Summer Court Tank

Its FO Friday! 🙌 I finished my "Summer Court Tank" by Dragon Hoard Designs (available on Ravelry) and I have a feeling I'll be wearing it every day this summer. 🕶 This design is very versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. The beaded lace detail along the hem is my favorite aspect of this design and was very fun to knit.

I knit this design in size 4 (45") and it has about 4-5" of positive ease on me, which makes this a lovely flowy and drapey top perfect for warm days.

Yarn info: I used 2 skeins of my hand-dyed yarn in the 'Gillywater' colorway on our Merino Fingering base. This colorway always reminds me of Adriata, a seaside city in the Summer Court from the A Court of Thorns and Roses book series, so I thought it was a good fit for this design. 😊 PS- I highly recommend this book series if you are into fantasy, adventure and a little romance 😉

I decided to cast on the Sanderson Sweater by Dragon Hoard Designs ( @dragon_hoard_yarn ) right before we left for Rhinebeck in our Pink Petunia colorway. I finished this bright and cheery sweater on the last day of Rhinebeck!! Make sure you are following both @yarn_cafe_creations and @dragon_hoard_yarn so that you don't miss out on any of the drawings leading up to the festival!🍁 Here are the details: • Knit/crochet a sweater for you to wear at the festival in NY, or to wear during any of the virtual classes you plan on attending during the festival. Please note: you don't have to be participating in the festival at all in order to participate in our KAL, we welcome anyone who would like to join. The KAL will run from July 1 - October 31.🌟 • If you have a WIP that is barely started, go ahead and count that one, but anything more than that just wouldn't be fair to the people starting a brand new project. FO shots of my Mini Skein Merriment Shawl! I wove in all the ends last week but just got around to taking photos because time is moving so strangely these days. 🤷‍♀️ It is unblocked and almost 6 feet long which makes it a little tough to photograph but I would definitely recommend this pattern for anyone looking to use up mini skeins! 🐕 I tried to convince Holly to model but she was a bit skeptical. 🧶 Yarn: Dragon Hoard Yarn's My Favorite Murder mini skein set, and Knitpicks stroll tonal in the train station colorway. 📖 Pattern is Mini Skein Merriment by Jessica Gamache and can be found on Ravelry.
