Could you maybe draw ladybug with the powerups you haven't drawn yet? (Earth, fire... I'm not sure if you already did water)

I drew all of them for convenience. I didn't really have an idea what to do for the fire pearl? But she ended up looking fine a bit bland but fine. I really like the ground pearl, she's so cute!

@smugwolf-sins had a weird ass dream with a fucky weird rayman design and i had to do my own art of him bc the design went kinda hard

i tried to stay relatively accurate but i took a few liberties bc im deranged

Thinking about how the most anxious and inexperienced version of Mario is paired up against the most unhinged and powerful version of Bowser.

I'm sure this is not the case but I think it would be so fun if those bigger shots of the gunslinger outfits meant there were pop-ups that showed up the first time you got any of the transformations. Like megaman style kind of? It's hard to describe but I have something very specific in mind. I just can't remember what game I'm taking the concept from.

#there's a good chance the guns only show up once as a bit so they get a little micro cutscene #but it'd be cool if it was something more #I swear there's a game that has full-screen side-wipe popups that show full art of the powerups when you get them #does anybody know what I'm talking about or did I make this up #there's like fire or light or something in a stripe across the background and then a full-body character portrait over top #maybe this isn't real but I can see is so clearly. but also not clearly at all bc obviously I can't tell what game it's from!!!#hot off the burner

am I seriously considering compiling a headcanon Mushroom Kingdom flower language

#mario #I was writing out powerup headcanons #and the thought of flower language came up regarding the Fire Flower #and now I am thinking very hard about this.#I choose to believe that Peach knows flower language and symbolism across multiple kingdoms #but Bowser does not #and that Piranha Plant bouquet does not imply what he thought it did.

Part of Magic changing is that Powerups don't work the same way anymore. Some of them got different effects, some of them just flat-out lost their effects, a few of them came to life and started attacking people. Luigi's going to be in for a nasty shock if he ever comes across a Fire Flower.
