Fire Trial Shortcut Photo Guide!

Do you hate doing the fire trial and want an easier way through? Are you interested in learning the shortcut? Have you seen videos but want a text/photo version for easier reference? Then keep reading and I’ll give you a guide!

The first step is to go through the first section of the trial, until you’re at the first exit. There is no way to skip this that I know of, but there are none of the shadow creatures in this section, so it shouldn’t be too difficult. Eventually, you’ll reach this ramp at the end:

Instead of going up this ramp as usual, look a bit to the right, where there’s a space in the wall. Go into this gap and then spam jump up the left side of it.

Once you reach the top, go forward until you’re on the rock sharply pointing out.

Across from the rock you’re on is a ledge that you’ll have to jump onto. This jump is a bit difficult, so you might have to try multiple times. I find it helpful to jump a few more times while I’m in the air, in order to jump onto the ledge if I miss it slightly. The ledge should be in the general location of the circle here:

Don’t be discouraged if it takes many tries! It gets much easier with practice.

Once you’re there, jump on this rock to the right. Go carefully, it’s easy to fall off again!

After that, all you need to do is carefully walk forward until you reach the crack in the rock I’ve shown in the picture. Then, spam jump to the top.

Now we’ve hit the mobile image limit, so I’ll explain the next part in the reblogs. The rest of the shortcut is much easier!

SUPER self-indulgent thing i had to draw once i got the idea, bc i love FromSoftware and all their games (...& also bc i will never get tired of drawing clora like an ethereal lightbulb LOL 🔆) ↓ extra doodles and a lot of yapping below❗ ↓ (& elden ring DLC final boss spoilers)

their boss mechanics bc im a nerd LMAO🥰

if you target clora and kill her before seb, seb will be inflicted with madness/frenzy, and his stats will be raised for the remainder of the fight

with clora dead, seb will stop using holy/slash damage, and will instead use occult, madness/frenzied flame, and his own blood to inflict bleed damage

killing clora first makes the fight wayy harder, but also reaps much better rewards/a unique item (like the ornstein and smough boss fight in DS1)

if you kill seb first and don't finish off clora quickly enough, she'll just keep reviving him over and over (like the twin princes fight in DS3)

when you get seb down to like 10% health, he'll stop going on the offensive and will instead do everything he can to protect clora (while being visibly beaten up & limping😭kinda like sif in DS1)

this is the boss i re-skinned them as (promised consort radahn) bc i love this design...and even the lore makes sense bc the big guy (radahn) was brought back to life to serve miquella and fight for him (kinda like my seb and his horcrux👀) i also considered giving clora a halo similar to miquella's (but in the design of her hairclip) except i scrapped that bc i thought it looked weird LOL. i still like the idea tho so...just pretend its there LMAO🙂‍↕️🙏 ok im done 🗣️

Switched up a bit from last year. Dodging the fire demons from the Season of Prophecy fire trial this year instead of flying with krill. You’ll get light from them to buy event items, like you did in Days of Style.

It was very buggy in beta but is working well in live. Doesn’t take long to get those five tickets.

Has anyone beat Rafayel's Fire Trial level 150?

I can beat stage 1 easily with Abysswalker, but stage 2... Jfc. Stage 2 is a big fucking bird and you have to destroy 5 pillars TWICE, all while dodging electric balls and lightening. If the pillars aren't destroyed within a specific amount of time, the entire battlefield becomes electrified.

Meanwhile, the big fucking bird has it's protocores and health locked. Once the 2nd lot of pillars are destroyed, the big fucking bird drops from the sky in a weakened state and, to be fair, it takes a lot of damage and it's 5 health bars can be easily whittled away—if you have the time.

Here's the problem: you have 2 minutes. The 1st set of pillars don't appear until you're at 1:45, so there's 15 seconds lost already; time to destroy them depends on your strength (maybe 20/30 seconds).Then there's a gap before the 2nd set of pillars appear, that's another 10 seconds. Once the big fucking bird drops, you have to smash the bitch with everything you have and hope to hell you can beat down 5 health bars in the 50 seconds you have left. If you can't, the cycle begins again. Not that it matters because you time out by that point.

Out of my 6 pink stellectrum cards, 5 are 5*, level 80, 4 awakened. The last 1 is a 4* memory which is rank 3, awakened and all my protocores are level 15. How much of a difference does having a 5* over a 4* make?
