Today, we all relaxed a bit. When the election was called, it felt too soon to celebrate. When the electoral college voted, it felt too soon to celebrate. When Congress certified the vote, it felt too soon to celebrate. But now that President Biden and Vice President Harris have been sworn in, let’s celebrate! Socially distanced, of course, but celebrating nonetheless. I was on a tear making this bag and belt. I guess you could call it a combo because it’s all the same colors, but it didn’t necessarily mean them to be a pair. I’m thinking of writing up the pattern for the bag, soon. My beloved gave me a voucher for Christmas, and I spent it *straight away* on Scheepjes Secret Garden and Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk.

Knitted together for another super cosy roll neck jumper with subtle bell sleeves.

Bit windy on the seafront this morning (though beautiful), so have one by the front door again too 😂

The “A Kindness of Ravens” pattern by @disyarning is available! I test knit it and can confirm it’s a very well put-together pattern. My sweater took me ✨forever✨(cables, color work, and fingering weight yarn do not a quick knit make) but I 💙the end result! It fits me perfectly and the yarn is very soft and cozy, though a bit slippery for the color work section. Summer Court Tank

Its FO Friday! 🙌 I finished my "Summer Court Tank" by Dragon Hoard Designs (available on Ravelry) and I have a feeling I'll be wearing it every day this summer. 🕶 This design is very versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. The beaded lace detail along the hem is my favorite aspect of this design and was very fun to knit.

I knit this design in size 4 (45") and it has about 4-5" of positive ease on me, which makes this a lovely flowy and drapey top perfect for warm days.

Yarn info: I used 2 skeins of my hand-dyed yarn in the 'Gillywater' colorway on our Merino Fingering base. This colorway always reminds me of Adriata, a seaside city in the Summer Court from the A Court of Thorns and Roses book series, so I thought it was a good fit for this design. 😊 PS- I highly recommend this book series if you are into fantasy, adventure and a little romance 😉
