do you ever think about how all the spirits are. dead? like they werent ghosts before eden. but now they are. hopeful steward is a ghost. they died as a child. they were parents. they had crushes. they had loves. they had friends. they had lives. they are dead.

and so many more people lived in the realms, don't you think? why are there so few? were there more that died, but did not survive as spirits?

Met this tiny, camera-shy crab in the spell shop today

I had to take pics from the second floor. Any time I got close, he would hide. Any time my camera came out, he'd hide. If he heard my camera shutter, oh boy, you bet he's hiding. So I waited patiently, all day. Finally, when evening came around, he came out of his shell a little more (pun very much intended 🪨)
