so uh. that 2.2 Special Program, huh
#hsr#honkai star rail#hsr 2.2#hsr spoilers#hsr leaks#the body of this post reads as far less enthusiastic than i really am#i just don’t know how to casually return from my latest 2 week hiatus only to gush abt a game i’ve hardly blogged abt before#but i’m not making a whole ass sideblog for it like i did for Genshin. nah y’all r gonna bear witness to my fixation with this one#so anyways don’t mind me. vibrating into another dimension with anticipation for the next 11 days#it’s insane man. a year ago i Never ever woulda thought i’d be so invested in this game. and it took Months for the game to really grab me#but i’m v glad i kept coming back even when i was struggling to really get into it. like i just had this feeling that if i stuck around and#gave the game a chance to really like. come into its stride. i just always felt like there was Something there and i just hadn’t found it#and holy shit i finally found it in Penacony. the devs really truly outdid themselves with this region and these characters and this story#not to discount everything that’s happened prior. like i was genuinely Liking it all before now but i wasn’t Loving it y’know#but that may be more a ‘me having to fight tooth n’ nail to force myself to consume new media’ thing than it is a matter of the actual game#anyways i came here to talk abt the program! bc since i’m not filming my HSR stuff i’m gonna be insufferable abt it on Tumblr instead ! :)#and i’m probably not filming any more Genshin stuff. or anything else at all for that matter but let’s not talk abt that dead dream#pun not intended lmao. Anyways let’s return to the subject at hand while there’s still room left in these tags shall we#i’m so fucking glad they had Aventurine on this program man. especially since he’s leaked to only have 18 lines in 2.2… it was nice to see-#-him here at least 🥹 i’ll take what i can get. his unenthusiastic little bird noises at the beginning.. him being reluctant to come out..#the way one of the first things to come out of his mouth was ‘y’know DR RATIO once told me…’ like boy we get it ur in love with him 🙄 (/J!)#i love how they can’t go on these programs w/o talking abt each other it’s adorable. AND THE WAY HE WAS THE ONE TO EXPLAIN BOOTHILL’S KIT!?#they can’t just fuel my crackship like this… god and his whole ‘muddle-fudger.. son-of-a-nice-lady?’ thing had me wheezing#Aven mocking Boothill’s inability to curse was not on my special program bingo card but fuck i’m here for it#and Robin being all curious abt him was so cute.. ‘who /is/ he? … does he order milk at the bar?’ i’m crying she’s so sweet#also the trailer was fucking insane. which feels redundant as hell bc all of HoYo’s version trailers go hard but like. still. wow.#that millisecond long shot of Boothill surveying the skyline is so fucking good. also what the fuck is Jing Yuan doing here!!#not complaining at all tho. we’ve got JY & DH(IL?). Argenti(?). Boothill. Sunday. Aven. all my men r here and i am eating so fucking good#Seven.txt#viddy game stuff

Hi!! Just discovered your blog and love your writing — I’d love to see more Sasuke content!! he’s my absolute favorite 🫣🫠 personal headcanon but I feel like he’s the type that would fall for a friend, or friend of a friend, and not even realize it until he’s getting mad she’s not coming onto him like everyone else does, and then he thinks about that and he’s like oh wait…
and then he’d like make it his mission in life to get her to beg for him in evvvvery way 😏 if you are taking requests, I am horny af for him and would love to see your take on Sasuke finally *ahem* winning her over and giving her more than she knows what to do with, taking everything he wants from her…
but also mainly just any nsfw Sasuke content from you would make me sooo happy 🥵💕
Hello my lovely ☺️ welcome to my little slutty corner of the world and I’m glad you’re here. When I saw your request(s) I got so damn giddy. Sasuke was my original Uchiha bae. Called him, Sasbae 😂😂 I still love him, but more like an ex boyfriend now.
Lmao Sasuke inadvertently falling for a friend of a friend that he saw for all of ten minutes once is just too funny for me. And all too real for him. (SO LINKS WONT LET ME ADD THIS TO MY MASTERLIST??)
NSFW; Sasuke getting blown like the wind by a girl he couldn’t even wrap his head around; so she wraps her lips around his head
Like he wouldn’t even know what to do with himself. I think out of all the Uchiha, Sasuke is the easiest to fall the hardest. Maybe Shisui second, but he’s somewhat more precautionary with his heart. Sasuke just gets struck with Cupids arrow and his soul is on fire 🔥 his heart burns and his blood boils with the intensity of a thousand stars. He just goes from chill to one hundred too fast. And gets livid about it, Shisui consistently badgers him too which makes the situation even worse.
Of course this girl knows what’s coming; she’s not stupid. No woman is stupid when it comes to garnering the attention of an Uchiha…if you do manage to catch their eye(s); consider yourself lucky. And she’s going to milk it for every ounce it’s worth. Sasuke is also the baby Uchiha, so even as an adult now, he needs and wants a lot of attention. Many years of being doted on by his older brother has spoiled him a bit. And he won’t admit it, ever. It’s like fighting tooth and nail with the neighbor over whose side a single damn weed is growing on. He wants her affections first and without having to make a move, but he’s not lazy or unmotivated. He’s just rather expectant and catered too.
And dear Sasuke; he’s not a romantic man. lol. He’s the tough love kinda of guy, he actually likes to be the one who gets chased, but this girl doesn’t want to go that route, she wants to be hunted like prey. So when she doesn’t fall for his reverse psychology tactic (he tried to leave her hanging one day—just out of the blue and he was so awkward about it, which she found endearing). He gets even more mad! She knows the game all too well and he loathes her for it.
This goes on for several weeks. That push and pull between to stubborn individuals who want nothing more than to feel one another beneath the other, but also are scared of the consequences of getting hurt. It’s a slippery slope. And eventually Sasuke caves, falls right into her lap, I honestly don’t see him making the first move, but he is going to pester her about how she feels about him.
They will spend an afternoon sparring and mildly arguing about this. It’s so damn funny, arguing over who should make the first move. Who does that? Apparently Sasuke. And you know what, she just does it. Does it knowing full well he wasn’t expecting her to.
Pins him to the ground and kisses his lips soft, but deep. Holding his face tenderly as she brushes the hair from his eyes. His cheeks are glazed with pink; and if she hadn’t known any better…there was a shift in his breathing. Which causes her to slip her tongue over his bottom lip.
Yes, this is exactly what Sasuke envisioned. Just all the permission needed to rub his thumb over her clothed heat and make her gasp in his mouth. Each subsequent sound he swallows whole as his courage, and cock, grow beyond magnifying proportions. He doesn’t think or recall a time in his life where he’s ever been this hard.
Quickly, he’s exposed: her lithe fingers mapping and touching every crevice of his aching cock. He groans, even just mere touching he wants to cum. The moment her mouth hits his sensitive flesh; he’s a mess. Gripping her hair and squeezing his legs around her. It doesn’t take long for the familiar feeling of orgasm to barrel from balls to shaft, and he’s not ready. But he can’t stop it.
He’s probably never busted a load this fast or fat, how many minutes was that? Three? Five? He’s almost embarrassed that he’s cumming this fast in her mouth, but how could he not? The way her lips look plump with her wrapped around him. How easily she sucks him into the back of her throat, undulating her mouth and tongue over his shaft. Yea, he’s in heaven and when she hums. That’s when a torrent of his seed pulses down her gullet. Hot and sticky.
From there his cheeks are red; and he gets standoff-ish. Totally, very much Sasuke. Though he’s not a complete ass wipe, once his hearts out of his throat, the favor is more than ten fold reciprocated and by the gods. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is more arousing and ethereal than catching his lazy gaze as he swipes up her slit. Nose, mouth and chin dribbled with her slick, his grip on her waist holding her in place. Sasuke’s been considering this for months, months.
Making her girl brain into mashed potatoes is easy street, 1 2 3. All that cocky and arrogant banter between them was really just covert foreplay, and telling Sasuke how cute it was that he came fast was stupid. Really stupid, since all he has to do is suck on her clit, undoing her with solely his mouth. Nursing off her orgasm until she’s a jittery mess, incapable of sitting up afterwards. Can only stare at the sky, blinking and thinking how to fucking rack her brain around this.
It’s awkward, but just for a brief minute. Hormones aside, he’s lot entirely a touchy feely guy, but doesn’t protest when she wants to sit close to him afterwards under a tree. His dormant emotions take time to develop, to process all this outwardly. Inwardly he’s conveying them perfectly, but how he expresses them is something else.

you’ve probably gotten a lot of asks like this, but I just haven’t seen any posted. what are your feelings on the remake, if you are watching it? more specifically, what do you think was the biggest problem with it?
i rlly havent actually! i think it's bc im really trying to Pretend I Do Not See It. rn i'm fighting TOOTH AND NAIL against the temptation to hatewatch because i do not need that in my life lmao.
the thing i cannot get over with is how Cheap it looks, it rlly smells of poor rushed workers to me, despite the astronomical budget that went into it. 15 MIL!!??? same as the late seasons of game of thrones!! now i'm not saying GoT is a pinnacle of virtue but it featured: a really good burn scar make up that took up half a character's face, a really good Notorious white hair wig with intricate hairstyles, really good costumes and heavy winter furs, really good location and fantasy beasts cgi and ummmmmmm from what i've seen of natla well. it had nothing of the sort. it's just bad gary it's uglyy

I love the fact that akashi is canonically a tea nerd lmao.
Thinking of Kuroko's performance in a game?
Tumblr media
Drink Tea
Woke up at 5 am to go to school?(Dont lie you know he wakes up early af to get work done)
Tumblr media
Drink Tea!(Look at the love in his eyes guys. He looks so peaceful looking at that cup of tea It has helped him like coffee has helped me during finals week)
Someone would ask him why he likes it and hed go on a long tangent about aroma and taste and the type of tea leaves used.(Hes so weird I love him)
I bet he has a special pot and cups for it. As in traditional Tea sets. He is having none of that electronic tea making devices.
He definitely prefers tea brewed by the pot, he thinks the tea tastes much better traditional style(No one thinks it tastes any different but this is one topic that akashi will fight tooth and nail for so everyone just agrees as he stares them down)
I sometimes wonder whether he brews the tea himself or does the chef do it. I think that he brews the tea by himself 1. Because it just doesnt taste the same when other people make it(The only one who can brew my tea is me)
2.He used to help his mother brew tea when she was still alive and its one of his most cherished memories so making the tea reminds him of her okay enough dont make yourself cry.
Hes like the Uncle Iroh of KnB but like a high schooler. That said:
Akashi: Ugh! This tea is nothing more than hot leaf juice
Murasakibara: Aka-chin, Thats what all tea is.
Akashi:ヽ(°〇°)ノ How could a member of my own team say something so horrible!
Bonus Kaomoji: (づ ᴗ‿ᴗ)づ🍵

is it just me or is the justification for hawke helping meredith annul the gallows completely… non-existent? i try and try to figure out why hawke would think killing all the mages for something anders openly did himself was the right decision and i always come up blank. only a really sadistic, mage-hating hawke would be okay with it. the whole annulment is so insane and senseless to me. is it just me who thinks this, or would other fans agree?
for roleplay purposes, i think there are a few mindsets you can work with beyond hawke just being foundationally comically evil. here’s a couple suggestions off the top of my head:
they believe that an annulment will sate the templars and the common people, containing the violence to kirkwall in one bloody stroke rather than causing widespread retribution across thedas
they have fought tooth and nail for their place in kirkwall for seven years and they are ultimately not willing to sacrifice it and be a refugee again, no matter what they have to do. i think it’s interesting to consider how da2 is framed and advertised as a rise-to-power game, and the crux of siding with the mages is giving all that up, whereas you can only finish your climb to the top by siding with the templars
they believe having a voice on the “winning side” is the only way they can save themself (if a mage) or their sister (if bethany is a circle mage) from meredith’s wrath. they are unwilling to risk their lives and their friends’ lives fighting for what they see as a doomed cause
for a mage hawke, a desperate desire to believe that they can be a mage who is “different” and cut themselves off from the rest, and if they have previously supported the templars, a kind of sunk cost fallacy where what they’ve done has to be worth it
for a non-mage hawke, deep-seated bitterness that they were raised for this fight, that they are expected to die for this when magic has never done anything for them but take everything they have
i think hawke is a really difficult protagonist to play pro templar because the game places you into a position where you and your family’s existence, and that of companions you have no choice but to pick up, is inherently an act of defiance against the templars. ser wesley makes that clear from the start of the game. it’s illegal for you to exist freely, and there is never any option to do what the templars require, because it would completely end your ability to act as hawke. that’s a game limitation but there’s something to be said for that as a thematic comment, as well. persecutors can put down their weapons and go home, but the only way to escape being the enemy of people who want you dead for what you are is to stop existing. there’s a reason meredith will always turn on you no matter what, beyond just wanting everyone to have that boss fight. there’s a reason writers have talked about regretting that for orsino but not for her, and there’s a reason she’s (iirc? lmao) always the climactic fight and ultimate enemy that comes last, whoever you side with
there’s no morally justifiable reason for anyone to annul a circle, full stop. it’s incredibly evil, inarguably. but real people do evil things. obviously exploring a character like that is not for everyone as a game experience, but as a thought exercise i do think it’s worth recognising that people who enact atrocities aren’t somehow magically inherently soulless. populations who collectively commit the worst evils that humanity has ever seen don’t just, like, happen to have a higher concentration of evil than everyone else in a world. it’s a human behaviour we see committed constantly by people born as ordinary as you and me. and i do think that’s something we should be aware of, rather than falling into the trap of believing there’s something that, uh, inherently separates us from those people, because then we risk complacency and blindness, right, and thinking something must be fine because our people and our leaders would never do something like that. that got a little off track and philosophical. food for thought! it’s not like every templar who takes part in the annulment is somehow inhuman, is my point, and the fact that they follow those orders is really very human, if you compare them to, you know, any military force now or in history. it’s what happens. (as is resistance and compassion, before we get too bleak.) hawke is human, too, and even when presented with only one morally acceptable choice, may not always make it
uhh my point is i do think it can be done without hawke just being an irrational villain caricature who kills for fun, and it’s an rpg literally made for you to have those options, but it requires effort and creativity and grappling with what’s involved a bit. there’s a reason players overwhelmingly support the mages it’s not a surprising response to that choice at all

[bg3 heavy spoilers]
Of all the gaslight/gatekeep/girlboss characters in this franchise, the very one that irritates me the most is The Emperor/Balduran. Not because he manipulates you (everyone kinda does in this game, whatever), but because of the way he does it.
He needs the player to trust him? Okay, I could forgive him for appearing in my dreams as my idealistic knight in shining armor (as he puts it himself!!), but he KNEW what he was doing when he chose to wear the greek tunic. HE KNEW!
He was really trying to seduce the player and use it in his favor to manipulate them more easily. He keeps pressuring the player to use the tadpoles and become stronger in order to defeat the Absolute, but he legit keeps the most important part: he wants YOU to become a mind flayer, a fact he only reveals waaaay later. Consent anyone?
And then? He keeps pushing the mind flayer agenda into you, and only reveals stuff about his past when the player finds out. When confronted about keeping you in the dark, he simply says "it's not relevant to our alliance". IDK, man, you killed your best friend who also turned out to be a dragon and the most important defender of Baldur's Gate. Maybe you should have told me that before going through all the trials??? So I wouldn't waste precious time?? Plus I wouldn't have to fight a very angry dragon because of YOUR mistakes?????
At some point, he even flirts with you, and since mind flayers are incapable of having feelings, what was he trying to accomplish if not emotionally manipulating the player even further?
Oh, but it doesn't stop there. He legit keeps Orpheus in the astral plane and gets angry if you suggest to do things differently, even when the very githyanki are fighting nail and tooth to free him despite all their Vlaakith drama.
But the last drop? The last drop??? It's when he tells ME that the fault of failing to defeat the Elderbrain is MINE because I'm WEAK lmao. And then, when the player finally decides to follow their instincts and free Orpheus, he gets SO BITTER that he will get IN YOUR WAY when you're just SO CLOSE to the Netherbrain, even when Orpheus is right at my side, proving him wrong.
The fact is he's just a patronizing, arrogant sob who can't admit he's wrong. And it pisses me off so much the way he needs to be the chosen one because "oh, I'm so special and evolved yaddayaddayadda".
You know which mind flayer I met and trusted him day 1? Omeluum. Omeluum is cool af and never lied to me. He apologized for making my tadpole stronger. He tells the player to leave him to die during the prison break (and I went through all the trouble to save him anyways because I do like him a lot). Omeluum is kind and humble. The Emperor could NEVER and I never felt more pleased when I killed him in the final act.
Rest in Raphael's arms, beatch. Won't be missed 0/10

When a spell goes horribly wrong and brings a 18 year old Morticia Addams to present day Nevermore, the Nightshade girls have to fight tooth and nail to keep the 'Frump' from being seen, especially by Weems.
Wednesday is unbothered by the presence of her teenage mother, whereas the rest of the girls, especially Yoko, are stunned by her beauty.
Everything was fine for Wednesday, until she walked into the nightshades library one evening to find Yoko being bent over the sofa by Morticia. Wednesday is horrified.
That is her mother. Her girlfriend is getting fucked by her past-version of her mother right in front of her. She demands to know what they're doing and how can Yoko do this, when Yoko argues that Morticia technically isn't her mother yet. Plus, she was Morticia's girlfriend before she was Wednesday's mother, so she has seniority.
Meanwhile, Morticia just continues to pound away, unbothered by her future daughter's presence. Like Yoko said. Wednesday isn't her daughter yet, and nothings going to make her pull out until she has Yoko cumming around her strap. Wednesday can’t decide whether or not she should leave or stay and watch Yoko cum.
Tumblr media
Catherine Zeta Jones is SO fine oml
Warning this is gonna get a little weird and gross 💀
So for the sake of this, this younger Morticia was brought to the future.
The girls were all already so in love with Morticia but when they somehow accidentally bring her younger self back to the school they have no idea how to control themselves. Enid is so talkative and constnslty trying to win Morticia’s affection while Yoko recounts her time with the Raven girlie years ago.
Wednesday tries to ignore all of it but she can’t. Mainly because every day she stumbles upon her young mother hooking up with another girl at the school. One day she’ll stumble upon Morticia making out with a siren in the hall and the next she’ll walk in on her getting eaten out by a vampire in the bathroom. While Wednesday is disgusted by it she can’t help but admire the fact that her mother had game.
One night she comes back to the room only to find Enid fucking her roughly on her bed. On Wednesday’s bed. To Wednesday it was like a car crash. She wants to look away but she just can’t. Seeing her girlfriend thrusting deep inside her mother was oddly fascinating to her. Morticia didn’t mind being watched by her future daughter. The only time Wednesday had to look away was when Enid pulled out to release her love on Morticia’s face. She couldn’t bare to watch her girlfriend do that to her mom.
One night in the library, Wednesday is calmly doing her homework when suddenly she hears moaning and groaning. She looks around and doesn’t seem to find anyone until she looks up and sees her mother getting fucked in the air by Yoko. (Yoko can fly in this for some reason just go along with it lmao) again Wednesday can’t look away she’s so fascinated by it. But she sorely regrets it when Morticia squirts and it rains down all over Wednesday making the small seer freak out and runs to the bathroom.

Hot take (I think)
Everyone in the fandom would be like Jax if they got Isekai'd into The Amazing Digital Circus, like it's just so likely that we all would refuse to go mad and become a sarcastic piece of shit (I hate you Jax) (But also damn why are you a mirror bitch)
Tumblr media
Like imagine being there for YEARS and slowly forgetting yourself, everyone who you knew and watching other people around you who are in that hell space also lose themselves, getting every day worse and ending up taking by force the role that Caine assign them with their stupid little names in his stupid little game, and seeing how even lovers get separated by the insanity of that whole scenario
I mean Kinger and Queenie in this case, like i'm sure where in a romantic relationship, but even if it was just a platonic kind of relationship, imagine seeing them love and care for each other, just to then seeing one of them get transformed into this fucking mess of a creature and the other be more and more lost in their mind until they are not the person you once met
Like fr if I was there for years I would not think it twice, either I get in a fist fight with Caine to be let out the place and FIGHT my way out with tooth and nail until it worked, OR just don't let myself get attached to anyone and screw every relationship that could be made with the other people in that place, making myself hate them or hate me to ensure I will never get any pain when seeing that they either succumbed to the madness and abstraction shit in this fucking nightmare
AND EVEN STILL Jax was actually horrified when seeing Kaufmo being abstracted, like yeah it could be "oh shit I'm gonna die" but I see it as a "Oh gods, oh fuck he actually went insane nonoononononon-" in a worried for the poor clown kind of way
Tumblr media
(And abstracted Kaufmo like trying to grab his face and the mannerisms they showed with him moving his head like trying to snap out of it was so messed up, like holy shit I'm sure he was actually understanding what was going on and even then could not control anything he was doing he was just an spectator to his own body, but that's for another post)
Also that fucking scene
THE CAMERA ANGLE
Tumblr media
The way they look so small and freaked out by the thing they are seeing (And Jax taking anything to make as an excuse to leave, the coward twink really just ditched lmao) (Honestly same I would run so fast)
Anyways, a tldr is; Jax is exactly the type of bitch all of us would become if we ended up there alone, scared and not being able to even remember who we were
Or also like Zooble, they are also a "Don't speak to me don't percibe me I do not care" but in a "I'm way too tired and don't/can't deal with anything don't push it b#t*h" way rather than a "I won't allow myself be affected by this shit, even if it means pushing someone else to die in my place (because I'm a coward)" kind of way that Jax has as a wee little bitch (Same dude)
Like no way in hell I would be as kind as Ragatha, like that poor bitch was throw around because of caring to help anyone damn
Anyways that's the take idk if I'm going to die to people who really really likes the bunny man or really really dislikes the bunny man for saying I think he ain't really good nor bad, just a bitch ass coward who has attachment panic like everyone and how we would be as shitty as him ey (pls don't kill me I have a family)
The other hot take I have it's that Caine is a bitch as mother fucker and he knows more than he let's on, let them out before I boil your teeth and cut your eyes like onions tuxedo man, but like it's not THAT big of a hot take u know
Anyways I think Pomni Ragatha and Jax should kiss idk about u people -crow noises-
-Leila (don't kill me please)

tell me about stellaris in the most autistic way imaginable (i wanna learn by infodump and infodump only)
(Srry this took me so long to answer I wanted to answer once I got home and promptly forgot about it lmao)
So! Stellaris. The 4x game where you genocide in space or something.
I'll start from the top, you will be designing a space-faring empire to play as, staring with...
SPECIES/HOME SYSTEM: This is where your gonna decide what your founding species looks like and what traits they have, as well as what their home planet/star are named. Not to mention you can write a short biography on your empires pre-ftl history here! Role-play wise this will affect your game greatly, but in terms of gameplay its only a big deal early on as barring some exceptions you will like end up with quite the melting pot, and any individual species traits will be of little consequence. The next part will be much more influential, however.
GOVERNMENT: Now we get into the real meat of your empire. Who are they? What do they stand for? What makes them stand out? How do they decide on their leaders? Do they decide on their leaders? You can be militaristic xenophiles who will fight tooth and nail to protect the galaxies people, or a curious hive mind that wants to hoard as much knowledge as it can without coming to blows with its neighbors, and yes, space nazis. Here you can also decide the past of your species, they could be fairly normal, simply reaching out into the stars after a few decades of booming economy, or they could've never lived on a planet at all, being born on floating habitats in the void.
MISC: Just some other details, your first leaders name/gender, what your ships look like, what your advisor sounds like, that kinda stuff.
GAMEPLAY: I'm sorry but I have that committed to muscle memory I would have a stroke if I tried to explain it. Montu and other stellaris youtubers are the best for that.
MODS: For when you've spent 200$ on dlc but want 600$ worth instead. This can be anything from simple tweaks to complete overhauls of the gameplay. My favorite are "gigastructural engineering and more" which expand on the megastructure system (just really big things that make the economy go brrrrrr) and adds lots of post endgame content. (Wanna rearrange entire star systems into mobile weapons platforms and pit them against space cats that consume millions of galaxies to outlive entropy?)
Then there's stellaris evolved, which changes literally every aspect of the game in some way we would be here all day so just know it's amazing.
Alright we've been through a few paragraphs of this so I think it's time to talk about one of my own empires!
THE EMPIRE OF SILDORIA: A long time ago, humans sent out colony ships into a wormhole found at the edge of the solar system, most were destroyed, but one of the surviving ones wound up in a random part of the galaxy, and went a-looking for a new home. But they couldn't find one, supplies were dwindling and systems were failing, so they took a gamble and took up residence in the upper atmosphere of an unusually stable gas giant. It was still a brutal task, where people were worked to death out of necessity rather than greed, but they pulled it off. Floating cities dot the gas planet of sildoria, and after scrounging up enough materials, they have made their way onto the galactic stage. It did not come without cost, however, as the humans, or rather, sildorians, have been fundamental changed by their experiences. Their psyche is unbreakable on a biological level, and their bodies are quite tough as well. They are instinctively inclined to reduce waste, and have a reduced birthrate as a result of cramped conditions. The sildorian government is an interesting one, while it is extremely focused on material gain and expansion of industry, they make sure to take as good care of their people as they can. A sildorian laborer will be expected to give everything they can spare in the workplace, and in exchange they will want for nothing at home. In the future the sildorian empire is likely to take forays into robotics and cybernetics to maximize productivity and comfort. OK that's all I have to say :D

okay ive just been thinking about bkdk wayy too much recently (when am i not, though, honestly?) and i just Have to dump my thoughts somewhere. these are my own personal opinions and if you don't agree 100% (or at all) that's perfectly fine!
it's kinda Long and Rambly so beware lmao
so ive been reading more bkdk meta (of course) and like, i have so many conflicting feelings cause. y'all, no amount of evidence and logic and reasoning and thematic and narrative parallels and development and arc conclusions and build-up and Everything will make a weekly shonen jump main title gay. that's My opinion as a terribly bitter cynic, and it is in no way meant to rain on other people's parades (if you think they will be canon, you are more optimistic than i and are making the world a sweeter place). I've just been burnt too many times, i don't really expect anything from mainstream media At All—only indie content gets my unfiltered hype and hopes—and whenever things do shake up differently from what i thought, it's a nice surprise! cause the alternative is, This Mountain of Evidence and Development... and then oops get hit with the straightification beam on the last second.
"but it would be so unsatisfying! and completely out of nowhere! and just plain out of character! and ignore so much development! and it wouldn't make any sense at all with what has been established in the story!" Yeah. i know! im as angry and annoyed and disappointed about it as anyone. and yet, so many fucking times, that's how it goes. it would be terrible, and weird, and completely against everything that's been set up, and yet it would happen anyway. this is true even for things that are not shipping-related—ask game of thrones how it ended. cause executives are Executives everywhere, including the "west", which is """"supposedly"""" more liberal (lol, lmao). people with money that make all the decisions force creatives to comply, or fight with tooth and nail and blood and sweat and tears into allowing them to make the story they DO want to make. so it's really hard for me to see it in any other light, when i have seen it happen so many times before.
and yet.
And Yet. i cant help but think, but wonder—what is it all for then, anyway??
i can honestly say, taking off my shipping goggles for a moment, bkdks platonic relationship has ended. it really ended two years ago, culminating when bkg took a bullet for him, and then was cemented when he apologised, you know, to trample down any doubts. there we go, narrative concluded! from rival to best friend. all loose threads tied in terms of their relationship. if that's how it had ended, how it had stagnated, remained in stasis, with this New Dynamic the new canon going into the final battle then show over. yeah. typical shonen bestie stuff. it would have ended and i would have gone "oh they were in LOVE fr" forever, but knowing that people who were like "this is what besties are like! this is what siblings are like!" also had as much of a claim to their interpretation as mine (even if i didn't personally agree w it lmao)
BUT IT DIDN'T STOP THERE and i have to ask why???? WHY is it more central i Don't Get It. i dont understand? i really dont get it cause.... why? bkg is important to deku, yes. other people are also important to deku (all might, his mom, his other friends, civilians, any lost pet he has to kill himself over cause he is a Good Caring Shonen Protag). that has been established for forever. so i don't rly understand the necessity to further highlight that One part of his personality (caring about kacchan) to motivate him into fighting the Big Bad Villain, when 1. he would've fought the villain anyway cause that's what heroes do, and 2. it could have been a generic "you hurt my friends!!" and like lump in more people there, like in the first war arc where several people got hurt (aizawa, gran torino, etc).
but No! you hurt that guy. that guy, that while he was dying, the villain, textually, explicitly says, "i am hurting you because it will make deku angry and sad, since you are his most important person" (that's almost a fucking quote im basically QUOTING here). and it's like, what? lmao wait. what?? why???
what is it building up towards?? i dont get it. it's not going to build up to the apology/their relationship being mended (what we thought would be the climax of the whole thing), cause that already happened. there's no "oh my god if kacchan dies he'll never get to say sorry!" stakes, or "oh my god if deku fails he'll never be able to be friends with kacchan again!" stakes, cause like, that already did happen though. i mean i know obviously in real life, you do things for people just for their sake, not because of what it will mean for your narrative arc. but this is a made up story and thus needs storytelling reasons for shit to happen. so what is the reason for deku needing to be pushed, needing to be backed into a corner, over kacchan dying? why did bakugo have to die (had to get FRIDGED, it's a trope and everything), if not so that his death would fuel dekus rage (which we were told explicitly was the reason why)? why, out of everyone on the battlefield, out of everyone in the CAST, did it have to be bakugo, the one to make deku Lose It?
i mean we know why, but still. what? is it really, textually, canonically That?
i just don't get it. and secretly, deep deep inside, i really hope we get to find out soon

2 and 4 for the Durge asks?
Thank you so much!! Link to the questions How does their race play into the design? Was it a conscious choice because of the racial features or did you simply enjoy the playstyle or lore? It was a conscious choice!
Humans are a very common race and I liked the idea of Bhaal's perfect child to be carefully crafted to look like a random guy, i wanted them to be a face that blends easily in the crowd (i think it's a useful trait to have for someone whose main job is killing people, lol). I 100% share an headcanon with this post about durge's physical appearance, so they do get a few small details that read a bit off. Their skin has a wax-like texture around scar tissues and their eye colour seems quite average from afar but isn't really natural when looked up close. These last bits came to me when i was looking at one shade of brown eyes (i think it was brown 4) and one of the scars in the cc in which the tissue seemed a little weird to my eye, not really textured and more like a pencil stroke on skin than an actual healed wound, so my durge ended up getting both these traits. How did Durge come to be? Why them? Was it a vibe you tried to capture or a specific visual you wanted to represent? Did you borrow them from previous works or were they handcrafted for this story you have in mind?
Though i sometimes borrow ocs from other stories and games (usually if i was vague enough about their ties to the original setting), my durge was specifically handcrafted for bg3 because i had a very defined idea about how i wanted to roleplay their killing compulsion in its context. I already knew a few bits of lore behind the urge origin, and i wanted a character through which i could go in depth about how it feels to lack autonomy and what it means to reclaim it so it felt like larian handed me this origin on a silver plate and told me to go wild lmao Both my tav and urge stories revolve around gaining agency but while my tav goes through some kind of personal growth and is able to partially heal herself at least, it was important for me to make up a guy who doesn't get a happy ending because i really wanted to explore a setting in which someone fights tooth and nail to achieve some measure of freedom and then consciously makes terrible choices (:

just got back from the fnaf movie, i really need to go to bed but i have to get some thoughts out NOW 🫠
positives
movey good C:
matthew lillard was just so so good god bless
the animatronics were amazing, i really wasn’t expecting the scene where they all played and had fun together????? it was such wish fulfillment i was just sitting there like is this real
(on that note HEY. someone had better gif that fronnie scene were theyre just playing and dancing together. 👉 get on it giffers)
maybe controversial but i liked the matpat and coryxkenshin cameos a lot they were funny and didnt detract from the flow too much
the jumpscares were not terribly hacky like i thought theyd be, and the balloon boy one was really good 👏
also IM NOT CRAZY THAT WAS A CIRCUS BABY REFERENCE RIGHT??? AAAAAAAAAA
all of the parts and service room was so cool tbh, all of the creepy old endos and parts, the little fetch easter egg, all of it so so good
the easter eggs in general were really fun, im looking forward to watching this movie be micro analyzed for years to come
the springlock scene 🤌 cinema…..
that scene were william roundhouse kicks mike is just like. so amazing. this is going on the positives. i cant believe they did that. what an amazing movie.
in general the lighting and sound design were very nice (i mean as a layperson i thought they were nice idk XD)
THE SONG WAS IN IT THEY DID THE FUCKING THING 😭👏
negatives
no puppet?
Tumblr media
i feel like this story suffers from the same issue TSE has, where by straying from the games canon you’ve actually made things so much more complicated? while some things definitely made sense (vanessa being williams daughter was a nice touch and made sense for both characters fight me, also a great nod to how shes mind controlled in game canon) others feel like they just made things more complicated? like, why was garrett just a random kid in a random campsite? why was william there, why did he kill him, why do the ghost kids know him? i guess you could say, if there is a reason, it will be revealed in a later movie? but thats so many unnecessary steps when all you had to do was have garret go missing from a freddys location (like in TSE). like, mikes brothers disappearance is linked to freddys, thats why he needs to work there, you could save a lot of time aunt jane ate up. speaking of.
its such a hilarious plot hole that they just totally move past aunt janes death. like this guy is fighting tooth and nail for custody of his sister against his aunt and she shows up dead at his house and nobody is suspicious or cares. also he shows up at the hospital with a stabbed cop who’s apparently in a coma and cant verify his story at all?? the plot armor on this man!!
i realize they needed to put abby in danger at some point or else why would she even be here, but having the ghost kids want to ghostify her doesnt make a whole lotta sense >_> like they kept saying william was confusing them but they never really showed that, golden freddys spirit kid seemed pretty aware of the situation the entire time.
that one jumpscare with the kid with black goopy eyes was pretty silly lmao. feel like they could have captured the creepypasta vibe better
this is semi positive and negative, but i really really liked vanessa’s creepiness i just wish theyd leaned into it a bit more? that scene where shes staring lovingly up at the animatronics and then asks mike to dance is just so 👌 like girl what is wrong with you fr 🥰 but then her behaviors dont make much sense after that, i was a bit confused as to when she was supposed to be trying to get mike to stay and when she was supposed to be warning him away.
the writing in general was definitely a bit weird ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ eh
sorry if my negatives seem like bummers, but i really enjoy picking apart movies i like, and i tend to like things more when there is stuff to pick apart! (sensory fandom experience…..) in general i really enjoyed the movie and i think most fnaf fans will! it’s fun cheesy horror that has a lot of love for the source material without trying to BE it, which wouldn’t be possible anyway
man theres definitely other things i could say but i really have to go to sleep now 😭 gn!!!

when is it implied that joel tried to kill himself?
i've played both games probably 100 times over, don't know how ive missed that lmao
This is very late because my Tumblr got shadow banned for a bit for no reason? Anyway here's some thoughts about Joel.
During the hotel scene in Pittsburgh you have several chances of optional dialogue with Ellie for the "I want to talk about it" achievement. One of theme takes place in front of dead bodies in a bathtub.
Ellie says, "I guess they took the easy way out, huh."
Joel responds with a far away, "It ain't easy."
Its implied in a lot of ways that Joel struggled to survive. An aspect of Joel that seems to be glossed over frequently is his survivors guilt. Much like Ellie, he survived, continues to survive, in a world that he had thrust upon him through a violent loss of a loved one. In the Part 1 remake, we can actually see he suffered from anxiety. which is a detail I'm glad they added. He behaves like someone with untreated anxiety and guilt. Not wanting to talk about loss, forcing himself to ignore the past and avoiding getting attached to the present because he can't care about people who won't be in his future. Not wanting to discuss losing Sarah, Tess, Sam, and Henry is a very poor coping mechanism and is in line with depicting someone struggling with their mental health going untreated.
I'm sure Joel learned some proper techniques after his wife left. After all he has to keep a roof over his and Sarah's head, so he fights. He fights to make it to soccer when he can, fights to be there for Sarah, despite his hectic work schedule. It's not perfect, he struggles but his kid loves him all the same. Just as he's getting a handle on things the world goes to shit and he loses the one thing he fought for. The person he woke up for and dragged himself through the day for. The person who relied on him to keep her safe the most died in his arms. After he fought tooth and nail to keep her safe. He failed and if your world has already ended, why not end it all?
Unable to cope with loss drives him to be a hunter, to kill, to be ruthless, allowing himself to let go of himself. Becoming a smuggler in Boston, having Tess around was a balance he found as he grew older. He allowed himself to soften up for her and she dies in the end too.
Caring gets you hurt.
Many aspects of Joel's character is chalked up to big tough guy who grew to care. That character assessment is off, Joel is a man, who cared, who cares. He cared to the point he had to shut that part of himself down to keep himself alive. Joel is a man who always cared, and he thought that made surviving difficult. In the end he learned how to care for himself again. He relearned how to fight, how to live. The sad part is once again, just as he started to get a handle on things, his world went to shit and his past caught up with him.

Weighing in on the Bagan/Destroyah stuff with some ideas of my own, because I've heard people mention it a few times:
What if Bagan and Destroyah were divided between routes? Like Destroyah being exclusive to Genocide and Bagan being solely a Coexistence Endgame threat. Here's my thought process for each:
Destroyah fits Genocide perfectly, I think. Godzilla would most likely fight him years after his rampage- and I think it's really telling his final fight would be against a monster created almost solely by a weapon humanity designed to kill him. I almost see Destroyah as a sort of humanity stand in- a grotesque monument to Godzilla's most horrific sin, made up of trillions of microorganisms, perhaps symbolic of everyone he slaughtered, born of perhaps many Oxygen Destroyers humanity kept up their sleeve in case a situation like a rampaging Godzilla happened. However, they were unable to kill Evolved Godzilla, and humanity was wiped out by the billions. It's almost like a karmic inversion of the classic Godzilla tale: where he is a metaphor for humanity's sin of harnessing nuclear energy into a weapon, and Destroyah is a metaphor for the sin of Genocide. Something else important: I think this should be a solo fight for Godzilla. As much as it would hurt Mothra and Abraxas and his family deeply to know that he would not come home from this fight, everyone kinda knows the weight of sin is something he alone must bear and atone for- even if atonement means death, which it ultimately does. It also marks a designated endpoint for Genocide, which I think really suits it as The Bad Ending® (Good Endings in games usually let the characters have a long life for making the proper choices, it's karmic sure but also narratively satisfying. Bad Endings... don't do that). I mean, you totally could have Destroyah be in Coexistence- but major reason why I don't really vibe with it is that he would kind of need to be the end of a major character (basically universally agreed to be Godzilla- it kinda just makes too much sense not to), but a Godzilla death in Coexistence just seems- weird to me. Sorry if this is blunt but like- why? What purpose would it even serve? Thematically he would've been fighting tooth, claw, and nail to build a good relationship with humanity and be a stalwart defender of the planet- despite horrific PTSD from Ghidorah and Xenilla, had taken so much shit from humanity and their crazy bullshit but refused to give up on them and go all murdery, and if Ozzy's alive there'd be the added aspect of him having to save him back when that all happened. I'm not sure how satisfying it would feel to only reward him with a heroic death when all of Coexistence points to a hard-fought happy ending where he gets to grow old with a humanity he's made peace with and a reunited family by his side (ikik; there goes tosho again with his 'no akctually this character should be allowed to live' crap. When's he gonna grow a pair and start letting people die in his HQs? Idk man maybe being a jjk fan has given me an aversion to deaths in stories or something, but to me characters are the beating heart of a story and I value them functionally in writing above every other aspect of a narrative- so whenever I want to kill one off I make sure I have a damn good reason to do so, as a lost character is directly trading off any later plots that could be written with them. lmao death rant in the middle of what's supposed to be a shorter ask, tbh normal behavior of mine at this point)
Ok, Bagan. Gotta credit my guy @zerm2v0hg for a lot of inspiration on this front, as lots of stuff here draws on their posts about Endgame-Abraxas stuff. Like Zerm mentioned he could have more of a personality compared against Des, which I think would suit him as a more sinister antagonist in Coexistence- a more cunning foe the Titans must overcome as opposed to the Icon of Sin lookalike in the other timeline who only cares about sweet bloodshed. A very important detail about Bagan is also that he's canonically made up of both Ghidorah and Godzilla's cells. So- what if this ends up being Ghidorah's next form? One of their asks did mention Ghidorah coming back to destroy London (to further fuck up Vivi, as if she needs further fucking up lol). This could be a kind of Composite Form of his that combines Ichi, Ni, and San's intelligence into a single mind for greater efficiency, merging both his and Godzilla's biology (or- semi-crack idea, he could see himself as kind of like a twisted offspring of Ghidorah and Godzilla; semi-crack because he'd call himself the son of Ghidorah and Godzilla and the entire cast would just deadpan at him while Godzilla tries not to retch at the thought of having a kid with Ghidorah). Either way, Bagan's big gimmick is his Shapeshifting power, where he modifies his body into different forms at will, like a controlled evolution- similar to what Shin does just way faster and efficient at killing his enemies. I feel like you'd need a full cast of fighters to take something like this on- as there's no way he'd be able to counter everyone at once, so when he swaps to counter one person someone else takes point against them, giving the others time to shine against him. Him being a new version of Ghidorah could also be kind of a progress report of how far the world and Titans has come since Boston- and even Russia.
I approve of Bagan and Destoroyah being Route exclusives. It's kind of like Pokemon! But with DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.

ok, so I still have 2 more episodes to go on fallout prime, and it's genuinely a very good show that I'm enjoying quite a bit, both in just watching it and dissecting implications and lore with my brother
but the thing people need to understand is, Todd does not understand this IP and does not want to
That's very evident in Fallout 3 and 4. I loved both games, but his idea of the BoS, is that they're good guys - heroic knights in the post apocalyptic wastelands
and for the most part they're just.. not... (which the show actually touches upon)
they are, at their core, fanatic cultists who are cosplaying. they have the weapons, armor, numbers, and supply lines (at least in eastern chapters) as to be a roaming army that warps the landscape as they pass through for supplies or technology to confiscate.
they're weirdos with guns
Todd does not understand this and does not want to
putting the rest of my grumbling under the cut
Todd, Whitey McWhiteyson, the whitest man alive, does not understand culture that's cherished and passed down through generations - the songs, the stories, the food, the histories. As long as there is one (1) person alive, that person carries all that cultural history, and they will fight tooth and nail to keep it alive, whether through their own family lines or sharing it with others.
you're telling me that the different ethnicities that survived would be content with 50s radio and 200 year old meatloaf???? get real, they would laugh and stab you with a fork
from my own italian american background, you can bet your ass that somehow we would make our food with what we have, even if we have to use 12 foot basil and mutant garlic, we would make it work
and not even just the various american european backgrounds with their own histories and food, but just even black southern food
you're telling me, that black people would be content with 200 year old meatloaf?? when they remember how to make grandma's fried chicken and other soul food?? GRANDMA'S FRIED CHICKEN?? when chickens and flour are very much still available?? lol lmao
you're telling me that latinos wouldn't pass down their own heritage? That they'd be eating that sawdust canned spam? lol lmao no <3
IT'S JUST SO STUPID TODD
he doesn't think about the world as a living world, it's just a sandbox where the futuristic knights go pew pew and save the day
he doesn't think on why his game is eating 200 year old food that should give everyone botulism, he doesn't think about the people in his games living in fucking GARBAGE for 200 years and no one thought "hey, maybe we should clean up?" he doesn't think about clothes other than "lol we got this at a ransacked kmart lol"
TODDDDD i'm going to pick you up by your pleather jacket and shake you because you weigh like 2 grapes
anyway this is an old rant from Fallout 4, but still valid
I don't like actively hate the man (although he did cancel a proposed Fallout NV2 by Obsidian), but - Todd, thank you for Skyrim, it's time you retire <3
