Hey, so with the Loki season two finale airing in like four days, a show featuring a currently heavily implied romance between a dark haired immortal being who played a role in human history searching for his purpose and a just some blond guy—I feel like marvel has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever, three years and four days after destiel was made canon and promptly executed on live television.

Maybe it's just an emotional shark week night, but realizing where the Loki Finale was Going, with the Extremely Norse Imagery and yes, mythic vibes which SO WELL interpret Their true nature aside from popular perception (which marvel is SO largely responsible for) ...

So yeah there's no way the writers aren't Super familiar with the source material (Norse material?), because that was the most beautiful and loving subversions of popular perception while being the most TRUE AND ACCURATE original interpretation of Loki as they've always really BEEN

In this (patchy) second season, not only did we get Mobius' backstory before the TVA, but also during the TVA... And I always knew he was a ex-hunter who had been through something during a mission in the field. Something connected to Loki? In any case, he’s seen things. He can be trusted. Of course Loki was going to seek advice from him.

A tired, washed-up old analyst with a heart of gold, eh? Well, without him, there would be no God of Stories.

everyone has these thoughtful reasons and careful media analysis to make their point about why sylki will/won't "be endgame" and thus it's okay (or not) if they argue a bit first and i am slightly ashamed to admit that my entire thought process thus far has just been "well there's six episodes to fill, of course they'll drag the romance plot out as long as possible." :'(
