Remembering Robert Axelrod

Today marks 5 years since we lost talented voice actor Robert Axelrod.

Robert will be best and fondly remembered as the voices of Finster and Lord Zed in Power Rangers. He also provided the voice for several of the monsters.

He also provided the voices of Wizardmon and Armadillomon in Digimon.

Robert loved meeting his fans and was extremely popular at conventions where he would recite lines in the voice of Lord Zedd as well as his other characters.

He's deeply missed.

Finally got to read Darkest Hour #115 and I only have a few things I feel are worth mentioning...at all.

Okay, good. Tommy calling the Old Woman Out and ALSO calling a Spade a Spade. Good for him--he really needed that.

Clear and present truth that two Greens REALLY shouldn't be in the same room as each other. And Drakkon continues to be a prima donna prissy little brat.

Huh. We might actually get an ally in Dayne. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Also I hope he--or anyone, really--guts Finster in the near future. This little fucker continues to be the biggest psychopath in this series and I want him fucking DEAD.

*SIIIIIGH* Okay, so Drakkon continues to be a coward and Slayer continues to follow after him. GET TO THE POINT, GDI.

Seeing f1nst3rs comments makes me take psychic damage everytime bc they keep calling him an egg. LIKE??? EVEN IF HE WAS 1. Respect his current pronouns 2. It’s none of your business and until he outright states his identity is trans, he is just a cis guy who dresses gnc. Just because you yourself are trans doesn’t mean you can’t be ignorant towards gender btw!

I think it's important to let guys be gender non conforming without telling them they're a girl, cause actually misgendering people is still shit even when you are pro trans. "You're a girl, an egg waiting to crack, and that's ok" how about you are a boy and a man and it's still ok if you want to do something that doesn't align with traditional ideals of your gender. You can still be he/him¹ in a skirt and makeup.

¹ People in the notes are correct, He/Him does not exclusively mean male. However in my defence this was a personal rant. I did not expect it to break containment quite this much so this is litterally just first draft brain dribble. I stand by the principle that gender is personal expression and not a dictation. He/Him ladies and She/Her men can do what they want with their gender. And they can also rock traditionally feminine styled fashion if they want to.

TERF's however can fuck off. This is a pro-Trans space, and this post was inspired by watching people be so pro-trans they reinvent the gender binary, which is in large part due to over enthusiastic Cis people.
