A Silent Hill 2 thought

Been seeing some bits about the Remake, including that Eddie's breath fogs up when you talk to him. It's made me contemplate something (spoilers ahead);

James encounters Eddie and Angela's Otherworlds and gets a glimpse of their demons - he can read the newspaper about Angela's father, can see the bodies from Eddie's world. It makes me wonder, what did Eddie and Angela see of James' Otherworld? Eddie doesn't really target James about his past, from what I recall (I haven't played the Remake yet)! He moreso implicates himself and his personal issues by projecting them onto James. Angela however, is more targetted. In part due to her trauma but it could also be that she's found clues about why James is in Silent Hill. With Eddie's breathe being fogged, I can't help but wonder if James appears wet to them - his Otherworld is themed around water, with flooded areas and rain. Just an oddity where they keep bumping into this guy who's constantly damp or waterlogged.
