An almost universal fictionkin experience is, getting excited when seeing someone refer to a certain character as their “kin”, but then feeling utter disappointment when you realize they just mean they relate to a character, the struggle is real man.

He was actually my very first kin type the second I entered the Fictionkin Community and learned about what being kin even was

Basically, my extreme attachment and connection with Hobbes is a big reason how I became a kintype of him!

Hi!

I'm currently working on making a kin and fictive Discord server for a specific source, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for any rules I might want to add? Like I have the basics (no harassment, no fakeclaiming, etc etc) but is there any kin or fictive specific rules I'd need to specify? Such as like something related to using the server to find sourcemate dates being banned or something?

I've never made a public server before, much less one focused on kin and fictive identities, so suggestions for important rules that might be skipping my mind would be appreciated!

Is it weird to say how anxious I am for tomorrow. Like any show before has never ever ever scared me. And I don't know how to explain it. I don't think it's normal for me to be like this. I think it's knowing the fact I'm gonna have to see myself having a mental breakdown (possibly) in canon media and being hurt (possibly) in canon media.
