thing I want to draw sometime

one christmas a few years ago, we were taking family pictures, and after several more normal pictures, we decided to get silly about it

you see, between my parents, my siblings and their spouses, before even counting any niblings (who I don't recall how many existed at this point), there were at least a dozen of us present.

which means, to get us all in a single shot for a picture, we had to stand in multiple rows

... or do a very wide shot, such as a panorama

so, for one of the pictures, we all stood side by side, curving around the living room, and Dad took a panoramic picture

He moved very slowly, more slowly than strictly necessary for a panorama, and told us as each of us exited the frame on the left side

we would then quickly run around behind him and rejoin the line on the other side, before it came into frame on the right side

all told, I believe everyone was in the picture three times, and we wrapped most of the way around the room

I was just recalling this, and what a fun activity it was, and now I wanna draw the sanders sides doing the same thing lol

(with the addition of swapping out who's got the camera so the cameraman can also be in the shot. I don't remember if we did this bit at all. Maybe Mom took the camera near the end so Dad could join)

Dead on Main Head Cannon

My favorite head cannon for this ship is that when they're feeling petty and pissed off at each other they'll send the other a purple hyacinth. It hits both of their dead, melodramatic souls perfectly. Flower language for purple hyacinth is "my regrets follow you to the grave" and that just vibes the same as "my condolences for your stupidity" to me at least.

Jason in a meeting as Red Hood with his gang. Flower shop worker guy comes in and says with the monotone of a dead-souled retail worker: "Delivery for Mr. Hood?"

Jason raises his hand with a sardonic head tilt.

Flower shop guy drops a small pot of purple hyacinth in front of him on the table and then reads off a small white card. "For leaving me to meet your dad by myself. Love, Danny." He puts the card back in his pocket. "Enjoy your flowers." He says in a way that makes Jason certain the man has no idea what the word enjoy actually means before shuffling out of the warehouse.

Hood's men all sit there silently for several long moments before one of them finally dares to speak.

"You made them meet the parents by themselves?"

Jason let's out a long heavy sigh.

"Anyone got a couch I can use tonight?"

Absolutely love all of this, and plan to steal it for a D&D campaign planning sometime in the future.

I've had this little idea in my head for a while now, so I decided to sit down and plot it out.

Disclaimer: This isn't meant to be some sort of One-Worksheet-Fits-All situation. This is meant to be a visual representation of some type of story planning you could be doing in order to develop a plot!

Lay down groundwork! (Backstory integral to the beginning of your story.) Build hinges. (Events that hinge on other events and fall down like dominoes) Suspend structures. (Withhold just enough information to make the reader curious, and keep them guessing.)

And hey, is this helps... maybe sit down and write a story! :)

I'd also like to add that books as "zaney" and "strange" as these are absolutely being written, it's just that people who tweet stuff like this tend not to expand their literary exploration outside of what they already know and are comfortable with. Granted there's nothing wrong with that, but if you're going to claim that those "strange concepts" are only a product of that specific time you should read Tender Is The Flesh by Augustine Bazterrica which is definitely Odd with a capital O.

Weird is out there, but you've got to look for it because they're not usually discussed in "polite" or "mainstream" circles, just like a lot of current classics weren't back in the day.
