Disney's The Haunted Mansion | The Medusa Changing Portrait (2003 Film Version)

The gorgon (Medusa) changing portrait from the Disney Theme Park Attraction, "The Haunted Mansion", appearing in the 2003 film is applied on Sir Frederic Leighton's "Portrait of a Roman Lady". It's the portrait of Anna Risi (known as "La Nanna" or "Nanna"). She becomes Medusa's gorgon form, with Caravaggio's depiction of the beheaded "Medusa" on a shield applied when that painting transforms. As shown on the DVD Menu, this painting is in the main "Set Up" where she morphed. If you have "The Haunted Mansion" on DVD and you wish to go see the Medusa changing portrait, here are the following two steps:

1. Go to "DVD Menu".

2. Select "Set Up".

Originaltitel: "Jack and the Hole"

Das einzig positive an diesem Film ist für mich das er im Bildformat 4:3 gedreht wurde, und das dieser Film eine wunderbare Einschlafhilfe ist. Und das war es auch schon. Es wird in dem Film nicht viel geredet, es wird überhaupt nicht erklärt, warum, wieso und weshalb der Hauptcharakter so handelt. Und noch verwirrender ist diese total sinnlose in dem Film integrierte Zweitstory mit der Mutter, die Hals über Kopf ihr Haus verlässt und die Tochter mit Geld für 10 Monate alleine zurück lässt. Das hier ist ein Film wo einfach überhaupt nichts stimmt, die Musik nervt, alle Charaktere sind blass und flach und bis zum absolut nichtssagenden und vollkommen langweiligem Ende durchzuhalten eine absolute Herausforderung. Den halben Gnadenpunkt gibt es von mir nur, weil es in der heutigen Zeit noch Filmemacher gibt, die auf das Bildformat 4:3 setzen.
