For those interested, here is my entry to that art telephone game all by itself! Was very fun to draw a bunch of sea critters in a grimy bar, im glad that was the going theme when my turn came around.

LOOK AT THEM. LOOK AT TEAT. MY GOSHHHH. I'm obsessed. They look like superheroes, and I'm just looking at Heat & Tobiuo's face and physically screaming.

@skullfacedlady took my concept and knocked it completely out of the park. Just RAAAAAAAAAAH.

The concept: Arcade by Duncan Laurence. Tobiuo is a Heart Pirate, Heat is a Kid Pirate. Their loyalties draw them apart, but their souls cry out for one another. The locks on their wrists showcase their allegiance and bond with their crew holding them back.

LOOK AT TEAT. THEY'RE JUST GORGEOUS AND PEARL IS LITERALLY AMAZING. I'M CRYING.

Noticed pretty much all of the fishfolk in arcane have spots on their arms and I think it looks rlly cute :33 he had to have them, shoulda made them a bit darker tho

I had this one sitting in the WIP folder for almost a year before I had the will to tackle it again - the woes of losing old files and redoing them from scratch, y'know. Also experimented with a messier shading style than I’m used to. I really like how soft and textured it is, but it takes forever with the brush I use, so it’s hard to say if I’ll keep doing it for other pieces. All in all, I kinda love how this turned out. Man, I miss these little guys.

You've seen the goblins, you've seen the catfolk, and now here's the merfolk. That's 3/9 of the types of folk from my friend's homebrew DnD campaign.

We haven't had any PCs of this race so I got work with my friend to figure out what we wanted them to look like :) it was fun! And I'm happy with the result.
