Let’s talk HC about SOTR

I really (don’t judge LOL I am a dreamer) like the one that Lenore Dove is somehow related to the Everdeens…

But I also have my HC she’s Barb Azure’s adopted child. I could see adoption (even if it’s like tough economically for people) being a thing for The Covey.

Let me know your own HCs for anything SOTR related (not just LD ❤️)

When Lucy Gray says "I am not district" what she means is I am Covey. I had a culture, I had a people. You stole it from me. I will not allow you to erase it, I will not let you make me forget who I really am, I refuse to be what you say I have to be.

When Snow says "Lucy Gray isn't really district" what he means is unlike all those others in the districts Lucy Gray is practically a person. Lucy Gray is so much better than everyone else in the districts could ever hope to be. Lucy Gray is just about human.

Yet Snow is under the impression they are saying the same thing.

I love that Katniss and Peeta clearly didn’t have kids to have a happy ending to the story. They had kids because it was a choice and because they felt safe enough to do it. I also love the fact that even though they do have a happy ending it still isn’t happily ever after. It’s clear in the epilogue they both struggle on a regular basis. It definitely makes the point that in life you can’t just get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. You will still struggle with things and work on yourself and strive for contentment and consistency. The epilogue is just chefs kiss because it is so real and honest.

Can you imagine how for a moment Haymitch had survived and had all the love in his life around him— to an extent he may have felt safe or at least could pretend he was.

And it all comes crashing down— suddenly the house that he had them all in for 2 weeks was haunted by the love that he once held. Their laughter and love soaked into each fiber of wood and stone— how could a place haunted by the love now out of his grasp be his home?

why do people seem to think that if lenore dove is a covey child that means katniss cannot be a grandchild? Four members of the Covey are alive at the end of TBOSAS. They could all have children and families of their own by the time of SotR (though it is less likely Barb Azure had children since she is queer canonically but not impossible.)

The kids might not even been super familiar with one another since the new head peacekeeper allowed them playing at the Hob. (Only Barb Azure and Maude Ivory are blood related at this point, I think, with Lucy Gray and Billy Taupe dead.) I assume the two boys at least had to go to work in the mines. Their lives might have been VERY different after Lucy Gray disappeared.

Based on nothing I am going to say Maude Ivory is Katniss and Prim's grandmother and Clerk Carmine is Lenore Dove's father...

Oh wait there is that speculation that Clerk Carmine is the "lone fiddler" who plays at Annie and Finnick's wedding. Now I've made myself sad thinking about why he is alone.

Make the fan theory, fan cast an actor you like, make an aesthetic board, talk about what you’d like to see, talk about the connections to other media — literally just have fun & be friendly/kind

And if you don’t like the content someone is making— block them or scroll. Keep your headspace safe if you need to.
