“It was better. Intense and… consuming.”

“Aye. But I didna ken if that was because of the magic or if everyone felt that way.”

“I don’t know.” She hummed thoughtfully. “The few times I heard my schoolmates discussing it, their accounts never sounded this… profound.”

“I was afraid it would hurt you,” he admitted, watching her expression carefully.

“If it did, it passed so quickly I scarcely noticed.”

Jamie relaxed and resumed his study of her body for a minute or two before another question crossed his mind.

“Is it normal to do it face to face like that? I grew up on a farm, so I always just assumed…”

“Um… People can do it that way too. And a number of other ways, from what I’ve heard,” she replied, clearly struggling not to laugh.

“Oh, aye?” He eyed her with interest and leaned in to taste the skin just beneath her ear. “Perhaps we’ll try a few… And maybe invent some new ones.”

For pete's sake, we have to wait until november until the second part of season 7?! They can't blame covid or the strike. Both parts were filmed before the strike happened and we got a full trailer for 7b in august, and it's also a UK production, the strike was a Hollywood thing. Every other show who was actually affected by the strike is up and running. They were delayed by a couple of months, NOT ALMOST A YEAR AND A HALF. This is bs. I don't even know with this show anymore. I'm a book reader so i'll still be on track with the story and the characters that i love so much if i choose to stop watching because this is really throwing me off.

Just getting around to watching season 7 of Outlander, and OH MY WORD WHO ALLOWED A GHOST TO SING THE MAIN TITLE.

It's not even a cool ghost.

I didn't like the season 6 theme either, with the dead-sounding man, but THIS IS SO MUCH WORSE.

It's INFINITELY WORSE.

“I never thought there could be worse ways to travel than by sea,” he admitted, and I nodded empathetically.

“I doubt you’d enjoy brooms or portkeys either, but floo travel isn’t so bad. At least they’re all faster than a boat,” I replied, gesturing over my shoulder.

Jamie peeked out onto the street, eyes wide with shock at the irrefutable proof that we’d traveled from the Scottish Highlands to Central London in the time it would’ve taken him to draw his dirk.

“Aye, I’ll give ye that one.” He stood silently for a moment, just observing the oblivious bystanders with a thoughtful expression. “Do ye think I’ll ever get used to it?”

“To apparition? Yes, the first time’s always the worst. Though, I can’t say you’ll ever enjoy it.”

“Nay, to… to magic, I mean. Do ye think there’ll ever come a day when ye do something impossible right before my eyes and I just… take it in stride?”

I smiled softly and slipped my hand into his, giving it a reassuring squeeze as I let my love for him float across the bond and wrap around him like his warmest plaid.

“Someday, yes. You’re already on your way. I promise it won’t always seem so strange. I know it’s disconcerting at times, and I’m just so thankful you’re open-minded enough not to be afraid of it,” I admitted.

He met my gaze and cupped my cheek in his hand.

“I’ve never been afraid of you, mo ghraidh. Only that I’ll no’ be able to keep ye safe because I canna do the things you can do.”

“I don’t need you to be able to do those things, Jamie. I need you just the way you are. You keep me safe every day--just by being mine.”

Don't get me wrong... I LOVE pizza, but we already had Droughtlander with Susan Sarandon... And Susan silencing Caitríona and Sam with "the sex S & C..." (Subtle) ... It was hilarious! 🤭😂
