Rain is too shy and too soft to complain when the waiter at a restaurant brings him the wrong food, but when it comes to taking on a very, very angry fire ghoul, he doesn't hesitate for a second.

He even intervened once when Dewdrop was bullying Phantom and slapped him in the face. In front of everyone. Even Swiss and Aether, who had nothing to do with it, got scared.

Since then, Phantom has been crazy about Rain, he literally worships him as a hero. He loves to tell the story of how Rain "saved" him from Dewdrop and that Rain didn't even blink when Dew really freaked out.
