He looked away, and my stomach dropped. "I didn't mean to make you cry," he muttered, still not able to bring his eyes back to mine.

I wanted to believe him. I wanted to believe he would never, ever hurt me. But he did. And there was no going back to how we used to be. Really, we weren't anything. But the hope of what we could be crashed around my heart as he lowered his head.

He inhaled a shaky breath, and my skin flushed with an angry heat. I wanted to make him cry. I wanted him to feel the same pain I felt. I wanted him to feel like he's wasted his time. The only solace came in how his eyebrows pressed together with regret.

Until his damn blue eyes flicked back up, grasping at the last bit of hope that orbited around us. A chill ran up my spine and engulfed the anger, replaced by that familiar urge to forgive.

I closed the space between us, and his arms wrapped around me. But I couldn't shake that feeling of him wanting someone else. I knew I would never be enough for him.

If there was a moment when I should have kissed him, it was that moment. That moment he stared at me with those pacific blue eyes. That moment after he brushed the hair out of my face. That moment I realized I loved him.

His mouth moved ever so slightly, and I wondered if he was thinking what I was thinking, if he was feeling what I was feeling. He didn’t say a word. He didn’t need to. It was written all over his face…a story of something that couldn’t be, reflecting back at me.

I don’t remember the moment after that. I don’t remember how we broke ourselves out of that trance. But I remember that moment haunting me for hours that turned into days that turned into weeks that turned into months that turned into years.

That moment, forever hanging in limbo, when I should have kissed him.

I replayed the game my main F/O is (I won't be able to finish it cause I have issues with one of the minigames), mainly cause I got a crisis & I also wanted to hear him & I'm obsessed w his og voice.

I think if Rody didn't have Manon to obsess over and therefore for Vince to make her into food for Rody I still think Vince would go cannibalism route. Like I think we're talking Vince giving a small piece of himself to be eaten by Rody as a form of love, just want to make that clear. This man is not normal.

I also think if Rody did have an obsession with Vince, he would have given a piece of himself for Vince to eat. He is all about giving the most to his partner even at the detriment to himself. He would hand over the whole of himself.
