These two little trouble makers came with me to such a big and special appointment! I got the all clear from my surgeon!! 🌈🎉

I can book our flight this week to go to Canada in August and pick the girls up on my own again. He said I’ll probably never be pain free and there’s a chance I’ll need surgery later on down the line but considering where I’m at 6 weeks post-op to where I was pre-op and with the work he did he’s positive it should stay as it is for a daily long time.

He lit up when he saw me carrying Willow into the room with me, when I left I shook his hand and thanked him for giving me my life back, for giving my twins their mother back💕 he looked like he was holding back tears just before we left, seeing how broken down I was even on the day of surgery to now, and seeing not only his patient that he helped but the children he’d helped by helping their mother.

He is the best doctor I’ve ever had and to have him as my surgeon was an absolute honour. I can’t thank him enough for what he’s given me back. I won’t ever be as I was before, I am disabled and I will probably always struggle with severe chronic back pain and problems but it won’t ever be as horrific as it was.

Also can I just say these two did amazing holding our hands through the hospital!? Seriously I’m so proud of my little girlies😍😁

Adulting sucks. .

Half way through 2017 already and I'm no where near my personal goals when it comes to my fibro. I've switched meds and they are doing no better for me. . Worst part. . I'm barely keeping up with myself at this point. Work has me to the point where I can't do anything at home. I just lay here. I'll get up with my kids if my Mom is busy but other than that, I'm done. 45-60 hours a week is way too much. It's not getting any better. It won't. My higher ups don't seem to mind that we are all struggling at that. It's sad. Not sure what to do. I have to work but my body is slowly giving out more and more as each week goes by. I'm lost at this point.

Me...with #nofilter after my surprise haircut today thanks to a wonderful friend!! I have been soooooo fatigued the past few days. I haven't been able to keep up with any household chores, responding to friends, or social media really well. I haven't posted a new blog post in the past two weeks and that makes me sad. But I've had an incredibly busy schedule last week and this week and any "extra" time I have has been resting. It makes me feel like such a bum. Feeling so fatigued and in so much pain makes it hard to concentrate on the things I need to accomplish, so I'm behind in everything again. #fibro really robs you of the life you should have had and that can be extremely frustrating and depressing. I was trying to give a nice smile in this pic because internally I was grateful for my new do, thankful for my friend, and very happy with the cut.
