For the five facts au— Hornblower, Bush, and Archie in the MCU. You decide if they are super heroes or not

Ooh, fun! I had to think about this for a while, but here we go:

Horatio doesn't have powers, per se. His superpower is his mind (though it's also his weakness), and that mind, turned to engineering instead of navigation, is what enabled him to build the Iron Man suit he uses to keep up with his best friend, Archie Kennedy, who's had superpowers ever since high school (not that anyone else knows that).

Archie, my sunshine boy whom the universe insists on tormenting, is the perfect guy to get Spider-man powers. (After all, keeping Horatio Hornblower sane is a great responsibility; he needs great power to go with it.) Horatio figured out his secret identity about five minutes after he first donned his homemade costume, and has insisted on looking after him ever since, up to and including building multiple armoured suits so that he can go out and fight with him. They've saved each others' lives so many times they've both lost count, at this point.

Bush is a late addition to their team, and also, sort of, the first. He dates back to WWII, the first successfully enhanced soldier who didn't go insane, and went MIA at the end of the war. Seventy years later, a science expedition dug him out of the ice in the Arctic Circle, short a leg, but still alive.

Archie keeps his identity a secret from everyone except Horatio. Horatio consults with SHIELD, though he doesn't exactly work for them. He doesn't trust them enough, but he needs structure and intel and Director Pellew is as good a man as a spy like him can be.

Hornblower and Archie both circle Bush cautiously when Pellew introduces them, but they figure out how to work as a team pretty quickly when the sky opens up and the aliens start pouring into New York. Horatio builds Bush an absolutely fantastic prosthetic leg after it's all over, though Bush put the kibosh on the laser gun and the missiles he wanted to include in it (as emergency supplies).

Ohoho. I like how you think. I had a great time with this, so thank you! Here we go.

Rick O'Connell hates her already. The MOMENT he busted her out of the cell on the flying Death Ball---Death Star, whatever---she was bossing them around just like a librarian. He half expected her to shush them as they blasted their way from detention. The money had BETTER be worth it.

"For kark's....!" Evie gripped Jonathan's hand and bodily hauled him out of the weapons room. "We are escaping!" she snapped at her idiot brother. "You do not have time to steal weapons and sundries, you utter nerf!" Jonathan looked somewhat abashed as they sprinted down the black corridors of the Death Star as they hunted for Dr. Bey. He'd promised to take out the tractor beam but they hadn't heard from him in too long.

Rick pretty much expected everything to be kriffed at this point. He had the Falcon gearing up and the insane girl was aboard, but there was no sign of her brother or the old guy who knew far too much about the Force and these Jedi weirdos. Color him unsurprised when that thieving little sleemo roared out of the hangar bay ahead of them in a TIE fighter no less. Evelyn slapped at the Falcon's comms without ASKING. "We TALKED about this!" she screamed. "I stole a ship!" crowed her brother. "It's useful. Let's go!"

"Darth Imhotep will not stop hunting you now," the Mando said, voice slightly flattened by his helmet. "Then help us!" Evie pleaded. "You know more about this than we do." The Mando sighed, tilting his helmet to look at Rick. "I know someone who is very familiar with the ins and outs of Coruscant and the Empire," he stated. "But it will take some time to convince him. He swore he'd have nothing more to do with the Emperor and his minions after being Marshall Commander there for years." Rick was impatient. Even now, Darth Imhotep could be entering the system. And Jonathan had disappeared somewhere to 'train' whatever he meant by that. "We're persistent people," he said, batting his blaster. "Tell us how to find him."

Ardeth Bay, the 'Fox' of the Corrie remnant, removed his helmet and gazed up at the bright explosion in the sky over Endor. "Think they managed it?" he asked Jonathan, who clipped his lightsaber to his belt and limped over to join him. "Yeah," he said after a beat. "I can feel Evie's irritation from here. No doubt Rick got himself shot again. But they're alive." Bay nodded. "It is well. I am in your debt---long have I sought to slay that evil." Jonathan grinned. "In our debt, huh? I imagine we could work something out."

OH. oh here's a potential au for the bnuuy. what if etrii never ended up leaving golmore? what about that.

Ohhhhh this is an interesting one. If Etrii hadn't chosen to leave Golmore, they would have exiled her eventually, but what if they didn't? Fun facts about Etrii in the timeline where she never left Golmore:

She's still be going by her forest name, Ajsa, and she's still very close with her moms, Ingleif and Hrefna.

She's a skilled artisan, renowned for her crafting skills. Crafter main through and through.

She's also very involved in Golmoran politics, mainly as an advocate for loosening the strict isolationism imposed by the Green Word.

She still lives in the place where she was born, a smaller town near the Dalmascan border.

Family

I keep thinking about how similar Vanessa is to the animatronics. She might've been the only one of them to survive until adulthood but she still spends her nights coming back to that abandoned pizzeria again and again and again. Vanessa is as trapped and under William's control as the others.

Danny has found himself reincarnated, for fun! While waiting for Tucker to reincarnate. He’s uh, found himself as a clone now- thankfully stable! But he was apparently also an accident, and overheard some of the people talking about termination, which no thanks?

So apparently he wasn’t exactly an accident per se, they did mean to make a clone, so thank fuck for that! They had apparently grabbed the wrong blood, which he almost snorts at. Kind of hard to do in a tube full of liquid though. 

Oh well, he’ll just be leaving now… after he destroys this lab and steals all these files on himself, thank you~ Now, does he want to go on an adventure or find his unwilling donors first…

Michael Afton (personal hc design)

I hc him to be around 19-20 in SL, and He has William's piercing silver eyes, which intimidates a lot of people. He's also an avid fan of the game Midnight Motorist, and wears an official MM jacket.

After the scooping incident, his skin turned purple from the remnant inside him, and his eyes are now hollow, with only white dots in where his eyeballs used to be. Despite that, he mysteriously can still see like a normal person.
