girl whined as she tried to pry herself away from the two.
Wooyoung watched in amusement, they were definitely going to make this new semester interesting. He seem couldnât pull his attention away from the trio, more specifically, the girl. She was beautiful, her smile was enchanting and her laughter made his heart swell, she was the type of girl people wrote songs about.
San noticed his friends staring and smiled. Wooyoung had always been faithful to a soulmate he had never met. He never had other relationships and he never gave into crushes he deemed âsmallâ and âsillyâ all because he had a soulmate. Now here he was, ogling over a girl he didnât know.
âWhy donât you go talk to herâ San suggested, making Wooyoung snap out of his gaze. âHuh, why?â âbecause you think sheâs cuteâ âI have a soulmateâ âand you're not gonna know how to treat them if youâve never been in a relationshipâ âthen I learn with themâ âwhat makes you think your soulmate's never dated anyone before?â Wooyoung had never considered that, but why would his soulmate date someone else if they knew they would end up with him- their soulmate. Wooyoung shook his head, trying to get rid of the jealous feeling that rose in his chest. He had no right to be jealous; he tried to reason to himself, but he couldnât help it.
San saw him overthinking and sighed, âlook, youâre just gonna have a nice friendly conversation with her, youâll be fine.â Wooyoung thought for a moment, and San was right, he was just going to talk to her, nothing else. âFine.â
--
After class you, Mingi, and Yeosang gathered your things and got ready to leave. âBe honest, the professor was totally checking me out, right?â You froze, giving Mingi an incredulous look before remembering, âItâs Mingi.â So with a small giggle you nodded, deciding to entertain his delusions. âYeah Min, She was totally checking youâ âI sense sarcasm; I will ignore.â Both you and Yeosang laughed as you continued to pack up, shaking your head at you crazy friend.
âUh heyâ the three of you snapped your heads up and saw two rather attractive guys standing in front of you. One had pink hair and cat like eyes that would probably be scary if he wasn't smiling. The other guy- he was breathtaking. He had jet black hair and the most enchanting eyes- whoa. âUm, hiâ you replied, silently wondering if your heart speeding up was you or your soulmate.
âWeâre throwing a party tonight and you guys seem⊠fun, so we were wondering if you wanted to come?â The one with black hair asked as he shot you a smile. Okay so the heart thing was definitely you, got it. You took a deep breath and looked back at your friends, who were already looking at you with puppy dog eyes. They knew you didnât like parties, but they loved parties, and loved to make new friends. Mingi even grabbed onto your hand like a toddler and pouted out his lip. Letting out a sigh, you turned back to the two boys and nodded, âweâll be there-â âyes!â The two boys behind you cheered, making you try to hold in a laugh, âum, I can give you my number and you could text me the address?â âyeah, sounds good.â The two of you quickly exchanged numbers and then the five of your exited the class before parting ways.
âThey were cuteâ Mingi sighs as he looks dreamily into the distance. âYeah, and one of them was totally checking out Y/nâ âHa, I beg your pardon?â Yeosang smirks as he pulls you in closer. âCome on Y/n, donât tell me you're blind? The dude you gave your number to was totally checking you outâ âwell it doesnât matterâ you say simply, trying to ignore the feeling of heat rising to your cheeks. Was he really checking you out?
âYou know, for someone who rejects the idea of her soulmate so much, youâve been awfully loyal to them.â Yeosang points out, âhuh?â âYouâve never been in a relationship, you never entertained anyone who had romantic feelings for you, hell you even stepped on Nicks foot when he asked you outâ âyeah but Nick was a dickâ Mingi interjected.
Okay, so maybe it was true youâve never tried to pursue a romantic relationship with anyone, but you didnât think that had anything to do with your soulmate. You had rejected the idea of love a long time ago. Nowadays, a relationship was another accessory everyone wanted to show off, and you didnât want to feel like a human handbag. People who found their soulmates often just assumed they would work out just because they were soulmates, they didnât try to make the whole process of falling in love special, they just flaunted their soulmate marks and relationships. You didnât want to end up like that, ever.
--
The party had been going on for about an hour in Wooyoung, San, Jongho, and Yunhoâs shared apartment and was now filled with people, most of which Wooyoung didnât even know. Sure, Wooyoung was a social butterfly and had probably talked to almost everyone there, but that didnât mean he knew them or even their names. Wooyoung lets out a sigh, leaning up against the wall as he sips his drink quietly. The only person Wooyoung actually wanted to see right now was you, but you were nowhere to be found.
âHey, this is your party, right?â Some girl asks as she comes up to Wooyoung. âMy roommates party, but yeah sureâ âwell itâs really greatâ she said cheerily as she looks up at him with a bright smile. Wooyoung nods, truly uninterested in what the girl had to say. âMhm, itâs superâ the girl giggles, leaning closer to Wooyoung who doesnât even spare her a glance. âYou seem to be the only one not having fun.â She says with a pout, and Wooyoung is about ready to just start ignoring her, but then he sees you walk in the room with your friends. He felt relief and excitement wash over him when his eyes landed on you âExcuse me.â Was all Wooyoung said to the girl as he quickly made his way over to you.
âYou made itâ Wooyoung cheers as he approaches the three of you. You smile and nod, looking around the crowded apartment for a brief moment, how do so many people fit in this small ass place, you wonder. Yeosang places a hand on your shoulder before telling you heâs gonna go get you guys some drinks and you nod. Wooyoung directs him to the kitchen and he ends up taking Mingi with him, leaving you and Wooyoung alone, well as alone as you can be in a crowded room.
âI didnât think youâd comeâ âI thought about it, trust meâ you only half joked, parties really werenât your thing. âWell Iâm glad you did, my night just got a whole lot betterâ he said as he gave you a sweet smile. You couldâve swore your heart skipped a beat, your eyes widening slightly at his comment. Wow this boy was smooth. âIâm sure your night was just fine without meâ you teased as you tried to play off your mini panic. âSure, it was fine, but now itâs better.â You just started at him, trying to push your butterflies deep, deep down. What the heck was up with this guy and why were you so affected by him?
Wooyoung smiled at your reaction, trying to push his own butterflies to the side, but he really couldnât, not when you were staring at him all cutely. He had to fight back the urge to pinch your cheeks, crossing his arms to help him out a bit. He was just as confused as you were, he had never felt so⊠interested by anyone like this before, it made his heart pound in his chest.
You quickly averted your gaze to try and stop the heat spreading to your cheeks, and thatâs when you noticed your two friends had abandoned you for some guys from your psychology class, Hongjoong and Seonghwa you think their names are. âWell thatâs rudeâ âyou mumbled under your breath, and Wooyoung heard you, following your gaze before laughing. âCome on, letâs get you a drink,â he said. He placed his hand on the small of your back and you quickly jumped away, feeling like you had been shocked.
The two of you stared at each other. Did he feel it too? Wooyoung, out of curiosity, looked down at your wrist, only to see it covered with a copious amount of bracelets. You too, looked at his wrist and you felt the urge to vomit when you saw the same little heart scar that you had stared at every day since you were nine on his wrist. It had to be a coincidence, right? It didnât matter, you suddenly felt hot, like someone had set you on fire and your breathing became uneven and heavy, you had to get out of there. Quickly turning on your heels, you rushed out of the apartment, rushing down the stairs to get as far away as you could.
Wooyoung was hot on your heels though, following behind you as soon as you left. âY/n, Y/n slow downâ Wooyoung called after you. The look on your face before you ran out had him so worried. Your eyes were wide, mouth slightly agape as your breathing started to pick up, he just wanted to know you were okay.
After running for a while, the thoughts in your head running rampant, you became light headed. You could barely stand up straight anymore, scraping both your palms and knees as you fell to the sidewalk. Wooyoung felt his heart drop when you fell and rushed to your side as quickly as he could. âHey Y/n, you okay, just breath. In and out like this, can you do that?â âN-no- I- too muchâ âY/n, hey Y/n look at me.â Wooyoung cupped your face, forcing you to look at him as he helped you calm down.
He knew then that you were his soulmate, because he could feel all of it, the light headedness, the heart racing, the fear that had built up in the pit of his stomach, he knew. So once you were calm and in his arms, he let out a shaky sigh, holding you a bit tighter as he looked down at you. He had dreamed about meeting his soulmate for so long, never did he imagine that his soulmate would get a panic attack upon finding out. All he wanted was for you to feel safe and happy around him, not scared and vulnerable.
The two of you sat there in silence on the side of the sidewalk for about 30 minutes, he still held you in his arms and you allowed him, feeling an odd sense of comfort from his hold. The two of you would get strange looks from passerbyers but you didnât care, not right now.
âThank youâ were the first words out of your mouth as you pulled away to look at him. Wooyoung just nodded, keeping his hand on your back, rubbing it gently as if to reassure you. âI should go homeâ you said quietly as you stood up, âlet me walk youâ âyou donât-â âIâm not letting you walk alone at night.â His voice was gentle, but his tone also told you there was no room for argument, he was going to make sure you got home safe.
The entire walk was silent, Wooyoung was trying to figure out what to say to you. How was he meant to start a conversation with his soulmate who seemed so freaked out about having a soulmate? Wooyoung wanted to let out a loud groan of frustration and fall to the floor like a toddler throwing a fit, but he didnât. Instead he turned to look over at you, letting a small sigh fall from his lips. âCan I ask you something?â Wooyoung finally speaks, making you stop to look at him. You nod, having a feeling you knew what he was going to ask. âWhy are you so afraidâ âIâm notâ he gave you an unamused look before holding up his wrist. âI can feel what you feel, remember?â Damn this stupid fucking bond, you mentally cursed. You know he deserved an answer, he was your soulmate and was equally affected by whatever was going on in your life as you were, but you didnât know him, you didnât feel comfortable opening up to him, not yet. âWill you be mad if I tell you I canât tell youâ âcanât or wonâtâ âwonâtâ you answered truthfully. Wooyoung let out a soft sigh before shaking his head, âI wonât be mad, if you're not comfortable Iâm not going to push you-â There was a beat of silence as he ran his hand through his hair as he tried to calm down his frustration. âWill you tell me eventually?â âI donât know⊠I hope soâ you answer truthfully. That seems to be enough for Wooyoung as he nods and takes your hand in his, motioning for you to lead the way.
--
It had been two days since the party and you hadnât seen Wooyoung since, and for some reason, it was killing you. You felt like a total sellout, just a week ago you were perfectly content with never meeting your soulmate, barely giving the idea a thought, but now? Now you felt like you needed to see him. You had heard about this from other people with the soulmate mark, they say that once you meet your soulmate, all you want is to be around them, you thought that was utter bull shit, until now.
Yeosang and Mingi still didnât know, and you werenât about to tell them. You knew that once you did they would tell you how much of an idiot you were being. All you had to do was talk to him, get to know him and then maybe explain why you think soulmates are overrated, but you were scared that you would break around him, and give into the system you despised.
âItâs been two days, you need to get out of bedâ Yeosang stated as he yanked your covers off you. âWhat even happened, why are you so moppyâ Mingi asked as he helped Yeosang get you to stand. âNothingâ you mumbled, allowing them to push you into the bathroom so you could brush your teeth and get ready for class. âCome on Y/n, weâre not dumb, we know whatâs going on.â You turned to Yeosang with wide eyes, he knew? How? âYouâve done nothing but stare at your soulmate mark for the past two day. SoâŠâ âso whatâ you replied, quickly turning back around to rinse out your mouth. âWho is it bitchâ Mingi shouted as he turned you around to look at him. âNo one, stop being weirdâ you tried to dismiss them and walk out but Yeosang blocked the door, staring straight into your eyes. âWho is itâ âWho is itâ they asked one after another, over and over again until they were basically chanting it in your ear. âStop it! Itâs Wooyoung, god itâs Wooyoung you freaks!â You shouted, quickly pushing past them to go back into your room.
âWooyoung! The guy who invited us to that party?â Mingi exclaims with wide eyes. âWhy didnât you tell usâ âbecause I knew you guys were going to freak outâ âobviously! You found your soulmate thatâs huge!â You just shook your head, he didnât get it, after all these years he still didnât understand. âYeosang, I donât want a soulmateâ âno you donât want an artificial, showy loveâ âwha-â âY/n, for as long as Iâve known you, youâve been nothing but closed off and reserved when it comes to the idea of soulmate, but I see you when you see couples, real couples walk down the street, or when you watch those cheesy rom coms or dramas. You want to be lovedâ Yeosang all but shouts at you. He loves you and he wants nothing but the best for you, but sometimes you could be so stubborn. âYouâre afraid of your soulmate using you and your relationship for attentionâ âI- shut upâ you pout, you hate how he knows you so well, itâs sickening.
Yeosang chuckles and takes a seat next to you on your bed, âso, it looks like you have two options, keep pretending that love is gross and disgusting and is the root of all evil, or you can share your concerns to Wooyoung and hope he understandsâ âwhat if he doesnât?â Your voice is so small you ask the question, because you were terrified he wouldnât, that the person you were meant to be with for the rest of your life would ignore your worries and brush them and you off. âThen me and Mingi will go have a little talk with him and youâll never have to see him againâ Mingi nods rapidly, showing you that he wouldnât let anything bad happen to you, neither of them would. âYou guys suck, you know that'' you tease, allowing Yeosang to pull you into a hug. He hums in response, pulling you closer to ease your anxiety.
--
You stood in front of Wooyoungâs apartment, eyes trained on the door as you worked up the courage to knock. Which was proving to be a lot harder than you thought. You bring your hand up to the door, fist ready to knock, but you donât you just stand there- until the door opens. You pull your hand back and step back quickly, you werenât expecting anyone to open the door. San smiles at you, âyou can go in, his room is the last door on the rightâ âthank youâ you mumbled, quietly slipping in as San leaves, probably to attend one of his classes.
Knocking on Wooyoungâs door is a lot easier than knocking on the front door. âGo awayâ sounds tired and it hurts to think you caused that. âI canât do that Wooyoungâ you respond. In no time at all heâs standing in front of you with wide eyes. His hair is a bit messy and his shirt is on backwards, but he still managed to look so god damn good. Pushing that thought aside, you give him a weak smile, and he returns it, stepping out and closing his door. âI would say letâs talk in my rooms but itâs a bit of a mess right nowâ you giggle, nodding as you follow him to the living room.
âIâm sorryâ is the first thing out of your mouth, âfor what?â He seems genuinely confused. Wooyoung didnât think you did anything wrong, he knew you needed space, it was just giving you that space was harder than he thought. âY/n you have nothing to be sorry forâ he reassures, gently rubbing your knee. You look at him and suddenly your fears of him not understanding melt away, in the short time you knew him, heâs probably the most understanding man you had ever met. He was sweet and kind and caring, how could you think he wouldnât understand.
So you tell him everything, from how you feel that soulmate love feels fake, artificial, that no one tries, to your fear that he might use you as a way to get attention from others. And He listens, he listens to it all, never once interrupting you, encouraging you to take your time when you struggle to get the words out. He even wiped your tears when you started crying, hell he even started crying himself.
âY/n-â He speaks up after you finish. He takes your hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze, â-I know my words wonât be enough to reassure you, so Iâll show youâ he smiles. When you give him a confused look he smiles even harder, âI will show you that love isnât superficial and Iâll show you that I will never use you, because I would never want to hurt you Y/n.â He speaks with so much sincerity that it overwhelms you, causing tears to effortlessly fall from your eyes. âAll I have ever wanted was for my soulmate to be happy, and if I can make you happy, I willâ Your body reacts before your brain can and you're immediately on him, hugging him so tightly as you let your happy tears flow freely. You donât say anything, and neither does he, but you donât have to, because both of you know that everything will be alright, as long as youâre together.
âAwww!â Wooyoung doesnât let go of you as the two of you turn to see the owner of the voice. âYun, you have terrible timing dudeâ Wooyoung grumbles to his roommate Yunho. âIâm sorry but that was just so sweet-â âget outâ Wooyoung whined as he pulled you closer, making you laugh. Yunho mocks Wooyoung before giving you a joking bow, âit was nice to meet you Y/nâ he says as he playfully winks. Wooyoung chases his friend out of the room before returning back to you. âMovie?â He questions and you nod, smiling up at him, âa movie sounds nice.â

Fandom: My hero academia (boku no hero academia)
Glossary:
Y/n = your name
Summery: Bakugou looses his life in battle and y/n goes to comfort Deku, soon Deku ends up forgetting about Bakugou as y/n rides him

You sucked in a breath, holding it for a while as you stared at the villain in front of you. You where crouched down low so you knew that he couldnât see you. But you sure saw him. Your quirk was called memory, you could memorize anything that you wanted. The downside to this quirk is that while your mind was full of knowledge your body was weak so it was no good for battle-training, another bad thing (or more annoying then anything) is that we canât forget it, ever, even if you wanted to. You remember every single detail of your life and every single thing that has happened to this point in grave detail. Not like you wanted to remember it, but you felt so worthless that it was almost blood to memorize everything. Like how there where five street lamps outside the bar. They where dimly lit and flickered every five second, each one after the other. The one on the very right was the first to flicker then it would go all the way to the left. Sometimes the one in the very middle would shut off at random times as the other lamps brightly shone in the night-sky.
âCould you stop mumbling?!â Katsuki whisper-yelled at you. You slightly cringed at the blonde maleâs words before nodding your head in a form of acceptance (for some reason people saw that as acceptance so you did as well).
Katsuki is a young man of average height for somebody his age, with a slim, muscular build, and a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright red in color. His hero costume is composed of a tight, black, sleeveless tank top, with an orange "X" across the middle, forming a v-neck. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic neck brace worn with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His sleeves reach from within his large grenade-like gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee guards, below which he sports black, knee-high combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it goes around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side.
You focused your eyes off of Kastsuki and onto Dabi, the villain who was standing guard outside the bar. Dabi is a fairly tall, pale young man of a slim, somewhat-lanky build, described to be in his early twenties. He has white hair with a few red streaks at the crown that spikes upward around his head, hanging low over his eyes, which are thin, turquoise in color, and heavily lidded. Before the reveal of his true identity, his hair was dyed black. His most striking features are undoubtedly the patches of gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that cover much of his lower face and neck, all the way down past his collarbone, below his eyes and on his arms and legs due to him having a quirk at a early age and not knowing how to control it. These appear to be attached to the rest of his skin by multiple, crude surgical staples or hoop piercings. He has several silver cartilage piercings in both ears, and a triple nostril piercing on the right side of his nose. He also seems to be lacking earlobes on both sides of his ears upon close inspection, he wears a dark blue jacket with a high, ripped collar, and matching pants, cut off above his ankles, a pair of dark dress shoes on his feet. He also has a plain pale gray, scoop-neck shirt, below which a gray belt with a circular pattern wraps around his waist, a leather satchel attached at the back.
Nobody knew his real name, until now, Dabi had revealed himself as Touya Todoroki. Everyone now calls him Touya but it never settled right in your gut to call him that. His name was Dabi to you and it will always be Dabi. It didnât matter if he did a big entry and say that he is part of the Todorokiâs Dabi didnât seem like them. The Todorokiâs where a strict family with ruled set in place. Endeavor, now the number one hero, had tried to welcome his family with more open arms. You could tell that Dabiâs opening was not out of grief for his family but instead out of spite. Like saying to Endeavor that he needs to take a chill pill with this whole anime redemption arc thing that he has going on for himself (and you didnât quiet disagree with the oriole scarred man either).
You often thought of life like a anime, it was easier to explain. If somebodies life was broken they just ended up in the wrong anime. It also helped reminded you that every villain has a backstory. You never got to see their perspective in things. You never got to see what happened to the villains after they got defeated. Nope. You never got to see that, maybe if people saw the villainâs side. Everyone would hate the heroâs and build their own path just as villains do. They make a path that no one has ever gone on, slowly making it a dirt road and them turning it again into an actual road that everyone can go on. Villains never got the roadwork. Heroâs probably always destroy it.
âSo whatâs the plan?â You leaned in close to Katsuki and whispered in his ear, Kastuki tensed up next to you and sucked in a breath before looking at you through pointy eyes.
âI will distract scar-man while you go and get Deku from the bar.â Kastuki explained, you nodded your head âyesâ before you pointing in the direction you where going to go. Kastuki grunted to himself as he crawled slowly in the opposite direction. Sending explosion at Dabiâs face before ducking behind a large wooden tool-box that had the words âBack Bend Incâ on it in Ariel black font. Although it had been there for so long that the black ink looked to be a dark smoky gray. You quietly padded off into the opposite direction, your head ducked and eyes darting every five seconds to catch every detail around you.
Silently, you slipped into the bar. There was a wooden plank that held up the first stand, it looked to be pretty normal from here. There was dark wine stands that had a light brown color to them. The walls where colored with a sand tan. Over by the bar there was stacks and stacks of different liquor that people could have. Above was the general black chalkboard menu, there was smeared blue chalk that said âSPECIAL: Burbonâ the strong smell of liquor and whisky hung in the air. There was a cigarette hanging off the ledge, still lit and everything. It looked pretty normal, but there was a slight piece of the cigarette where it was unwrapped and that told you enough to not say âfuck itâ and have a smoke break. Turning your head slowly you walked up to Kurogiri. Information began flooding in your head about the villains and the bar. Unluckily for you everyone noticed the smartness you had and quickly found out your quirk. They began to flood your Brian with information. Information that a kid didnât want to hear. You heard everything when you where just in High School. Now, everyone hated your quirk, everyone fucking hated it. The people who raised you said that you where a monster and that they didnât know you anymore. But the sad part was you didnt do anything wrong. After hours of racking through your mind you couldnât find a single moment where you did something bad. âI need to see Tomura.â You stared blankly at the mist villain. Kurogiri's entire body is made out of a dark purple mist, save for his eyes, which are glowing yellow. He normally wears a very elegant suit with a tie and has a metal brace that goes from around his collarbone to just below his eyes. It was pretty simple description of the villain, but there wasnât much to him.
âNow?â The male inquired, a hint of annoyance traced his smooth and calming voice. His voice sounded a lot like a gently sea softly rippling in the waves. But in actuality he was more like a thundering storm as the large ocean waves crashed harshly against large dark-gray-almost-black rocks.
âYes, it is important.â You answered, putting a fake smile across your face. You still heard the faint sound of explosions from Katsuki and knew that you didnât have a lot of time. Katsuki only could hold off for fifteen minutes before he went full on battle mood. And the villains would definitely think at something is up. Kurogiri hummed thoughtfully before nodding his head in agreement and holding out his purple misted hand.
âCome on dearâŠâ The man whispered soothingly and smiling up and down at you.
âThanks!â You chirped getting up and going behind the bar, following the villain down the stairs that creaked underneath your feet.
âBOSS!! Somebody wanted you!!â Kurogiri called, you took a deep breath before flinching as you looked into the villains base.
It was the same red bricks that seemed to be different colors every brick that was placed down to make the wall of the bar. There was smooth fake wood counter with clean royal red plush bar stools with the smallest backs on them. There was a few hero posters scattered around the base, one medium sized All Might poster hung to the right of a small screen TV. The dull gray light picketed on and off as the headlights didnât provide much protection against the dark loom of everything. Different types of bottles hung on narrowed shelves behind the bar. Right next to the bar was a metal door, the window had cages around it and a long shiny knob that went down the left side. To the right of the door was a old faction radio station with LED lights surrounding it. It was currently playing Take Me to Church, apparently just starting to play it seeing how the introduction was still on. You narrowed your eyes before leaning against the red brick wall and giving everyone a swept gaze. All of the villains names that where forced to memorize came to your head all of a sudden.
Himiko Toga was standing in the farthest left, spinning in the red barstools.
Himiko is a relatively petite, fair-skinned girl who is very prone to blushing and is frequently described as to having a rather pretty face. She has slightly inward-tilting bright yellow eyes with thin slits, making them somewhat resemble those of a cat, and her wide mouth is also rather feline, as both her upper and lower canines are more pointed and longer than the rest of her teeth, giving her a vampire-like appearance. Her hair is a pale, dirty ash-blonde and is styled into two messy buns, with numerous wild strands sticking out at all angles from their centers and where theyâre fastened, a straight fringe and two chin-length side bangs to frame her face. Himikoâs outfit consist of a plain seifuku with a Kansai collar, both the skirt and the shirt dark blue with a double white trim, which is paired with a red scarf that she ties loosely below. Over this, she wears an oversized beige cardigan with a rather long hem and cuffs, and pockets on either side, the right one shown to hold a number of trinkets on either a keychain or a cellphone strap. She sports knee-length black socks and dark brown dress shoes with thick heels, the same as the outdoor uniform shoes students traditionally wear in Japanese schools.
Tomura was standing next to Himiko, a bored expression clouding his features.
Tomura is a slim man with deathly pale skin, tinged yellow, and wrinkled a great deal around his eyes. His lips are chapped and uneven, a small mole on the right underneath, with visible scars on his right eye and under his lip. He has messy grayish-blue hair of varying lengths, the longest clumps reaching to about his shoulders, left hanging over his face in uneven waves. His eyes are normally obscured, but when visible, they are usually stretched wide in a rather maniacal manner, their bright red irises are very small.
Interestingly, when Tenko was at the age of five, he bore a striking resemblance to Izuku Midoriya, with his blue hair originally being dark black in color, while also having dried patches of skin around his eyes, though his lips were shown to be healthy in appearance. After his Quirk manifested, his appearance changed giving him a wrinkled face and changing his hair color.
Nobody else was in the base, the rest of the villains where busy surviving customers or dealing with Bakugou.
Then you saw him
DekuâŠ
Deku has been a classmate of yours for a while, although you guyâs rarely talked to each other you always admired his strength and wisdom. Soon he became the number one hero and you became the second, Bakugou and Todoroki following closely behind. The only real reason you where able to make it to number two was due to the popularity votes for citizens. Everyone liked you, they loo up to you. So rationally you often teamed up with Deku. He was not good with the citizens since he never got a chance to talk to them due to the fact that he broke his bones in battle often but his quirk was amazing. And you didnât have a lot of strength so that gave you time to connect with the citizens. The two of you working together helped everyone live a better place. Now seeing him tied up and helpless, it made you pretty angry.
âI would love to sit here and chat, but I got a hero to save!â You smirked as you raced on ahead and grabbed Deku, pulling him out of the chains before the villains had any time to react. Standing next to the hero you where slightly taller (mind you he hasnât grown since high school so that wasnât really anything to brag about being taller then him).
âHELLPPP!!!â A scream shouted from Kastuki, your eyes widened as you sprinted off to get the number three hero. Deku closely followed you as he got his quirk ready. But by the time that you rushed out you knew it was too late. Katsuki had been crushed by the blue flames that wrapped around his body.
âKACCHAN!!!â Deku screamed, DabI whipped his head around and started at the number one hero.
âYou idiot!â You hissed as you grabbed Dekuâs arm and made a run for it. Dragging him out into the open where a bunch of other heroâs whereâs standing just in case something happened. You noticed that they where busy on their phones and probably didnât even hear Katsuki screaming for help. You rushed Deku to the side of the red brick building and waited for a ambulance to come pick Deku up. Once they carried him away you narrowed your eyes at the pro-heroâs.
âI SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD I AM GOING TO KILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IF YOU ACT LIKE THAT AGAUN!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH STRESS YOU PUT US THROUGH??? DYNAMIGHT COULD HAVE STILL BEEN ALIVE IF YOU HAVENïżœïżœT SAT ON YOUR ASS ALL DAY AND ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF FUCKING SLUTS!! I SWEAR TO GOD I AM GOING TO RIP ALL OF YOUR HEADS OFF, FEED THEM TO MY DOG, MAKE MY DOG SHIT OFF A BRIDGE AND SEE THE SHIT SMEERED ON THE TIRE, GET A LIGHTER AND BURN THE CAR DOWN, TAKE THE ASHES AND PUT THEM IN A GROUND, I WILL TAKE THE GROUND WHERE THE ASH IS AND MAKE IT A STRIPER CLUB, AND THEN GET A EXORCIST TO PUT YOU TO HELL!!!â You started cussing them off, the pro-heroâs shuffled uncomfortably and looked at each other with weird stares. They knew that they where in shit when they pissed you off. You werenât very easy to piss off so when somebody pissed you off they knew they were in deep horse shit.
*** You rushed into the hospital bed where Deku was at. Your breath coming out in short puffs as you stood on the edge of the maleâs bed and watched as thick tears streamed down his face. You grew soft and laid a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
âCalm down babyâŠI am hereâŠâ You reassured, slowly climbing on the bed and getting on him. Deku gulped thickly at the closed distance between the two of you and began sweating nervously.
âY/n!â You yelped, trying to scoot back. You looked up at him and gave the male a cocky smile.
âWhat? Are you suggesting something?â You leaned in and whispered in Dekuâs ears. Deku whined before nodding his head âyesâ you rolled your eyes and began to unbutton your shirt. Popping out a few buttons in the process. Gently, you pulled down your panties and threw them to the side, lifting up your skirt and showing your ass to Deku. Deku trembled slightly and started licking at the entrance, slowly, he began eating you out. You moaned quietly before bucking Your hips backwards. Deku gasped before moaning also and continuing to do his work. Once Deku are you out for a few minutes you pulled away and Deku looked at you with large puppy dogs eyes. His Greek emerald eyes blown wide in lust.
You leaned down and took off his pants with your teeth, dragging your nails up his clothed hero uniform shirt. Deku bucked his hips up and whimpered. You smirked into the material. Once you actually got the pants down you slipped off his boxers and starting to get settled on Deku.
You and Deku had this off and on thing. You guyâs werenât dating each other and fucked other people but it was always a delight when you got to fuck him. A smile always formed on his lips when you topped him. He always thought that everyone was going to leave him to be the top, so it was reassuring when he saw that somebody cared about him enough to dom him and show him who is in control.
You where snapped back into reality when Deku gasped in shock as you took him all in, groaning slightly at the fact that you took him with such ease because he has been in you so much. Slowly you waited for yourself to adjust (which didnât take that long) before you started bouncing up and down. Deku threw his head back and moaned loudly as felt your walls clench around him. You kept bouncing on him up and down in a rhyme pattern.
âCome on baby, thought you liked itâŠâ You pouted, looking down on the green haired hero and smiling cockily.

Gordon & Alan
Secret Tunnel
Fandom: Thunderbirds Rating: Gen Genre: Family Characters: Alan, Gordon
Well, my muses have come to life again, which is both great for my mental state and annoying timing with regards to the uni work I'm supposed to be doing, but I'll make it work :D
After making a Military Bros masterpost of everything I've written for those two for Military Bros Day, I started thinking about all the different brother duos and how much I've written for each of them. Now, I might be forgetting something, but the one combination I don't recall writing anything for at all is Gordon&Alan, so I poked at my muses and we came up with this!
It's only a loose tie-in to the prompt, I think, but some sensible Tinies content counts as being mature, right?
Colour Symbol Prompts
âSo.â Alan glanced up at his brother, raising an eyebrow at the drawl. âDo you want the good news or the bad news?â Gordon continued, tone light in a way that would have been disarming if it wasnât Gordon, and they werenât in the remains of a collapsed building.
âWhatâs the bad news?â he asked, rolling his shoulder. It was stiff, vocally complaining at the movement, and Alan was well aware that without the pauldrons his overprotective brothers had thrown on his uniform before letting him join IR it would be a lot worse. While none of the debris had hit either of them directly, some smaller chunks of masonry had glanced off his left shoulder.
Gordonâs sharp amber eyes tracked the motion even as his brother spoke. âWell, the bad news is that our comms are down.â Alan had suspected as such, but the fact still dumped a heavy weight on his chest. No comms meant no John, no Scott or Virgil, no help from outside. He didnât like being cut off from his brothers at the best of times, and this was hardly the best of times.
Still, he at least had one brother this time, and despite his penchant for not taking things seriously at home, when out on a mission, Gordon was as reliable as they came. They might not have Thunderbird Fiveâs data at their disposal, or Scottâs leadership, or Virgilâs muscles, but they did have two working brains between them.
Panicking, as Alan had learnt the hard way on other rescues where things went wrong, did him no favours at all. He swallowed back the instinctual panic and met Gordonâs eyes in the artificial half light of the glowstick from Gordonâs baldric.
âSo whatâs the good news?â he asked.
âThe good news,â Gordon said with a flourish and grin reserved for when things werenât going their way and Alanâs immediate brother decided the world wasnât allowed to do that, âis that I think Iâve found us a way out.â
âYou think?â Alan couldnât help but question, even though he was already scrabbling his way to his feet and looking around in the hopes of seeing whatever Gordon had found.
âOver here.â He followed the glowstick as Gordon headed over towards where the rubble looked the thickest, blocking them in. âThereâs air flowing in.â
Neither of their uniforms offered much by way of exposed skin, but Alan leaned down where Gordon gestured and took off his helmet just long enough to feel a faint breeze on his cheek.
âWhereâs that coming from?â he asked, tugging his helmet back on. Gordon pointed at the floor, or what had once been the floor.
âItâs coming from down there,â he said.
âThe floor?â Alan knelt down where Gordon gestured. âWhy would it be coming from the- oh.â
The house theyâd been in, and were now trapped inside, had been an old one. Alan didnât remember the exact age, but it was a couple of centuries old at least. Old houses, especially larger ones, had secret passageways.
âSo how do we get it open?â he wondered out loud, already rummaging around the area. Gordon crouched down next to him with a shrug as his hands joined Alanâs in trying to find a way to open the passageway that had to be there if they were getting airflow.
âFigured finding ways to open secret passages was more your thing,â his brother admitted. âDonât those games of yours have secret passageways in all the time?â
The question was an honest one, and Alan blinked. âWell, yeah,â he said, âbut those are games. This is real. It wonât be the same.â Despite his words, his fingers were still pulling and pushing at the stones that made up the floor, because at least it was a lead.
They could, of course, wait for their bigger brothers to barge their way in, with Virgil encased in his exosuit and Scott so close behind heâd be standing on his heels while John guided them non-stop over the comms, but there was still a lot of work to be done and they were deep inside the building.
Said building took that moment to groan again, threatening another collapse if they didnât get out pronto. Alan loved his brothers, but he wasnât about to get crushed because heâd waited helplessly for rescue. The danger zone covered a large area, and while he and Gordon had found no casualties in their sector, Virgil and Scott would have to prioritise the civilians elsewhere no matter how much they might be panicking about losing contact with the pair of them.
If he and Gordon could find their own way out, so much the better.
âItâs close enough, right?â Gordon shrugged, still sounding inappropriately light-hearted for the situation. Alan didnât take it personally â Gordonâs coping strategies had time and time proven themselves to be effective.
âIâll let you know,â he grunted, finding ridges in the stone floor. âBring that light closer. I think Iâve got something.â
The sickly green glow spread across more of his vision as Gordon held it close to his hands, illuminating the remains of the floor below them. There were multiple ridges carved into the stone, all uniform and completely mundane.
Except for the section that wasnât.
Alan almost missed it, huffing in defeat as he sat on his haunches and rubbed at his shoulder again. At a glance, it looked no different to the rest of the floor, but it had caught his glove in a way the others hadnât. It was also in the same place as the mysterious airflow.
Gloved fingers scrabbled at the discrepancy, hunting for a purchase that would hopefully reveal their way out. Gordon had moved to crouch right next to him, holding the glowstick aloft but otherwise keeping his hands to himself and leaving the investigation to Alan. His presence there was comforting, helping Alan to keep it together when part of him wanted to scream into his dead comms in the hope that John would pick it up anyway.
There was a click, barely audible over the noise of creaking masonry in their immediate vicinity. Alan felt it rather than heard it, his fingers suddenly pressing down as the resistance vanished. Age old mechanisms whirred back into life, until with a clunk part of the floor moved down and to the side, revealing a small, dark, passageway leading down into the belly of the house.
âNice one,â Gordon acknowledged, leaning forwards and peering into the inky depths. A second glowstick was snapped and tossed in, illuminating what was definitely a rough-hewn rock corridor. âIâll go first.â
He was halfway in by the time the words registered, and Alan peered at the opening with some reluctance. âAnd youâre sure this will get us out?â he checked, because he didnât want to wait to be rescued like a civilian, but he also had no intentions of being buried alive.
âThat airâs coming from somewhere,â Gordon reminded him, edging forwards a few more paces until he reached the glowstick laying where it had landed on the floor of the corridor. âAnd the roof of this thing seems pretty sturdy.â He rapped it a couple of times with his knuckles. âIf the rest of the house collapses, thisâll be the last thing to go.â
A glance around showed that his brother was probably right. Alan swallowed before following him inside, sticking right on Gordonâs heels as the older blond led the way, glowstick held up high for light.
As far as passages went, it was small. Apt for a secret passage, but annoying when the ceiling lowered and the pair of them had to stoop almost double to get through some sections. It twisted and turned, in some areas narrow enough to force them to go through sideways, and at one point the way forwards seemed to vanish altogether before Alan realised a shaft of rock was concealing the next section.
It definitely lived up to its likely original purpose of a secret escape. Pursuing someone through there would be difficult; luckily, the only aim Alan and Gordon had was getting out of the collapsed building.
The first sign of the outside world was when their comms crackled in unison. It was impossible to make anything out through the static, but the garbled voice of John was definitely missing the calm tones their ginger brother usually deployed on rescues. Scottâs response was short and sharp, clipped in a way that screamed panic, and the low rumble of Virgil felt on edge, too.
Returning comms promised that they had to nearly be out, and Alan stumbled forwards, almost catching himself with his painful shoulder before he arrested his momentum with his healthy arm instead.
Neither he nor Gordon spoke, even though he was certain the same thoughts had to be running through his brotherâs head as well. They were close, but they werenât out yet, and had no reassurance that the exit for the secret tunnel hadnât been collapsed or buried by more falling debris.
Still, it remained the best chance they had. Alan didnât fancy trailing back through the passageway and sitting back in the rubble of the building, and he knew Gordon felt the same, so pushing onwards was their only choice. It continued to twist and turn, dog-legging and backtracking with no apparent rhyme nor reason. Alan tried to keep track of it in his head, logging it like any secret passage in Cavern Quest, but it put all the virtual ones to shame.
Then Gordon stopped, and Alan walked straight into him.
âOw!â he exclaimed instinctively, before stepping back a pace. âWhy have we stopped?â
âIt doesnât go any further,â Gordon said, holding the glowstick high. It was running out of juice, leaving the sickly green glow far fainter than it had been earlier. It was barely enough light to make out his brotherâs face, let alone whatever the rocks surrounding them were doing. âThis must be the end.â
âSo get us out,â Alan shrugged, rubbing his shoulder and trying to hide the wince of pain that came with the action. Their comms were still broadcasting garbled static interspersed with panicked voices, but the signal was still too poor to even attempt to get hold of John. âThereâll be a mechanism somewhere. Try looking for something slightly off in the ridges on the stone?â
âTrying,â Gordon grunted. The faint green-lit silhouette of his shoulders strained as he pushed and pulled at the rocks. âNot finding anything, Alan.â
âLet me try.â He pushed forwards, trying to squeeze past Gordon to get a better look at the wall of rock blocking their way. Gordon fell back without complaint, although it took a lot of pushing and pulling, and a concerning scrape against his helmet before they managed it.
Alan was struck by a flash of gratitude that none of their older brothers were with them. Scott and John would both be too tall, and Virgil was too bulky. Getting through the passageway with one of them would have been a nightmare. At least he hadnât yet stopped growing and Gordon was small â not that he planned on mentioning that to Gordon just yet. There was a time and a place for the teasing, and this was neither.
With Gordon now behind him, looming over his shoulder with the ever-fading glowstick held out helpfully in his periphery, Alan reached out and felt around for something similar to the switch heâd found to get them into the tunnel from the other end. Carefully uniform ridges carved across the rock and he followed them with his fingers until, finally, something gave.
Bright light spilled in as the end of the tunnel opened, blinding him with midday sun.
That, however, paled in comparison to the way both their comm audios suddenly sharpened.
âAny sign of them?â Scottâs voice demanded.
âKeep working on getting the mother out of that room,â John non-answered, still sounding far too on edge. âVirgil, thereâs a small life sign the other side of the wall.â
âF.A.B.â The forced calm of Virgilâs voice told Alan he was no less agitated than the other two.
âHey guys.â Gordon chipped in, echoing in Alanâs helmet from the comm channel in stereo with the sound of his voice in real time. âWhere do you need us, Thunderbird Five?â
âGordon!â All three voices overlapped in frantic cacophony. âWhere are you?â Scott demanded. âWhereâs Alan? Are you okay?â
âIâm here, too,â Alan promised.
âWeâre fine,â Gordon added. âWhoâs left to save?â
âVirgil and Scott are on the last life signs now,â John told them. âYour signals have reappeared a fair way out from the danger zone; get yourselves back to Thunderbird Two.â
Alan looked around and realised he was right â the two Thunderbirds gleamed in the sunlight, but it was immediately clear that the passageway theyâd taken had led almost directly away from the crafts. Even in a straight line, the walk was going to take a good quarter of an hour.
Next to him, Gordon sighed and started walking. âF.A.B.,â he agreed. Alan stumbled a little as he lurched forwards to keep up. âWeâll see you there.â
Sure enough, by the time they arrived, both on-site brothers were waiting impatiently. It was clear that it was only the presence of their rescuees that had stopped them from striking out to meet them, but even that wasnât enough to stop their big brothers charging towards them as soon as they were visible.
Scott reached them first, always the fastest runner, and Alan let out an oof as he was crushed into a frantic hug alongside Gordon. Worried blue eyes looked them both over, narrowing as they found something they didnât like.
He was pushed aside as Virgil reached them, Thunderbird Twoâs pilot refraining from giving them a bear hug only because heâd clearly spotted the scrape on Alanâs helmet as heâd approached.
âAre you hurt?â A medscanner was deployed almost before Virgil was finished talking. Scott didnât wait for permission from anyone before carefully detaching Alanâs helmet and peering at his head. Alan didnât bother to stop him.
âIâm fine!â he made sure to protest, though, although his hand betrayed him as it subconsciously moved across to rub at his shoulder again. None of his brothers missed the action, and before he knew it he was being whisked inside the green Thunderbird so Virgil could take a closer look.
Scott hovered worriedly by his side, glancing over periodically at Gordon. Alan followed suit, catching Gordonâs eye, and his brother rolled his eyes exaggeratedly. It was fond, though; Alan wasnât at all surprised by Scott and Virgilâs behaviour, and he highly doubted Gordon was, either.
It was just a hazard of having older brothers.

vengeance / chapter 9: anxiety
chapter 8: unspoken confession | chapter 10: loving
vengeance masterlist
Bakugou could still feel his heart pounding in his ears as he made his way quickly across the town.
Why hadn't he taken a car? He didnât know.
Maybe because it felt like he was getting there faster if he was able to blast his way to the edge of the city without getting stuck in traffic.
The urgency to get to the scene was so immediate, it almost gave him whiplash from how his emotions had changed within the past five minutes.
Five minutes ago, heâd been standing in your apartment and ready to open up the last of his walls to you. Ready to show the deepest parts of himself that he thought heâd buried so long ago.
Five minutes ago, he was pissed off at the fact that it was his night off, and that he shouldnât have been disturbed when he was spending time with you.
But all of that drifted away from the thirty seconds he heard frantic shouting about your name, how he had to come quickly, and how there were pictures of you.
Kirishimaâs words were ringing in his ears as he finally spotted a few police cars headed off into the same direction, and he followed them to a old apartment complex that was now flooded with heroes, civilians, and cops alike.
He quickly controlled his blasts to bring him to a stop in front of the building, uncaring of the few dirty looks he was getting from the officers. He knew they were sneering at him from the sidelines because this part of town was technically out of his jurisdiction. And normally, he wouldnât give a flying fuck about stomping over there and creating a scene to silence their dirty looks.
But he couldnât. You were the only one on his mind.
He quickly caught wind of Kirishimaâs notorious hair above the crowd, and jogged his way over to him quickly.
Kirishima immediately returned his confused looks with a grimace before he explained the situation.
âThe police said that they received a 911 call at 8 oâ clock, stating that there was a girl in danger at the address of this apartment and that they needed to check out the scene immediately,â Kirishima started as he lead Bakugou through the crowd of people standing about the entrance of the building. âNow normally, those kinds of calls would be ignored since the person who called hung up immediately after they said that. But the operators reported that they had received multiple calls for the same apartment reporting a disturbance. They said it sounded like a fight.â
Bakugou nodded along as he listened to Kirishima. Theyâd finally made their way to the entrance of the building, where some reporters had snuck in and were trying to interview other heroes and policemen on the situation.
âSo the police sent one of their cars out to investigate the apartment they said the disturbance was coming from, and I uh⊠I think you should see it for yourself,â Kirishima gestured to the opened apartment door in front of them.
Bakugou shot him a sidelong glare before stepping in.
âSâ filthy,â he sneered, giving a pointed stare at the dirty clothes that were littering the small living room. He wasnât going to give it a second look but something very blatantly caught his eye.
It was a red pair of lacy panties that was mixed into the jumbled mess of clothes, blatantly sticking out of the drab colors, and he kneeled down to get a closer look. They seemed familiar, somehow.
âTut tut,â he heard from across the room.
His glare was immediately directed towards the sound of the disapproval coming from the doorway between the bathroom and the kitchen.
Of fucking course this side of town lies in Monomaâs jurisdiction.
âOf course youâd be one to start handling evidence without thinking about the consequences of your actions,â he said condescendingly.
âLook man,â Kirishima immediately stated. âI know this isnât even part of our area but please donât start this right now. You know what the situation is.â
Monoma only rolled his eyes as he shoved his way past the two to head out the door.
âHave fun.â
The room was silent for a few moments, as Bakugou left the panties on the floor and inspected the rest of the room. He didnât like how no one was actually telling him what happened.
âCould we stop tiptoeing around the actual problem and actually show me whatâs wrong? Why the hell is Y/N in danger and how is she involved in all this shit?â, he spat, turning his attention to Kirishima immediately.
âGo look in the bedroom.â
Bakugou quickly spun on his heels as he walked to where Kirishima had directed him. He stopped half-hazardly in front of the door, slightly scared over what could possibly be behind it and why it was so bad.
And as soon as he opened the door, his eyes widened at the sight of your face plastered on every single wall in the small room.
That underwearâŠ. That underwear was yours.
He turned back to see Kirishima in the doorway giving him a grimace as he crossed his arms over his chest. He knew how bad it was.
âWho lives here?â, Bakugouâs rough voice broke the small semblance of silence in the small room. He wasnât asking, he was demanding.
An officer walked past Kirishima and stepped into the room, turning to address Bakugou quickly.
Yours and Bakugouâs relationship wasnât a secret from the public, and this officer knew exactly who he was dealing with. It didnât matter in this situation if the area was in Bakugouâs jurisdiction or not because of the subject matter of the case. And heâd rather deal with other officers being annoyed at the proâs presence than the possibility of getting his arms blown off.
âThe landlord said the man who lived hereâs name is Ochiro Ito,â the officer replied simply.
âWhere is he?â âI apologize sir bu-â
âWhat the hell are you apologizing for you fucknut?â Bakugou interrupted quickly. âWhat's the answer to the goddamned question I was asking?â
âHe wasnât here when the police arrived on the scene, sir.â
Kirishima immediately noticed the way Bakugouâs eye began twitching uncontrollably as he stepped closer to the officer. It appeared that he was about to lunge at him and choke him right then and there.
Kirishima quickly ushered the officer out, trying to make sure that he wasnât present to experience the wrath of the angry blonde.
Well, angry wasnât the right word.
He looked livid.
His breaths were coming out short and shallow, and it was obvious that every second he stayed in the room was making him angrier. He was about to destroy the whole place and everything in it.
The fact that someone had been violating you, looking at you, even thinking about you in this way wasâŠ
He couldnât even describe it.
It felt like his chest was burning in a way he couldnât understand. Your smile plastered in front of him didnât have the effect it normally did. It made the feeling worse. He felt like he was going to collapse and fall to the floor at any second.
The anxiety bubbling up in his chest was becoming overbearing, and his already heavy breathing wasnât helping calm his mind down in any capacity. Your face was running through his mind currently, and he needed to know you were okay.
All the what ifs in the entire world ran through his mind in that moment, and even as he tried to make a move to call you, or step out the door, or anything, his body refused to listen. He just stood there, breathing heavily.
Kirishima noticed the loud breathing and quickly stepped over to where Bakugou was staring wide-eyed at the ground. He was having an anxiety attack.
âHey,â Kirishima spoke softly, bringing his hand up to Bakugouâs shoulder. âItâs okay. Sheâs fine. Sheâs at home and nothingâs going to happen to her.â
He pressed small circles into Bakugouâs back, trying to bring him out of the state that he was in. Itâd been so long since heâd seen him like this.
Bakugouâs breathing began slowing down slightly, as he tried to match his with Kirishimaâs. The words he was hearing were helping slightly, but the sinking feeling in his stomach was throwing his mind off.
âLook, the police have already started to look for him okay? Even Monoma said that heâll tell the others at his agency about what happened and theyâll be helping the investigation. Sheâll be fine, I promise.â
Bakugou almost wanted to punch him at that moment. How the hell could he promise that in the first place? Bakugou, himself, had promised that he would always protect you, and look at what was happening. There was some psycho on the loose that had been stalking you for who knows how goddamn long and he had no idea about it.
What was wrong with him? What if this guy had tried something with you? What would have happened then?
âItâs all my fault. Everything is all my fault. I shouldnât even be here anymore.â
âYeah,â was all Bakugou said before he stepped out of the room.
...
The second Bakugou left, you were left staring at the door heâd exited through.
For the second time today, you had no idea what was happening, or where he was going. You had no idea if he was in danger or anything.
After locking the door, you sighed as you leaned back against it.
When would Katsuki finally begin to tell you about these things before he ran off? Itâd been 5 years since youâd been together, and youâd known him for even longer. Couldnât you be trusted with whatever was going on?
Then there was the thing with Midoriya, which he still hadnât addressed whatsoever. The only information youâd gotten out of that situation was from Midoriya himself. Katsuki had nothing to do with anything youâd learned.
You glanced longingly at the tv, wanting to turn it on and check the news to see if you could find out what was happening.
And at first, you felt almost guilty about it. Katsuki was trying to tell you something before he was interrupted. And it wasnât like he was going to come back without explaining the situation to you when he walked in.
As you mulled over the idea for a few moments, you became distracted when your phone began ringing.
You walked over to where it sat on the table slowly, staring at the caller slightly confused. It was Camie.
You pressed the accept button and brought it up to your ear slowly, only to be attacked by her shouting into the phone for you to turn on the news quickly.
What if something happened to Katsuki?
âOkay I got it, I will,â you breathed out.
You were trying to sound cool and collected but you felt like you were about to pass out. Katsuki had left in such a rush and there was something that had gone unsaid between the two of you.
You fumbled over the remote as you tried to turn the news channel on quickly, ignoring the other notifications that were coming through the phone, also telling you to turn the news on.
Finally you turned on the news channel, looking at the reporter who was standing outside an old apartment building along with other heroes and officers.
âGood evening, this is Rika Suzumi coming to you live from an apartment building at the edge of downtown, where the stalker of the number four hero, Dynamiteâs girlfriend lives. Police were sent down to the scene after numerous calls reporting a fight, followed by someone claiming a woman is in danger. When investigating the apartment of the stalker, it was found that he had many personal items as well as pictures of twenty-five year old Y/N L/N, leading to many heroes to arrive at the scene, including Dynamite himself.
The screen cut away from the reporter to a video of Katsuki walking with Kirishima right beside him. The press was attacking them both with questions, and while Kirishima tried to pacify them, Katsuki looked completely out of it. He had a dazed look and acted like he wasnât being surrounded.
You glanced down at your phone, only to see that Camie had already hung up.
You only stared back at the tv screen in shock, not knowing what else to do in the situation. Your shoulders slumped as you fell back onto the couch, your eyes giving a glazed stare to the tv in front of you.
The news cut back to the reporter, as she added, âThe police have also said that he was nowhere to be found when they arrived at the scene. So if you see this man, going by the name of Ochiro Ito, please contact the authorities immediately.â
When the screen cut to a picture of him, you couldnât shake off the nagging feeling in your mind that youâd seen him somewhere before.

skin starving
tony stark x f!reader fluff. no warnings, just a few f-bombs. touch starved tonyâs third person pov. words: 2,5k. no beta because i just really needed to get this off my chest.
recommended music to go with the story: two feet - 'love is a bitch' & 'quick musical doodles'. Or any lo-fi hip-hop radio really.
It started as an itch. At first, a small but bothersome thing, that kept him up at night, steering the already unreasonable hours of wakefulness into dangerous territory. The cold of his bed was unappealing and more often than not, heâd started passing out on the flat surfaces nearest to him: workshop, lab, common room couch, the lazy boy in Bruceâs apartment.
The team noticed, of course, they werenât blind. They all had been on edge the first few months after Pepper left him. They expected him to act out, lock himself up in his lab or go back to his old habits of boozing and bringing home a different girl every night. And he had tried that, once or twice, but airheaded twenty-somethings werenât appealing anymore. Most of the time their ass kissing and blatantly flattery annoyed him further into self-loathing abyss. He simply couldnât step up to be the kind of man they described him to be - it seemed as if every woman on planet Earth had a whole list of expectations he specifically could not meet.
With Thor off planet, not one remaining person on the team was particularly touchy-feely. And that was the thing with Tony Stark: as an engineer, as a mechanic, he made his way through the world hands-first, every approach he had was hands-on. During late nights and early mornings, he laid in bed, sleepless and dreamless, desperately refusing to admit his own touch starvation.
Whenever Rogers threw an arm around his shoulders during a particularly successful team bonding activity, it took every ounce of willpower Tony had to not lean into it and purr like a cat. He hadnât truly forgiven Steve for his cold, cruel words of criticism shortly after Pepperâs departing. He wasnât going to chummy up to a man who thought him selfish, opportunistic and self-absorbed.
Tony became irritable and withdrawn. He simultaneously craved and avoided even the casual, friendlier attention his teammates gave him on a daily basis. His usual snark became that much more biting, having caused several people to storm out of team meetings.
On a cold autumn morning, Tony had found his way at the towerâs Starbucks on the employee floor. He had squeezed a generous five hours of restless sleep and he was sick of the plain black coffee in his kitchen. A spontaneous desire for something sweet and creamy and caffeinated led him to the place in line at the cafeteria, only a few early birds ahead of him.
Tonyâs brain was hazy as it had been past few weeks, dull from the lack of rest and the hyperfixation of his own skin feeling alien to him. For once, he wasnât typing away on his StarkPhone as he usually did to avoid being bothered; Tony stared straight ahead, unseeing, nothing but white noise in his usually racing brain.
Two women stood in front of him and he couldnât help but overhear a part of their conversation.
â⊠Are you really horny or just lonely or touch-starved, though? I mean, Tinder? Itâs not really your style.â
âEh, I dunno. Probably the second but itâs not like men go on Tinder to find a cuddle buddy.â
âWell, maybe? Iâve heard about arrangements like that.â
âNo offense, babe, but itâs probably kids in their early twenties. Those gen-zâs, babe, are weird. Iâm not really up to date on all of that.â
The topic of the conversation was what piqued Tonyâs interest; the world liked rubbing salt into his wounds and hysterically laugh at his misfortune. Bleary-eyed, he briefly scanned the two women: both appeared to be interns or junior techs in his company, evident by the purple employee badges hanging from their bags.
âSo what are you going to do?â One woman asked the other as their turn to order took Tony one step closer to obtaining his desired caffeine.
âUnless someone normal magically appears with an offer of no-strings-attached, good oleâ snuggle fest, I guess Iâm getting dicked down on Saturday,â The other replied with a teasing tone. The lack of excitement in the last part of the sentence was obvious.
âGross,â The first one shook her head and hurriedly rattled off her order to the barista who looked about as disgruntled as Tony felt.
Hours and three coffees later, Tonyâs overactive brain was still stuck on that woman from the cafeteria. Her back, her purse stuffed full of colorful manila folders, her neatly gathered hair - Tony Stark had nearly perfect memory and he remembered every single detail despite his brain fog. Objectively, she was attractive, no more no less than a different dozen of women heâd seen at any point in his life before. So why was he hung up on her?
It didnât take him a long time to find her file, faster than heâd liked to admit. Manually sorting through hundreds of interns, lab technicians and various second-tier employees wasnât exactly considered productive but with Pepper and her nagging out of the picture, Tony could afford to slack off a little bit.
So he found her name and her e-mail address, skimmed over her performance report with satisfaction, finding her to be a busy bee in the 90-th percentile. Her superiors considered her trustworthy, hard-working and communicative, all good traits.
Pepperâs absence meant heâd have no one to cover his ass should he get slapped with a harassment suit; however, he was the Tony Stark after all. He had more money that heâd cared to count and an army of lawyers at his disposal 24/7.
Amidst the jumbled mess of wires, circuit boards, tablets, empty coffee cups and the occasional piece of paper, Tony typed up an e-mail to the woman sharing his⊠Condition.
âI heard you and your friend talking at Starbucks. I could use a cuddle buddy. Wine and Netflix at my place? Whatâs your takeout preference?â
No. That came off way too creepy, like he was some kind of a dirty eavesdropper.
He contemplated some more, typing up and erasing multiple e-mails with various proposals: his penthouse, her place, a three Michelin star restaurant, a walk in the park. Almost all of it screamed âdateâ, like heâd drag her off to bed the very moment an opportunity wouldnât present itself. It wasnât so: Tony Stark, the playboy genius, had his dick firmly tucked into his pants. The thought of fucking her crossed his mind only briefly, quickly being chased away by the thought of her fingers running through his hair. Her warm, soft body in his arms. Just laying on his couch, eyes closed, reveling in each otherâs arms.
Tony hit send on the least obnoxious option. He baited his breath, clicking his fingers in anticipation as the message showed itself to having been delivered.
âMary, is this you trying to be funny? Stark is going to fire you if he finds out youâre impersonating him to stop your friend from going on a questionable date. Grow up.â Came the very prompt reply, ending with a short string of angry emojis. Tony could totally trust a person who used emojis unironically and generously.
âFor the record, I wouldnât be mad if somebody pretended to be me for the sake of saving their cute friend from a creep. The problem would be making it look credible.â Tony typed up the answer without thinking, quickly snapping a picture of himself holding the Starbucks cup with his name written on it, throwing his usual sloppy peace sign. He attached it to the email and hit send.
âWTFâ Came the reply not a minute afterwards. He let it sink in, giving the woman some time to gather her wits. She did not disappoint. âOkay, even if we pretend this is real - which I doubt - whatâs in it for you? If you heard our conversation, you surely know my stance on the matter.â
âIâm always glad to prove you wrong. Iâm a genius - comes with the territory.â Tony simply couldnât resist adding a generous dose of snark. âYouâre welcome to meet me after clocking out. Use the private elevator, my AI will beam you up.â
The reply took a considerably long amount of time, seeing as previously, she typed back rather quickly. âPlease donât be a creepy rapist, Scotty. Fingers crossed.â Tony managed to almost break his stylus twice. His hands shook, and he had to tell himself to breathe - still, he laughed at the clever way she replied.
Several more hours later, during which Tony had nearly paced a hole through various floors on the residential side of the tower, he took a quick shower, dressed in a flattering but comfortable designer sweatpants and polo combo and made himself at home on the obscenely large living room sofa on his own, private penthouse floor.
He was up and running towards the elevator when Fridayâs voice notified him of the woman entering the elevator on the employee floor. Tony tousled his hair, adjusted his glasses, fiddled with the drawstring of his pants.
The woman was wearing casual office wear, pants and a loose blouse, a lab coat loosely draped over her arm and her purse hanging off the shoulder on a thin strap. Her hair was loose now, a little frizzy as if she continuously ran her hands through it. Tony quietly rejoiced at not being the only nervous one.
Clever eyes scanned the room with unhurried interest before finally landing on him. âNot too shabby, if I say so myself,â The corners of her mouth tilted in an attempt at a smile, it was obvious she was studying him.
âThanks, I try my best,â Tony smirked. Humble he was not. âSo, how do you want to do this?â
âI see a comfortable couch,â She looked to be grateful for being given the opportunity to lead this interaction. âLetâs park our behinds on it, bicker for ten minutes about a movie choice and settle on one none of us really like. Then we can tell each other our no-no zones and, well, yeah,â She started out confidently. Probably practiced in the elevator. But towards the end, her shyness took over.
For Tony, it was kind of cute. A nice change from suck-ups that flocked him at every social gathering in hopes of getting something out of him. The woman that had tossed her bag carelessly on the far end of the couch and untucked her blouse looked and felt like the exact opposite of those people. She looked willing to give.
Tony sat next to her, keeping a couple of inches of free space between them. âFood preferences? Food allergies?â He asked, tapping the food delivery application.
âNope, and I will eat just about anything.â He felt more than saw her side-eyeing him. Both of them were jittery. So uncharacteristic for Tony, to be blushing and stammering like a high school boy. Sex was easy, but intimacy? Complex. It was addictive and eventually, painful.
Movie decisions were surprisingly easy and she said so. They settled on a Tarantino classic, an old flick neither of them had watched in a long time. As the discussion progressed, Tony used his wits to find out more about her without making it seem like an interrogation. He had run a background check on the woman and her family but those only went that far, besides, it was a great opportunity to practice the tips Natasha had shared with him at one point or another. Being friends with spies had itâs perks.
They ate their food until their bellies were full. A comfortable, relaxing stupor, being warm from the inside out.
Tony noticed when the woman spoke, she spoke with her hands. She had caught herself grasping his forearm multiple times when theyâd got more passionate about their discussion. And what Tony loved the most was that she refused to apologize. He saw a kindred soul in the woman; quiet until something struck her fancy. Then, she became a whirlwind of ideas and opinions.
In no time, it became a natural action to extend his arm and wrap it around her shoulders, reclining backwards. There was little grace in laying belly-up like a dead fish but the woman didnât seem to mind. Watching him out of the corner of her eye, she laid down sideways, throwing a leg over one of his own.
Her palm traced the outline of his arc reactor when something on the screen caught her in a moment of intense interest. Tony preferred to avoid the cursed thing - scars around it definitely did not do any favour to his aging, marked body - but he found himself exhaling the tension when it was obvious the woman really did not care. An occasional quiet hum of satisfaction was the only noise that came from her: he noticed the sound escaped her lips every time his thumb began fiddling with the sleeve of her blouse and rubbed against her arm.
He was quite content. It was warm, he was surrounded by so much warmth.
The hug was mutual when she left home, both of them comfortable with the gesture for people who had met in a rather unconventional way.
She started coming over a couple of times a week, a quiet evening of the best takeout in NYC and (mostly) interesting movies. A solace, always a single e-mail away.
Tony saw her in the cafeteria once or twice; he appreciated the brief, tiny secretive grin she gave him out of her friendâs eyesight. She never approached him. He was grateful for that. He didnât want to deal with all the drama and all the fuss surrounding incidents between him and his employees. It was nobodyâs business what any of them did after clocking out - and him and his cuddle buddy, they werenât even fucking, for Thorâs sake.
Maybe they would get there someday. Or maybe they wonât. It was only now for Tony. The rare free Saturday night he had, he truly took a vacation from all the bullshit and lured her in with promises of very expensive wine, her favourite New York style pizza and the willingness to entertain watching a few of those funny YouTube videos she liked.
They did watch them and Tony didnât mind. He stepped over the irrational fear and the initial discomfort and curled up around her, hiding his face in the soft cotton of her worn hoodie, his own breath tickling his face in warm puffs. The hand running through his hair was tender like it never was with Pepper - his ex was far too preoccupied to baby her grown-up boyfriend. But the woman moulded to his body like an extension of himself was happy to do so. Tonyâs hair was longer now and it glided perfectly along the womanâs palms.
His heart was steady, thumping in his ears, overshadowing the noises coming from the TV. He exhaled and felt her other hand begin tracing circles on his back, as if she saw the stress and the bitterness leave his body with every caress, every brush of their bodies. Maybe she did?
He held onto her, held her back like sheâd held him. Safekeeping the warmth inside of him. Guarding his peace.

in between. (drabble series)
chapter five (comfort.)
cheshire!sans x gender neutral reader. 3k+ word count.
please be advised for themes of addiction, drugs, alcohol, self deprecating thoughts and apathetic feelings.
* itâs time for our dear underlust sans, cheshire, to have his turn! if youâd like to check out more about our resident catboy, feel free to check out his tag here on my tumblr!  thank you and i hope you enjoy!
Don't get attached.
That seems like a pretty simple motto to live by, huh?
Well that's because.... it was.
In a world that cared little for anything beyond their momentary value, it was easy to not get attached. Everything changed day by day in this fast paced life. There was always a new video to look at, or a new phone to buy. Always a new trend to jump on or a new topic to talk about. You didn't form attachments to those things, you just used them to pad out your day so you didn't have to think about your meaningless existence, and then you were done with it.
You got rid of it.
Threw it out.
Forgot about it.
It no longer mattered because it no longer entertained you.Â
There was always something newer and shinier to look at just around the corner anyways, so.. why would you think twice about it?
Things were just.. easier.. when you didn't get attached...
You.. couldn't feel the pain of being let go.. if there was nothing holding you there in the first place.
.....
A shame he had to learn that the hard way, but that was life.
This world treated it's people like a commodity, always being bought and sold for their looks, money or talents.
Anything else was just worthless.
Filler.Â
Like packing peanuts that belonged in the garbage after you stripped a box of its goods.
Nobody cared how you felt.
Your emotions didn't matter in the slightest.
All that really mattered is that you played your part.
You spoke your empty words.
You did your flashy dance.
..You sold your soul.
..And then.. you'd collect your earnings and leave so you could go and buy the newest phone model you had your eye on.
.....
Emotions were.. well..Â
...Worthless.
...Just like they always were..
Just like they had been.. back in his own Underground.
Which is why, on that day..Â
When that realization set into Sans' bones that the surface really was no different..
That it didn't matter what he did..
Or how he felt..
...He swore to himself...
That he'd never get attached.
......
..And that's exactly why...
He could never forgive you.
Because in a world that was ever changing..Â
Day by day...
And always moving forward...Â
..How dare you stay the same.
Ah.. dammit!
Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!
It just wasn't fair..!
Just what the hell was wrong with you anyways?
He went to all that stupid trouble to close all those damn doors!Â
He boarded up every stupid window and stuffed everything shut as tightly as he could!Â
He gathered up all those loose emotions, tied them with a lock and a chain, and then threw them into the basement to never see the damn light of day again!
He even threw away the damn key to it all and yet...!
..And yet...
Somehow.. someway.. you still..
Weaseled your way right into his soul.
....
It just wasn't fair.
...He hated it.
..Or.. rather.. himself.
Because despite the fact that you were the one who did this, even after his multiple attempts to shove you away.... he could never say he actually hated you.
....
Maybe jokingly but..
No.. he could never actually hate you..
Despite how hard he tried.
You were just so damn.. persistent.
Not even in the annoying way! You were just..! Always there!
Really..
How dare you.. become someone that meant something to him!
How dare become a pillar of support for him to lean on!
How dare you open your arms to him, offering your gentle words and affirmations to him like he deserved them or something, and letting yourself become such a comfort that he actually sought you out now to help mend these pieces of his broken soul.
....
H-how dare you..
...Always be there for him.
Time and time again you were.. just..!Â
There!
You were always there!
Why were you always there!?
Christ, it's like you really had nothing better to do!
What, was he just your entertainment!?
A cute little show!?
Did you just want a front row seat to how much of a mess he really was because you were that bored!? Is that why you were always there!? Is that why you always picked up the phone when he called, no matter the starsdamned hour of the day? Is that why you were always there... no matter how far it was..? ..Rain or shine.. snow, hail or even when the damn wind was blowing nearly everything off its feet you were..
You were.. always..
....
There.
And that was just so damn unforgivable.
.....
There were times when he wished to himself.. that you had always been there.
...Way before.. he became like this.
Maybe he wouldn't have been such a mess if he had you in the first place but..
Life just wasn't fair, now was it?
He wanted to be angry about it still.
To blame you.
But he couldn't.
Really all he had to blame was himself.
He.. betrayed his own promise.
He had sworn to himself on that day that he'd never get attached.. and yet here he was.. more dependent upon you than he had been for anyone else in his life.
..Even to his own brother.. who had really seen him at some real bad lows.
But you..
You saw him at rock bottom.. and yet..
...You were still here...
.....
Really, you were by all accounts, an anomaly.Â
An outlier.Â
Someone who shouldn't be counted with the rest, because unlike the usual scum of this city.. you were...
Well you certainly weren't a ray of sunshine, that's for sure.
A little stoic and kinda stone faced, which probably worked to your benefit because people seemed to shy away from asking things of you, but..
You were.. different.
Despite the fact that you grew up here in Ebott, a vile city filled to the brim with criminals and thieves who ate people up for breakfast and then spat them out before lunch.. you.. were.. still you.
Calm.Â
Insightful.
...Caring..Â
..And... dependable.
....
...And how...
How was he not supposed to get attached to you?
..When you were always there for him..
Like now, as you held him steadily in your arms while he so desperately clung on to you as if you'd run away if he let you go. Of course a part of him was always scared you would because.. why wouldn't you?Â
What could someone like you possibly see in someone like him..?
Someone.. shallow and.. terrible with a whole novel's worth of issues.
Not at all good at comforting people.Â
Fickle and who practically ran at the first signs of trouble.
If he were you..
Well.. he would've given up on himself a long time ago.
..So.. why did you.. stay..?
.....
He was too scared to ask that question.
Too scared of the answer that may come from your lips, even though those words might just save him...
..Because he was absolutely certain that they'd actually just be the final nail that turns him to dust..
So he pushed the thought far from his mind to the back to die with the rest of his unnecessary feelings. Not that it was hard really, Sans' mind was a bloody fucking mess, clouded by a horrid mixture of alcohol and drugs that had him feeling on top of the world just a measly few hours ago.
Stars.. it really was easy to get lost in that madness wasn't it?
..Into the pleasure and fun that came at the end of a bottle, or at the end of another hit.Â
In a way.... it was just like magic.
In an instant, all those troubles that clouded your mind would seem so far away... Â
For a while you'd be unburdened by responsibility or society.Â
You'd let go of the constraints holding you back, you'd let loose and finally just be free.Â
Your mind would let go of it's troubling thoughts..
Of things... and...Â
..People...
......
You'd have fun without stress.Â
You'd lose yourself to the motions
To movements.Â
To the descent.
..To the fall.
Down.
Down.
Down.
Down the rabbit hole you'd go.
....
But with every fall.
Came a landing.
....
Right to the very bottom... and you'd suffer the consequences of your descent.
Now that once hypnotic neon that drew him into this club seemed sickening to his eyesockets, and the smell of smoke mixed with sweat and grease made him want to hurl. He didn't want to hear anymore words spoken by anyone else, much less those so called 'friends' who invited him here in the first place. Their words had long faded away to numbing static in the background now that the intense music was gone. He was sick of their empty flattery and jealous praises anyways, all trying to catch his attention so they could use him as a footstool to higher society. The only reason they invited him here was to get some damn clout for themselves and he was lonely enough to accept the offer because...
For once, you weren't there.
.....
Well you were technically there, because you always told him to call if he ever needed you, you just weren't like... there there!
..And he was feeling sad and...!
You weren't.. well-!
It's just-! He.. just-!
....
He didn't want to...
.....
Ugh.
It didn't matter.Â
He was just tired of it now. Tired of those damn pieces of trash..
They deserved to sit in the dumpster where they belong, but he was too fucked up to put them there so instead he just let it become background noise.
He wanted nothing more than to stay right here, in the only place he really felt at ease.
..With you.
So he turned his head away from it all and breathed in deep, a familiar scent washing away the muck that clung to the edges of his mind. It was fresh and a bit misty, like the scent of rain just before it fell with just a small hint of earthiness, and it brought him such a sense of..
..Comfort.
Just... like it always did.
Just like you always did, whenever you were around.
It made him clutch on to you all the tighter as he buried his head further into your shoulder, wanting to be lost in the mellow scents of your coat and the steady rhythmic beating of your heart as you spoke softly to someone else. Â
He was just..Â
Tired.
Tired of this, and tired of that.
Really he was tired of everything and just wanted to.. go..
"...home," he slurred, clearly interrupting your conversation with someone but not having the slightest care in the world.
His skull could hardly make sense of what was being said anyways, still washed up in the dizzying effects of alcohol and.. whatever else he took, but he really didn't care.
He wanted to go home.
That's why he had messaged you in the first place.
So you could come pick him up, yet again, and take him back home.
At least.. he hoped that's why you were here.
Who knows, maybe you'd finally come to your senses and would just dunk him in the trash can where he belonged.
"We're heading out in just a second, alright?" you said gently, your words cutting clear through his own thoughts.
.....
He barely turned his head to peek at you, catching the vague shape of your face through the fluorescent neon.
Funny.. how just your tone settled his troubled mind, almost making him feel silly for thinking you'd abandon him. Even if he didn't understand why in the slightest, you clearly cared for him. It came through in the way you spoke, and in the way you held on to him, like he was something precious and worth keeping.
...He just really didn't get it..
So he didn't think about it, instead just squeezing his eyesockets and letting out.. a noise in response.Â
..Really it was more like a painful, almost guttural groan, but he didn't want to acknowledge how unattractive it sounded, so a noise it was.Â
Thankfully it was enough.
"Just hang tight."
And then you spoke again, but not to him, so he let your voice fall to the side too, the gentle rumblings steadying him as he buried his face back to his usual spot.
For right here, in the small space between your neck and your shoulder was his own personal Wonderland. It was the same place his skull always went, whenever you two were close. The place he buried his face when he cried, or where he turned his head away to escape from it all. He loved to feel the pleasant heat of your skin against his cheek, and let those soft and subtle scents wash over him once more.
He really could just.. get lost in it.
He'd stay there forever, if you'd let him.
And that's exactly why he could never forgive you.
Because.. you did.
Time and time again you gave him that place all to himself, without question or complaint.
You let him come undone in so many ways in that small space, that house he had built for himself and boarded up.. no longer felt like home.
..And the feelings that he had locked away tight..
They were always so close to just.. coming out.
They threatened to spill from his mouth and dirty your jacket with their sullied words.
His admiration.
His respect.
His... love... for you..Â
..And all that you've done.
They danced tantalizingly on the end of his tongue, sometimes escaping in the friendly âI love youâs you both shared, or passed through his fingertips when your hands gently brushed, sending shocks to his soul. They seeped into almost every action and he..
Well..
A part of him felt like he was going to just go crazy over it..!
Or maybe.. he always had...
But for every moment he stayed in your presence it lingered..
And it swished and swirled... bubbling at the surface and just threatening to...
Break.. loose..!Â
"You doing okay?"
No.
No, he really wasn't doing okay.
Really he wasn't.
The words.. they were...
Slipping...
No...
He was...!
..Going to..!
"....i think i'm going to throw up."
"...Ah."
......
He probably would've been angrier if that wasn't the truth.
The excess magic bubbling in his soul was threatening to rush out thanks to the alcohol, and he certainly didn't want that spilling out of his ribcage so the only other option was out from where it came.
"Can you hold it?"
Ya know, normally that kind of question might've been seen as insensitive given the circumstance, but you very well knew Sans hated throwing up in public areas because it was... well kinda gross.
"..yeah.."
"Then let's go home."
And that was it.Â
You looked back to whomever you were speaking to and said your goodbyes before turning and heading out of the club with him in your arms while he tried to cling to you like a koala.
The awful neon was fading away along with the horrid smells, leaving him in just the gentle presence of you..
At least until you opened the door to the outside world the city lights and smells hit him like a fucking truck. He cringed, for even in the late hour the lights were in full shine and cars honked aggressively at each other in the streets. It was overwhelming and only made him retreat farther into arms, trying to escape from it.
Oh great, here comes the nausea again.
He groaned and you thankfully put a bit more pep in your step as you headed into the musky night air, finally reaching your car after what felt like a small eternity.
He had felt the keys already in your hand when you picked him up, and now you carefully tried to unlock the car door while maintaining your hold. It was surely a fairly easy task, considering the two of you had been in this exact position so many times before, and it wasn't long before you opened the door and tried to place him into the passenger seat.
"...You know you gotta let go so we can go home."
".....no."
He could feel your breathy laugh brush past his skull and neck, nearly making him tremble, but he still held on tight.
Sans just didn't want to let you go.
"..Please?"
.........
He.. reluctantly released his grasp, slowly sliding into the seat as he already began missing your warmth. His eyes automatically slipped shut, feeling more relaxed in the familiar space of your car. The passenger side seat was still just how he left it, tilted back just enough so he could nap comfortably.
"Just a sec."
"...mmmhh."
At least it was a more attractive sound this time.
Then he waited.. for what felt like another small eternity, almost tempted to brave the bright world to look at you before he was joined by a pleasant warmth, and the soft scents of rain and earth.
You laid your jacket on him, and he quickly hugged on to it while you busied yourself with buckling him in. Another easy task, as he heard the click of the seatbelt in place, and felt your presence leave him once more. He barely cracking his eyesockets open to catch your gaze, and for the briefest of moments he was greeted by your smile
"Was it fun?"
"...no.."
You let out a snort, shaking your head at his bluntness before standing up closing the door.
One last small eternity later and you opened up the driver side door, seating yourself before buckling yourself in.
"If I remember correctly you didn't have fun the last time you went out with her either, so why go?" you asked, turning the key and starting your car.
There was no judgement in your tone, more like a genuine curiosity. Surely it must've seemed dumb to keep torturing yourself in the presence of people you didn't like.. but..
"i'unno..." he muttered.
He was lonely.
"..jus didn' have anythin' else...since you were gone.."
There was a small pause as he watched your brows furrow, but you kept your gaze ahead as you pulled out of the parking lot and into the busy streets of Ebott.
"Well I did invite you," you reminded him and he let a small huff.
"i didn' wanna... intrude.. on your.. family... whatever."
"You know my mom wouldn't mind."
"...i know.."
Urgh.
Darn that woman for being almost as equally likeable as you were.
Really.. at first he could hardly believe the two of you were related with how bright and cheerful your mother was compared to your rather indifferent demeanor, but you both had that same tenderness that shone through in the way you cared for people.
...She always made him feel so welcome anytime he came around.
Like family..
....
And yet...Â
He didn't want to sully such a happy image with someone like himself.
So instead of joining you for an evening of board games and home cooked meals with your mom, he filled his meaningless life with people who were just as meaningless. He stuffed that empty skull of his with hollow praises, and anything that'd take these vile feelings away.
He didn't deserve this.
He didn't deserve.. you.
He deserved to be used up.
Thrown out.
And forgotten.
..Just like the rest of the people like him..
So... why did you refuse to let him go?
....
Once again he was too scared to ask.
Too scared of the answer he might receive, even if there was a possibility that it could save him. He just wanted to keep holding onto this. On to you, in hopes that you'd still just always be there for him.
Just like.. you always were.
....
He let out another huff, feeling those words threatening to spill forth again as he clutched on to your jacket. His hand wandered over to the same place it always did when he felt like shit but couldn't say it, to the middle console where it waited patiently.
His patience was rewarded, one small eternity later, when he felt your hand gently settle over his.
There was nothing more he could do to keep the words from spilling forth.
"i love you..."
And he meant it, with every fiber of his soul.
"I love you too Sans."
..Not in the same way, he knew, but...
This was still just enough.
Enough to keep him here.
Enough to keep him going, with the hope that maybe some day.. you would really love him too, in the same ways that he loved you.

what billy doesnât know wonât hurt him | r.t.
when things get heated between bill and richie, richie takes it a step further. now things are heated between bill, richie, and billâs girlfriend.

It was no surprise that Bill would be the first of the Losers to get a girlfriend and Richie knew this. Whatâs not to like about Big Bill? He had a certain leadership quality and charisma to him that no girl could resist. His stark auburn hair and tall figure probably didnât help either.Â
Richie first met Billâs new belle at the arcade. The Losers made plans to meet each other there one Friday night in celebration for their exam week ending.Â
âGuh-guys, Iâm br-bringing my guh-guhââÂ
âGuacamole? Thatâs cool and all, Billiam, but Iâm sure you can just get some there.â Richie erupted into a fit of laughter because that was the thing about Richie; he always laughed at his own jokes whether they were funny or not.Â
Billâs backhand flew to the underside of Richieâs chin and Eddie cringed at the jarring sound of skin on skin. Bill grew tired of Richieâs incessant interruptions. His friend never seemed to let him finish a thought.Â
âNo.â He let out an annoyed sigh, hoping it would come across as an indication for Richie to maybe, for once in his life, get his head out of his ass. âMm-my girlfr-friend.â Once he finished his sentence, he made sure to shoot Richie a smirk. It looked the same as his smirk he wore when he finished beating him at chess or when one of the other Losersâ got in the last word instead of him. This time Bill got in the last word.Â
âThatâs good for you, Bill!â Bev piped up. âWe need another girl around here.â She looked to the room of all boys in slight disgust. âNot that you guys arenât great ââÂ
âWell... Now youâll have someone to have âgirl talkâ with.â Ben looked around to Bill, Richie, Stan, and Eddie. All except Richie nodded in agreement.Â
âTough crowd. You can count me in on the girl talks, though.â Beverly slapped the suggestive look right off Richieâs face which he yelped at.Â
âRichie, youâve been slapped so many times, you should be numb to the feeling by now.â Stan shook his head as a disappointed mother would, but his smile said differently.Â
Their conversation continued; ranging from what grades they received on their finals and what time they would meet up.Â
They decided on six.Â
But Bill was late. Bill was never late.Â
âWhereâs Bill?â
The Losers were squeezed together in one of the booths the lounge area of the arcade had to offer. Beverly and Benâs shoulders pressed together while they sucked down the same strawberry milkshake. Mike sat beside the couple, because neither Stan nor Eddie would, while picking through the fries to find the crispy ones.
Eddie, Stan, and Richie sat on the other side. Stan kept complaining to Mike about how he âshouldnât touch every one of the friesâ and that he was âhogging all the good ones.â Eddie, on the other hand, ran his mouth about the multiple diseases Ben and Beverly could catch from sharing their food (or anything for that matter). Â
âProbably getting one-off in the bathroom withââ
âBeep Beep, R-Richie!â It was the man of the hour. Bill silenced his friend to which the rest of the group was thankful for. Even though Richieâs anecdotes could be entertaining, they did not want to hear about their friendâs sex life: made up or not.Â
âHey, Big Bill!â Richie turned a ninety in his seat to see the look on his friendâs face, but he didnât expect to be met with the scene of Bill and his arm wrapped around some girl. A hot one at that.Â
Bill kissed her temple before directing his attention to the group. âEveryone, th-th-this isââ
âIâm y/n.â
âMmm-my guh-girlfriend.â Bill said this almost too proudly.
âI didnât know Billiam was actually capable of getting some.â Richie fell into a fit of laughter and held up his hand for a round of high fives he was expecting. But instead of a slap on the back and a âgood one, Richâ, Richie was given a variety of bored and âare-you-seriousâ looks.
âAnyway,â Stan broke the silence. ây/n, you wanna pull up a chair? Sorry, we didnât get a table big enoughâŠâ
âItâs ff-ine,â Bill said as he was climbing into the booth next to Richie. âThereâs room.â He gave y/n a suggestive look, raising his eyebrows and the corners of his mouth upturned slightly. His girlfriend ducked her head; embarrassed in front of Billâs friends she had never met before. She could feel her cheeks heating up and the groupâs stare on her when she went to sit on Billâs lap.
To that, Richie whistled and said, âWhatâs next, are you gonna make her give you a lap dance?â Anger took over Billâs body. His muscles tensed under his skin and it became harder to conceal his scowl. âDonât worry, doll.â Richie started whispering into y/nâs ear. âIf Bill gets hard you wonâtâyou wonât notice since heâs ââ
Richie couldnât finish his sentence. Partly because his laughing prevented him from doing so. Bill had also jabbed him in the shoulder causing Richie to pull away from the couple.
âGee, Bill, I didnât know you couldââÂ
âRichie, thatâs enough!â Bill, no longer able to keep his composed expression, raised his voice.Â
All the Losers watched intently. Bill never raised his voice, so to say that this was a rare occasion was just as much of an understatement as saying, âStan liked birds.â
âLuh-look, Richie, I th-th-hink youâre a funny guy. A li-little too vulgar fo-or my taste, but yo-you make the room laugh. But luh-late-ly youâve been making a lot of juh-jokes regarding muh-meââ
âOr what you donât have.âÂ
âTh-this is what Iâm ta-talking ab-out.â Bill watched his friend sternly, waiting for an apology. Even the smallest sorry would be good enough for him.Â
Richie stayed silent.Â
âYou⊠you know, it-itâs funny that you muh-make all th-these jokes ab-about mm-me when youâve nev-her had a girlfr-hend. God, Richie, cuh-can you even guh-get a girl to⊠to like yo-you back?â He recalled all the times Richie had been rejected. How Richie must be the least desirable kid in school with his track record of turn downs.Â
Stillness filled the air. Aside from Billâs lengthy speech, none of the Losers had said anything for the past five minutes. What was there to say? Even Richie was left speechless.Â
âWeâll b-be guh-going now.â y/n slid off Billâs lap. She waited passively for him as he got up from his seat. Bill wasted no time for goodbyes. He walked out of the door with a swagger that none of the Losers had seen on him before. But y/n stayed behind, awkwardly shifting her weight from one foot to the other.Â
âIt was nice meeting you allâŠâ Her attempt to ease the uneasiness between them was admirable. âI hope we can do this again sometime, yeah?â She was a sweet girl. The words that left her mouth were... genuine, not just being said because of the unexpected outburst at the table.Â
She parted from the group shortly after, not wanting to keep Bill waiting long. Richieâs eyes were glued to y/nâs backside while she pranced towards the door. The way her hips swayed were captivating and even though her dress was loose it was just short enough toâÂ
âRichie, youâre staring.âÂ
âAm I?â Richie averted his eyes away from Billâs girlfriend, now finding the voice whoâd scolded him.Â
âYes, and itâs disgusting,â Stan scoffed. He shot Richie a glare but not his usual glare. Stan was actually disgusted. His eyes were squinted slightly, and Richie could tell his brain was trying to figure out what was going on in Richieâs own.Â
âOkay, everyone agrees with me that y/n is way too hot for Bill, right?â Richie asked the group. A little gossip never hurt anyone right?
But the responses were lackluster.Â
âI think Bill and y/n look cute together!â Beverly was the first one to defend Bill. Ben nodded after her because letâs be honest, that boy agreed with everything she said just to keep himself on her radar.Â
âI donât feel comfortable talking about this behind Billâs back.â Mike was next and he wore an uncomfortable look on his face. Multiple Losers (everyone except for Richie) had agreed with him on that one.
ây/n seems niceââÂ
âExactly!â Richie could almost jump out of his seat as he cut Eddie off. âBill doesnât deserve her!âÂ
âI think someoneâs jealous.â Richie snapped his head to look at Stan who wasnât doing the same. He was too busy wiping off the condensation from his drink glass.Â
âWhy would you say that?â Richieâs eyebrow rose at the accusation and there became a burning need for an answer that grew inside him. The rest of the Losers had also become intrigued.Â
âFirst of all, you think sheâs hotââÂ
âRichie thinks anything with legs is hot,â Eddie said, and everyone forgot what the conversation was about for a moment as they took a minute to laugh at his remark.Â
âRichie, why donât you think y/nâs good enough for Bill?â Stan asked.Â
There was no response while Ben, Beverly, Eddie, Mike, and Stan had their eyes on him. Although Richie usually handled himself well under pressure and in social situations, he felt a bad concoction of the coke he had just downed and the fries he was snacking on creeping their way back up his throat for a second taste.Â
âHey, Stanny, I didnât ask for ya to go all Freud on me.â Richie chuckled; trying to brush off the funny feeling in his stomach.Â
Richie felt a sort of relief wash over him when he was let off the hook. Ben and Beverly were playing a game of tic tac toe on a napkin and Mike, Stan, and Eddie found themselves in a three-way debate: Jurassic Park versus Jaws. Eddie was offering The Wizard of Oz to the table since his mom hadnât let him watch either yet, but Stan and Mike wouldnât budge.Â
But it didnât help that Richieâs thoughts drifted back to Billâs words earlier that night. God, Richie, cuh-can you even guh-get a girl to⊠to like yo-you back? Could he? A swarm of unwanted memories infiltrated his mind. Cierra from math class who had laughed in his face after he said, âAre you a forty-five angle? Because youâre a-cute-y.â Or when he asked out Elle, his longtime crush, to homecoming only to be told she had a boyfriend. The list goes on.Â
Those words apparently had such an impact on Richie because they followed him to the weekend which was spent laying on his bed as Billâs voice echoed through Richieâs brain over and over again.Â
You⊠you know, it-itâs funny that you muh-make all th-these jokes ab-about mm-me when youâve nev-her had a girlfr-hend.
âNever had a girlfriend, huh?â Richie thought aloud to himself in the safety of his own room. Just like a lightbulb would, Richieâs eyes lit up as an idea took place in his head. It was totally selfish, evil, and went heavily against the âbro codeâ. But who would Richie be to not go through one of his plans?
The bell signaling dismissal had just rung when Richie finalized his plan.Â
Meet y/n at her locker.Â
Drive her home from school.Â
Show her what sheâs missing.Â
Serve Bill some sweet, sweet revenge.Â
Richie was the first one out the doorâas always. But instead of his usual pace which solely relied on his long legs to carry him, he dashed for the hallwayâlike a prisoner making a break for it.Â
After peering through the sea of people long and hard, he spotted the same silky hair and small figure heâd seen the other night at the arcade.Â
âHey, beautiful.â Richie propped himself against the row of lockers attached to y/nâs.Â
âI have a name.â And if it werenât for the smile on her lips, Richie wouldâve thought she was actually annoyed at him.Â
âYou got a ride tonight?â
She shook her head while closing the door to her locker. âYeah, actually.â y/n swung her backpack strap over her arm. âMy boyfriendâs taking me home.â She felt the blood rush to her cheeks, and she wouldnât be surprised if her face turned a bright shade of red in front of this boy.Â
âThatâs a shame.â A disappointed clicking sound left his mouth. âI got a seat next to me in my car thatâs calling your name.â
âMaybe tomorrow?â y/n offered. Her tone sounded just as angelic as it did the other night.Â
âIâll hold you to that.â Richie left y/n with a wink and nothing more.Â
Richie, did in fact, hold y/n to that. And to Richieâs surprise, y/n did keep her word. The next day followed like the last. His shoulder slanted against the metal doors while he watched the girl pack her stuff. Even her smallest actions were mesmerizing.Â
âYou know, doll, Iâm surprised you took me up on this offer.â
âOh, really?â y/nâs eyebrow raised slightly, almost as if she were challenging him.
âKind of.â Richie forced himself to chuckle. He turned so that his back was now held up by the lockers. âWonât your boyfriend be mad?â He was now rethinking his plan. This awful plan of his that would most likely be the end of his and Billâs-
âNah.â The sound of metal slamming startled Richie and he was now standing upright. âBesides, what Billy doesnât know wonât hurt him.â She threw a suggestive wink in his direction. Did Billy know his girlfriend was a cheater?
âJeepers, babe. Donât tell me youâre only kidding.â A quizzical look sprawled itself across Richieâs face and his eyes searched hers as if he were looking for something.
A giggle so saccharine it was probably drenched in maple syrup beforehand left the girlâs glossy lips. âIâm joking.â She shoved Richie with her elbow as they walked side by side. âBill doesnât know.â Her voice lowered, âbut youâre his friend so itâs not like that matters, right?â
âYou betchaâ.â Richie had to swallow down one of his stupid remarks just to make himself sound convincing. He looked down, once theyâd got to his car, and tried the handle only to be met with the fact it wouldnât budge. A string of curses fell off his dirty mouth and he could hear a series of muffled laughs coming from the other side. âHa. Ha. Laugh all you want, hot stuff, Iâm here all week.â It took Richie long enough to realize that his car was locked. Â
Begrudgingly, he fished the keys from his pockets and finally got the door open.
âYouâre a great chauffeur.â y/n rolled her eyes while buckling her seatbelt. âHot!â She seethed, cradling her left hand that touched the hot metal from the buckle with her right.
âAw. You need someone to kiss it better?â Richie cooed, delicately taking her hand in his.
âIâm good.â If y/n were any other girl Richie swore she wouldâve flicked his head and called him an idiot. Instead, she coyly retracted her hand and looked out the windowâactively facing away towards him.
A few seconds of quietness passed between them before y/n decided to break it. âSo, tell me, Rich.â Richie had to keep himself from taking his eyes off the road. âWhyâd you offer to drive me home?â
âIs chivalry so dead I canât drive a gal home?â Â
âI meanâŠâ She took a moment to stare at the carâs ceiling so she could find the right words. âBillâs your best friend.â
âDonât pretend what happened on Friday, like, didnât fuckinâ happen.â Richie was being sarcastic, of course.
âI know he said some harsh words butââ
âHey.â His voice calmed. âIf Bill and I are best friends, then he shouldnât have a problem with this. Right?â Richie looked over at y/n to see if sheâd agree with him. âRight?â
âOkay,â she gave in. She shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes, but it was enough confirmation for him.
âSo, whatâs the story between you and Big Bill?â Richie drummed on the steering wheel while y/n mulled over an answer.
y/n felt herself shy away at the question and as she recalled the events of Bill asking her out.
They first met in chemistry. Somehow, y/n had managed to let the dean switch her schedule so late in the year since Henry Bowers had accidentally spilled an aluminum chloride mix on her brand-new jeans.
âIâll be deciding your lab partners today. Ever since last time I donât think I can trust you guys to pick your own partners anymore.â Mr. Davis looked tired and y/n couldnât blame him. In her head, she kept track of everyone who got paired together. Once heâd gotten to Gretta Keene, she soundlessly thanked god that she had been paired with Stacy. ây/n y/l/n and Bill Denbrough.â
y/n almost missed the bored voice as she was too lost in her thoughts. Â
Bill Denbrough?
Her eyes curiously darted around the room, searching for the sea of students in the desks surrounding her.
A pair of bright blue eyes finally caught hers. A pair of bright blue eyes that had to belong to Bill Denbrough.
âYou-youâre y/n, rih-right?â Bill was now standing in front of her. She didnât realize when he got up from his seat.
âYeah.â y/n stood up to reach his eye, but she still stood noticeably shorter than him.
Billâs once apprehensive demeanor visibly morphed into an expression filled with calmness and relief. Aside from his friends, she was the only other person who wasnât impatient with his stutter. He felt he could immediately be vulnerable with herânot that he would be. But if this chemistry lab were the only time he would find himself interacting with this girl, Bill would seriously beat himself up for it.
The rest of their story was, essentially, history.
y/n liked having Bill as a lab partner. He was smart. He did his share, unlike her past partners who would pass notes to pass the period while y/n slaved away on the project by herself. He also didnât hold any of the chemicals they were working with dangerously close to her, pretending as if he were going to spill them on her and then actually spill them on her. Â
It was on a Thursday morning when Bill met y/n on her way into school. Even though his watch showed seven-thirty am, the moon was still out and the only light in the sky was from the lampposts cemented into the sidewalk.
âH-hey, y/n!â It was odd to be as enthusiastic as he was this early, but y/n brushed it offâit must be post-coffee jitters and the effect was still wearing away.
âHello.â Her voice still had a tiredness to it from when you first wake up in the morning.
âI was⊠I was won-wondering ih-if you wuh-wouldâŠâ
âYes?â y/n prompted. She glanced at him, making eye contact, which only worsened Billâs nervousness.
âWould⊠would yo-you want to go ou-out wih-with me?â
Waiting for an answer felt like forever.
âI thought youâd never ask!â y/n beamed, and all signs of grogginess seemed to leave her body.
From then on, Bill and y/n went on dates. They were casual for the most part. y/n never felt the need to dress up and Bill never felt the need to buy her flowers. The only thing he did end up getting her was a stuffed bear which was twice her size.
The carnival would only be in town for a few days and y/n practically begged Bill to goânot that he needed much convincing. You could count him in as long as she was there.
Bill didnât normally bother with carnival gamesâhe knew they were rigged. But maybe it was the way the carnie teen running the booth talked to y/n that night. Or maybe it was the way y/n stared adoringly for the stuffed animal hanging from the plastic tent. In either scenario, Bill still spent twenty-five bucks and wasted an hour in the frigid air to eventually hook the ring over the milk bottle and win y/n that stupid bear.
âI think Iâll call it Bill,â she whispered as she squeezed the plush doll close to her chest.
âI-itâs the luh-least you cuh-can do.â Bill wrapped his arm around her even though he was the cold one.
âWuh-wuh-weâre here,â Richie said. His voice masked with Billâs stutter pulled y/n out of her dream-like state.
âThatâs not nice, Rich.â But y/n couldnât help to let out the smallest of laughs. She unbuckled her seatbelt only to find it wasnât her house he drove her to once she opened her side of the door. âThis isnât my house.â
âOh⊠it isnât?â Richie never missed a beat; making sure to put on his âIâm-a-big-stupid-headâ act that his teachers never bought. It was worth a try.
âTake me home.â y/n crossed her arms and kept herself planted in the passenger seat of Richieâs car, which was just Wentworthâs old one that heâd given to his son once he splurged on a new one.
âShit, toots. I thought youâd wanna stay a while. Have some fun.â Richie wiggled his eyebrows and wore a clownâs grin. How could she say no to him?
âWe can have fun another time.â Like that apparently. âI really do need to get home, though.â
Richieâs been rejected loads of times before and heâs resented every one of them. He couldnât resent y/n thoughâwith her puppy dog eyes and the way she had him like a worm on a hook. She was something else.
âAlright.â Richie gave in. He keyed the ignition and started for the road again. His arm slung around y/nâs seat as he backed up and y/n couldnât help but feel fuzzy at the small action. âSo, youâre tellinâ me Big Bill never got you flowers?â Richieâs eyes never left the road no matter how much he wanted to stop the car and pin y/n down right then and there.
âNope,â y/n said, popping the âpâ sound. âBut I donât mind.â
y/n minded.
Richie could tell she minded when he greeted her at her locker with a bouquet of daisies. He was sure if y/n didnât already have a boyfriend she wouldâve jumped him right then and there.
Oh right. Boyfriend.
âAre these for me?â y/n gasped, in awe at the dinky looking bouquet. It was just ten flowers held together with the same twine youâd use to tie a package with, but it was ten flowers sheâd cherish.
âWho else would they be for, sugar?â Richie scoffed and handed off his homemade bouquet to the most stunning girl heâd laid eyes on.
y/n gave him a sly look and shoved him in the arm.
âAre you ready to go?â
âReady to go where?â A look of confusion was drawn on her face and Richie couldnât tell if she was joking or not.
âIâm takinâ you home again, arenât I?â But Richie was disappointed when y/n just chuckled in response instead of interlocking hands with his and skipping off into the sunset with him.
âI didnât know you changed your name to Bill.â y/n brought the daises up to her nose. They didnât have a scent, but her eyes fluttered at the petals tickling her nose and her stomach did backflips.
âBill-Billâs taking you?â His expression faltered and he had to swallow to keep his cool.
âI donât know who else would,â y/n said this as if she just forgot what happened yesterday.
âIâll be going then.â Richie pointed to behind him with his thumbs and looked back. He took one last look at y/n until he noticed a Bill Denbrough coming into view: a sign he really needed to leave.
His head hung low and his back hunched forward as he walked out the doorway. It was useless. y/n was utterly in love with his best friend while he wasâwas he in love with y/n?
No.
Richie Tozier does not love unless itâs his mom and rock nâ roll vinyls.
And y/n did not love Richie Tozier.
Richie felt himself mope all the way home at the thought of him being unlovable. Hell, he moped all the way to the weekend.
After his last encounter with y/n, Richie couldnât bear to face her again. Embarrassment filled his chest every time Bill mentioned her at lunch, and he felt like shoving himself in a locker any time he spotted her in the halls.
That was until seeing her became unavoidable. Â
At first it was at the quarry.
Stan had already arranged for the group to meet up over the weekend and of course none of the Losers would pass up an opportunity to hang out with each other.
What Richie didnât know was that Bill would be bringing his girlfriend. It seemed heâd be doing that a lot from now on.
âIs bringing y/n gonna be, like, a regular thing?â Eddie whispered in Billâs ear.
Bill laughed awkwardly, unsure if he should reconsider taking y/n to the next hangouts heâd already planned to. âWuh-when yo-you start dating, yo-youâll under-sta-hand.â Bill then gave Eddie a pat on the back and walked off, looking for a rock he could leave his clothes on before he started for the water.
âYeah, Eddie.â Stan laughed from behind Bill. âWait until youâre older. Then, maybe, youâll understand.â
Richie, on the other hand, was watching his friends from afar. He became uncharacteristically quiet as soon as y/n and Bill showed up. Only until Bev called that the last one in would be a rotten egg was when he finally shed himself of his clothes and raced the others to the water.
âGuess youâre the rotten egg, Eds!â Richie swam over to Eddie, splashing him in the face while doing so. Anything that would distract him from y/n would do. Even if it was a stupid conversation like this to pass the time.
âI told you to not call me that,â Eddie said crossly. âAnd if youâre going to splash like that, aim anywhere else but my face because who knows whatâs been in this waterââ
âYeah, yeah. Cute story, Eds.â But Richie didnât care for yet another lecture of Eddieâs. His eyes began to wonder. He was looking for y/n and good grief he had to stop himself before he was in too deep.
But it was a little late for that.
âAre you even listening to me?â Eddie swatted at Richieâs arm just like the times Richie had done to him.
âNo,â Richie admitted.
Luckily, the contact between him and y/n had been limited. The only time he had to talk to her was when he was about to part from the group and say his goodbyes.
âLooks like I gotta blast, guys.â Richie looked down to the wristwatch Stan was wearing and Stan sneered at his friend for standing so close to him.
âBye!â y/n was the last to call out, but her voice was the most prominent of the groupâs.
The next two times the group met up, y/n included, Richie had also been able to get by with the least interactions as possible between her and him.
It was only until one lowly Sunday night when Bill and y/n had gotten into a fight when avoidance had become impossible for Richie.
âI canât believe you would say that about me!â y/n had somehow accomplished being louder than the music blasting from the jukebox sitting in the back of the arcade and the sound of machines running combined. âI thought you were better than that, Bill.â
âI-I donât guh-guh-get wuh-why youâre s-so off-f-hended.â Bill maintained a calm composure which only bothered y/n more.
âI think itâs the fact that you think Iâm a prude that offends me so much.â y/n scoffed. Her arms were crossed, and she wore a stare that could kill.
âYo-you know⊠i-if you-youâre so mm-mad I donât underst-stand why you cuh-came.â The anger bubbling inside y/n started to radiate onto Bill.
âBecause we have to talk about it!â She grabbed onto Billâs arm when he tried to walk off.
âCanât wuh-we juh-juh-just talk about th-this later?â Bill said in a growl. But later for him meant never.
The beginnings of what felt like tears started to form in y/nâs eyes. She let go of Billâs arm and took a deep breath. âOkay,â she whispered, âwe can talk later.â
Richie watched his best friend and girlfriend argue for what seemed like forever but was only about five minutes. Heâd witnessed arguments before but none of them ended like this. When the couples at school argued they would usually make out right after. But this was different. y/n was hurt, and Bill was beyond annoyed.
âHey.â Richie walked up to y/n as soon as Bill joined Stan and Mike for skee ball. âWhat wasâŠâ He traced his fingers against the brail of one of the arcade machines, doing everything he could do evade eye contact. âWhat was that about?â
âWill you take me home if I tell you?â A stray tear made its way down y/nâs hot cheek.
âSure thing, babe.â Richie offered his hand for y/n to take. She did; her fingers intertwined with his and the pad of her thumb ran along the rough skin of the back of his hand.
When the two got to his car, Richie opened the door for y/n (as a gentleman should). This was followed up by a thank you and a shy smile.
âSo, Iâll listen while you just sit back, enjoy the drive, and pour your goddamn heart out to me.â Richie started to turned his keys into the ignition. âSound good, sweetheart?â
y/nâs heart jumped a beat and she could feel herself grow near feverish. She fiddled with her thumbs and swallowed her spit, hoping sheâd find the courage to soon speak.
âIt started last night,â her meek voice spoke up. y/nâs eyes were glued to Richieâs dashboard. It was covered in dust. âI was at Billâs house and it was getting late.â
Bill craned his neck so he could find the time on his alarm clock that sat on his nightstand. He couldâve just asked y/n to check, but she seemed so at peace. He didnât want to disturb her.
âItâs nine,â he said. His lips touched the shell of her ear, making y/n shiver.
âShould I go home?â y/n asked. She perked up and rubbed her eyes. Sheâd been dozing off, but even in a tired state, Bill found her perfect.
âNah.â Bill tightened his already tight embrace on her. âI-I can tth-hink of some-something we can d-do.â He ducked his head so he could brush his lips against the sensitive skin on her neck.
y/n winced at his touch. Yet she still turned within his hold and pressed a kiss to his lips. âAre you suggesting what I think youâre suggesting?â Her voice hushed and fragile.
âYuh-yeah,â Bill said shamelessly. He cradled her head in his palm. His blue eyes bore into hers. The same blue eyes that had found her when their chemistry teacher paired them together. âCâm-mmon.â
âBill, IâŠâ y/nâs eyes danced across his features. His beautiful features sheâd grown infatuated with from the moment they met. âWeâve gone over this, I thought.â Any sort of confidence she had was now lost.
Bill took a moment to study the girl in front of him. He loosened his hold around her and sat up, propping himself against his headboard. âI f-feel like we⊠like Iâve juh-just been wuh-wuh-waiting.â
y/n copied her boyfriendâs movements, making sure to not break their gaze as she adjusted herself. âAnd I respect that,â she said softly.
âYeah b-but yo-youâre muh-my girlfriend.â He took her hand in his. âI wuh-wanna do guh-girlfriend and b-boyfr-hend things.â
âI thought we did do âgirlfriend and boyfriend things.ââ y/nâs left eyebrow started to raise.
âTh-thereâs only s-s-so muh-many times a guh-guy can get himself o-off.â Bill immediately regretted the words that had just walked right out of his mouth and presented themselves to his girlfriend.
âBillâŠâ But thatâs all y/n could seem to say. She sat there, confused. Bill would never say something like that. But he just did. The Bill y/n knew was kind, thoughtful, and patient. This wasnât the Bill she knew.
âDo-do you tr-trust me?â Concern struck Billâs face.
y/n was conflicted. âTrust doesnât equal sex, Bill.â She drew her hand away from his and started mindlessly picking at the skin on her thumb. She got up from the bed and made her way to the door. Bill couldnât quite read her expression as she did, but just her getting up was enough for him to tell she didnât want to be around him.
âIâll pick you up tomorrow?â
y/n nodded before walking out.
But tomorrow was just as bad, or even worse, than that night.
y/n had spent the whole night ruminating over what Bill had said, and once he had arrived at her house, she was livid.
âWhat did you mean? Last night?â y/n began the car ride with a debriefing.
âI-it was s-stu-stupid, r-really,â Bill said nonchalantly.
âNo.â y/n was relentless. âWhat did you mean?â
âI wuh-was ho-horny, y/n/n. B-but, god. It wuh-wouldnât kuh-kill you t-to not be a pr-prude ff-or once i-in your luh-life.â y/n couldnât believe what bullshit her boyfriend was spouting at her.
âOur fight continued until we got to the arcade,â y/n said, still sobbing from her previous encounter with Bill.
Richie was at a loss for words. All he could do was keep his eyes on the road and drive the two to their destination, which didnât take long. Either y/nâs house was closer than he thought or just her company made ten minutes feel like three.
âStop here,â y/n informed.
Richie slowed to a stop in front of a two-story house that looked like the others it was built next to. There was a bench swing that hung from the patio roof and a family of potted plants that resided in one corner of the porch. The houseâs paint was dull and lifeless, resembling the rest of Derry.
âThanks for taking me home.â y/n spoke again, drawing Richie from his thoughts of wondering what her room looked like.
âYe-yeah. No problem-o.â He took in a deep breath and tapped his foot against the floor of his car.
y/n leaned over, as much as her seatbelt let her, and felt her lips graze his cheek.
âWh-what are you doing?â Richie was quick to pull away. He stared at y/n with his big doe eyes and her glassy, soulful ones helped his case none. Isnât this what he wanted?
âReally, Rich.â y/n then made sure to take off the seatbelt which was restraining her from doing anything further and scooted closer to him, ignoring how uncomfortable the gear stick felt as it dug into her thigh. âYouâre sweet.â
âWell, I donât like to brag but I do pride myself on being-â y/n cut him off with a kiss to his lips this time. Richie sighed into her mouth. He knew it was wrong, but he just couldnât help it.
God, Richie, cuh-can you even guh-get a girl to⊠to like yo-you back? The words heâd clung onto ever since that one Friday night made their way back to his frontal lobe. It mustâve been a month, yet the sentence stuck.
And Richie kissed back.
He swore he heard the faint sounds of fireworks clapping in the distance as his lips pushed into hers. Her soft, pouty lips that sent tingles down his back every time they connected with his. Richieâs right arm coiled itself around the small of y/nâs back and he found his left hand stroking her cheek. And just as fast as y/n planted one on him, she sprung back.
âYou alright?â No, sheâs not alright, dumbass. She just got into her first fight with her boyfriend and sheâs coming to his best friend as a therapy session.
Much to Richieâs dismay, y/n nodded. âYour carâs uncomfortable.â Was all she said before opening the door to let herself out. Richie was about to curse himself out for letting her slip through his fingers and kissing his best friendâs girlfriend until he flinched at the sound of a knock on his car window.
It was y/n.
She opened the door for him like he had once done for her and waited for him to join her in the now moonlight. âDo you want to come in?â
âChrist.â Before then, Richie had never been so fast to take off a seatbelt.
The two hurried up the lawn and eventually her porch. Richieâs hand was squeezed by y/nâs smaller one. He reveled in the feeling of her holding onto him as if he were to float off if she didnât. The two stood outside her front door like a shy kid, hesitant to ring the doorbell because itâs their first time over.
âAre your parents home?â Richie questioned, trying to get a peek through the windows even though they were closed off by the curtain.
âI donât know,â y/n mumbled while she riffled through her mini purse. She was searching for the house key. âFinally!â She held up her key chain proudly before inserting the shiny, golden key striped with white nail polish into the lock. âStay.â She looked to Richie like he was a puppy in training school.
y/n walked in reluctantly. Her hands messed with the strap of her purse. âHello? Is anyone home?â She looked around the house for any sign of her parents. After a good few seconds, y/n turned to Richie with a slap happy grin on her face. âThe coast is clear!â
Richie strolled in, acting as if he had all the time in the world. He made sure to shut the door behind him and y/n grabbed him by the collar as soon as he finished locking it. âMy room is upstairs,â she said in between a needy kiss.
Richie didnât need to be told twice as he ran up the wooden stairs with her. She surprised him with her lips on his once they got to the top. Her tongue swiped his bottom lip to which Richie granted access. y/n grew hungry with lust as her tongue danced with his. The only reason she broke apart from him was to better guide him to her bedroom. Surely, they couldnât have sex in the hallway. Â
Richie was given no time to admire the yellow paint and magazine clippings that decorated y/nâs room. Instead, he was left to find y/nâs sweet spot and the lingering scent of her vanilla perfume as his lips roamed every crevice of her skin. He brought her down to her bed and he knows heâs never seen such beauty when her hair fans out against her sheets in every which way.
âRich.â His name only leaves her lips when his arenât on her. The same lips heâs tasted a thousand times already but would always be surprised at the taste the next time they collide. The same lips Billâs claimed.
But this was Richieâs turn.
y/nâs hands dared reached for his dark roots, eliciting a moan from Richie that was downright animalistic.
âGod, Rich. I didnât even do anything,â y/n said, playing the innocent card.
âWe can do something about that.â Richie offered. He licked the desperation from his lips as he waited for an answer.
âOkay.â y/n giggled and lifted her arms up. A sign for Richie to find the goddamn clue and undress her already.
Richie complied. He begged his excitable hands to stop shaking as he began to raise the fabric, revealing just how perfect y/n really was. Eagerly, his lips urged a kiss to hers once he got both their shirts off. It was quick and the start of his trail of kisses which lead down, down, down. Â His chapped lips tickled against the sensitive skin of her breast.
His mouth wrapped around the petal, causing y/n to squirm, entangling their legs together.
âDo you like that?â Richie teased. y/n moaned in response.
Taking the hint, Richie parted from her left nipple and began giving her right the same attention.
âRichââ y/n was cut off by her own sigh of pleasure. âDo something.â Her voice was breathy and not at all stable. Richie grinned. He could listen to the noises she made any day.
Reluctantly, he broke his contact with her so he could undo his jeans. The sound of denim hitting the floor made y/n groan and she pulled him close again. They laid skin to skin. Richie was so close, y/n could tell heâd been smoking earlier.
Her arms encapsulated him and if this were any other girl under any other circumstance, Richie wouldâve questioned it. But this was y/n.
He dipped down so he could connect his lips with hers and he could feel ten crescent shaped markings carving into the skin of his back. Â He didnât have to be told twice to give y/n what he knew she wanted.
Richie slowly peeled off y/nâs skirt, the gradual pace left her yearning for him even more. He slid his index and middle fingers in at the same speed he took off the skirt.
y/n threw her head back at the touch. Â The whines escaping from her mouth egged Richie on even more.
Faster, faster, faster.
His thumb swept against her clit in circular motions. His strokes against her sensitive nerves drawing y/n closer to the edge. Her hips jerked up to feel closer to his touch. Her want had Richie chuckling. No girl would give him the time of day before her. Richie wanted to bask in the feeling forever.
âDo something, Rich.â y/n gasped and attached her lips to his neck. âPlease.â Richieâs breath hitched in his throat at the request.
He hesitantly pulled his fingers from her heat, replacing them with him. Her folds slicked his length as she willingly let him stretch her walls.
âYouâre so hot,â Richie whispered into y/nâs ear. He cringed at the words once he heard himself. âYou feel so good.â The affirmations sent shivers down her spine. y/n fell into a state of bliss as his speed picked up. He hiked her legs up his waist and she ardently wrapped them around him.
His pace quickened. Richie felt like he was going to explode and the girl beneath him was close.
âRich, Rich, Rich.â His name rolled off her tongue wonderfully and he would give anything to hear it til the end of time. Another cry fell from her beautifully parted lips. âRich, Iâmââ
âI know, doll face.â He placed a gentle kiss to her forehead while he pulled out. He took his thumb from previously, rubbing the bundle of nerves until she matched his high.
He collapsed onto the covers next to her as soon as they both finished. A final grunt escaped his throat while doing so.
The two were spread across y/nâs bed in silence for a while. y/n stared aimlessly at the ceiling; Richie doing the same. It had just then occurred to Richie that he fucked his best friendâs girlfriend. Guilt took the form of a teenage boy as he looked over at y/n. He still couldnât help but think of how alluring she was. There was mascara smudged beneath her eyes. Sweat running down her brow bone. And her hair was a mess. He had more than enough energy to go at it again, but he knew better than that.
This was Richieâs cue to leave. He got up, throwing on his clothes. He didnât even care that his shirt was on inside out. He just needed to get out of there.
He was almost out the door until a voice stopped him in his tracks.
âRich.â The same voice heâd give anything to hear for eternity.
âYeah, baby?â Richie was about to curse himself out for calling her that if she hadnât replied so soon.
âI wonât tell if you wonât.â He couldâve creamed himself at the words. He couldâve ripped off his clothes again and taken her once more.
But Richie knew better than that.
He didnât even look back; only nodded and strolled out the door as if nothing happened. Because as far as Bill was concerned, nothing happened.

Temptations- Sam Fender Smut
Sam didn't like to brag but he always lived showing you off. Whether you were dressed to the nines for a fancy outing, or chilling in a baggy hoody for your daily shop, Sam loved making people aware you were his.
It was Saturday night, and you and a group of friends (including Sam) had decided to go out for much needed drinks. You were looking forward to it all week, planning out outfits with your best friend and talking about how much of a laugh it was going to be. Then, the long-awaited night came. You dolled yourself up, sporting a little red number. You were just applying some perfume when you heard a wolf whistle sound from the doorway. Sam stood, leaning against the door with his arms crossed, a smug grin played across his face as his eyes roamed your body. "Someones looking rather sexy tonight." you bowed jokingly. "As always", you retorted. He pushed off of the door-frame, smirk still in place, and walked towards you. He too, looked rather sexy. His hair perfectly messy and the scent of his cologne lingered in the air. He embraced you tightly, seemingly innocent until his hands roamed down to your ass. You wanted him right there. His touch. His scent. The feel of his toned chest right under your palms. All of it was too much, and if it wasn't for the fact that the two of you were already late, you would've wasted no time at all to slip back out of your dress and under the sheets. Sam knew the feeling, which was evident by the hardness prodding into you. You internally moaned, controlling yourself just this once. You teasingly brushed over the bulge, eliciting a groan from Sam, and reached up to whisper in his ear. "Later", was all you said, before turning away, grabbing your coat, and strutting out the door, Sam closely following behind, almost in awe. When you got to the bar, your friends greeted the two of you with hugs and smiles. The cab ride had been painful, the tension so thick you could've cut it with a knife. Thankfully, Sam's hard little problem had slowly gone down throughout the car ride, and you almost felt guilty for leaving him dry. But the both of you knew that you'd make it up to him later in the night. Your friends didn't suspect a thing as Sam bought the first round, mischief still gleaming in his eyes.5 shots later, and you were already starting to lose yourself. The room blurred around you and you tried not to stumble as you walked. Your friends laughed as you tried to persuade everyone how sober you were, knowing full well that you were a bit of a lightweight. "If Sam wasn't here to save you, you would've face planted the floor multiple times tonight", your friend laughed. It was true, but you were way too stubborn to admit it. It didn't help that you could barely walk in heels either. Sam pressed a kiss to your forehead. âIâm just gonna go outside for a ciggy with the lads.â You smiled and nodded, still in your own little blurry world.  Suddenly you got the very strong urge to pee. You mumbled to your friend where you were going, and she giggled at the nonsense you were rambling. Eventually getting the gist of what you were saying, she nodded, saying she was going to look after the bags, leaving you to stumble your own way to the bathroom. Thankfully the bar wasnât busy, and you were relieved to see a free stall. After finishing your business and tidying yourself up in the bathroom mirrors you headed on out, only to bump into a hard chest. âSorryâ, you said as you tried to squeeze past the man. âDonât worry doll, no harm done,â he reeked of cheap cider and gave you a smile. Despite being tipsy, you knew how uneasy the stranger made you feel, and made to move past him before anything more could happen. Thankfully, you escaped past, not without him harshly squeezing your ass. You raged internally, half tempted to turn around and slap the living daylights outta him. But instead, you plucked up the courage and carried on walking, not glancing back and shaking with fury. You felt sick, annoyed with yourself for not wanting to cause a scene, and sick from his harsh, callused hands. âYou were agesâ, your friend said as you returned back to the bar. Sam and the others had also returned, their faces pink from the cold outside air, and the faint smell of smoke lingered around them. She reached over and grabbed your hand, gaining your attention before anyone else would notice the difference in you. âAre you alright?â She asked earnestly, her eyes filled with concern. âYeah, my brains a bit fuzzy is allâ. You laughed it off, and your friend dismissed the matter, still not believing you. You turned your attention back to the lads and caught Samâs gaze. You got up from your seat and stalked over to him, a lazy smile on your face. He didnât return the look. Instead he held a look of concern too. Sometimes you wished Sam didnât have the same ability as your friend, the ability to spot the slight changes in your mood. You slithered onto his lap and loosely wrapped your arms around his neck. âWhatâs wrong?â, He murmured. âNothingâ, you said, almost defensively. âWe both know thatâs a lie y/n.â You sighed almost defiantly, knowing that you could never keep anything from him. âYou see that guy over thereâ, you mumbled under your breath. You still didnât wanna draw any attention to the matter, and you certainly didnât want to ruin the night for your friends. Sam followed your gaze to the pervert sitting alone, cider in hand. Sam had noticed him glancing at you since you had returned from the bathroom, but he had thought nothing of it. The silence from Sam urged you on. âWell, he grabbed my ass on my way over here. And I donât know, it just made me feelâŠmade me feel weak for letting someone belittle me like that, ya knowâ. Sam slowly processed the information, his rage building by the second. âSam please donât make a scene, itâs fine. Letâs just enjoy the night.â You tried reassuring him. You gave him a weary smile and slowly got off of his lap. Sam heaved a sigh and the two of you forgot the matter, at least you thought you both did. Half an hour later, after having a few more laughs with your mates, Sam interrupted. âGuys, I think itâs best if me and y/n head out. We have an early start tomorrowâ. You looked at Sam quizzically, knowing full well that you had nothing planned. Unsure and still slightly curious you played along, feeling bad for heading out early. You left the bar with a wink and a hug from your friend, and a few innuendos from the others. They obviously thought Sam was backing out because he was desperate for a shag. I mean they werenât wrong, you had both been desperate all night, but you had seen something else in Samâs eyes before you headed out. Something almost angry. You got in the back of the cab, eager to get home. Sam was about to slide in next to you when he realized something. âOh shit, I think I forgot my wallet. Iâll be back in a minute, wait here.â You thought nothing of it. Until one minute passed to five minutes, and five minutes soon passed to ten. You were about to go back inside, fed up of small talk with the taxi driver, when someone came rushing out. It was the pervert from earlier, holding his nose. You looked closely and saw blood dripping from his hands. Blood that was gushing out of his nose. He looked up and met your gaze. His eyes widened and rushed down the road, still holding his nose in pain. What the fuck, you thought. Then Sam came out, straightening his jacket. âY/nâ, he said surprised. âI thought you were waiting in the cabâ. You crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow. His knuckles were bruised, and a drop of blood was splattered on his top. âWhat took you so long?â You asked, knowing full well what had occurred. âJust got caught up in another conversation with the boysâ, he said, sticking his hands back into his pockets. âCome on, letâs go home, itâs freezing out here.â You let him lead you back into the cab, even more turned on then before. He had dragged you into the taxi because he didnât want you to see him angry. He didnât want you to be caught in that scene. He didnât want you to see him lose control. But that guy deserved what was coming. You suppressed a grin. The two of you got back into the cab, the tension thick once more. Sam seemed different. He seemed more relaxed than earlier, almost as if a weight had been lifted, but there was still an edge to him. Almost as if he was still buzzing off of the adrenaline. You looked out the window, watching the cars blur past in the darkness. With your eyes still fixed on the outside world, you placed your hand on Samâs leg. In the corner of your eyes, you could see Sam smirk. You slowly started rubbing your hand up and down it, etching higher each time. Sam tensed and you smiled. You loved having this effect on him.  The taxi soon arrived home, after what felt like an eternity. It had taken every inch of your will to stop you from taking him right there in cab, but you thought the cab driver wouldnât appreciate that, and would probably be quite traumatised to witness the two of you unleashing onto each other, right there on the back seats. The two of you stumbled through the front door, your lips already smashing against each other. Samâs hands roamed eagerly, desperate for every inch of you. You moaned into his kiss, as his bulge pressed into you, his touch causing your heart to race. His hands grabbed your ass. You jumped up, wrapping your legs around his waist, your back pressed hard against the wall. âOnly I can touch you like this.â, Sam mumbled against your neck, as he slowly teased your neck with kisses. He lightly nipped at your sweet spot and you arched your back in response. You began tearing at each otherâs clothes. Soon Samâs jacket and top were off, and you were left in nothing but your lace underwear. Samâs kisses trailed down, down the valley between your breasts and along your stomach. Each kiss left Goosebumps in its wake, making you feel like electricity. Sam looked up at you with his big blue eyes, filled with a lust you couldnât describe. He gently pulled down your underwear, leaving you exposed against the wall. But you didnât mind, in fact you didnât feel vulnerable at all. You felt free and alive whenever you were like this with Sam. He placed warm kisses between your thighs, eliciting an impatient moan from your lips. He laughed and gave in to your very desire, his tongue working wonders. You pulled on his hair, the only thing stopping your knees from buckling as you soon reached your climax. Sam stood up, facing you, a smug grin spread across his face. Before you could wonder why, he swooped you up and carried you to the bedroom, and placed you gently down onto the bed. âIâm gonna make you moan so loud that no one will ever touch like that againâ, he whispered huskily against your ear. âSo everyone knows youâre mine. And I am yours.â You couldnât wait any longer, you pulled down his boxers, releasing his very proud length. He looked up at you and quirked an eyebrow, obviously amused at your eagerness. You rolled your eyes at him, before grabbing his neck and kissing him hard.   You traced your fingers teasingly along Samâs dick, causing him to moan into your mouth. You then got hold of it and led it to your entrance, not wanting to wait any longer. Without a second thought, Sam thrusted into you, making you cry out his name in pleasure. It felt like pure ecstasy. Having him here like this. Just a tangle of sweaty limbs and moans, giving into the temptations you both desperately craved. Your nails scratched down his back and dug deep into his shoulders as he fucked you harder, your name a moan on his lips. Soon you finished a second time, your release barrelling down you in pure pleasure. Sam soon finished after, filling you with satisfaction and the urge for round two. He collapsed next to you, panting hard. You too, needed time to catch your breath and recover as you felt the beads of sweat roll down your face. You propped yourself up onto your elbow and looked at Sam,  and began tracing small circles on his chest. âI love youâ, you said, not daring to make eye contact as you said it. Sam grabbed you hand and placed it to his lips, gaining your attention. You had forgotten about his bruised knuckles and wanted to kiss the pain away, guilty for what had happened, even though it wasnât your fault. He kissed your hand tentatively and mumbled against it, âI love youâ. You smiled and placed your head on his chest, happy that you had Sam to stand by you through everything. As you closed your eyes out of exhaustion, Samâs voice filled the silence. âSo round two?â, he joked. Your eyes shot back open.Â

âRemember when Five said if youâre ever left behind in a mission, heâs not coming back for you.â
âhm, Seven said he was going to change that.â
âBecause you trust Seven now? Four lifted an eyebrow, you shrugged.
A whizzed cut the humid air, the choke loose down, allowing you a sharp intake of air followed by multiple coughs.
Seven had snipe the big guy right in the head. Your brain took a second to recover from the lack of oxygen, Four hanging above the void flashing back into your eyes, you crawled to the edge. "Four," your voice was harsh, he hunched his body upward, grunting while you reached for him. Grabbing your hand and the net he hoisted himself up to safety.
You laid down holding onto each other "I've got you" your voice wavered, Four nestled his head on your chest, arms around your middle. He was breathing hard through his nose, the blood slowly coming down is head.
âWill you now get down, eaglets!â Oneâs annoyed voice filled your ear.
âFive, you sighed, I think I broke a rib.â
âMake it 3.â Four groaned trying to stand up.
The adrenaline rushing out you had trouble standing, Four and you stumbled in the freight elevator holding onto one another. His hand never leaving yours.
Soon crashing into the back seat of the Mini R55, a sense of warmth filled you seeing the team around you. Catching Sevenâs eyes in the rear view mirror you nodded a thank you at him. He had break the rule. Itâs not like you could blame One, he had warned you, if you were to get caught during a mission, heâd left you behind, for the sake of the mission. You breathed in deeply trying not to freak out at what just happened. Five was already looking at your ribs, pressing into your sides to feel anything abnormal.
One had called a âmeetingâ as soon as the sun would be up, so you had a few hours to tend to your injuries. Watching yourself in the big mirror bathroom, only in underwear, new bruises started to appeared on your ribs. Lifting your arm, a bruise was spreading from your waist to under your sports bra, another on your right hip. A faint red in a hand shape around your neck-this one was heavy- your fingers grazed the sensitive skin, you hissed.
Catching a glimpse of Four in the mirror reflection, you removed your hand almost shameful, he looked behind him before coming in and locking the door behind him.
âGive me hand would youâ he took the gauze from your hand.
He stood before you, his jaw clenched and eyebrows furrowed at the sight of your bruised body, he sunk to his knees slowly brushing your sides with hesitant hands. Warm breath fluttered on your injured skin, his forehead on your tummy he sighed, your fingers running through his dust blond hair.
He then talked for the first time since he entered the bathroom âI really thought Iâd lose you up there.â
âWell same hereâ you chuckled bitterly, he wrapped the gauze around your middle.
âI mean, I canât afford to lose you Y/N!â He never used your name lightly since youâd told him.
âWhat weâre doing, this ⊠job in itself, we can die, for real, anytime, weâve learned that, painfully.â
âThatâs why Iâm asking you to be careful, if Iâm in trouble, thatâs it you run and...â
âWould you? You cut him he looked at you shameful, "would you let me behind?â
âNo.â he admitted
âI thought I had been clear. Iâm not losing anyone else.â Â
You kissed his temple before leaving to surround yourself with ice bags and rest.
âYou good?â it was the first time One had spoke to you since, yet not entirely showing real concern, casually leaning on the kitchen island, munching on some crackers.
âIâll live,â You walked past him grabbing a few ice packs from the freezer, you werenât mad at him per se, but slightly deceived. Ever since Six passed, a weird bond created itself between One and you, you werenât sure what kind or why though.
âWhatâs between you and the boy?â he was serious, not like when heâd ask Two and Three, he was dead serious this time.
âLike Two said, transfer.â Hand in his bowl you took a handful of crackers, ice packs hanging in your t-shirt.
Finally at ease in your bed, body clad with ice bags you slept off the pain, you didnât feel Four kiss your forehead before going back to his room.
In the morning you meet up at the market. Seven and One started violently arguing. Seven revealed his name, Blaine, and ask Four his and yours. He insisted that he had just save both of your life, which was true.
Four hesitated looking at One âItâs Billy.â You look at him with fondness, you knew his name since a while now. He did look like a Billy.Â
And everyone felt like revealing their name, Camille, Amelia, JavierâŠ.Well,
âDonât look at me Iâm not saying my name,â you leaned on the truck.
âThank you, EIGHT! â One emphasized on your number.
You liked this squad but saying your name was a no-go, for now at least, it implied saying your brotherâs name too, because you knew theyâd ask.
Seven tilted his head to you, clearly upset. Four smirked, he obviously knew your name.
One took a low blow with that argument but the mission resumed. Flying to Turgistan was the next move. The plan was to hijacked the TV radar to broadcast Muratâs speech instead of his evil brotherâs.Â
Later on, you ended up in the back of a truck with Five. Just for assisting really. Seven and One were infiltrating the main power generator of Turgistan.
âReally FBI this set upâ you nodded looking around you
âOneâs idea, you know how he is.â She waved her hand at the monitors.
Within minutes One was completely ruining it. The guy they were trying to convince was not biting it. Five tried to helpâŠ
âNoorâs dead, say is dead!â Five rummage her papers
âpaper, so archaic.â You mumbled to yourself, she threw you a paper cup, still rummaging the notes about the others generatorsâ head of power plants.
âWrong guy is alive. Fuck!â
You started to laugh, Five panicked on the comm âJust recover, recover.â
Hearing One over the comm you completely lost it, âHe was found with a belt tight around his neck in a unfortunate masturbating accident.â Five froze âOne, shut the fuck up!â
Tears of laughter were rolling on your cheeks until Five slapped your thigh âHelp me with him!â You unmute your mic, still laughing âOne fucking hell, abort!â Fourâs slang was creeping on you.
Five and you were totally dumbfounded at his ramble, worst is, it worked somehow.Â
Hours later you were ready to launch phase 1.
âLetâs go change the world.â One activated the inverterâs TV radar, Murat panicked in the inter comm saying he couldnât go live. Then his face appeared on every TV of Turgistan. One broadcast it from his phone.
Murat gave his speech perfectly, concluded âItâs time for a revolution. Rise up and letâs take our country back!âÂ
White Flag by Bishop Briggs started playing in the broadcast.
âWh..who picked this?â One inquired almost offended.
Five and Seven both looked at you and Four.
âYou're welcome,â Four lifted his finger â One clearly unamused looked at you.
âItâs a good song,â You agreed with Four
âThis... No.â One sighed loudly
âItâs perfect!â Four argued
âThatâs subjective!â One put an end at the discussion, sulking.
Four raised his fist your way- fist bumping- you were pretty proud of your choice.
âFOUR!!â you stood up clumsily from the bed with your tablet in hand, headphones on, only wearing a bra and sweats short. âThis one is perfect!â you yelled through the building, focusing on White Flagâs lyrics, a grin on, you didnât see Four rushing to you until his naked torso collided into your side.
âOneâs coming, like right now!â
Running through the sandy corridor you slid in the bedroom, throwing everything on the bed. There were too many belongings of yours in the room âshit. Kitchen!â Grabbing back your tablet you saw yourself in the screen, âshirt!â
Youâve never walk -semi-run- so fast in your life. âHey Uno!â Trying not to sound so out of breath as you had just sat on the dismantle kitchen bar as he arrived.
âIs your trailer too small?â he immediately asked
â⊠I need more space,â you pointed at your Nasa shirt
âThatâs an awful joke.â
âLearning from the best ⊠â you taunt staring intently at him.
âSo,â he changed the subject when Four arrived this latter glanced at you. âWeâre good? video, inverter?â
âYeah, yeah hum Eight was telling me about it, just need a tiny detail and I think weâre good.â You nodded, trying hard not to drool at his state, shirtless and shorts hanging low, you averted your eyes quickly. Yeah you were working on the last details before he walked in the bedroom looking like a Greek god and you got handsy.
âGreat, now you, missy, can go back to your trailer,â One pointed at the door then to Four âand you can put a shirt on.â
You rolled your eyes, taking your best teenager voice âYes, MOM!â
He flicked you off without looking back on his way out.
âShit!â Four heaved himself on the edge of the window, you waited a minute, before jumping down the bar, tiptoed to Four who had his face in his hand. Yours eagerly padding his toned stomach. Some words whispered in his ear made him look at you.
âLuv ....â his Britsâ accent coming out rougher at the sweet name, he saw your eyes changed as soon as he said it.
âFuck!â he lunged to you, caging your face in his hands and pressing his lips to yours, you giggled inevitably, hands on his low waist you step back to the bedroom, falling on the bed you squealed as he grabbed your thighs to anchor them around his hips.
One fired the bombs placed by Two and Three at the bottom of Rovachâs tower, destroying his statues and freaking him out, just what you wanted.
Back in the car on the way to the boat, you watched the streetsâ CCTVs. You were blown away by the people following Muratâs words without doubts, News around the world were relaying the coup underway. Phase 1 was a success.Â
Settling on the boat everyone started to suit up.
âSo I get a gun!â you beamed as One handed you an USP-45
âIâm not sure itâs safe after all.â He tried to retrieve it from your grip
âThree carries a gun, I think we throw safety away at that moment.â
One thought about it for a second. He handed you a second gun.
You kept a commâ open for Two and Three just in case.
âTwo, youâre good?â you called in her commâ
âThe party is going crazy,â
âGreat, weâre on our way. Over.â
//Â
âThree, whatâs your ETA?â you waited a few seconds âThree?â
âyou evil fuck!â he angrily yelledÂ
âThatâs..., not an ETA..âÂ
Then you heard a loud crash, him scream and another crashing sound.
âTell me youâre not dead, you idiot!â you let his commâ open, updating One on Three status.Â
One wasnât worried âHeâs a strong motherfucker, heâll make it.âÂ
He was right, soon hearing gunshots and Three trash talk you caught yourself smiling relieved, this crazy dude is immortal!
Four got out the cabin as you passed by it âOoo I love the wetsuit!â you eyed him up and down.
The corner of his mouth quirked up âHands off lady,â he looked around for Five or One, âItâs to cover your cute ass out there,â
âAnd Iâll cover yours,â you swat his wetsuit-clad butt, he swiftly caught your hand and shove you into the cabin before the others could see anything. âWhat..,â his lips eagerly pressed on yours. Kissing you like it was the last time heâd be able to do so. Seeing his confidence fading in his eyes you hug him tight âItâs gonna work out,â as he tightened his embrace you saw One over his shoulder, at the door, watching you. Since when was he there you didnât know, and right now you couldnât care less. He disappeared as you kissed Fourâs cheek.
âIs there metal in there?â One nodded at your neck, he didnât assess anything about earlier.
You shrugged âI donât knowâ strapping a knife at your calf.
âLeave it hereâ
âIâm not leaving it here!â you sounded offended
âLeave the cross here Eight!â One argued back
Groaning you removed the cross, kissing it, storing it in the inside pocket of your duffle bag.
âWhen will you stop defying everything I say,â
âYou see any cross,â you dramatically pull your collar
âYou know what Iâm talking about,â he left to drop the submarines.

"SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN YOU"
Jack and Jill were good childhood friends. Their path crosses at the wide woody and wild forests for the very first time. They became friends since then - they treat each other as a family, not by blood but through souls. They had a lot of ups and downs and memories to cherished together yet after some few struggling years, both completed their studies and went apart and take their own paths.
Jack, once called the good boy, achieved his dream profession. It is one of the most diverse and versatile field at engineering - mechanical engineering. And hell yeah! It was really a once in a lifetime career where he designs power-producing machines as well as power using machines. He became one of the most famous mechanical engineers in New York and it provides him strong annual salaries. Despite of being at the highest peak of success, he just continuously frittered away his life and his fortunes taking up an immoral habit of practices such as alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, drugs and he is also a well-known womanizer committing sexual immorality.
At the other side of the globe, jill worked so hard to be able to put forth effort toward a certain goal. And that is to own a vast hectare good for a farm not just for herself but also for the whole community. The planet needs nutritious and affordable food and that requires thoughtful and intelligent people to grow it â and thatâs her! She believes that this world needs someone like her. In the fullness of the time, she set specific goals and standards so she can work out her farm. And in just a month of dedicating lingering, it is sufficiently good, enjoyable and successful to repay her effort, trouble and expenses.
Early in the morning, Jack was awake by a loud snooze from his high-pitched alarm clock telling it is already 7 oâclock in the morning. âArgh! Yeah, I know I know!â He scornfully covered his annoyed face by his malleable squared pillow. âAish! Could you please give me another five more minutes?â He exclaimed resentfully. He slightly crumpled his eyes while yawning stretching his arms wide open before he turned off his blatant clock. He went back lethargically like he is pulling of his king-sized bed. He lie down once again on his crib but as soon as reach the climax of his fantastic dream, a very rambunctious bang from his door makes him stood and jumped out of his cradle. âNow what?â he said ostensible. âSon! I think you should stand on end now.â It is his dad who summons him on the other side of his bedroomâs entryway. âCome on dad, can you please knock?â he responded annoyingly while scratching his head. âCome on son! It is already 7 oâclock early in the morning. Are you just going to take a load off and fucked up the rest of your day today?â âYeah, whatever dad!â He no longer waited his dad to counter his immature reply then he shut down the door then started fixing his self for another sunrise-to-sunset working day.
Same time of that busy day, Jill woke up early before daybreak to get ready to grind for another productive day at his hustling farm. She ascertained that she will be doing good today in managing all the works in the land for its maximum fertility. So that, when the crop ripen, they can orderly harvest it by hand, combine or mechanical pickers. âToday is the day to lead and guide âem in caring the crops!â She exclaimed. âGood morning Miss J!â greeted by Juan, a young maintenance and repair boy who is responsible for upkeeping the farm. âI did tighten the loose fences.â he reported. He is sharp as tack in many kinds of labor thatâs why Jill trusted him so much. âWow! Job well done, Juan!â she complimented. âDay by day, youâre doing better. Keep it up, kiddo!â She smiled at him then proceed at inset.
âWHATâS THE MATTER WITH YOU JACK?! YOUâRE NOT GIVINâ A DAMN TO YOUR WORK ANYMORE!â YOU ARE NOT LIKE THAT BEFORE. YOU WERE ONCE THE MOST SENSIBLE AND WELL ARTISAN BEFORE!â shouted by Jackâs officer-in-charge directly to his frowning face with a sharp glare towards his boss. So obvious that he is suffocated by the scenario. âI apologize but I think you cannot feasible this project anymore. You are fired.â âYou canât do this to me freaking old man.â He rebuttals. âYeah we can. Why not?â giving him a smirk before walking away from Jack. âLet us see if you will survive that fuckinâ stupid project without me and my power.â he mumbled as he left the company. After he got fired, he recured from life-threatening vices. And thatâs how he spent his life. Days, weeks and months had passed and his life is becoming worst until he loathed his continual nonsense practice and decided to have an out of town to take a break to a place with a peaceful ambiance. He immediately packed his things up and started driving.
âHow I wish I could be that young good child again.â he bleakly chuckled as he lay down on his bed at vacation house. âOh well, gonna spend these weeks with a chill.â he sighed and head to nearby coffee shop. â1 CaffĂš Americano, please. Thank you!â then he handed they payment. âKindly wait for a moment at this table, sir. Thank you!â and the polite barista guided him to his table. As he sat down while scrolling through his smartphone, he suddenly heard a gleeful voice from the counter. âGood morning, Miss J. Iâve been waiting for my fair-haired customer today!â âHAHAHA, still a facetious young boy. Please give me a Blonde Vanilla Latte.â she replied with an over the moon. âAye! Aye, Miss!â. Unexpectedly, Jack was surprised to hear the voice, he known it very well. He peeked at the lady waiting at the counter and he is more wonder-stricken to saw who it was. âJill?!â he exclaimed aloud. âJack? Its been years! Hey how you doing pal?â giving an expressions of pleasure as she saw and walk towards the directions of Jack. âOh well hi. You look gorgeous right now. You are no longer that crybaby girl just like the old days.â he responds with an unbelief tone. âUhm, I am already a mechanical engineer. Didnât you hear some news and articles about me? I am one of the most popular identity at New York.â he continued. âOoooh! Cool! Well, here I am. I already owned and managed a farm in this town. Wanna come and take some visit? Guess youâre on a vacay?â said by Jill with a convincing tone. âFarm? What an inferior profession. But, sure! Lemme see your farm.â stating it with full of indignity.
Jack offered a ride on their way to the farm. âSo, tell me, what are you doing in a place such as this, your majesty?â he asked while looking directly at the uneven surface of the road. âOh well, I found my purpose here. I enjoyed here. Thatâs why I stayed here for good.â respond by Jill without even looking at Jack. âPurpose, eh. What a concept?â âYeah! Purpose. The reason or feeling of being determined to do or achieve something. If you dig deeper, through that purpose I am capable to make others happy. Spending time as much as possible with them to make this world a better place.â Jill explained with full of hope. âCorny! What we have here in this world is nothing but an unfair system and toxic people around us. You had to trust no one. Because in the end of the day, you only have yourself.â Jack looked at Jill like he knows whatâs right. âIn the end of the day, it is you who will believe in yourself, in what you have, and in what you can do. Because no one was truly concern about you. Itâs you, all by yourself. If I were you, you should take my advice. Iâve been there.â he continued. âWell, I cannot blame you with that. You had a good point anyway. Now tell me, what are you doing in a place like this Mr. Engineer?â A moment of silence enwrapped inside the car between the two. âIâm having a break.â he started. âA break? From what?â inquisition of Jill while sipping on her coffee. âI am on my downfall as of this moment.â obviously averting the dialogue. âCome on, spill it. I can lend an ear, just like the old days back then.â Jack too a deep breath then started to tell the whole story. âIt was really a fantasy when I achieved my dream profession, which is to be a mechanical engineer. All my life, I worked hard for it. I spend my whole life for it. Yet, the worst part of here was when I started to lose from track. I used to take vices such as alcoholic beverages, multiple boxes of cigarettes and drugs. I also used to be involved in multiple times of wrong relationship full of immorality. I became a womanizer and a heartbreaker. I no longer find my purpose. It seems that I am living my own selfish ways. Little by little, my life was ruined. And now, I donât have any idea on how will I started again from the very beginning, on how will I fix everything. And yeah, thatâs how my life went.â He narrated hopelessly. âI see. I guess that was really a sad ending. But, you know what, despite of what had happened to you, thereâs still hope. I guess you just need to take some time to evaluate yourself and to check something out from those painful experiences. And yeah, youâre right when you told me that at the end of the day, you only have yourself. My tip, take this opportunity to heal, my dear friend. You have to help and lift yourself up. And donât you worry. I am still here to believe in you. I know you can do that and become the better version of yourself. You just have to be patient and work it out.â Jill recommended believing that she can convinced Jack. âYeah, I guess so. Iâll try.â âDonât try, do it.â And again, silence engulf inside the car between them.
Days and weeks had roll down, and Jack follow all the tips and advises of Jill. He started to evaluate his self. Separating right things that gives value to his life and surrendering negative habits that deteriorating his life. He also cut off his connections to those ladies that leads him to sin. Jill helps her to brings out the best in him, finding his purpose and creates a better vision. Then, it started his life to change from nothing to something, from zero to hero, from better to best.
"You know what, dear, sometimes, we don't need to have a luxurious life and luxurious things just to make ourselves happy. I had realized that sometimes, what we really need is someone who will believes in us and respects us. And, thank you for being one, Jill. Because of you, I found my purpose and I had a changed life better than my life before. I know God allowed us to meet again intentionally so that I'll be no longer slave to sin. You are just not a friend, but a family who truly cares. I owe you so much. How can I pay you for this?" Jack asked Jill." Pay it forward, Jack. Just pay it forward. Do to others what I have done to you." and Jill gave her sweetest smile. Few months later after their encounter, Jack went home." Good morning dad! I miss you!" he hugs his dad so tight that seems to be the first time." Dad, I just want to ask for forgiveness for what I have done before. I promise to be better this time. I love you dad!" Then, Mr. Johnson hugged him back, "I am so happy you're back again, son. You're forgiven." After that day, his relationship with his dad was restored and Jack was now back right on track. He spent his life doing the right things, multiplying his self to others. And that's how he made his own legacy.

Lost in Space Part 11: Ch 5
Previous
Summary: Finally, on Commander Knoxâs spaceship, the trio finds themselves running out of time before the commander becomes an all too powerful Watcher.
Lost in Space on Tumblr
Lost in Space on ao3
The rest of the Lords, except for Four, got up from their thrones. Four, with luminous hands, clapped. A book seemed to plop down onto their lap out of nowhere, and they quickly scribbled something down. As for the rest of us, besides Seven, in unison, we repeated, "Daughter?"
"Ah, yes." One glances at the rest of the Lords with a cocked head before continuing, "Why are you all baffled? Higher beings have always done this to lower beings throughout time even before we were created for this universe. Human history even consists of gods breeding with them multiple times."
Third, one of their incredibly long, gangly arms that I now see has that circular symbol with the dot inside of it, which consists of their knuckles scratching against the floor as they move it upwards towards their face, moves their thumb and index finger apart. Their two bony fingernails, which swirl and curve, squeeze where their nose should be as they groan, "Yes, One, but at least all of those times were aliens breeding with other aliens. None of which consisted of a Lord or anything close to an actual god."
Two starts off sharply when they call, "One." Before Two can finish, they take a step towards One and rest their great hand on One's right shoulder. The mere gesture sounded like the same explosion I was supposed to die from. They then end their response with a soft, understanding voice, "What would Zero say to your inappropriate joke?"
One points at me and replies, "This isn't a joke." They place their hand on their chest, over the symbol. "That is my daughter."
"Blasphemy, Zero would say." Two yanks their hand off of One.Â
Off to the side, Four nestles before whispering with their head deep into the book and hand still jotting down what's happening. "This is getting good."Â
My crown floated on its side in front of One's chest, slowly spinning as it did. Through it, my eyes focus on the symbol. Everything around me turns a dark yellow, but after I blink, the tint fades. Another blink, and I feel my hands heating up. Moving them in front of me, I see a spark of my powers; apparently, a spike of my hidden bloodline, one moment until it vanishes with yet another blink.Â
Besides Four, who's smiling with the eyes on their raisin-like arms, and silent Seven, the Lords are squabbling. Two are shouting at One with a blazing golden aura around them. Lanky Three is begging for Two to calm down. Overweight Five and glamorous Six are also bombarding One. Still, the former is more interested if they're any more "abnormalities" rather than angered, while the latter is scared over how crowded this void will get in the coming days. One has ignored Two and is trying to relieve the two Lords to his left when I interject with, "How can you possibly be one of my parents? I've seen my mother and father and I'm sure I would've noticed either of them being some white cloaked, faceless giant."
All but One grows silent, but they all focus on me. Even Four stops writing and lowers their book to peek up at me. The Lords around One hesitantly turn towards them. "That's because your mother was a whore."
Hands returning to being submerged into a golden light, I encircle my crown with some of my powers. Before One can react, I snatch my hurtling crown and point my longsword at them. "Take back what you said about my mother."
Somehow this void became bigger. I suppose it's thanks to the Lords around One either stepping away from them or sinking into their thrones. One teleports just a foot in front of me. Air slams onto me like I was just hit with a violent hurricane the size of an entire country. It pushes me, much of my skin off my bones, away from the giant as my feet point upwards, fluttering against this rough wind. I nearly fly up and am lost to the void if it wasn't for me, forcing the tip of my blade into the seemingly nonexistent floor and holding onto its handle for dear life. My heart drops as I see my sword wiggling loose. It felt as if it climbed up my throat and slid out of my mouth when it eventually gave in. I scramble in the air, watch the Lords look up at me for a moment until I change my sword into a bow. I shoot. One steps back before the arrow, which is attached to a string I'm gripping so tightly that my veins are popping out, can strike their left foot.Â
Moving one hand closer, along the rope, to One and the lingering force of their teleportation meant being pushed back two paces. This pattern not only leaves my hands with lacerations but me gripping the rope's unwound end. I'm one heartbeat until I'm sent flying deeper into the void until I fall face first back onto the floor. When I change my bow back into a sword and use it to stand back up, I look up at One, who's staring down at me again. "You, feeble human, want me, a being you can never comprehend how powerful, to take back an observation about a woman who treated you like a dog until she died? She never loved you, you know that?" One bellows out a laugh. "That's right, you don't. You don't remember anything about her.
"You wish to protect the honor of someone who you don't know. Zero, who we seven were, would've laughed at that, which could be an accomplishment depending on how old they were. In the beginning, Zero felt nothing, but near the end they felt everything."
"I don't remember my past. So, yes, I don't remember her, but I knew her at one point and she is still my mother whether she loved me or not." Golden electricity sparks around the blade as I swing it towards One who simply steps away between my swift, blurring movement. Once my sword finishes making an arch, a force as strong as the beat of Cala's wings blows out from it.Â
One swings a foot towards me. I try cutting through it, but when it hits my blade, it cracks, then is sent shattering, and I am sent flying towards the other Lords along with the pieces of my sword. My back and the fragments of metal hit One's backrest, and I, along with them, fell down on the seat. It's the feeling of someone poking my shoulder that brings me to force up my aching body as joints slide back together and bones and tissue reknit.Â
I throw up and am greeted by a severed hand that's popped up from a floating disk of pure darkness directly right in front of me. There's nothing on the other side of it, but the punch that comes from the hand that's at its forefront tells me that it doesn't matter.Â
Back of my head grating against Two's throne, then body flopping back down, I wipe the drip of vomit from my lips. One clarifies as they rub their wrist when I finally manage to look at them, "That was for making a mess of my seat, but I can keep tossing you around if you wish."
Sitting on the throne gets a growl out of Two and One to turn to me. I hold my side, which is still in pain, and eye my broken sword a little off from who's supposed to be my other parent. "What I wish?" I see my body is glowing through my reflection from the blade's pieces in the corner of my eye. Resting my hands on the armchairs once the nanites finish healing me nearly gets Two to pounce. I saw them bursting with the golden glow, which was almost like they were being engulfed in a gold-colored fire until Three rests their hand on the annoyed Two. "Why does it matter what I wish? I am what I've grown to fear and what I hate. I killed Knox. There's still a war out there, but I can't do anything about it because I am stuck in wherever the hell this place is."
"Why do you hate us?"
I blurt out, "Because you've made an entire fucking mess of the universe. Knox was insane, but he is right. You've all been sitting on your ass while things out there turn into chaos. My life too, apparently."
The Lord that just ripped a hole through the void moments ago now rips a hole right beside them. They seemingly grabbed hold of nothing, and after the white flap touches the floor, the new view gets me to jump out of the throne and step towards it because, before me, I see hundreds of ships shooting at each other. One explodes, and its pieces are sent flying into other ships and through a handful of men and women about to land on a nearby enemy ship. Billions are fighting on enemy ships: millions are punching and kicking, shattering helmets or denting armor, thousands are blasting or clawing right through chests and heads, and some have even ripped through others by grabbing their wrists and pulling them apart until their bodies became two, which caused guts to float out in space, but a handful did worse. I'm sickened through all of this, but it's that last bit that breaks me. I grab my face and try to talk myself to remain composed, but my tears push through anyways.Â
One breaks through my disgust, "Yes, we have, but the universe isn't black and white. There are so many colors out there. With Knox gone, things are much more fucked up than before.Â
"Some feel the need to avenge Knox. Others see weakness. Most are inspired by the fallen commander. At least this is only two years in. Things will get progressively worse, though."
"Two years? I just killed Knox a few minutes ago. How has time passed that quickly?"
They put back the flap, and the horrific imagery of war is put away. "We are in the very blackhole that created the universe. Time is fast out there and slow in here, but I think your friends will arrive here in six minutes thanks to that serpent girl, give or take. Isn't that right, Watcher?"
I jump when a Watcher suddenly appears to my left. The thing looks at me. Two steps out of the way as the multi souled being drifts towards One and bows before them when they're a few feet in front of the Lord. "Yes," the Watcher confirmed.Â
"Excellent. You may go." The Watcher vanishes. "Now then would you like to continue to be thrown around like a ragdoll until your friends come and I kill them or sit back down to wait for me to kill your friends?"
"Why," I grunted through gritted teeth.
"Why what? Why were we created? We were created because people wanted us to be created. Did you know everyone spoke the same language before us? Even humans used the same language for a time long ago. That was when Zero was just a speck. Zero became us seven because people wanted to feel. Initially, emotions didn't exist. It's because of Two you want to rip off my head and now that you know this I still don't understand why you hate us. We are you and you are us."
Knuckles turning white, I burst with a golden glow and shout, "No, why did you make me?" I don't have my sword anymore, but that doesn't mean I'm harmless. I fly and charge towards the Lord, and when I'm about to punch them, they simply move aside.Â
"You are the first and only one of your kind. You are a partial Lord, but while you've only known about this for mere minutes I've gotten used to my powers for thousands of years." Again, they rip a hole into the void and grab the back of my head. One throws me down and drags me across the floor. For a place of nothing, I sure felt something grind against my face. My face is leaking blood, but One seizes my legs and then hurls me across the room. I'm sure nothing was there before, but something sharp goes right through me. I cough out blood, and as I'm grabbing whatever it is and slowly pull myself free, One quickly does it for me. I scream, and midway through my body stitching the hole up, the Lord punches through the hole forty-five times until One grows tired of that.
I fall with a hard thud and try to inch away, but the Lord sets a foot onto my back and proceeds to crush me. I feel the bones that make up my spine fracture piece by piece. I sob and beg for mercy. This gets Two, Three, and Five to inch towards us. They resist taking another step, probably because One motions for them to stay where they are. "You're a late bloomer, human, but we both know you can stop me. So, why are you letting me do this to you? Do you hate yourself so much that you'd let your third parent brutally hurt you? Answer me."Â
I sigh with relief when One steps off of me, but it's not over yet. The Lord kicks me, and I'm flung across the room towards the rest of the other Lords. I coil and wrap my arms around the shrinking hole in my stomach. Once that heals, I stumble up, swaying a little, and look up at the sudden arrival of One. One steps on my feet and proceeds to punch me left and right. I motion my hands in front of me, once again begging them to stop, but they only stop when their fists are hot from all the punching.Â
"My daughter, I'm barely using one percent of my powers." I flop down, and One has one of their hands, which is now glowing, raised towards me. They're charging up for a final attack. "Do you wish to die that much?"
"Yes."
Lowering their hand, the Lord asks, "Why?"
"I asked the same of you. Hey, what are you waiting for? Kill me already."
"No." One takes a seat in front of me, but there's still a considerable size difference between us. They sigh before continuing with, "I made you because I am not a real person. I'm made from envy by a number of people you can't even comprehend how many, so my thoughts are not my own. Through the part of me that lives in you I'm able to live as a real person. I'm able to have my own thoughts. I'm able to have my own feelings through having an actual life."
"Selfish bastard!" I blast at them, but One easily deflects it when they summon a shield.Â
"I answered your question and now you have to answer mine."
"I want you to kill me because the universe doesn't need me. It never has."

Five Hargreeves(UA)- Three Times He Proposed and the One Time You Said Yes
A/N: Ok fine, so this was the fic that i originally planned to post last week. I was having a major struggle with the plot and I abandoned it mid-way to work on the one that I posted yesterday. Glad that I succeed in finding the motivation to finish this.
Description: He wanted to get married, you did not.Â
Warning: Blood, fighting?
Wordcount: 2634
Playlist:
Loving is Easy//Rex Orange County
All Out of Love//Air Supply
Summertime//My Chemical Romance
âMarry me.â
âNo.â
You put the book you were reading down onto your lap and looked up to see your very unimpressed boyfriend.
You two were assigned partners in the Commission. Being a well-trained assassin before being recruited, you were one of the most skilled in the organization and was beyond annoyed to be paired up when you were doing fine on your own. At first, you couldnât stand Five but came to develop a liking towards him after going on multiple missions together, being more empathetic after learning what he had been through. You hated to mention it as you felt that it boosts his ego way too much, but being the more powerful one out of the two of you(he did have an upper hand, superpower and all), he did save your life on multiple occasions.
You were 50 and he was 58 when you went on the mission to stop the assassination of Kennedy. You soon noticed that he wasnât paying attention to the mission at all and you confronted him about it.
âFive, our target is getting close to where we need him to be. Can you just stop flipping through that notebook for a second and focus? Itâs really unlike you to...âÂ
âShush. Iâm almost there, almost done...â
It ended up with him pulling you into the portal with him. The next thing you knew, you crashed onto the ground, shocked to see that both you and Five had the body of a child. Obviously, you were infuriated but eventually joined in on Fiveâs plan to stop the apocalypse with his siblings. You were glad to say that the plan did work, no one knew for sure that there is no more apocalypse in the future but at least everything seemed fine for the moment being. No longer having to kill people for a living and regaining the youth you had long lost, you got to experience the joy(pain) of growing into an adult all over again, this time in a modern world and with new friends. It didnât took long for your relationship with Five to develop into something most certainly more than platonic.
And thatâs how you ended up right where you were at. Trying to read a book on a sunny afternoon at the building that used to be the Umbrella Academy, when Five suddenly tells you to marry him.
âAnd why, exactly?âÂ
âWeâre a mess, Five.â You said and Five rolled his eyes, walking away from you.
Sensing his annoyance, you quickly got up and followed him down the corridor towards the bar. You went in to see him picking up a bottle of tequila and you instantly cover the glass he was holding in his other hand. âFive, put that down.â He turned his gaze from the liquor to you, putting the items down and crossed his arms in front of his chest. You sat down across from him and stared back at him, resting your head on your palm, waiting for him to say something.
âWas it something I do?â Five questioned, looking more defeated and confused than frustrated now. You regretted your bluntness earlier. You hated seeing him like this, feeling so guilty knowing that you caused the pain that he tried so hard to conceal yet you stood by your answer.Â
âNo, it wasnât you,â you reached out to touch his cheek, âWe both went through so much. You got stuck in the apocalypse all by yourself for decades, no donât give me that look pretending to be all tough and whatnot, I know how much it affected you. I was literally raised to be a killing machine who does not know anything but how to kill. It was all I know and now that I donât have to do that anymore, Iâm lost.âÂ
The young man furrowed his eyebrows, âAnd how does that correlate to what I was asking you?â
âItâs just... you know?â you struggled to find the right words, âFor once, everything is so peaceful. No more killing, no more assassination, no more apocalypse yet I feel so out of place, so.. without a purpose. I donât want to go into marriage with that kind of emotional burden, thereâs so many stuff we have to work on. I donât know how to put it in words but I just donât feel ready and...âÂ
âAlright, I get it.â Five stopped you from rambling, a forced smile plastered on his face, âForget that Iâve said anything.â With that, he teleported away, leaving you alone in the bar.
The following days were torturous. He made a point to let you know that he was ignoring you on purpose, teleporting pass you every time he wanted to walk past you. Five avoided all kinds of interaction with you, not even a simple âgood morningâ at the table. The silent treatment was driving you insane, especially when you two live in the same building. You two had fought before, but never for this long. It hurts but you couldnât help from being frustrated as well.
âYou canât just ignore me, Five.â You said to the man sitting on the far end of the table who was mindlessly stirring his cup of coffee. He looked up and gave you a cold stare for a second before turning his gaze back to the black liquid. You sighed, âCome on, Five! Just give me a response, anything!â Nothing, not even a glare this time.Â
âFine,â You threw your hands in the air in defeat, âIâll stop bothering you.â Shoving the chair back, you got up and walked away from the table.
âI donât understand your reluctance towards marriage,â the voice stopped you in your tracks.Â
"The last time we had this conversation, it ended up with you ignoring me for days.â You turned back to look at Five, folding your arms in front of your chest as you recall the last time you talked to him.Â
âWell,â Five said bitterly with a mocking grin on his lips, âIâm not sure if you noticed but when you proposed to someone and got rejected, feeling hurt is a completely normal reaction."
"I've told you, I don't feel like I'm ready for it yet." You said, a hint of frustration in your tone. After knowing Five for so long, you had come to realize that his experiences in life made him stubborn and target-focused, you did find it to be a loveable trait sometimes but right now, it simply felt like he was not listening to anything you had said.Â
"I'm not saying that your concern is invalid but I just don't see how that has to do with anything." Five said, propping himself up by placing his arm on the table. He seemed so calm and collected, too nonchalant that it was almost forced. It was the silence before the storm and you could sense that he was starting to loose patience, you two read each other like a book after years of companionship.Â
The annoyance in his tone almost ticked you off. "Five, I do want to marry you," you said, "and we will get married one day, just not now. Not while there are so many things we need to figure out."
"You're avoiding my question."
"Why are you rushing this?" you said, raising your voice without noticing.Â
Five snapped, "Why canât you see that this could be our chance at happiness?âÂ
You were taken back by his burst of anger, the shock was soon replaced by your own annoyance. âDid you even listen to anything I said?â you bite back.Â
He let out a dry laugh, âYeah, and I donât see how that makes any sense.âÂ
You were lost at words, he didnât seem to pay much attention and carried on, "We finally stopped the apocalypse and for once, everything is at peace. Like you said, no more killing, no more Commission here to give us orders. Why should it matter that we are messed up? We have each other!âÂ
As sweet as that sounds, it disturbed you way more than such a confession should. âMarriage is a commitment and getting married means sharing a life, relying on nothing but another person is not healthy I-â
âI canât lose you.âÂ
It came out like a roar. Both of you froze in place. Five sighed and his shoulder sank, âYou are the one good thing I have and I canât live with the thought of losing you. Which is why I am asking you this right now, marry me.âÂ
You stared your lover who looked so small, the shadow of the old man who went into the battlefield with you hidden deep in his eyes. Neither one of you were ready. âMy god, listen to us,â you said with an almost trembling voice, âwe canât even talk about marriage without getting into an argument. How are we suppose to get married?âÂ
â(y/n)...âÂ
âOur issues wonât just go away if we get married. A happy marriage takes work, it takes communication.â you paused as you felt tears welling up in your eyes, âI canât marry you when we are like this. Iâm sorry, Fiveâ He tried to say something, but you didnât give him the chance and walked out the room.
âAgnes, I feel like a bitch.â you mumbled while you rest you head on the counter. You needed to sort things out and being in awkward silence with Five did not seem like a good option. So you headed out for your favourite spot in town(Five brought you here first, but you got so hooked on the doughnuts that you ended up visiting on your own all the time).Â
The waitress put down a plate and gave you a soft smile, âIâm sure heâll understand. Getting married is a big deal, you should always respect the other personâs opinion no matter where they are coming from.âÂ
You looked up and sighed, âIf only he understands. I have no idea how Iâm suppose to go back and face him.âÂ
âHeâll come to his senses, you two always manage to sort things out after you fight.âÂ
âSure, but things are different this-â You held onto your mug as you speak when you saw a shadow of what seems like a person flickering from its reflection. You moved it slightly towards the light source to get a clearer image. Your heart skipped a beat as you finally make out what the shadow was. Gunman, and more than one.
âHide in the back room.â you quickly whispered to Agnes, trying not to move as to avoid suspicion.Â
âWhat? But I-âÂ
âJust do it,â you muttered, âlock the door and donât come out.â Agnes was confused but did as you told her to reluctantly. You could feel your palms sweating as you clenched your jaw, there was only one reason to explain why gunmen were here.Â
The Commisson found you, and they want you dead.
Upon regaining your youth, your physical abilities were better than the time you worked as one of them but you were out of training. It had been a while since you last had to fight someone, let alone a group of armed fighters. But there was no choice but to act on your instincts as you heard the sound of the doors opening and the clicks of the trigger. Sliding a knife in between you fingers, you spun around to face the group of men pointing their guns at you. You recognized each and every single one of them, you trained some of them yourself. They were good, but you were better.
Without a single thought, you sprint towards the closest man and knocked his gun off his hand. There was no time for thinking and you did what years of experience taught you to do.Â
Quick movements, no hesitation, no mercy.Â
It was a tough fight, you were more skilled but outnumbered. But the blade had yet to lose its edge and the group of men were now lying lifelessly on the floor. You could taste the copper tang in your mouth as you pant, a sharp pain spiked through your body and you hissed in pain. You put your hand on your waist only to pull back and saw it covered in blood. One of those bastards must have hit but you were too focused to notice right away. You tried to move towards the door but your breathing got heavier. Your legs gave in and you collapsed on the floor.Â
The last thing you saw was a flash of blue light before your vision gone black.
The light almost hurt your eyes when you woke up and you had to fight to force them open. Lying on what seems to be a bed, you tried to get up but yelped at the pain in your waist. âCareful.â a pair of arms supported your back and slowly helped you lay back down. You turned to see a very concerned Five by the side of the bed.
âHow did I get back?âÂ
âAgnes called me, I heard the fighting and got there immediately. I arrived to see you on the ground, covered in blood.âÂ
âOh.â you whispered, staring at the ceiling.Â
âYouâre reckless for going into a fight against so many people WEAPONLESS.â he said, widening his eyes as he emphasized on the last word.Â
âWell,â you said matter of factly, âthey were blocking the door and most of us normal people would need to physically walked through an exit to leave a place. Would be convenient if I could teleport though.â Five let out a humph and rolled his eyes in a mocking manner. You smiled, relieved to see that at least he was responding to your jokes again.
Fiveâs expression returned to a more serious one, he pursed his lips and opened his mouth hesitantly, âAbout earlier,â he avoided your eyes, a sign of doubt that was rare to see on him, âIâm sorry for pushing you to do something you donât want to.âÂ
You tried to say something, that you were sorry too but he stopped you. âI never got to have a ânormalâ life and with the peace that I have now, Iâm so afraid to lose it again that I wanted some sort of⊠some sort of reassurance that things are stable, and I figured that marriage would be the thing that could do that.â He lowered his head in embarrassment and you reached out to push the hair out of his face, showing him that you get it and you did not blame him at all.Â
âThe Commission sent people after me, theyâll sent people after you. They wonât stop until they hunt us down.âÂ
âThen we take them down,â Five said, holding your hand in his, âthe best of the best, fighting together.â You chuckled. Looking into his eyes, you were reminded of the many reasons you fell in love with him in the first place, one of them being the way his eyes glisten when he speaks of things that he cares about.Â
âI want to marry you,â he said with his eyes fixed on you, âbecause you mean the world to me. We can do it tomorrow, next month, next year. Hell, next decade, I donât care. Iâm ready whenever you are ready.â
At this moment, you realized that you had found the purpose you were so desperately looking for. You wanted to grow old with this man, getting better and better each day. Whatever you set your mind on, you want him by your side as much as you want to be there for him.
âFive?â
âHm?â
âAsk me again.â
âWill you marry me...?â
âYes.â

ZM - Feb 10 - Fake Dating
@zutaramonth
âI still donât see why I have to go.â
Sokka frowned at the Switch in his hand from the comfy chair. âItâs simple, Katara. Dadâs a teacher; at least half his coworkers will be there-â The console beeped sadly as Sukiâs beeped triumphantly. â-and heâll be disappointed in you if you donât show up so he can brag about you.â He turned to look at Suki whose lap on which he was reclining. âHow to you keep doing that, woman?â
Suki stuck her tongue out at him before replying, âget gud.â
âRematch,â he said, kissing her nose. âAnyway, Katara, just go to your five year reunion. Who cares if youâre going solo? No oneâs gonna care about high school drama.â
Both Katara and Suki snorted in derision at the same time. âFine, think poorly of your classmates. But I bet that-â
The door to Sokkaâs apartment slammed open and then closed as his roommate returned. He tossed his keys into the bowl on the kitchen island, effortlessly turned it into an exhausted wave, and practically floated through their small living room gathering and down the hall. Another door slammed, presumably his room, and the three in the living room all exchanged amused glances as the muffled sounds of rustling still drifted back up the hall. A creak announced a door opening again, and Zuko emerged from the hall. He collapsed into the couch next to Katara, making her bounce slightly with his force on the fluff.
âHow is everyone?â
âIâm doing-â Sukiâs switch beeped merrily again. âOh come on!â
âGive it up, Boomerang,â Zuko drawled, leaning his head back on the couch to stare at the ceiling, exposing his long, pale neck. âYour girlfriend is unbeatable.â
âDamn right I am!â
âStop victory dancing under me! This is very unsettling!â
Chuckling, Katara returned her gaze to Zukoâs neck â since his face was currently unavailable. âWeâre fine. How are you?â
His low groan was somewhat lost in the din of Sokka and Sukiâs playful argument. âIâm alright. Iâm just, tired of dealing with people, both at work in Uncleâs shop and with the city council.â
âWell I think youâre doing an amazing job.â
He lifted his head to give her a big smile just as Sokka turned to them from where he was now upside down on the chair. âHey Zuko, go with Katara to her high school reunion. She needs a fake boyfriend to stave off all the terrible gossip remaining from high school.â
âOh thatâs not-â
âSure, what night is it? Uncle will happily give me the night off.â
âUm, next Saturday. Doors open at 4:30 with dinner starting at 5:30. We donât have to stay the whole time.â
He gave her a cheeky eyebrow raise. âIâm prepared to stay as long as it takes. Iâll save you from the gossips.â
âCareful, Zuko,â Sokka said teasingly before Suki shoved him onto the floor with a thwump. âKatara was quite the heartbreaker in high school. Youâll have to beat them off you with a stick.â
*
Katara was clenching the steering so hard she thought she might snap it off. âWe should probably go over our story before we go in.â
Zuko gave her an amused glance. âOur story?â
âYeah. How long have we been fake dating?â
âHow long ago was your last relationship?â
She thought for a moment back to college. âThree years.â
âYear and a half then. Taking it slow because we started when you were in your final semester of college, about to do study-abroad; I was just elected to the city council but didnât want you to get away so to speak without taking a chance, so weâve only been dating in the same city on equal life footing for eight months, but itâs been long enough that itâs not too early in the relationship to bring me to a reunion and have it be desperate.â
âYeah that makes-â She blanched. âThatâs very good but my dad will be in there.â
âSo tell him your plot.â
âWhat!â Zuko shrugged. âHeâs Sokkaâs dad, too. You think he wouldnât like a good prank?â
âItâs not a prank,â she replied, exhaling as she released the steering well. âItâs winning the relationships.â
âThatâs healthy,â he quipped, getting out of the car. She laughed as she slipped out of the car.
âReally? You of all people are gonna say that when you would date your private school girlfriend no matter what crap sheâd put you through?â
Zuko shrugged, throwing an arm over her shoulders as the moved towards the door to the gymnasium. âTakes one to know one, princess.â
âGross. No nicknames.â
âOh, Sugar Queen? A memorandum on nicknames?â
âKnock it off, Prince Ponytail.â
Zuko laughed, and from the other side of the gym Hakoda caught his daughterâs eyes. âWhatever you say, Sweetness.â
In front of the check-in table and the innocent Earth Kingdom girls whoâd volunteered for this, Katara punched Zuko with a quick jab into his side closest to her before turning to them. âHi, Katara Sweetwater and guest.â
Zuko took her nametag from the nice volunteer and stepped close to Katara so he could affix it to her blouse. She blushed at the attention. He tapped her nose with a finger just as her dadâs hand landed on her shoulder.
âKatara. Quick question. Iâll bring her right back Zuko.â
âNice to see you, Hakoda, sir.â
The older man gave a smiling nod before pulling his daughter to the side out of earshot of others. âYou brought Zuko?â
âBefore you start, it was Sokkaâs idea.â
*
Zuko leaned against the wall blocking access to the small alcove where Katara and Hakoda were clearly hashing something out. Somehow, that must have given a guy with even scruffier hair and leather pants permission to lean against the wall next to him. Zuko just raised an eyebrow, but waited in silence for the stranger to explain himself.
âOne of the downsides of being the teacherâs daughter. Always pulled off to get private lectures.â
âIâm not sure; the man has a fine touch with the grill. Iâd almost consider him a perk.â
The stranger offered a hand. âJet.â Ah yes. The one from end of senior year into college. The teenage rebellion one. The âonly brought home once to unmitigated disasterâ one.
Zuko took his hand and gave a firm shake. âZuko.â
Jetâs eyes narrowed. âI donât remember such a name in our graduating class.â
âOh no, I didnât go to this school. Iâm Kataraâs date though. Hence the hanging back. Iâd much rather navigate this with her.â
âInteresting. We used to date; did she tell you that?â
âNo, sorry. It must have slipped her mind.â
Jet scoffed a little. âTypical. Well, hereâs some free advice, since youâre obviously new to this relationship. Whatever Mr. Sweetwater says, goes. She wonât even question how high if dear daddy tells her to jump or to break up with some guy. So I wouldnât get too attached. If Mr. Sweetwater decides youâre done? Youâre done.â
Zuko raised a dismissive eyebrow. âIf you think Hakoda could make Katara do anything she didnât want to do, Iâd say youâre a fool.â
âThatâs what I thought. But just you wait. Or you could always bail. I mean, itâs a little weird to be coming to a school reunion this early on, donât you think?â
âI donât know,â an older voice cut in. âA year and a half sounds about reasonable to me. Katara, thanks for updating me on Sokka. I appreciate it.â Katara, now standing next to Zuko and away from Jet, smiled at her father as he stood in front of the three of them. âZuko, always a pleasure to see you.â He pulled the younger man into a brief hug. âGood to see you, too, Hakoda.â The teacher turned to the third member, voice and face notably colder. âJet. Enjoy the party, all of you.â And he waded into the loose crowd.
Zuko offered a hand to Katara. âWell, care to introduce me to some of your classmates?â
âOf course,â she replied, placing her palm in his. âNice to see you, Jet.â
âUh, yeah. Same to you.â
Zuko gave him a jaunty two-finger salute from the forehead. âNice talking with you, buddy. Enjoy the party.â
Jet just glared, and Zuko had to keep him from laughing. He leaned down to Kataraâs ear. âPlease tell me you have more ex-boyfriends I can annoy.â
She turned, her face so close to his, as she replied, âUnfortunately, no. There are, of course, multiple hearts I broke, but most of them were actually nice.â
âThen why break the pattern with Jet, of all people.â
Katara shrugged. âYou donât always see a mistake before you make it.â
Gently bumping her shoulder with his, he replied. âFair enough.â
*
Katara tried not to panic as the dinner ended and spun into dancing. Zuko was too good at this. She knew that both his jobs required him to charm people, but she didnât know when he had gotten good at it. Well, not good like a politician is good at charming. It all felt so real, the way he was genuinely interested in Haruâs moustache care or how he listened to Jin talk about her full classrooms of adorable kids. He still stumbled over words - he was still Zuko - but no one seemed to care, least of all him.
When he asked her dance for a slow song, she regretted having asked him to come the way she did, but it was too late now.
âThis is nice.â
He only hummed in reply, the note vibrating in his chest. With her ear pressed against his sternum, she could swear she could feel it.
âYou were so charming. How do you manage it? It canât be just all that council practice; I see you enough times when you come home from a session.â
He chuckled, another pleasant vibration against her face. âI just comfort myself with the knowledge that, given how few of them I met before tonight, even just as your friend, I donât have to see these people for another five to ten years, whenever they schedule the next reunion. It makes it a lot easier to let the mistakes roll off my back, because theyâll have forgotten by then.â
Katara pulled back. âYou would come to another of these with me?â
âOf course, Katara.â
She leaned close, still swaying to the music. âReal or for tonight?â
His eyes widened, but he didnât immediately say anything. Disappointed, and shocked she was so disappointed, she tucked her head back on his sternum. âIâm sorry. That was, unfair, of me to ask.â
âNo, it just, surprised me. I didnât expect you, well.â He paused. âDo you want it to be fake? Because if not, we can ditch this popsicle stand and get some real ice cream and get talking in peace.â
âGetting ice cream sounds nice.â
âYou gotta remember to take it slow though; donât want to get hurt going to fast in trying something new.â
âOf course. Itâs the best way to appreciate what you chose.â
As the song ended, Zuko pressed a kiss to her forehead. âThen, Sugar Queen, lets go get you some super chocolate fudge.â
âAww, you remembered!â
